Evoked by a blue sky with clouds, a cherry blossom, a cuddly Labrador puppy toy, the chuckle of a stream... Somewhere along the line experiences dulled and things like colour lost their meaning. They would visit me again in dreams and in nature from time to time like spiritual experiences, like slipping across dimensions. I dreamed of Elysium, over the hills, I dreamed of my grandma’s house where secrets were hidden and pressed me to seek them. And out of a mirage, flamingos settled on the salt lake in Cyprus and fantasies became tangible, a promise that even the unreal is real. I can feel parts of myself being restored. I no longer mourn the innocent wonder of childhood. It has come back to me. It never left. Do one thing today that takes you back to a sweetness. One you thought lost. There may be pain there in the gilded box of memory. But take a sip from the bottle and allow yourself to slip back into a skin you once wore. You may find that when you surrender the pain of loss, that you can inhabit that bliss far more deeply than you ever did as a child. Hieroglyph: The devil and The Fool is a twelve song narrative and musical journey through the themes of religion, morality, mental illness and human nature. The last year of my life has been spent crafting this thing. My main inspirations are Terence McKenna lectures, The Velvet Underground, The Bible, and a psychotic episode I had.

🕯️I don’t remember quite why I decided to hike that day, but hey, my cards were in my bag and I figured I might as well pull a few in nature…Breathing in the fresh air, I decide that this basic little path the city mapped out just wasn’t cutting it. It was time to go rogue. Adjusting my bag, I tightened my shoes and jumped down into a gully. The trees werr dense there, but luckily I didn’t give a fuck. No one was around for miles, but the air was thick with sound…birds, trees, wind. There was a clearing ahead, a meadow, perfect lighting for a quick reading. I stumbled out of the trees and that’s when we made eye contact, she and I…we froze for a moment, shared a moment of eternity… then she twitched her wings and flew away. 🦋🕯️✨

Na początek: muzyka klasyczna, obecnie – z XVII wieku. Wybierz dogodny dla siebie moment i wysłuchaj albumu w całości. Postaraj się zrobić to w ciszy i spokoju. Najlepiej z zamkniętymi oczami. Wtedy dźwięki brzmią zupełnie inaczej. Jeśli zaś nie masz nastroju na słuchanie z zamkniętymi oczami, spróbuj skupić się patrząc na wybrany obraz. ���Królowa elfów” jest luźną bardzo adaptacją „Burzy” Szekspira. „The Fairy Queen“ - Ein ungewöhnlicher Sommernachtstraum beim ASPHALT-Festival

(Foto: Duda Pavia Company & NBE -1 © Matusiak Wenting) Am Donnerstagabend, 12.07.2018 startete das ASPHALT-Festival in der Glashalle des Weltkunstzimmers mit dem Eröffnungsstück „The Fairy Queen“. Die Kooperation zwischen der Duda Paiva Company und dem Nederlands Blazers Ensemble verbindet Puppenspiel, Tanz und Gesang von vier Performenden mit den Klängen eines 14-köpfigen Orchesters und bildet so ein eindrucksvolles Gesamtes. Die Musik von Henry Purcell ist durch den Sommernachtstraum inspiriert und Parallelen zum Shakespear’schen Elfenwald und den dortigen magischen Wesen sind klar in den Figuren und der Handlung zu entdecken. Im Verlauf des Stückes entwickeln die Puppen durch das brillante Spiel der Performenden eine Lebendigkeit und Ausstrahlung, welche das Publikum in ihren Bann ziehen. Der Tanz zwischen Mensch und Figur aus Schaumstoff und die Musik sind eng miteinander verwoben und lassen anrührende, aber auch mysteriöse Szenen entstehen. Teils werden auch die Mitglieder des Orchesters ins (Puppen)spiel eingebunden, mimen Tiere des Waldes oder kommentieren die Aktionen der Figuren. Ungewöhnliche Instrumente, wie etwa eine Säge, die von einer Streicherin gespielt wird, unterstützen die bizarre Anmutung einiger Bilder. Immer wieder gibt es Gänsehautmomente, begeisterte Seufzer im Publikum oder verdienten Szenenapplaus, zum Beispiel nach dem pompösen Auftritt der drei Hexen. Die Eindringlichkeit ist den grandiosen und multitalentierten Performern und dem Orchester geschuldet. Dieser ungewöhnliche Sommernachtstraum ist ein mitreißender Einstieg in das APHALT-Festival, welches noch bis zum 22. Juli stattfindet.
