as much as the witcher S3 carries on the tradition from previous seasons of being A Mess™️(derogatory), as has always been the case the actors are all still absolutely killing it. HOWEVER to just focus on one part in particular that blew my tits clean off was the part where Jaskier sees Geralt injured in Brokilon for the first time. The way Joey Batey performed that; the shaky intake of breath, the pain and discomfort of seeing a loved one like that, the desperately trying to keep yourself together - brought me right back to seeing dying family members in hospital beds. It is exactly like that, and he absolutely nailed it, and I need to just tell him (as if he'd ever see this) that he did an absolutely phenomenal job!

i just realized Radovid didn't just become the lover of a bard - he became the lover of one of the most famous bards of the Continent who is incredibly well known for his songs he writes based on his love and heartbreak brought on by A Guy He Loved Who Broke His Heart. imagine you were a prince and your kingdom's spy network was like "hey there's this bard spy we're using for his ties to the Literal Two Most Important People to the Future of the Continent" and then you're like. that's fucking taylor swift.

I mean, it was also the first time that we saw Jaskier being allowed to play hard to get. Every time it was him who pursued the other person, proved his worth to them, earned the right to be close. This time he was the receveir of affection and the one from whom affection was pursued. That might be the reason why he grew suspicious, it was just all too new for him and hard to believe

Finally geralts and yennefers relationship actually works

Geralt cares about his family
