HIIII i've had this thought for a while about shut me up but i always forget to send an ask ;-; So since kaiser is the band's lead vocal i was just wondering if there are any singers or band vocalists irl who sound like him or perhaps we can compare his voice to for reference? MY IMAGINATION DEMANDS TO BE FED PLS TELL ME IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE IN MIND TY TY

if we’re getting technical, i can say miyano mamoru cause he’s gonna play kaiser and can SING but his style of music doesn’t fit bastard city

if we’re okay with an english/non-japanese va… hmmmmmm okay here’s my brainstorming list:

title fight (might be a little too high for kaiser)

basement (especially in covet and are you the one) is a good middle ground that fits their punk/rock genre. i don’t imagine kaiser’s voice being high or low but somewhere in the middle

okay. hear me out. if not basement, then bring me the horizon ✋🤚 shadow moses came on while i was writing this and if we’re going for a slightly raspier feel then yes. their lead singer has one of those voices i think fits kaiser too okay yeah i like him more i think 👍

I listened to vows & vengeance again (ngl just episode 7 because of Emmrich) and when Nadia calls Manfred Bones he gets upset and Emmrich says it's because he doesn't like nicknames but Manfred likes Neve calling him Fred so I'm thinking does he like Fred because it's not othering him (like bones making reference to him being a skeleton) or is it because wisps love Neve, I like to think it's both
