August 28th

Me and Kev decided to meet up at the old Elm. I don't usually go there with other people, but he was the one who offered to come there with me. Huh, it’s like he knows it’s my favorite spot! Well, he did show it to me, after all.

When we got there, there was this awkward feeling between us. We didn’t really know what to do, and he was already looking bored out of his mind.

I scratched at the nape of my neck, with my other hand in my pocket. Then, I had an idea. I broke up the silence between us, offering an activity.

“Hey Kev.” I called out.

“Yes?” He answered, pulling his head up to look at me. I cleared my throat before suggesting:

“How about we skip rocks at the lake?”

He rubbed at his cheek, looking away for a bit awkwardly. Did he not like the idea? It made me worried. I looked off to the side too, awaiting his response.

“Well, I don’t know how to skip rocks.” He would then say. Well, whoops... I gazed at him, not really knowing how to respond. Then I stared at the tree, the old Elm. He imitated me, staring at it too.

We stared at the old Elm for a moment, and then the lake ahead of it. It was kind of awkward. I mean this whole thing was kind of just awkward. I then picked up a smooth-looking rock near the edge of the lake. It wasn’t so ideal, but there arent that many stones near Lake Isle.

I moved my stone-holding arm behind my body, but kept my shoulders and chest facing the water, and then threw the stone on the lake.

Once.. Twice.. Thrice, it skipped. Then, it landed on the other end of the lake.

Kev stared as it happened. I heard him whisper a small “Wow.” to it as well. I mean, its not really a “Wowzers”... However, it still made me happy that he was impressed with my rock-skipping skill!

“Maybe you could teach me how?” He would ask. He seemed a bit embarrassed to, though. But even if rock-skipping was quite easy, it’s not like everyone knows how to do it.

“Don’t be embarrassed! Not everyone knows how to skip stones, Brad doesn’t know how to aswell.” I would try to reassure him as I kneeled down to find a flatter, more ideal stone to skip across the lake. Then, I found this nice smooth rock with a flat bottom.

As I stood back up, I handed it to Kev, standing behind him to guide his position on how to throw it. “So, you hold it between your thumb and your middle finger, kinda like this.” I would give him a demonstration, adjusting his fingers to match how I saw it.

“And uh, put your pointer finger on top of it.” I would say, and he wrapped his finger around it. I smiled, as he readied to throw the stone now.

He would then throw the rock the second it went past his torso. Once.. Twice.. Thrice.. And... Four times, it skipped! ... I don’t think theres a continuation for ‘Thrice’. But wow. He’s better than me! The stone then landed near the old Elm, almost touching one of its roots.

I clapped my hands, smiling, “That was great, Kev!”

His cheeks seemed to flush as I said that, he followed with a chuckle, brightening up. “Thanks, Zo.” He grinned with me.

”So, wanna do it again?” I smirked.

you two were at a house party with a bunch of the other guys

kuroo knew how you acted when you had too many drinks so when bokuto called him over after the two of you had been downing drinks together he already had a water bottle prepared

when he got there you had already snuggled up to bokuto but when you heard ur friend laugh at your state you immediately looked up at him

“you’re here! do you want a drink too?” you offered your cup to kuroo with a big smile

“sure” kuroo took the cup from you, pretended to have a sip and put the cup down somewhere else

“don’t you think its time to let bokuto go now y/n” he extended his arm out for you to grab his hand

you grabbed your best friends hand and waved bokuto goodbye while following kuroo to a quieter corner of the house

once you guys sit down on the couch you immediately latched onto kuroo and began to cuddle him

kuroo could only laugh at you quietly while patting your head

he opened the water bottle and held it in front of you

you shook your head and refused to take a sip

“no more cuddling if you don’t take a sip y/n”

with a pout on your face you took a few sips of the water and then went back to cuddling him

kuroo comfortably put an arm around you and let you cuddle up to him

after a few minutes sitting like that he checked and you and noticed you had fallen asleep

he quickly took out his phone and took a few pictures of the two of you together only for blackmailing purposed of course... nothing else

IWAIZUMI

the whole of the aoba johsai team had gone on a little trip away as a reunion and as their old manager you had to go with them of course

as it was the last day of the trip you all decided to have drinks back at the place you were staying together

after being friends for years all the guys had picked up on your habit of getting clingy when you got tipsy

and when it finally got to that point iwaizumi just so happened to be sitting next to you and was the victim of your clingy drunk state

you leaned your head on his shoulder and put your arms around his bicep

he quickly looked down at you flustered since you would normally cuddle up to oikawa

“uhm y/n oikawa is on your left you got the wrong person” iwaizumi lightly shook his arm

“yea y/n im right here where are my cuddles” oikawa whined

“your arms arents as comfortable as they used to be” you said without looking in his direction

oikawa dramatically layed down acting like he just go shot

you continued to snuggle up to iwa and is this point he knew there was no getting rid of you though he was sitting very stiffly next to you

“iwa are you okay do you want me to let go” you said softly but the other guys managed to hear you and softly laughed at iwa’s tense and reddening face

“no its okay don’t worry about it y/n” he said while matsukawa and maki repeated him in a mocking voice

“i will break your legs” he mouthed to them while trying to relax himself

the night continued and you all ended up falling asleep in the living room

when you woke up you were still attached to iwaizumi’s arm, you quickly let go which ended up waking him up too

“i’m so sorry if i made you uncomfortable” you said while looking at him slowly waking up

“oh its okay uhm it was actually kinda comfortable”

you hear laughing and when you look the other way you see the rest of the team all looking at the two of you

lets just say that after that a pillow fight broke out when iwa launched all the pillow around him directly into the rest of the third years faces

TENDOU

you, your roomate tendou and some of the other guys had decided to go to a bar where semi was playing

since it was their first gig you all celebrated after he got done to congratulate him on his amazing performance

this obviously called for drinks and after a few of them you went to go dance with goshiki while the rest of the guys stayed behind

after a few minutes goshiki came back to tell tendou that some guy was hitting on you

knowing that you got quite affectionate when drunk tendou went to go looking for you on the dance floor

when he spotted you he rushed over and just started dancing next to you not trying ruin your vibe

he loomed over you and after a while the guy gave up and left so the two of you continued to to dance together and you had a great time

you eventually got tired and the both of you went back to the group

tendou sat down next to you and put an arm around you knowing it would make you more comfortable

you grabbed his hand and leaned into him

the listened to the guys talking for a bit and after an hour so you leaned up to tendou’s ear

“satori i’m getting kinda tired”

tendou just nodded and got up with his arm still around you and told the guys you two were leaving

after a short walk you guys got back to the apartment and took off your jackets

after you got rid of you jacket and shoes you went back to hugging tendou

“can we have a sleep over in the living room please” you looked up at him

“only if i can make a pillow fort” a smiled brightly

so im going to start with the most important part and that is that they do a lot of drinking this year

NEXT and this is some real tea i like to think that they dont spend the entire time staying in institutes and stay in hotels for some of the time bc peace and privacy is what they deserve

she also highkey gets julian a new international wardrobe and they literally are just the best dressed couple and theyre icons and get lots of aesthetic pics

they kiss under the eiffel tower and get such cute pics and they go to so many cute cafes and are just soft the entire time

they go to the love locks bridge and buy a lock(apparently they started taking these off irl?? doesnt matter we’re gonna pretend that’s not a thing)

they get some comments that maybe theyre a little young for this activity but can anyone find where they cared????? no

a lot of pda azsxdrcftgbh they get kicked out of at least one place in every country they go because they were making out

it doesnt stop them though they have a goal to reach

they get so many gifts for the rest of the blackthorns it isnt even funny

no really it isnt they almost ran out of money one time 

speaking of which they have the best time but by the end they miss the blackthorns and la and are ready to go back

that is not until the end though because wow in the mean time are they glad for a break

once they were at the beach in mexico and someone’s kid started crying and julian entered Dad Mode™️ before he realized

when they go to new york they have the best! time! okay

so this location in particular makes me really emo because clary always said to emma that she and julian needed to come visit and of course emma always said yeah and wanted to but she knew she never actually could but now????? SHE CAN

tmi gang + emma and julian doing patrols is something i live for 

they are having way too much fun and not paying enough attention to be doing actual patrols

clary is in love with julian and emma’s love and doesnt shut up about it

not even when they leave

he loves them but jace thinks if he hears emma or julian’s names used in the same sentence one more time he’s hauling ass to malec’s place and never looking back

i also like to think that they go to a lot of concerts bc they were always said to be singing along to the radio and all in tda so i just think that they would go to so many shows and such

also mexico w cristina and mark is a lit time but i kinda think i want to write hcs for each place so mayhaps i should save those

just all around the travel year is a party honestly

speaking of which they def go to parties and clubs and the like

emma likes it more than julian but they both arent crazy about going

they still go occasionally, though, especially if they have friends going then theyll tag along

in general they just have a great and happy time and it’s wonderful

MAMIYA: That’s pretty sudden~ The Summer Triangle constellation is uh… Altair, Vega, and… Ah, Deneb! It’s that one, right?

MAMIYA: The only thing I know about it are the stars’ names.

OUKA: I’m the same.

RUKA: Wow, you’re amazing! I didn’t even know the stars’ names!

RUKA: I only know the words “Summer Triangle”.

SHO: (chuckles) That’s exactly it.

SHO: Lyra is the constellation that’s shaped like a musical instrument. It’s the lyre that appears in Greek mythology.

SHO: The story goes is that it’s Orpheus’s lyre up in the sky.

SHO: The legend says that Orpheus went to the Underworld to reclaim his departed wife.

SHO: He offered his music to the King of the Underworld and managed to charm him.

SHO: Though, it seems like he failed with his initial plans of bringing his beloved back.

SHO: I’ve been told this story when I was young and I remember admiring the music that was supposed to have swayed even the King of the Underworld’s heart.

SHO: I just remembered that suddenly.

RUKA: I feel like Sho-kun’s violin can shake the heart of the King of the Underworld, too~

SHO: No, no. I still have ways to go.

SHO: I think that the violin is something that I still have to learn for quite a long time.

SHO: It’s never-ending and it makes me feel a bit scared but, it has its own charm, too.

OUKA: It might be quite similar to the reason why I admire the universe.

OUKA: Something that we want to chase for an eternity.

RUKA: Ah, that kind of phrasing is perfect for my ideal stars!

RUKA: Something that we admire for eternity is something that we’d yearn for for a long time!

moon elves can have blue skin (”blueish-white” according to the phb), you’re correct! green, not so much— dnd lore says their hair can be green, but not their skin. and additionally, this is not something i know for sure but i’ve heard that taako’s a sun elf (or the pre gen he came from is a sun elf) in which case. they are brown. like they’re described as bronze skinned for the most part and bronze is a shade of brown. so a flimsy sort of lore defense there but besides the lore:

it’s not even a little bit of a red flag to you that graphic novel taako specifically is not really an honest blue taako design but is a recoloured white taako? like it doesn’t at all feel like a bad copout? it doesnt feel kinda bad that they released the designs at first and people went “hey why are they literally all white” and the re-released taako design was the same design but minty green/blue instead? nothing about that bothers you or makes you uncomfortable?

i’m in no way the best person to listen to about this since i both am white and also was never very involved with the conversation on taako and race since i joined the fanbase after it had peaked, but i’d be amiss to not point out the issues other people have raised about taako being white when a character arc of his was to literally to discover mexican food— and that making him green doesn’t actually solve or even address that problem, it just kinda... deflects it

similarly, i am again, not a good person to talk to about this because i’m not jewish, but i don’t want to outright ignore that people have brought up that green skinned taako combined with a lot of other traits he tends to be given starts to border on an antisemitic caricature which is. not great

the fact that nonhuman skintones are often just basically white people but Fantasy which is displayed in, like i said before, the fact that nonhuman skintone characters are very often designed exactly like white characters in literally every single capacity aside from colour scheme

sorta shitty that you even have to refer to lore at all (not you specifically but the general you) when taz so rarely uses dnd lore. like ex. elves echolocate in taz lore. thats technically canon. its based on nothing in the phb. why is the phb the be all end all here (and i would like to say again, if we are using dnd lore, elves arent green at all, they’re pale blue at max, but w/e)

someone whose post i cant find atm made a point about how maybe we should inspect how, when questioned about making a Generic White Man(tm) a la cecil palmer effect someone canonically described as “beautiful”, people then default to giving him inhuman qualities like green or blue skin instead of just, idk, assuming brown/black (and short and fat and trans etc im quoting a specific post but i cant find it) can also be beautiful.......... maybe thats something to dissect. i cant tell if this is a full sentence im so sorry i’ve have like a full bottle of wine at this point

it’s ugly and i have good taste and this is my blog and if i want to hate on ugly character designs i will especially when so many people are insisting it counts as canon

Pinkie [chapter 3]

When they walked up the stairs to their floor, Yoongi was getting ready to take out his trash. “Hey Jimin”. Jimin’s heart stopped, but he knew after their conversation earlier, he had to start calling him by his name.  

“Hey Yoongi” Jimin squinted at the way his voice sounded so insecure. They just passed each other and went their separate ways. When they made it into the room, Jimin let out a huge breath.

“That was crazy… did you see that?” Taehyung was pretty amused, to say the least. “You guys literally only said hi to each other..” Jimin threw a pillow Taehyung's way and got him right in the face.

“Better than nothing amiright?”

It's now Saturday afternoon and it's Jimin day off. He usually sleeps in as long as he can, or takes as many naps as he can. He’d be napping right now if it weren't for his loud neighbors. Most saturdays, Yoongi and his roomate seemingly have a few friends over and it's always pretty loud. He didn't mind much, unless he was trying to nap like now, but Jimin’s grateful this is a once a week type of thing and not every night, so he doesn't get mad, just decides he's done napping and climbs out of bed. It's better if he does something productive anyway. He barely made it to his dresser when there was a knock on his door. He quickly grabbed the closest sweatpants and ran to the door, assuming to find Taehyung. They always try to find a way to see each other on days off, but when Jimin opened his front door, shirtless and sporting some bad bed head, all he saw was “Yoongi hyung?” Yoongi tried his damn hardest not to let his eyes go where they wanted to go. It was LITERALLy painful keeping control of himself.

“Hey Jimin, morning, did I wake you?” he was dressed in light wash skinny jeans and a big black zip up hoodie and Jimin couldn't but stare. He looked so comfortable and simple but so fucking hot.

“No, not at all, what's up?”

“Well uh, I have a couple friends over right now and were just kind of doing karaoke and drinking and.. well do you wanna maybe come hang out?” Jimin was ecstatic at the invitation but laughed.

“You guys start drinking this early??” Yoongi smiled at the giggling Pinkie and pulled out his phone to check the time.

“I mean it's past 2 so..” Jimin laughed again “yeah I think I’d really like that” When silence fell between them again Jimin suddenly remembered he was shirtless and crossed his arms. “I'll be over in a second I need to change” he laughed awkwardly and didn't give a Yoongi a chance to respond and just shut his door.

“Okay breathe. Breathe. Call Tae. Tae will help.” He quickly dialed his best friends number and jogged in place nervously.

“TAE TAE TAE TAE TAE” Jimin yelled when he finally picked up. “Oh my god what??”

“HEINVITEDMEOVERTOHANGOUTWITHHISFRIENDSANDDRINKBEERSANDIMGOINGOVERWHATDOIDO?”

“Okay… uh. So you're gonna go hang out with him and his friends.. In his house?”

“YES. NOW HELP.”

“Okay, but calm down first. What are you going to wear??” Jimin was raking through his hangers trying to find something. “I don't know Tae I was kinda hoping you'd HELP ME” Taehyung laughed, “Wear your ripped skinny jeans and a black t-shirt, don't overthink it. You're only going over to hangout so just dress comfortably.” Jimin let out a breath.

“Thanks, I seriously can't think at all right now.”

“No problem just remember, be yourself and stay calm.” Tae always has the best advice. Jimin feel 200% better as he hangs up with Taehyung and yanks his clothes out of the closet. He laid it out all on the bed and stared at it thinking, ‘now how can I make this sexier?’ He suddenly remembered the thin leather choker Tae bought him for his birthday last year. He's never really had a reason to wear it until now. Once he was fully dressed he smiled at himself in the mirror and slipped his converse on. It took him way too long to knock on Yoongi's front door but once he did, it was opened almost immediately revealing a very drunk looking friend of his.

“Oh hey you're Jimin. Come on in Yoongi is peeing.” Jimin laughed at his words walked came in holding a bottle of wine that's been sitting in his cabinet for too long. The first thing he sees when he walks in is a big comfy couch with a hyper ass boy jumping on it singing Bboom bboom by Momoland at full volume. The man who opened the door for him quickly got his attention back though when he hears a “damn your ass IS fucking great” from behind him. His eyes widened and he turned to look at him but Yoongi was pulling Jimin by the arm.

“Don't listen to Hoseok. He's already an idiot but when he's drunk there's no telling what he'll say.” Jimin tried to pay attention to his words but all he could seem to focus on was the burning feeling he felt on his wrist where Yoongi was still holding him. He must've noticed Jimin absence because suddenly Yoongi let go “sorry”. Jimin silently gasped.

“What? No it's okay, sorry, I was just uh distracted by what your friend said.” Yoongi's eyes narrowed, “What did he say to you?”

“Oh? I thought you heard him, it's not a big deal.”

“I didn't hear, I only mentioned him having a big mouth because I half expected him to hit on you.” Jimin flushed up a little at that, not knowing if he should tell Yoongi that's exactly what he did. Yoongi caught on.

“Oh shit, he did. What did he say? Did he make you uncomfortable??” Jimin smiled at his protective tone but decided not to overthink it.

“He just said, “damn your ass IS fucking great” but it's fine, it's kinda nice to hear that my ass is great. And He's your friend so I'm sure he's harmless, right?”

“He said… what?” Yoongi looked more than irritated but swallowed it down. “No you're right, he's harmless, but he's also taken, so.” Jimin’s heart sank. Taken by who? You?

“OH cool no don't worry I wasn't gonna go after him, I was just caught off guard a little, I uh don't want your man I promise.” Yoongi felt a twist in his tummy. He told him that so he wouldn't try to get with him, not so he'd think Yoongi was his boyfriend. He wanted to explain that they in fact aren't dating but a very buzzed Bboom Bboom boy ran up to the pair with two beers.

"You haven't started drinking yet??? Come on come on they have Big Bang!!!” He yanked Jimin to the TV, despite not even knowing his name, and put on If You. Bboom Bboom boy was very tipsy already but Jimin wasn't so he took a second to chug his beer and set it aside. If he's about sing in front of his crush, he's doing it at least one beer in. The intro played through and Bboom Bboom boy started out very soft and emotional. Wasn't he just jumping around two minutes ago? Jimin sang his part and got so lost in it that he forgot Yoongi was watching him, four feet away on the couch. Some time when it wasn't his part, Hoseok handed him another beer, and before he knew it, the slow song was over and him and Bboom Bboom boy were jumping around screaming the lyrics to Cherry Bomb. Yoongi sat there with a grin plastered on his fact, he's glad Jimin gets along with his friends, and he's hoping that means he’ll come back soon. Hoseok was next to him on the couch, but was still too plastered to function. He just sat there laughing and dancing in his seat.

“Jesus christ he's hot” Hoseok spewed out, eyeing Jimin who's still dancing around and laughing and drinking. Yoongi knew he was drunk so instead of snapping like he wanted to he just took a deep breath and agreed.

“Yeah, he is.” In less than 20 minutes, Bboom Bboom boy who, at some point during the last song, introduced himself as joonie, was now on his back out of breath. Jimin just laughed and turned to look at Yoongi but only saw a passed out Hoseok with a beer that was ready to spill. Jimin found him in the kitchen, rummaging the fridge for a drink.

“Thank you for inviting me tonight, I'm having a lot of fun. Your friends are nice.” Jimin giggled and swooshed the beer in his hand around. Yoongi met him at the kitchen counter with two fresh beers. “I'm glad you're having fun” he sipped from his bottle and an awkward silence fell over them. They both had something to say but had no idea how to say it.

“Me and Hoseok arent-”

“I'm sorry im always-” They spoke at the same time, cutting eachother off. They both laughed at the situation, but did it again.

“I'm sorry-”

“You first-” They stayed quiet for a second and Jimin just cutely pointed at him to suggest he starts. The elder chuckled, ‘how much cuter can he get?’ he thought.

“I was just gonna say that Hoseok and I aren't together.. kinda seemed like you thought that earlier” he fiddled with the cold bottle in his hand. Jimin's heart swelled, ‘oh thank fucking god’ he thought, but he just says “OH sorry for assuming.. thats rude haha”

“What were you gonna say?” Jimin suddenly regretted speaking before, because now it’s his turn.

“Oh it's nothing I just wanted to apologize.. for always running away. You're not a scary guy, you're really nice..” Yoongi took a sip from his drink to give him the courage he was lacking.

“I forgive you.. but can I know why? If not because I'm scary then why? I mean.. it's been two years, Jimin.”

“I know, I know, and I'm sorry, I'm such a shitty neighbor I just-” he stopped talking to chug the rest of his beer.

“Listen, I'm not very confident okay? so when I see someone who I'm attracted to, I tend to take the fuck off instead of talk to them” Yoongi's face had changed at some point from a confused expression to one that Jimin couldn't figure out.

“Attracted to?” Jimin didn't bring his head up but just nodded.

“So… the reason you haven't talked to me for a full ass two years.. is because you're attracted to me??” Jimin took a deep breath. He really didn't wanna ruin this new friendship. He nodded again, and for a good 30 seconds, neither of them said a word. and apparently it was long enough for Hoseok to stumble into the kitchen and interrupt.

“GUYS namjoon passed out and I can't carry his heavy ass by myself please help me”

2: Talk about your first kiss.my first kiss came from my first big romantic fuck up. not that i had any chance to have a ‘big romantic fuck up’ prior but nevertheless.i came back from a swim club social a little more drunk then I should’ve (don’t mix drinks kids, it fucks you up quicker). anyway he slept in my bed that night (as he had the night previous and i think one or two other times before). i mentioned that since i was drunk, im more prone to stupid decisions so he’s free to take advantage of it.so then he asked if he could kiss me and we made out.yeah that relationship lasted only three months but damn i fucked up getting into that relationship… made the end of my first term of college kinda shitty now im just doing my best to avoid him as we live on the same hall (another tip kids, dont get in a relationship/fuck someone in the same hall as you)

7: Talk about your biggest insecurity.hmmmm…. iunno. my insecurities arent really always obvious and they inda just bleed into my life very casually. i guess i have some of the stereotypical ones around my weight/shape to an extent, my skin, my height.

14: Talk about a vacation.i went to ireland this summer and it was absolutely gorgeous. the irish country side is amazing. the drinking age is amazing. olafur arnalds, mum, and sigur ros were the soundtrack to the misty countryside. i really would love to back to kerry and killarney.

17: Talk about someone you want to be friends with.im shit at making friends online and then keeping them. i think @robertbobberson is my closest internet friend? but itd be cool if i was friends/better friends with @princuwu, @lxcuna, @philosophium, and @archistratego bc they are all amazing and cool people on hereedit: I FORGOT @therepublicofletters IM SO SORRY ILY EMMA (maybe its because we meet irl so i forgot we were internet friends first lol)

24: Talk about something someone told you that meant a lot.just recently, when discussing reasons why i should get my ass to counseling, my new friend said that ‘i want my friends to better themselves because i care about them and want to see them do better’ and that meant a lot to hear that from him, particularly because he’s the type of person who can sometimes come off as… not uncaring but not exactly the type of person to say something like that either.

So here is my i guess merge confessional! LOOK WHAT I DID! I MADE THE MERGE HEHEHEHEHEHEHE. Voting cindi out last round was very sad but very needed, i think she was looking to have fun and cause chaos but i need some stability in my life rn, crackhead seamus has not came out yet and he can’t yet LMAO. so what happened is as soon as we merged Szymon approached me and wanted to call, and pretty much went on a rant about how annoying Rob is and how everyones so far up his ass, and that HE HAS THE IDOL!!!! And that Szymon wants me daisy and jules to start working together which i was like OH I LIKE THIS. Going into merge i wanted to reconnect with rob, and then keep my alliances with daisy and gage and try and just use them as shields to get into deep merge and then start causing shit.

In terms of my thoughts on everyone…. Gage i am very torn about. Because he is the person i am closest to on a personal level but i think game wise he just is rlly desperate to not lose. I offered him a f2 on our last tribe which i do intend on keeping my word on, but then as soon as we merge i just felt kinda off about him? And he formed a new alliance with Szymon Rob and Conor and didnt say nothing to me or tried to include me. Szymon leaked it tho and so im like oh ok i see i see. I think he is trying to have his hand in everyones cookie jar, but knowing he wants everything is off putting from an ally stance. But also last night he opened up a bit with me and i think he genuinely does wanna work with me, just perhaps not with Daisy. so i am trying to figure out like what is the right move with Gage, is he someone who can actually commit? and will he defend me if people like rob or conor suggest voting me? idk, but i hope he would.

Daisy: my relationship with Daisy is really strong. I think we have a lot in common personally and game wise we mesh really well. Coming in from embb10 i wasnt sure how we would work together but so far so good. everyday she makes me laugh and i want to keep working with her. Supposedly people are painting us two as a duo but i also think if people targeted us they would choose Daisy over me at this point which means i can embrace and keep working with her however openly i wish. Daisy i think also wants to more so work with Szymon and Jules which is fine by me. I think us 3/4 can work really well, it’s just about finding the right time to possibly take a shot at someone.

Szymon: i wasnt sure how i felt about Szymon at the beginning. Sometimes i thought he was annoying, other times i just thought he was being himself which i sometimes just dont vibe with. But him being really honest about his opinions with people shows that he actually is someone i can work with. i am a blunt person and when others are willing to throw mud too, it means we can work well together. I think he is very eager to vote out Rob and also doesnt want to work with Gage which i’m not 100% sure what my plan is yet regarding both.

Rob: rob is a big threat but only because he is so blatantly talking to everyone. dont get me wrong Rob is a great guy, but he isn’t a great ally just because he talks to me. I also know that he has the idol and clearly I aint the top of his ally list since he didnt include me in the one with gage szymon and conor and he also didnt tell me about his idol. Also every inactive person talking to him is not good bc i dont want his farmer ass to let his sheep target me. I think Rob may go home very early and he wont even see it coming.

chips/brandan: we arent working together. that’s about it.

Conor: we became a bit closer during the swap but i certainly wouldnt say he is an ally. more like a neutral friend. i think conor plans on working with gage/rob/szymon. which doesnt include me. But i dont think he has many other connections such as with dylan or daisy or jules. so im not sure how much he’ll be doing anytime soon.

Lovelis: he seems pretty inactive. itll be interesting to see if i can use our pre-established friendship to kinda pull him in and work with him but i also dont know who he plans on working with or doing. very nice and everyone agrees when he is on he is fun to talk to, its just about activity levels and trying to see if he actually is here to play or not.

Dylan: I LIKE DYLAN. BUT HE ALSO LEFT ME ON READ FOR LIKE 16 HOURS NOW LMAO. He was super fun to talk to on our tribe game night, and then in pms but then he kinda ghosted me but continued to talk in the tribe chat. granted i got rlly sloppy drunk last night so when he was free to talk more i wasnt ;/ So ill be interested to see if we can keep vibing, im defnitely open to working with him bc he seems like he would be fun to strategize and work with, but we aren’t necessarily at that point yet.

Jules: juuuules!!!!! amazing, fantastic, the best. but also not the most active. im interested in working with her and i think she appreciates me being crazy and i appreciate her being crazy too. also she is the main reason i won this challenge SOOOOOO. I think me szymon and daisy have a great opportunity to work with her and form a tight 4 if thats the path we choose to go down. Jules is here for fun and to socialize with people and i think some people are off putted by that but i thinks its fine, i just hope we have fun doing crazy stuff together and not against one another :D

SO I WON IMMUNITY! HEHEHEHEHEHEHE WHICH IS KINDA EMBARRASING SINCE I ONLY ASKED 2 PEOPLE FOR THEIR WORDS, AND THEN DAISY/JULES/SZYMON GAVE ME THE REST. Honk honk i love sharing, this is what communism is all about! But being immune first is kinda a great thing because it really puts you in a firm spot and allows/forces people to strategize with you. since i am unsure if i can attend tribal/live night it also provides some much needed security early on. i am hoping chips goes home at this first tribal which seemingly everyone is on board with. And then id prefer brandan or lovelis to go in live night. But i think Szymon and Daisy will want to vote for Rob. I am not sure if i want to take that shot yet because it might hurt my chances of working with Gage, but also leaves several more inactive people in. if i was confident people like lovelis and brandan would follow rob out the door that would be one thing, but i think it would make people like conor/gage possibly start targeting szymon/daisy/myself and that isnt a good thing. especially if we can wait to f9, and have 5 directly on rob and he goes home and then theres less potential for us getting outvoted

I know I have been sending only really text confessionals right now and I am REALLY sorry about that, since pretty much a lot of my life has FINALLY FUCKING CLEARED UP I can actually start doing them, butttt since I'm a procrastinator on all sense of the word I'm just gonna type something here and be done with it okay?

Anyways, MERRRRGGGEE! I am fucking SHOCKED that I have made it this far. Keep in mind I really don't think that I would have had any issues getting to the merge keep in mind. Other than the shit I was going through early game and then with some other stuff I feel relatively blessed to be here. I made some connections on my swapped tribe which helped me stay around, and then afterwards I pretty much like... I'm here! I wanted to try and win as many challenges as I could just to help me get by, but then again I'm not the most TALKATIVE person in the world so whatever, I'm planning on fixing that now.

ANYWAYS going into live night I am worried. I was playing three games at once including this WHILE working and BEFORE I got COVID so that was.... okay that wasn't really that fun but still WHATEVER I TRIED GURL OKAY? And from the looks of it the first round should be easy with a relative chips boot which I am fine with. The second round though? That's where the primary issue lies. The only name I heard relative to that is potentially lovealis which I am down with. I got Jules who is a Brandan STAN, my Coco loco alliance with daisy/szymon, and other connections I have made with people like rob. Since after Chips leaves we're in the Final 10 during live night that's easier for my mental sanity. and with me/daisy/szymon/rob/jules, that is already HALF the votes. So I feel... good.

I did not succeed at the social queen immunity.

I was told the vote would be me... so I packed my bags.

Then... a LONG time later they want to blindside Rob. I say okay, I'm down knowing I trust no one so trying to hold on to my smallest sliver of hope that this isn't an elaborate lie.

has a lot (like a LOT) of one piece figurines nd plushies….. as well as a lot of regular stuffed animals everywhere…….

he works as a singing instructor and his students always get him stuffed animals because he always mentions he likes them, so it’s like….. he has a bookshelf full of stuffed animals and then there are a couple of books just hanging out

if u looked at his apartment you would probably think it was a teenagers but nope, it’s lee jaehwan’s and he’s a full fledged adult!!!!!

spends his nights watching comedy shows and probably attends a monthly comedy workshop where he’s the youngest student and all the old men are like “not bad jaehwan” when he does his mosquito imitation

he loves humor!!!!!! he loves to laugh!!!!!! he tries out the gags he learns on taekwoon and he gets totally shut down it’s ……. well it’s not surprising at all really

ken doesn’t live in the same apartment building as you, but he lives in the one right next door to yours and your living room balconies are only a few feet apart

it took some while getting used to because the two of you are sort of all up in each others business, but your rent is pretty low so honestly it’s worth it

you don’t talk to each other often, but every week or so you end up hanging up the laundry at the same time as jaehwan and he really likes to talk……. so you’ll get in small conversations but you wouldn’t consider yourself friends or anything??

but you kind of wish you were……… because he’s so bright and cheerful and cheesy but in a good way, and you really like to see him rushing around his apartment doing something or another while you’re eating your dinner!!! he just has such a lively energy! and it’s hard not to like him

whenever you catch his eye through your window he waves super enthusiastically and it makes you smile

and honestly jaehwan also really likes to see you snuggled up and watching your dramas…… like the reason you accidentally catch his eye a lot is because he finds it hard to not steal a couple of glances at you when you’re in his eye sight !

he keeps trying to come up with excuses to talk to you or go over to your apartment, but because you’re in different complexes it just feels weird and even he isn’t outgoing enough to go over and try to figure out your apartment number

until one particularly windy day a freak underwear accident happens!!!!!!! fate is real folks

he just did his laundry and a bunch of his underwear (and other clothes but mostly his underwear) are hanging outside to dry and you have your balcony door open because you like the fresh air

but apparently jaehwan didn’t pin his laundry up well enough because suddenly this intense gust of wind catches them and pretty much propels most of his underwear into your apartment

So I wake up to see all is well. Nothing has happened much. Then Evan comes here asking me if I voted JJ and questioning me with all kinds of shit. The kid is legit panicking because from what Tom told me, he was the last to know of the flip against JJ. So now Evan thinks he’s at the bottom and is sweating bricks. my coming out story (its kinda odd)

okay so just some background, me and my dad have a super strong relationship like hes probably one of my best friends and im his favorite child (its obvious). also im a girl (in case u didnt know).

basically ever since i was a little kid i loved boys. when i was like four i told a waiter at a restaurant that i thought he was handsome, and there were so many other stories my grandparents/parents have told me since i was little about my love for boys. elementary school was pretty ordinary. i was one of those 4th/5th grade hoes who was a serial dater and dated all the boys in the class. like obv those arent real relationships or anything, but i was boy crazy from a very young age.

after i finished elementary school, i started going to a private school for middle school, starting in 6th grade (mainly because my bff was going there but my parents liked that i was gonna be in an upscale and controlled environment or whatever idk). i continued my boy crazy ways in middle school but this is the first time i really remember being into girls. i was the new kid (the school went from pre-nursery which is like for 2 year olds up until 12th grade so many people have been there all their lives) so i was meeting everyone in my grade of like 25 kids for the first time. i was like entranced by these two girls who i’ll call catherine and jessica. they were just both so pretty and i was just in love with them. through my people-pleasing ways i managed to become really close friends with the two of them (again, the grade had 25 kids, so it wasnt hard making friends). nothing really ever happened with them, but this is when i started thinking it was possible i wasnt fully straight. also, around this time i discovered porn lol, and i started becoming fascinated with just girls. however, i still refused to admit i was anything but straight (this probably is because when i was a little kid we had a lesbian in my family but my family didnt know if id understand what that meant so they told me that it was normal for girls to be attracted to other girls soooo i think my young brain just couldnt comprehend that even more)

eventually at the end of 7th grade i started wanting to leave private school just because i missed all my old friends so i went back to my public school for 8th grade. early in 8th grade i started reconnecting with my old friends from elementary school, and at lunch i reconnected with this girl who ill call wanda (im trying to keep the names somewhat similar and she had a weird W name im sorry lmao). me and wanda ended up becoming super close, and she introduced me to her whole friend group. they were all super beautiful girls, kinda like those cliche gorgeous girls u see in movies. 

as we got older, our “clique” kinda got stronger and stronger, and when we got to high school we befriended two new girls who were equally gorgeous. me and wanda had become best friends at this point too. when i was in high school i guess u could say i was a party girl. my friend group partied a lot, but like mostly with other groups. and basically all of us had boyfriends a lot of the time, but i knew deep down that i was really attracted to wanda and i wished that i could date her. also, at this age i knew what bisexuality was and probably knew that was what i am, but it was like trendy to call the ugly girls lesbians with these girls i was friends with (ik its horrible), so i was scared to really say anything about it.

junior year i was dating this guy who we’ll call eric. i was kinda a terrible girlfriend, and eric ended up dumping me because of this. and so afterwards we went out to a party and me and wanda both got pretty fucked up. we went into some bedroom together and just started joking about how we were done with boys (her and her bf had recently split too) and she was like “lol what if i kissed u”. so basically we kissed, and then we both started doing that annoying drunk laughing about how we were “lesbians”. we did some other stuff too and that was that.

afterwards, we both knew we did stuff the night before and i think each of us were happy about it, but we thought the other would be ashamed so we were super awkward. eventually she just texted me and tried to be cool about it and joked around or whatever. but eventually we decided that there was actually something more to this and decided to go out on a “date”. as i was walking out the door that night my dad asked me where i was going so i told him i was going on a date, and he asked me what his name was, so i just said “her name”. he was a little shocked i could tell, but all he said was just “oh okay, have fun”. idk why i was so upfront like that cuz that really isnt like me at all, but im happy i was.

anyways so me and wanda like lowkey dated in the closet for a month, but it wasnt anything serious and i think both of us were kinda just hurting from getting dumped. we ended up deciding to just be friends but things were weird because we were the only ones who knew what had happened between us and everyone in school thought we were just bffs. i never actually came out publicly, in high school. during my senior year i found a new friend group and was open about being bisexual with them and it wasnt a big deal or anything, but i never publicized it to the whole school. when i went to college i started introducing myself openly as bisexual. i never really told my family about it but they all either know via my dad (hes a loudmouth) or have no reason to know until i begin a real relationship with a girl. 

honestly this story is pretty underwhelming now that ive written out the whole thing im so sorry for wasting ur time. also if ur wondering if ive ever been with girls after this, yes i have but i havent dated any (im willing if i find the right one though lmao).

Rides on 2/1/19-2/2/19

I find coming of age in america as a Black male to be quite the experience. A life thats rathe overly sexualized and comes with many stereotypes and assumptions. Cant say its a eye opener last night but rather a further confirm on feelings and visions I have around people that aren’t POC or in the area. I had around 4 trips with Uber specifically that I can recall that were very very weird and tension filled.

First comes with this couple that I picked up in West Hollywood. White male and Asian woman. They get in and I do my usual greeting of “Hello, How are you doing tonight?”, with their response either being “Good” or “Good and you?”. Pending the two you can assume who wants a conversation or not. Pretty clear, I’d assume. Anyways the car goes quiet to the music playing in the background and literally next thing is the two are seriously making out right in my mirror less than a foot away from me. Awkward, sure. First time of this.. No! This making out is pursued by and silence and the two are texting each other as a way of communication between making out, of which is only broken by the fact that the ordered an Uber Express and had another pickup. (basically a carpool). Which here is where we pick up 2 more asian women which out the blue the couple in the back then turn into the biggest socialites to walk the earth. New energy and a easy spark for conversation. Which either I from my assumption is they either sexualizing a ride with me in the vehicle and the face they show the world appeared when the others got in. The 2 women were dropped off first to that point, the couple then start having a chat outloud. Amongst the eavesdropping I’m trying my best not to do. This guys starts ranting to this woman about him being on Bumble and that he uses it as a means to have men send him money, which she laughs. He then explains that he talks to older men and in return they send him money. I can only assume he’s been enticed to go further than internet talking if he’s willing to consider chatting with grown men to get money out of them. After I try to truly tune them out and drop them off at the destination.

Next trip is 3 very nervous and young gold diggers, which i assume, of course. So its raining and already rather cold all day being its winter time. But these are the types of women that dress a bit “sexy” if you liked to call it that. Pretty much the less they can wear the more eyes on them. Anyways I pull up to a bar called “The Nice Guy”. As some may be familiar. So La Cienaga is took up by valet cars and I have to park on the side street which is maybe 20-30 feet from the door. Anyways Im called and asked to pull closer being its raining and they’re in heels. (Rain was in the weather report all week) anyways they make the run for the car screaming and get in the back seat. One of my policies is that when people get in the car, if they all get in the backseat, they want to keep amongst themselves. Being if anyone wanted to get to know you, they’d sit in the front. Ive rode with Lyft and Uber and always sit in the front seat and chat with my drivers, simple human etiquette. (Ill get back to this). So we start heading to the next destination which is the girls heading to another party of sorts or finding something to occupy themselves from themselves. Which on the way Im lodge into a superficial realm of these 3. Some womanese that Im becoming more fluent with and they make subtle ways to let me know that they are very much looking for drugs. And willing to have sex with those that have them, simply because they do. I kinda have a Baby Driver thing going on where people think Im “sleep” or dead on the inside. But I just know a lot of battles arent worth the $4-$20 dollar trips. So ones steady making snorting noises and rambling about skiing. (obvious someone snorts coke). And one persist on a story to her friends that she was in a bathtub with a football player and her bf. And the football player tried to fuck her in front of her boyfriend. Which Im sure she probably would’ve allowed. Im assume it stays in her mind being she wanted it. Otherwise the memory would fade. So then my spider sense gets to tingling that these chicks are getting made because I’m not talking to them and assuming that I want to fuck them. When actually Im so turned off by their superficial minds that I’m trying to tune them out completely. By the way, There is a new Broly graffiti painting on Melrose where Gohan was that I have to take for a secret instagram account.

Third on this trip is literally a trip after the gold diggers. Where I’m at the Argyle and i pick up this guy or transgendered. I assume being he was in full on make up and and very tight clothing almost couldve passed for a woman. So heres what I mean, you sit in the front if you want to know your driver. The rider, simply gets in the front seat and gives me a smile and we head to their destination. Now Im not an idiot, I understood that I could’ve done anything I wanted with this person. They sat there rather quiet just waiting on me to make a move. But I didn’t want to give in to a moment of being horny and just using a body. So I don’t make conversation for the understanding that I know thats where the person wanted it to go. Upon reaching the destination I just with the person a good night. They give me a deep gaze and a smile and a hesitation to leave my car but finally do. Sorry to disappoint.

Last but not least comes around 2:30am-ish. Im in mid city and pick up a american. He has a destination set but when he gets in he tells me he is changing the destination and needs to stop at a gas station. Upon which he passes me a $20 bill and says thanks. I make a stop across the street at a 7/11. and he offers me a water or something out the store which i tell him, “no, thank you. I have a gatorade.” Tell me why this guy comes back with a Fiji water for me. Next were back on the road and he offers me gum. Which i keep 2 packs in my center counsel. So to be nice to his generosity I accept. Which he goes onto a story about this girl were picking up. Tells me that they’re friends and he was taking her back to his place. Okay here on out, I can totally be having this all happen in my imagination, but things get weird. So he ask me to let me know if she’s hot when we pick her up. I can’t really fathom why he cares what another man thinks about a woman he’s potentially going to fuck. (its almost 3am-ish on a Friday.. c’mon son). I had recently watched Hitch so in my head I’m wanting to tell the guy. She already choose to pick him, but its on him to not fuck it up. Anyways we approach and low and behold is this tanned blonde with these amazing legs and great body. I admit before she gets in that she’s hot. So she gets in and this is another weird thing I picked up. The guys demeanor changed. He went from talking slang and being all masculine to being almost the opposite and high pitched. They start conversing about her night which she was with 3 guys all night to which, in her words, she didn’t want to have sex with because they were too fucked up and drunk driving. Womanese on the other hand started ringing off things with my spider senses. That this chick wanted to get fucked and this guy wanted to share her with me or watch me fuck her. (Im learning the cuckold is real in this country). They start rambling on about small talk about a guy being able to fuck girls at this hour just by telling them to come over. But at this point were approaching the destination and its getting quiet. Im paying it no mind but do understand its quiet. To pulling up and the girl gets out without a word and the guy thanks me for the ride, hesitate to get out and seeming disappointed. I truly felt like the dude try to buy my will or ease me into being of sexual use for them for the night.

With the way these nights go, I can’t help but get a intuitive feel that either people want to sexualize things or they find the black man irresistible. Media outlets cover us like were things to have. Porn, Athletes, Music, Entertainers. And a ever increasing broadcasting of everything interracial on TV and Movies. I even myself have been on the end of being worshipped for being a black man. I try to leave myself out of these equations in these trips. Dismissing that its all in my head and its not happening for me. But on a night to night basis I’m lodge into this pull that people want to devour me for being this black man I am. I roam around this city a lot. And Outside the “hood” and predominately black neighborhoods and areas or urban venues. I see sprinkles of likeness when out and about. And a vast majority they are workers or a seldom few here and there. So theres always a thought that Im that one different thing that happens to be in the vicinity. That must be had. But hey..
