One of the reasons the TFA Earth raised Bot from Quirked Earth thought they weren't a Cybertronian was because they couldn't transform into a vehicle.

Something which Ratchet frustratingly tried to explain was because their T-Cog still had the Cybertronian equivalent to a child safety lock. Which again and again he offered to work on. But the Earth raised bot refused saying they didn't need it because, again, they weren't a Cybertronian😅

But after facing the realization they finally decide to have Ratchet work on their T-Cog and look too get a vehicle mode.

For so long they just thought there quirk was just being a giant robot but having the option to transform feels exciting!

How does Optimus and his team help them pick a vehicle to scan and eventually how to ride in it?

-Optimus takes this task very seriously, making multiple lists of possible alt modes and where to find them. Choosing the right alt mode is actually quite big of a deal since it will determine how some bots on Cybertron will treat them. While he ultimately wants them to pick whatever is right for them, he can't help but try and push them towards ground vehicles, stuff like cars and trucks. Anything with wheels, really. Optimus knows that if they chose a flying alt mode or a beast-form then there are plenty of bigots that would discriminate against them.

-Ratchet also takes this seriously but he's more relaxed with it. Alt modes and transforming comes naturally to cybertronians and there's no forcing it. Once the bot finds their alt mode they will know it instinctively and transforming will happen just like that. All Ratchet has to look out for is any potential complications that might come with activating their t-cog for the first time.

-Bumblebee turns it into a game, making bets about what their alt mode is going to be. He makes it fun and exciting, something to look forward to. Teases the bot that no matter what they end up turning into, he's still going to be the fastest. Lowkey brags about how the best car could serve as his alt mode (as if he didn't just choose and then stuck with the first one he found).

-Bulkhead is just so supportive. He's relaxed about it but that's only because he's sure that they will end up choosing the perfect alt mode for themself. Doesn't really care about what that ends up being, be it a car, a truck, a plane or something like a microscope. Alt modes are important, yeah, but they don't change who the person really is. It's more like finding something that makes you feel more like yourself.

-Prowl is more silently supportive. Instead of just presenting them with whatever he thinks could serve them as an alt mode, he reflects on their personality, what he knows about them, to try and determine what kind of alt mode would suite them. Is also more spiritual about it, explaining that alt modes are less about the physical aspect and more about the emotional one. Finding the right alt mode is about confidence and self acceptance.

If you're still interested in having more headcannon ideas for quirk Izuku au, maybe have one where Izuku's quirk is similar to AFO's quirk? But he's not biologically related to him?

So, izuku’s quirk is kind of like a mix of Monoma’s and AFO’s, where he can borrow someone’s quirk after a five finger tip activation, but while he’s copying it, they can’t use it. His time limit is 10 minutes per quirk and he can hold up to 20 at a time

Midoriya izuku has a quirk- but his mother is unsupportive of it. Maybe its because it reminds her of her relatives. Or maybe shes just jealous. The quirk allows him to keep everything he touches and stores it in an unknown place. Better version of someone Inko used to know. One day Inko takes it too far and kicks her son out. And so appears Collector- the vigilante eraserhead has been chasing for months. When he was sitting on a rooftop Izuku has a thought- ‘what if he can store people?’ And of course who else can train him except for a certain underground hero?.

What if the TFA Quirked AU combined with the Bot Raised on Earth scenario?

Basically, the Earth based bot always thought that there apperancevand size was the result of a quirk. Even when meeting Optimuses team, there are still adamant that they are human with a mutation quirk that makes them look similar to a Cybertronian.

Only to learn the truth and angerly confront their human parents who sheepishly admit that they had found them and disclosed the location of the pod they found him in.

Feeling sad and betrayed, how do the TFA Bots try to comfort them?

-Optimus is nothing buytsympathetic and is more than willing to lend them an audio in case they want to talk. Not that great at comforting though, mostly ends up trying to explain why the bot's parents lied to them, which doesn't really work out great when they are still agitated.

-While Ratchet probably spent the longest time trying to convince the bot that they were actually cybertronian, he still feels bad for them now that they know the truth. Tries to comfort them by teaching them about Cybertron and cybertronian history, hoping to take their mind of things.

-Bumblebee makes a joke out of the fact that the bot didn't realize it until now but when they snap at him he apologizes. He didn't mean to be a dick, humor is just how he deals with things. Similarly to Ratchet he tries to make them feel better by distracting them, mainly with games and racing.

-Out of everyone, Bulkhead is probably the best at comforting the bot. He's a great listener and that's exactly what they need right now. At the same time he doesn't aggravate their frustration with their parents and instead makes them calm down enough to think about their situation.

-Prowl tries to be a mediator. While he understands the bot's feelings, how betrayed they feel, he also understand why their parents did what they did. He tries to support the bot while at the same time defending their parents, as they only lied with the best intention in mind.
