Jean going to USC instead of being a Fox was honestly the best decision ever. USC being the antecedent of everything Edgar Allan was. The Trojans being the complete opposite of everything the Ravens are. Going from the Ravens dark, cruel, and violent environment to the happy, kind, and gentle nature of the Trojans. From the Dark Ravens Nest to the Gold Sunshine Court. From bleak West Virginia to sunny California. On opposite sides of the country. From a captain that rules with fear to a captain that rules with warmth and understanding. From Jersey number 3 to Jersey number 29, not a 3 in sight, not divisble by 3, no association to 3 at all. Instead, a combination of someone who helped him through the Nest, someone who helped him out, and someone who will help him through the aftermath. (2- Kevin; 9- Renee; 2 + 9= 11 - Jeremy)

I think it really helps him to completely restart. To begin again in a place that is so unlike the origin of all his trauma. Far from Kevin and Neil who would be constant reminders of his trauma. Even away from Renee, even though she was his rainbow through the darkness, who may only remind him of the day that was almost his last. A clean slate.

Whatever you do don't think about Jean coming from France to America when he was 14 not knowing any English. Don't think about Riko making sure he knew Japanese before English. Don't think about him not being able to understand what the older Ravens, Riko and Tetsuji were saying about him in English. Don't think about how he came to learn the meaning of the words "whore" and "property"

Don't think about how they taught him these languages bc we all know he probably didn't go to an actual high school since he koved straight into evermore. Don't think about whay Riko did whenever he slipped up and said something in French, or couldn't remember a word. Don't think about why Jean was so scared of teaching Kevin french and why he will never teach anyone again

esppp when he's drunk. he just chomps onto the closest person. if he's sitting silently in a room with James, if they're both cuddling and he's reading a book, he'll just randomly chomps on James' cheek, arm, thigh whatever. And then if its, James he'll give it a little kiss but anyone else just *chomp*

sometimes he sneaks up on Sirius and just bites his shoulder and runs away

regulus black would never answer his phone. he would sit and watch the phone ring and then text "what do you want" when it hangs up

big believer of "if it can be said in a text/voice note then why tf are you calling me"

his phone is also always on silent no matter what

I used to think when Neil told the foxes that "he asked" when the foxes asked how he got Andrew to do stuff he was just knowingly lying because it wasn't just asking, it was clearly an exchange, a deal.

but now I think that Neil just has such a genuine kinship with Andrew that their definition of "asking" is just completely different than other people's, that the foxes dont understand. To Andreil asking someone to do something is always an exchange of something. Especially in the world that they grew up in. Nothing came for free. In their world, there's no such thing as altruism. People don't just do things because you simply asked them to. They don't do things for nothing in return. So the typical concept of "asking" and just getting something done for nothing doesn't exist to Neil. So when he tells the foxes he "just asked" it's because he genuinely think that that's what asking is; he doesn't know it means something completely different to the foxes.

when i get sad I just remember all the times Andrew had to wear bright fucking highlighter orange

Nicky probably started crying with laughter the first time he saw Andrew wearing the school colours after seeing him in purely black for the entire time he's known him. and not even andrew holding a knife to his throat could stop him

regulus and sirius would have the worst fights ever. Like full on screaming matches with tears streaming down faces, hyperventilating, turning red, breaking shit. Then not talk to each other for a day, and avoid each other at all costs

and then start talking to each other and acting normal like nothing happened without either one apologizing or awknowledging the fight

And remus and james would watch like: is this healthy??? I dont think this is healthy
