A friend of mine commented that our little cresties looked like little dragons, and I thought that was kind of a perfect name for this Tumblr, so I changed the name. I apologize for any confusion.

The Little Dragon

Jenna woke up to the smell of bacon wafting into her bedroom. I️t seemed to invade her nose and wake her from her peaceful slumber. She slowly sat up and rubbed her eyes. With a large yawn and a stretch she swung her feet over the side of her bed and onto the floor.

Jenna or Jen as she liked to be called was only seven years old, but a very imaginative and smart seven. She had created wonderful stories that had the most fantastical of characters. She would spend all day playing and writing the adventures she had.

She came downstairs and saw her father making breakfast. Her mother was sitting at the table already. “There’s our sleepy little princess.” Said her mother.

“Good morning sweetie,” her father spoke gently. “How are you this morning?”

“Hungry.” Jenna exclaimed.

“Well breakfast won’t be ready for a little while, why don’t you go play for a bit.” Her father replied.

Jenna sighed, and then turned to go find her favorite toy, little stuffed lamb named Baba. She had left her in the living room so she could watch tv the night before. Baba loves cartoons and Jenna didn’t want her to miss them so she always left Baba on the couch when they weren’t playing. Jenna found her right where she had left Baba the night before.

She picked her up and head out to the backyard. Jenna was already imagining a wonderful adventure for them. They would travel through the jungle to find the lost city of gold.

Her and Baba began to journey into the big bushes in the backyard. Jenna was pretending to slash through the bush with a fake machete. Baba was in our in charge of drawing a map in case they got lost on the way.

As they journeyed through the jungle they found all sorts of bugs and heard all sorts of noises. All around them were the sounds of birds and beetles.
