Common Misconceptions on Spirituality
Before I understood and began to practice spirituality, like others I was somewhat confused on what spirituality was, but like all beliefs it's a lifestyle choice that can bring about peace if you continue to incorporate it into your daily life.
There are many misconceptions about spirituality that need dispelling. Spiritual people are not always at peace with the world and they're not always happy. But intentionality and spirituality are important and becoming enlightened is even more important if we are to live in harmony with each other and to live content and peaceful lives.
We know spirituality is not a religion. While it's true, many religions do have a spiritual component to them, spirituality isn't one. Going to a church is based on religious teachings, spirituality is based on universal truths and open and transparent dialogue based around the universal laws.
Another misconception is that those who follow 'spirituality' are out of touch with the real world. It's simply not true. Those who follow spirituality, are engaged in daily life, but their connections are with the spiritual realm.
Speaking from my own experiences, being 'spiritual' helps you to get the best out of your life. When you practice Spirituality, every day worries reduce. With spirituality, you're putting your trust in external forces that help you shape your decision making.
When others also follow spirituality, it allows you to live your life with a little more ease.

i wanna talkl about the fact that knives has bandages wrapped around an arm in this episode; specifically, only one arm? like, if it was just compression bandages or something you'd think it'd be both arms but no it's just the one??
which leads me to suspect that conrad's already begun the human/plant hybrid experiments even this young
also this entire episode just gives me Thoughts about a lot of things like; when knives starts choking luida, it's blatant he isn't seeing luida. the way he asks her if 'must you rip my brother from my time and again you witch', it's obvious he's talking to his memory of rem. in that moment he isn't seeing or talking to luida, he's seeing rem and speaking to her memory.
and then the way his first instinct, even after vash rejects him, rejects his cause is still to protect him. the first thing he does, the first thing he says is don't touch him, don't lay a hand on my brother, when vash collapses. bc he views luida as a threat, due to her humanity, and he has to protect his brother. he has to keep vash safe from her.
and then vash puts a gun in his face and rejects him even more completely, yet knives still promises to build the world he's seeking for him, for them.
