I collect enamel pins, and I love AFTG.

So a little while ago, I got the “yes or no” pin (link not working, but it’s from “godotshop” on Etsy), and I love it. (Also, my sister who has not read these books and knows nothing about them saw that pin the other day and called the Exy racquets “lacrosse sticks” and I had to be That Kid™ and correct her and try to explain lol.)

And the other day, I got the “chosen family” pin (link not working, but it’s from Pinultimate’s website) and I love it and obv it was very fitting for AFTG so I put it with the other one.

Also the other day, I got the ace colors ice cream pin (link not working, but it’s from “TheGeekStudio” on Etsy - they do ice cream with lots of different sets of pride flag colors, and they do it with books too so I got one of those too, and some other stuff too!), and I love it and it again felt very fitting for AFTG because the ace colors for Neil and the ice cream for Andrew (and I just read a couple different posts the other day about the scene where Andrew and Neil have a moment and then eat ice cream lol) so I put it with the other ones.

And then today at a booth at a little outdoor vendors/vintage/gifts market, I found the pin with the fox with a knife (link not working, but nessa.smiles on Insta), and that is PEAK AFTG, so of course I had to get it and put it with the other ones 😂😂😂

And they’re all just so cute and perfect together so I just had to share 😊

I’ve had it for a several years! Before I was thegeekstudio but when Tumblr finally freed up abandoned usernames I could drop the ‘the’. It was probably still me but I did post a lot more official merch back then. Now I try to post only artist made goodies 😊

an extensive and thorough list of lgbt+ artists to support instead of buying corporation pride gear

so @beautysnake made a very good post about promoting lgbt+ people that are selling pride gear this year and the notes are a wealth of resources and ive taken it upon myself to provide a detailed, well documented masterpost of things made by and for the lgbt+ community.

i had three criteria while making this and i ask that you follow these outlines as well if you add to this post:

the artist is NOT sketchy/creepy (fetishization, “fujoshi”, and things similar to these things being available on the artists story automatically disqualifies them)

if multiple pride flags are being sold, there MUST be a lesbian flag included. not sapphic, not wlw, but LESBIAN. preferably community, but the original works too

this is the big one, and if you contribute to this list i BEG you to pay attention. lgbt+ people of color deserve to not only be represented and celebrated in our community, but to have their content equally promoted. merch that is made by poc/includes the philadelphia flag will be bolded.

Okay so they’re also called lapel pins, but basically they’re used as like decoration for like jackets,bags/backpacks,shirts and every artist that makes them have their own variation of it. Like BTS related pins, video game related pins,etc. Lol the only reason I asked was because there’s an artist called thegeekstudio who made LGBTQ+ related pins and they had one for nonbinary and asexual amongst others and it reminded me of you. They’re also in the shape of icecream!Hope that I didn’t offend!
