I haven’t had a chance for much of a personal reading list over the past couple of years but I am making it a point to change that! Foi o que eu senti quando li o meu primeiro livro de magia focado em bruxaria para Homens Gays. E a cada livro de bruxaria e espiritualidade Gay, Queer ou LGBT+ eu sinto cada vez mais todas essas coisas.

Witchcraft and The Gay Counterculture do lendário Arthur Evans para ver que éramos e somos mais importantes na história da magia do que os bruxs "pops" mainstream fazem parecer. Na verdade, mais do que isso, somos figuras centrais inclusive nas principais perseguições, cultos e eventos da história da bruxaria.

Gay Witchcraft -Empowering the Tribe do Christopher Penczak para listas de ervas, animais, deidades e ritos ligados ao Sagrado Gay. Acha essa coisa de Deus e Deusa heteronormativa demais? Sem problemas! Aqui ele ensina também o que se aprende em qualquer livro de bruxaria, mas vai além com outras formas mais inclusivas de girar a roda do ano e que atende ao nosso Sagrado Gay e à nossa realidade. Como um primeiro Grimório Gay é excelente!

• Garbed in Green - Gay Witchcraft and the Male Mysteries do Casey Giovinco traz aspectos de ambos os livros anteriores, mas com um enfoque especial no que pode ser percebido como o "Sagrado Masculino Gay" ou "Mistérios Masculinos". The Scarlet Wand realmente não é para os fracos, mas traz umas visões e histórias bem curiosas e diferentes sobre temas MUITO relevantes, como, por exemplo, sobre o lendário Bezerro de Ouro. Este livro traz uma oportunidade raríssima para alguém como nós, pois é como se fosse uma conversa direta com um ancião experiente que passou por muita coisa e que pode nos ensinar até sobre o que temos receio de perguntar.

Espero que esses livros tragam para você, leitor, tantas mudanças maravilhosas e empoderamento quanto eles trouxeram para mim no início da minha caminhada no meu primeiro ciclo de estudos enquanto bruxo e gay. Com eles, eu me senti abraçado de verdade pela bruxaria pela primeira vez.
