danslang: a fully functional, entire language created by high school students and adopted by the entire student population at their school. their harried principal believes they are planning something, like a "drugs and sex party", so when a linguist arrives to study danslang, the principal ties him into his plan to shut down all danslang in the school.

Holy shit. I anticipated some tragic backstory from the "I must feed the young ones" panels, but what I'd guessed was that Senshi might have become so devoted to cooking and eating literally whatever because he'd previously survived a famine and had seen children starve to death. I did not expect him to have been the child who was the sole survivor of a doomed travel party, one of whom was determined to feed Senshi first because he was the youngest, and that Senshi has lived with the fear of having inadvertently committed cannibalism by eating stew that he'd never quite known the contents of. I'm happy for him that Laios deduced and confirmed for him that it was griffin meat, that he was able to taste the meal that saved his life once more and remember the friends he lost. Seriously, I'm crying, and also earnestly relieved that while his backstory is pretty dark, it's not the type of fucked up I'd been preparing myself mentally for.

it is so wild how differently my opinion on astarion/pc changed over the course of 4 months.

i used to be FIRMLY in the camp that astarion held no real deep feelings for the pc until at least the end of act ii—more likely act iii

but good lord has 600hours and exploration of all dialogue trees changed my mind because uh. yeah. idk PERSONALLY OBVIOUSLY THIS IS ALL MY OWN OPINION BUT

The Truth about Eros is a SilverFlint soulmate AU that I’d been begging to record since my days in Japan. @aisalynn has constructed a stunning epic tale of fate, longing, loss, and redemption. This story spans Silver’s entire history, from his pre-canon childhood, all the way through a post-canon reunion with Flint. It’s stunning in both its scope and its visceral prose and I’m sure, like me, you’ll be absolutely spellbound by it.

Last year, Reading Between the Lines premiered on Good Friday with A Vulgar Holy Thing by @lupismaris so it’s only fitting that, in closing out our first year, we once again launch episode 12 on Good Friday.

Once again, these episodes would not be the same without the gorgeous cover art and this month is no exception. Once again, Kelsey, aka @magicbubblepipe has absolutely blown our minds with their stunning work! Inspired by a sculpture by Antonio Canova, this piece features Flint as Eros and Silver as Psyche. Can I just point out how difficult the angle of Silver’s face is? Holy moly, what a talent!

Left Brain, Right Brain

I'm sorry but this is literally Arthur and John situation???

Right brain:

Can't speak

Controls the left side (arm for example)

Has its own opinion on different topics compared to the left one

Recognizes faces

Basically assists the left brain

Left brain:

Is in charge of speaking

Controls the right side

Doesn't recognize faces

Is probably the "leading" one in the personality perception, like "the host"

Makes up it's own explanation for stuff only the right brain knows but it still influenes the left one's actions

Now, I just watched the video and jumped right here to share it because WOW human bodies are SOMETHING aren't they, and how conveniently fitting this all is!

BUT I didn't do any further research so I have no idea how scientific the info actually is. Feel free to add to it!

I've been relistening to tpp season 1 and it's still so mindblowing to me how mick is seen only as a comic relief character!! yeah, sure, he's silly and stupid and gets himself into bad situations, but he's also like 4 years worth of therapy sessions crammed into a single character and is way more complex than he gets credit for

thinking about how arthur shoved a dagger into his own throat to save john from the king because john's his friend and he loves him. and then when arthur finally collapses beneath all of that pain and grief and guilt he's carried for years john saves him from being buried and then saves his life in the mines and arthur believes it's because john feels the same. they're friends and they love each other so of course. of course you would do anything to save the one you love.

so he trusts him. he trusts him all the way to new york and doesn't think for a moment that there could be something amiss. that john, his best friend who killed the last person he loved and whom he himself almost willingly died for, is lying to him. again.

I’m sorry (not really) but I’ve always imagined Arthur at a MAX of like 5’9 he’s a short king no way that man touches six foot every time I listen to an episode I just know I wouldn’t have to look up to talk to him I can’t explain it. Man pulls out his 5th fake ID and it says 6’1 and he gets the cops called on him bc John said nothing and knows nothing those are the rules.
