not only do people brush over kevin’s alcoholism, they brush over his struggle with food. it’s canon that the nest was very controlling when it came to food and body image, and when kevin is in palmetto he still is very aware of his diet and calories. we see this in tsc with jean too, he worries that the food he consumes negatively affects his ability to play. kevin and jean have disordered eating habits, and it’s a real trauma from not having control over food not just a “haha he’s such a jock” habit.

Whatever you do don't think about Jean coming from France to America when he was 14 not knowing any English. Don't think about Riko making sure he knew Japanese before English. Don't think about him not being able to understand what the older Ravens, Riko and Tetsuji were saying about him in English. Don't think about how he came to learn the meaning of the words "whore" and "property"

Don't think about how they taught him these languages bc we all know he probably didn't go to an actual high school since he koved straight into evermore. Don't think about whay Riko did whenever he slipped up and said something in French, or couldn't remember a word. Don't think about why Jean was so scared of teaching Kevin french and why he will never teach anyone again

i forget every single time that Kayleigh was Irish thus so is Kevin and I just binged watched Derry girls- imagine Kevin having a Irish accent ( just imagine) and the reason he gets ignored a lot by Andrew is because that boy has no fucking idea what Kevin is saying; half the foxes don't it's hilarious to think about that like him yelling at everyone 😭✨

Something that TSC2 will probably explain: Jean keeps mentioning that something happened in January after Neil left - specifically something about how Riko did something to Zane and Grayson (presumably after they hurt Jean). Jean also mentioned a contest that Zane won (probably part of whatever sadistic punishment Riko dreamt up)

Suspicious gaps in the timeline at the nest - things that Jean wont even think about

Okay so maybe im a bit overdramatic or seeing things that are nonexistent but the one thing i loved about Jean and Kevins friendship is how Kevin immediately secured a place on the Trojans team for him. Like if you think about it, Jean must be one of the best backliners out there since he was number 3 of The perfect court and everything and Kevin, the biggest exy addict in the whole world that “wouldnt survive if they lost” just gave Jeans skills to their biggest rival since Riko is gone. Kevin really just said “yeah i cant give you a home with the foxes but i can make you one with the Trojans” and did just that the first chance he got.
