hello since you guys are a new blog i wanted to request. Can i have separate headcanons of mikey, the kawata twins, baji and mitsuya with a male s/o who takes the dominant role in the relationship. Hes also a really badass fighter and has a really scary reputation thats makes people afraid of him but is really chill and more like a himbo.

mikey would be the one who wants to be pampered by you all the time. always asking for piggy-back rides/asking you to carry him, basically clinging to you everytime he’s with you. you're basically the new draken once you start dating lmao he isn’t scared of pda at all so expect a lot of that too especially when you’re the one being intimate in public. he’s not the type to get embarrassed easily but when it’s with you..oh boy..just grab his wrist and pull him into a hug and he’s already red as hell (the others will tease him if they see you especially draken and baji). he likes how intimidating you're to other people but also gets jealous when you get way too much attention lol if anyone looks at mikey in a bad way you just glare at them and they're already walking away in fear. loves it when you take him out to eat to your fav place and actually falls asleep on you. everyone in the gang who doesn't know you is actually really scared of you but it changes once you brought food to a meeting. (everyone loved it)

he thinks you're really cool when you fight and actually looks up to you in a way. when he sees you fighting it gives him so much energy that he's next to you in a second throwing punches as well. he loves it when after a fight with another gang you're all over him checking him for any injuries and taking care of him if he got hurt. (he deserves all the love tbh:(<3) he will fake being hurt just to be carried.

souya:

i think he's a very shy person when he's with you especially at the beginning of your relationship. the same as mikey, he's the youngest sibling and he loves to be pampered but doesn't really show it. grab his hand in public and he's gonna be a shy blabbering mess, he doesn't know where to look or what to say he's so embarrassed😭 nahoya will make fun of him if he catches you two and souya's face gets even more red if that's possible and since he's too shy to hold hands he just follows you around like a puppy or just holds your pinkie. your reputation comes in handy since i feel like he's not really a social person and hates being at the center of attention, so people usually stay away from you.

he absolutely adores how strong you're and thinks you're amazing and would love to have you teach him some moves! secretly loves it but pretends to be annoyed when you just show up at his house and take him for a ride not taking no as an answer. hug him from behind when you're in private and he will melt.

mitsuya:

now for the love of god please take this boy to your house at the weekends for a day long cuddling session cuz he needs. a. break. don't get me wrong he loves his sisters more than anything but he really needs someone to look after him too. (and that's why you're here) loves to go shopping with you for fabrics and going out to eat to a nearby restaurant that you choose everytime. not gonna lie he was scared shitless when he first met you but that image of you quickly shattered when you used a corny pick-up line on him when he bumped into you and yeah you've been dating ever since lmao the first time he took you home his sisters were hiding at his legs and the next second you showed them the stuffed toys you bought them they were all over you. luna and mana loves you sm tbh you always bring them candy (without mitsuya knowing ofc) and they just love the headpats you give them. once he was in the kitchen preparing dinner for you guys (you were sleeping over) and found you and his sisters on top of you sleeping on the floor, he took a polaroid of you and has it hanged up in his room.

he loves how you're more than capable of protecting yourself and actually wants you to teach him so he can get stronger. even though he knows you're strong he still worries but when you just flash him your stupid smile it all goes away. (he also blushed but looked away.)

nahoya:

i just know he would show you off to everyone. he's so proud of you and he wants everyone to know how amazing you are:( also i feel like he would use you to treathen people?? "do you have any idea who my boyfriend is? don't make me tell him to-" you would have to cover his mouth in embrassement and apologize to the poor guy who accidentally bumped into smiley and made him fall. i like to imagine that he's clingy as hell, especially when you're around others. you can't get him off of you because he constantly wants to hold your hands, ask for headpats maybe even climb on your back and clinge to you like a koala. (please do give him headpats he will melt on the spot). he just wants to show off his love for you to the others:(

his poor brother was literally shitting his pants when you first joined the gang, meanwhile nahoya was basically all over you, asking things like "where did you learn to fight?","can you teach me some moves??", basically smiley being the social butterfly he is.

he's overall so so proud of you and looks up at you so much. he loves how you're independent and that you can protect yourself and others, it makes him feel at ease!

baji:

to be honest he didn't like you at the start when he met you. he imagined you as a person full of himself because he's stronger than others. he was really avoidant of you, maybe even suspicious that you want something from the gang. but when he saw you play with some kittens at his usual spot where he was feeding the stray cats?? oh boy that man literally fell in love with you, he just didn't want to admit it yet. from that day you two would usually go and hang out around that spot, just talking about meaninlgess things and playing with the kittens. and when you planned a cat cafe date with him as your first one, he never thought he can fall even harder for you.

i like to imagine that when baji does something stupid the gang is calling you immediately, half of them already has your number saved just in case 💀. he hates to admit it but he loves pda, he's just too shy to ask for it and likes to play the though guy. but when you take his hand in your's around the others?? he would be a stuttering and blushing mess.

he thinks you're the coolest person he ever met, even if he had his doubts in the beginning. you're like his role model, he always tells you how you take out the best of him. i feel like he has a hard time showing his emotions, but he loves you and is really proud of you!:)

A Happy future au would be one where Takemichi opens a cat coffee next to Chifuyu pet shop and with Kazutora who spend half of his work time with one, and the other half with the other. They would be the Ultimate Trio. Everyone in the former Toman 1/2 comes to drink a coffee and play with the cat. Sanzu is in prison so he can't come. And Mikey eats homemade taiyaki in his corner, with a purring cat on his knees.(purring therapy works well on him)

I can see Kazutora now, everytime he gets an annoying customer or a bad job in one shop he switches over to the other. I'm pretty sure he's also catnapping the cats from Takemichi's place to show to Chifuyu whenever he switches, so they can coo over the cute cats together.

Everyone would love the cat cafe, Yuzuha and Hakkai stop by whoever they're around. The twins suggest Takemichi adds ramen to the cafe menu (Takemichi always denies), Hina's students regularly visit, Senju drags Takeomi there (since her other brother is locked up). Luna and Mana take Mitsuya there to make sure he gets breaks in between his work, Koko and Inui end up sharing their first proper kiss there (after a misunderstanding with a cat). And Pah and Peh sometimes choose to have business meetings there.

I feel like others would turn up too just because chaos follows Takemichi around wherever he goes. So the Haitani brothers show up (they both secretly like the cats, the cats like playing with Ran's hair). Shion comes along one day and declares that all cats love him only for the cats to run away, mochi is suprisingly gentle with cats. Kakucho will sometimes actually help Kazutora and Takemichi run the cafe if they get too overrun.

And most importantly there's Mikey who practically lives there. He's basically become one of the cats now, which wasn't too hard since he was already part cat to begin with.

Takemichi doesn't let him near the coffee though, he's not sure exactly what Mikey would be like after coffee but he doesn't want to find out.

"We're just friends."

Has that line ever been said by someone who wasn't deeply infatuated with said friend on the down-low? Someone who wasn't secretly pining for them and expressing that through every action they make? Someone who could only hope that the other would be able to finally interpret the underlying meaning, and realize that they feel like being more than "just friends"?

Of course, everyone who says that classic one-liner feels incredibly guilty whenever it leaves their mouth. They know they're lying through their teeth, and the sting of the words never fails to hurt as if it were the first time they've mumbled that statement.

They say it because, in essence, it's true; they are only friends. That's the title of the current state of their relationship to a T. However, they wonder if every time they say it, are they making things worse for themselves? They wonder if they're pushing away the other person from ever admitting that they like them back. They're preemptively building an impenetrable barrier to avoid the awkward conversation consisting of saying "I like like you" and then being turned down so terribly that it ruins the friendship.

In the end, neither makes the first move to break the friendship barrier.

So that's all they stay.

Just friends.

That is the unfortunate fortunate state of the relationship between you and Tanaka.

When you are introduced as an official co-manager of the team, specifically to help guide Yachi once Kiyoko left, having the first thing you hear Tanaka say be 'hey beautiful' was simultaneously flustering and somehow welcoming. Out of all of the greetings you hear that day, his is the one that sticks out to you, along with his shaved head and unbreakable stare.

Being a second-year yourself, you see Tanaka in passing, hanging out with who you learn is Nishinoya in the hallway or during lunch. He seems to stick out to you, mostly because he's just so damn loud, but not in the typical annoying class clown fashion.

He just happens to laugh a little louder than others, wrapping an arm around his torso as if he's fighting to keep himself up after a hilarious joke, or passionately discussing how he spiked a ball at practice the previous day, arms demonstrating the exact way he did it.

You and Tanaka become fast friends after your introduction. In the beginning, he tends to follow you around the gym like a puppy, using the excuse that he just wants to help a young lady do some of the heavy lifting. Once you explain to him that it is literally your job to do all of that, he backs off a bit, although, still hanging around to crack a few jokes with you.

It's his impeccable humor and timing of his jokes, disguising his genuine feelings of affection, that draws you to him. You start to hang around before homeroom and during lunch, when you can, engaging in effortless banter and inside jokes. After practice, you swing by Coach Ukai's store to grab some snacks before you head home.

Then the crush starts to develop from both sides, unbeknownst to each other.

It starts off slow and quiet, creeping up without your permission. Suddenly, whenever Tanaka throws his head back with laughter at your joke, you feel a flutter in your stomach along with pride. When he hands you your snack, his fingers gently brush yours, sending an electric shock right up your arm.

Then it starts to engulf you and you couldn't do anything to stop it, though, you weren't sure you wanted to. You catch yourself staring longingly at couples around the school, wondering what it would be like if that were you and Tanaka. You stay up at night, texting back and forth with him, into the early morning hours because neither of you wants to stop the conversation.

You're anxiously waiting for the day you slip up and he finds out that you like him. There's no way in hell you're as smooth as you think you are, so there's a large chance that he may already know. Maybe he's sparing your feelings by ignoring all of your, no doubt, obnoxious signs.

Meanwhile, Tanaka is just as nervous that you're going to call him out. That one day you're going to look deeply into his eyes and notice that he's been looking at you differently. That his brain is projecting his feelings onto his forehead and you're not commenting on it because it'd make things awkward.

So, you both do what young, inexperienced lovers do: ignore all of the feelings, and hope that either the feelings go away on their own or the other person confesses.

Life keeps on chugging, with feelings as strong as ever, but with the upcoming training camp in Tokyo, there's no time to focus on anything but. You have to make sure permission slips get signed, pack for camp, and think of potential strategies to help the team. Tanaka has to make sure he passes all of his exams, which is a gargantuan task on its own, while still juggling nightly practice.

By the end of the week, everyone comes out on top—except for Hinata and Kageyama—and training camp is in sight.

The excitement Tanaka feels to be able to attend the training camp is astounding. He managed to accomplish the impossible when he passed his exams, thanks to some tutoring from you and other teammates, and now he gets to enjoy his favorite sport with his teammates and other friends.

It's going to be your first trip with the team as a new manager, which is nerve-wracking but also exhilarating. You've come to enjoy the boys' company and shenanigans at practice, and watching them improve feels just as satisfying for you as it does for them. You'd also get to meet some of the rival teams they've been telling you about nonstop.

On the late-night bus ride to Tokyo, you end up sitting next to Tanaka when there are no other open seats left. Initially, you think it's a funny coincidence, but the sly smirk on Nishinoya's face as you walk past him to your seat says otherwise.

You spend most of the trip playing eye-spy with Tanaka, which mostly consists of telling him that not every tall metal structure is the Tokyo Skytree. You've lost count of how many times Coach Ukai has to tell you two to keep it down or how often you hear Tsukishima insult you under his breath.

1AM rolls around, and nearly everyone has fallen asleep, leaning their heads onto the bumpy bus window or against the headrest of their seats. A few have draped their heavy bodies on their unwilling, but understanding, seatmates.

The bus is silent and the ride is smooth now that you're on the highway, and your lack of sleep is finally catching up to you, too. The time between blinks is becoming longer, you're yawning more often than not, and you catch yourself subconsciously swaying.

Tanaka, who's been watching you fight sleep for quite a while, steps in after you almost tip headfirst into the stiff seat in front of you. "Ayo, sleepyhead." Your head quickly turns towards him, widening your eyes as if to try to keep focus. "Why don't you lean on me to sleep? I know I'm pretty buff, but I can be a decent pillow."

Suddenly, you've never felt more awake in your life. Have you been transported into a classic rom-com? "Are you sure? You won't be uncomfortable?"

"No, not at all. We need our manager to be in tip-top shape for the days ahead and that means a good night's rest," he says, giving you an enthusiastic thumbs-up.

You hesitate for a moment before succumbing to his reasonable request. "Oh….well, okay. Thanks, Tanaka."

As he watches you scoot yourself over to lean your head on his shoulder, he swears his heart seizes. This is something you normally do with a romantic interest, at least that's what his shoujo manga has taught him. You're just friends and friends don't normally do this, at least not voluntarily.

But it feels right. Comfortable. Like he'd want to do it again on the ride home, maybe next weekend, too. The thought of it sends his mind 20 miles a minute, and as he leans back against the headrest, he falls asleep imagining all of the times you could be cuddling if you were officially together.

"Wake up, lovebirds."

You begin to stir, the bright sun burning through your eyelids causing you to shove your face into the mass your arms are wrapped around to escape it.

It takes a few more moments before you're able to register what's been said, and Tanaka beats you to the routine scolding.

"You're the worst, Noya, and get that stupid camera out of our faces," Tanaka admonishes, sleep still heavy in his voice.

Your eyes shoot open when you hear the word 'camera,' hoping that maybe you heard incorrectly or maybe that Tanaka interpreted the situation incorrectly. "You took pictures?!"

"Yeah, of course." He swipes and taps at his phone screen a few times, turning it around to show you a picture of you and Tanaka sleeping, your arms wound around his arm while his head is leaning on top of yours. "It's so cute that you two were cuddling. I just had to capture the moment!"

"We weren't cuddling!" you screech, attempting to snatch his phone to delete the evidence, but he's too quick, standing up and away from your reaching hands.

"You can deny it all you want, but a picture is worth a thousand words," he teases, chuckling his way off the bus.

There's a flurry of groans that come from you both as you still sit at the back of the bus. You take that lull in time to detach yourself from Tanaka, straightening out your shirt and wiping your face of drool or eye crusties.

Tanaka can finally sit up straight, arms stretching up with back arched, a few satisfying pops coming from the action. He stands up for the first time in hours, feeling a bit like a newborn deer as he stumbles.

"Feet asleep?" you ask, dealing with the same problem yourself.

He's hunched over, hands on his knees, trying not to let you see just how bothered he is by the staticy feeling tingling through his feet. "Oh yeah. Shit's intense."

After gaining regular feeling back in your feet, he extends his hand towards you, gripping yours to help you slide out of the seat easier, the both of you electing to ignore the familiar electric feeling that shoots up your arm when you touch.

You collect your bag, still rubbing the sleep out of your eyes as you stand there with the girls. When it’s clear that everyone has their items and is ready to go, you start towards the dorms, the boys chatting energetically behind you.

Then your face is between Kiyoko’s shoulder blades. You step back and begin to apologize when Yachi taps your shoulder and points at someone standing a few feet from you. Peaking around the brunette, you see

"Three?! Karasuno now has three beautifully stunning managers?! Is that even legal?" a boy with a blonde mohawk screeches in front of you, falling to his knees dramatically. Like a protective mother, Kiyoko's arm flings out in front of you and Yachi, attempting to shield you from this strange boy.

"Soak it all in, buddy-boy," Tanaka gloats, hands positioned proudly on his hips. "This is the power of Karasuno. We have the finest ladies known to man. You guys could never even dream of what we have."

Kiyoko quickly leads you girls away from the fuss as Tanaka cackles maniacally, the Tanaka look-alike now crying into his hands about not being worthy.

Finding the rooms was quite simple, and the other managers are very welcoming and sweet. You claim a futon and head out with the rest of the girls to the gym where Karasuno was setting up for their first match of the day with Fukurodani.

It's an intense match. While the Karasuno boys are very skilled at what they do, it's quite obvious that Fukurodani is much more polished than the Wingless Crows. It also doesn't help that you are without Hinata and Kageyama, one of your best dynamic duos, for the time being.

The loss to Fukurodani set the stage for the rest of the day. You watch from the sidelines as they miserably lose nearly every single practice match against the other teams, throwing themselves onto the floor to do their flying laps after each set.

You wait patiently, along with Yachi and Kiyoko, off to the side, handing them their water bottles once they're done dragging themselves across the floor. Tanaka tends to be the first one to get to you, whether it be because he's the quickest or because he likes the little smile you give him when handing over his bottle.

"Here you go."

"Hold on." He lifts the bottom of his shirt and wipes his face of sweat. You catch a glimpse of his abs, glistening with sweat just like the rest of his body. Your eyes bounce around in an attempt to not look like a creep by staring at him, but they always came back to his exposed tan torso.

Wow, has he always been so fit?

"Like what you see, (Y/N)?" Suga teases, his sudden presence nearly making you jump out of your skin. You send a glare his way, hoping that he would shut his mouth with Tanaka standing right next there.

"Oh, shut up," you scold. You thrust his water bottle into his hands and shove him away from you, a shit-eating grin still plastered on his face as he goes.

Tanaka looks on, absolutely confused at what he missed. "What's he talking about?"

"Nothing!" You place his bottle in his waiting hand and grab your own to occupy your nervous hands. "You guys have been getting better as a team, you know? I heard the other teams complaining about how you’re getting harder to beat."

"Really? Doesn't quite feel like it when they're still brutally kicking our asses."

"Yeah, of course!” you defend. “I can tell that you've been improving with your straight spikes and working your ass off with blocks. You’re definitely improving.”

Tanaka’s face reddens, hoping that you assume it’s due to being in a stuffy gym on a hot summer day and not because the object of his affection is complimenting him. He didn’t think that you were paying that close attention to him.

His chest puffs up with pride, a cocky smile creeping onto his face. “You know what? You’re right. I’m the best volleyball player on this team.”

Well, I didn’t say that, you thought, but gave him an eager nod, anyway. If the ego boost means that he will play at his best and not get down on himself, then who are you to knock him off his high horse.

Your words must’ve stuck with Tanaka because he played the next few matches like he was already at Nationals. Whenever he’d nail a kill, he’d look back at you, waiting for you to show your approval through a thumbs-up or a bright smile. Despite all of his hard work not preventing the team from losing in the end, he’s still upbeat by the end of the game, ready to begin practicing immediately after everyone’s been dismissed.

He’s running up to you as soon as Coach Ukai finishes his closing thoughts for the team. “Are you going to stay and help us practice?”

You were actually supposed to help Kiyoko and Yachi serve some dinner for the boys in the cafeteria. Looking over at your fellow managers, you see Kiyoko already waving you off. “We’ll handle dinner, don’t worry. The boys need their practice,” she says,

She’s already leaving before she can see the offended faces of the team, a few of them grumbling about how they’re not that bad. Tanaka’s hasn’t missed a beat, tugging you by your wrist to stand near the net, letting it go with a red face once you’re in place.

“I want to get better at cross-court shots, like that Bokuto kid. I need you to set for me.” He’s already pushing a volleyball into your hands before you could protest, jogging to place an empty bottle on the court across from him, and then get into place.

So, you set for him. And set for him. And set for him..

It carried on for hours, and, at first, you were a bit sluggish, thinking about what would be served for dinner that night and if you’d even get to eat. But as you watched Tanaka get closer and closer to hitting the bottle, you were just as in it as he was, tossing those balls like your life depended on it.

He was out of breath from hitting the ball, and you can see the motivation dwindling as he continuously missed the mark every time he hit. He’s taking a short breather, taking a sip from his water bottle when you see his shoulders slump, jaw clenching in anger, and a far-off look in his eyes.

“Hey! You better not give up on me!” you scold, jabbing him in his arm with your finger. “I know you can do it, Tanaka. You’re the best player on this team, remember?”

“I know, but–”

“No ‘buts’! Only spikes. You’re not leaving here until you do it at least once.”

You hear him complaining under his breath as he gets into position again, but elect to ignore it, not wanting to add fuel to the fire. You toss the ball up for him, he hits it, misses, and before he opens his mouth, you grab another ball. “Again.”

And you do it exactly like that about ten more times, the hits getting more and more violent as he goes, channeling all of his frustration into his work. On the 11th toss, he slams the ball across the court with an aggressive yell and it hits the bottle with such force that it slides all the way to the other side of the court.

There’s a silent beat where you just look at each other with wide eyes, wondering if you’re both just imagining things due to exhaustion. But once that fades, Tanaka has his arms wrapped around your waist, lifting and spinning you in a circle as he cheers. The sudden embrace has you tightly holding onto him, arms barely hanging onto his neck properly.

He places you down after a few twirls, hands still gripping your waist. “Holy shit, I did it. Did you see that?! That was so badass!”

“Hell yeah! That was amazing, Tanaka. I told you you could do it,” you affirm.

“And you’re always right, I know,” he quips. He pulls you into him, gently this time, to give you another hug. This one feels more intimate, his head tucked into your neck, his arms wound tightly around your waist to keep you close. “Thank you for believing in me. I couldn’t have done it without you.”

It felt like he swiped your legs out from under you, the sincerity in his voice making you melt. You’re so stunned, you’re barely able to stutter out a weak ‘you’re welcome’ in response. You stay wrapped in his arms for a bit, soaking in his warmth and comforting scent.

The moment is ruined by other players cheering loudly in the gym, congratulating each other on a serve. You both pull away awkwardly, keeping your arms tightly against your sides like you had just touched fire. You can’t even look him in the eyes when you suggest finally going to get dinner.

You part ways once you reach the cafeteria, glancing at each other briefly–Tanaka nearly knocking a tray out of a guy’s hands and he bumps into him. Kiyoko’s giving you a knowing look as she hands you your food, one that embarrasses you further.

You’re tucking yourself into bed that night and setting your phone to charge when a notification pops up: Noya🤪 Attachment: 1 image. You can’t make out anything in the photo preview your phone shows you, so when you open it, you sure as hell wasn’t expecting it to be a photo of you and Tanaka cuddling on the bus. You also definitely didn’t expect the menacing message that follows: if you don’t, i will 😈🔫

You had no idea what he was implying, and that was the most terrifying part of it all. You were hoping it meant that if you don’t confess, he would tell Tanaka himself. It wasn’t an ideal situation, but maybe you needed someone to rip the bandaid off for you. You’d even settle for the text meaning that he’d snatch up Tanaka for himself.

What you were hoping it didn’t mean was that he’d post this photo on the internet anywhere the team would see with an embarrassing caption that’ll reveal your feelings to everyone.

But the thing with Noya is you never know.

Before turning in for the night, you make sure to set the photo as your lock screen, turning over in your bed with a giant grin on your face knowing what’ll await you every time you go to open your phone.

The rest of the days’ matches end just like the first; in an embarrassing loss followed by the boys throwing themselves along the floor and telling each other that they’ll win the next one. Despite not doing any of the exercises yourself, you felt just as exhausted, hoping that you’d win at least one match just so the team can smile for once.

They’re currently in the middle of playing against Nekoma and for the first time during the camp, they’re actually neck and neck for the set. Everyone’s at the edge of their seats as the ball flies back and forth across the court. You’re crossing your fingers on both hands and hoping that this will be the one that they win.

Karasuno is finally leading by one point. There are so many one-touch balls and close saves that you have your hands mostly covering your eyes like you were watching a horror movie at its’ peak. Nekoma has the ball again. Kenma sets it to Yamamoto and you watch as Tsukki and Tanaka jump up to block the ball, jumping a little later than normal due to their exhaustion. You didn’t expect for them to block this one perfectly, or at all, honestly, but you also didn’t expect the ball to injure anybody today.

It almost plays in slow motion as you watch the ball nail Tanaka right in the face. Normally, when the boys get hit in the face, they tend to walk it off with nothing hurt but their pride. However, you knew from the loud slam that the power on that spike was enough to cause injury, and when Tanaka stood up straight again, you saw the blood running from his nose like a faucet.

You’re the first manager to run to him, first aid kit bag slung over your shoulder as you tug him by his arm out of the gym to the bench sitting out in the hallway. The silence is deafening before you hear the coaches instruct everyone to continue the game, ensuring the players that everything will be just fine.

Gauze is the first thing you hand to him to keep the blood from dripping anywhere, directing him to lean forward instead of back. You touch around his nose gently, feeling for any major breaks, and thankfully, feeling nothing out of place.

Tanaka hears a loud vibration coming from somewhere, looking around on the bench and floor for the source. He finds your phone tucked under the bench, most likely having fallen from your pocket while you were crouched in front of him moments ago. You’re too busy searching for something in the kit, so he picks up your phone, intending to hand it over to you, but stops when he sees the photo that’s illuminated in his hand.

"Your lock screen is that picture that Noya took of us sleeping," he states, constantly tapping the screen to make sure it stays lit up so he can stare.

It wasn’t a picture he’s seen before, and definitely not one he remembers you or him taking. It takes him a moment before he recognizes this moment, back when you both were on the bus practically snuggled up next to him.

"Oh, uhh," abort, abort, abort, “I just thought it was a nice picture of us, that’s all.”

“But I’m sure you have a ton of nice pictures and haven’t changed your lock screen all year–not that I’ve kept track!”

You would say that, normally, you’re able to talk your way out of uncomfortable situations where you’re called out for something embarrassing or weird, but yet, here you are. Like a deer in headlights, cycling through excuses and reasons in your head like a Rolodex, trying to figure out something remotely smart that would make sense in this situation.

Telling him the truth–that you thought you could be a cute couple and having that picture as your lock screen at least quelled the urge to blurt out that you like him–could only go terribly wrong, in your mind. You’ve made it thus far without spilling the beans, and you’ve already convinced yourself that being just friends would be more than enough for you.

But, what if–and it’s a big what if–you confess and it all goes well? He reciprocates your feelings and you get the whole ‘happily ever after’ and end up together? You’ve definitely daydreamed about it but never too long enough to get your hopes up. But as you’re staring at him, you think you can see hope lingering in his eyes, and it makes you want to risk it all.

I mean, you miss all the shots you don’t take, right?

“It’s because I like you,” you blurt out. It wasn’t the most graceful confession, definitely wouldn’t end up in a ‘top 10 anime confessions’ compilation, but you got the point across. And taking a peek at Tanaka’s frozen, wide-eyed face means that he understood you.

“You like me,” he repeats, more to himself than anything. “Like, ‘like me’ like me? Like ‘we should go out on dates and kiss and hug and I can brag about you to all of my friends’ like me?”

“Is there another kind of ‘like you’?”

“...Touché.”

There’s a lull in the conversation, Tanaka still staring at your phone like a call will come in from a higher being to guide him through this point in his life. You can’t help but wonder if you ruined your friendship and made this uncomfortable for you both, considering that Tanaka still hasn’t said whether he likes you back.

You clear your throat to draw his attention. “So...what do we do now?”

“Well, since I like you, too, if it wasn’t obvious by how much I just freaked the fuck out, it means I have to take you on the most amazing date when we get back to Miyagi,” he says matter-of-factly, like he’s leaving no room to debate with him.

Not that you would even dare.

You fiddle with the supplies in the first aid kit to look more nonchalant, like your stomach isn’t currently erupting with butterflies, biting your lip to hide the goofy smile fighting to take over. “Okay. Sounds like a plan.”

Tanaka nods in agreement, his body language telling you he’s just as elated as you feel, despite him trying to disguise any emotion by covering the bottom of his face with the hand still holding the gauze to his nose. “Yeah, it’ll be great.”

Oh, you’re sure it will be.

They both knew their mother loved them but it was obvious that she was not content with her life.

And her desired dream life would be just spending the rest of her life traveling with her boyfriend who made a living by playing with a ball and a stick. without being a mom.

Although Renee had never taken out her discontent in life on her daughters and loved them very much, it was clear to Luna that her life would be more satisfactory if she wasn't a mother.

So when Luna was diagnosed with the disease that would take her life away, she had decided that it was best to give her mother what she wanted.

Because the last thing any mom- who despises motherhood- would want was not only to be stuck with two teenage girls but also with one of them being sick.

When Luna was first diagnosed she was thankful that the disease wouldn't cause her to look lethargic all the time.

Yes, she looked sick sometimes when it got really bad, but it was just paleness, purplish heavy dark circles, and colorless cheeks.

That sometimes did the job of helping her older sister forget about the fact that her younger sister- whom she very much loved- was going to be dead even before by the time she turns 18.

Bella Swan loved her sister to death, as much as she loved Edward. But she couldn't help but force the Cullens to tell her sister about the choice of being immortal and living with her for the rest of eternity.

Then they would be sisters forever and ever right?

Wrong

Luna Swan did not want to be immortal.

What the fuck would she even live for?

If her sister were to be alone then sure she would happily oblige turning into an immortal oversized mosquito. But her sister had a family.

So even if she was going to die in the next coming month or even maybe a year tops- her sister would eventually get over her death because Bella Swan had a daughter and a mate.

So while her sister was in Italy, she ran away.

and the fact that she was also a shield, both mentally and physically, meaning that unlike her sister she wouldn't show up in anyone's thoughts unless she wanted to, giving her immunity to Aro and Edward's abilities.

She was human

a very sick human with an even more limited life span

but she was more powerful than her, now, vampire sister, who had forgotten basic sex ed which was now sparking a war.

The only reason she knew of the oversized child spawn of the two most awkward people in existence, was because of Rosalie Cullen.

Rosalie and Luna secretly kept in contact since her disappearance/runaway to NYC.

Edward thankfully didn't know about their activities since Luna was trying her best to keep herself hidden from Rose's thoughts and it was working.

No one knew where she was.

She never really liked the city and preferred to live in a more secluded area but just in case of her ability ever started faltering, because she is after all only a human, she would be around people and no vampire would ever expose themselves to a dying human living in one of the most crowded populated cities on earth.

While everyone was relieved, Bella Swan was irritated.

She missed her sister.

She wanted her sister to live the rest of eternity with her.

But she knew that no matter how hard she tries, her sister would never choose an immortal life.

So when the Volturi was gone.

And hearing from Alice after the clearing, about her younger dying sister being the soulmate AND the blood singer of Alec Volturi, she was determined to go to Italy, alone, and make them aware of Luna Swan's existence.

Renesmee and the Cullens would stay in Forks, but she needed to go to Volterra.

Alec Volturi would never let his soulmate just die.

And a soulmate- no matter who they were- had the ability to give eternal happiness to her sister.

After all, it was always like this for the past millenias since they were apart. But if there was anyone in the world to make Luna Swan switch to immortality and keep her happy

everyone in the room, whether they wanted to acknowledge it or not, knew that there was only one person who had the capability

and that was Alec Volturi

they quickly came up with a plan

Renesmee would be staying in La Push, while Bella, Edward, Alice, and Jasper would be tracking Luna down.

Carlisle and Esme were on their way to Italy, but they would meet up with the other in France so Demetri wouldn't be able to get to them before they had Luna with them.

It was a risky plan

but Bella had enough

she was not going to let her sister just die

Luna was pissed. She had come back to her apartment after a grocery store run, only to come back and find her living room full of 4 vampires.

4 vampires with a mission to convince her to become immortal.

her annoying ass sister who wouldn't just leave her alone.

Her sister was even more pissed when she found letter exchanges between her and Rosalie.

She wasn't mad at her of course, but it was clear Bella was pissed at Rosalie for not letting her know about the updates she had been getting from her younger sister.

She was Luna's older sister, not Rosalie.

She quickly shook off the feeling of hurt and jealousy as she faced her now very frustrated and furious sister- who she hadn’t seen in months

hmm i have a slight feeling about who this is but i cant quite put my finger on why

also this is three characters and i am a very ramble-y person, so, “keep reading”:

~ Ludmila ~

First impression of them

“She is a bitch, I am going to love her”, but also, “She is such a stereotype and will annoy the fuck out of me”.

Current impression of them

I don’t think I have or ever will connect to and love a fictional character more than her (and Ámbar from Soy Luna, but they’re very similar character archetypes). There’s just so much I love about her: her sassy attitude (more in s2 & 3, really) and how the writers still kept it as an integral part of her personality post-redemption, her extreme love for astronomy, Mechi and her talent in general, and most especially her redemption arc. Her complexity in season 3 especially is too good for this dumb (half affectionate and derogatory) show. This stupid (very affectionate) girl is so special to me.

Least favourite thing about them

As a character, how little of a character she was in season 1. The writers had nothing going on for her besides the dramatic and bratty mean girl stereotype.

As a person, obviously how terrible she was in s1 and 2. That girl did some fucked up stuff that include (but aren’t limited to): putting strawberries in Vilu’s drink bc she thought Vilu was allergic but ended up sending León to the hospital, treating her best friend like an inferior for several years and literally breaking her leg by sending a skateboard flying her way, and teaming up with Diego for a whole year to manipulate Vilu and break her heart by the end of the it and then blackmailing Diego when he said he had feelings for Violetta and didn’t want to continue with the plan (this might be wrong but my memory’s a little foggy).

I love this girl, but she did some horrible things.

Random headcanon

Post-redemption, she’s always trying to prove to everyone, especially Naty, that she’s a better person even if they tell her they know. Idk, I feel like her past is not something for her that’s easy to let go and she’s constantly worried that she’ll either “turn” mean again or people will dislike her again (that last point highlighting her fear of rejection Priscila put on her). She also has a hard time showing emotions to most people since she basically had to repress a lot of feelings bc of Priscila just being Priscila.

Uhh, that’s quite angsty, so I’ll just say that she and Naty stay with each other for the rest of their lives bc I need that hehe.

Favourite crack ship

Okay, it’s Luty, I’ve been going crazy over them lately. Even though she was inexcusably mean to Naty, I love how she secretly cared for her when she was and how affectionate towards her she was in most of s3. This girl loves her a lot but is an idiot and doesn’t know how to show it. <3

I don’t think there’s really an opinion in this fandom about her that is really unpopular, but I’ll just say that I don’t like how they made her a jealous girlfriend in one of the episodes in s3 where Germán and Priscila took her and Vilu to Spain. It really feels like they just wanted cheap drama and that was the first trope they thought of.

First of all, she is a cutie and I love how chaotic (the acting direction is very questionable, to say the least, in s1 especially) and adorable this girl is, but second of all, her storyline with leaving that toxic friendship but not completely because she cares a lot for Ludmila is- Also her telling Ludmi that "I wish I could hate you the way others do, but I can’t because I love you” but still expecting to be treated better is- HOLY CRAP

Show me the competent writers who wrote Naty and Ludmi’s arcs because, again, these two are too good and complex for this stupid show.

Least favourite thing about them

I hate how insecure she is about herself and how she just settles with Ludmi’s mistreatment of her in s1 :(

Luty. This idiot has been in love with her best friend for forever. Also in season 3 when she (aside from Germán) was the only one to believe Ludmi immediately when she said she didn’t push Vilu down the stairs and when she encouraged her to go to studio despite Ludmi not wanting to, assured her no one hates her, and is very sensual with her when everyone else was apologizing- 🥺😭 It gets me every time.

She seems like she has some form of anxiety, especially season 1 and before.

We tend to associate Naty with sunshines and rainbows, but this sad bitch will say Birdie by Avril Lavigne. Look me in the eye and tell me it’s not her breaking away from her toxic friendship with Ludmila (also the “how can i avoid the flames from your fire?” line matches with the “shine bright like the fires that burned ya” line of Supernova and idk, that’s cool ig).

I don’t ship her and Maxi, I guess. Though I find some of their romantic scenes cute, I like them better as friends.

First impression of them

The first time I saw her was in Caitlin Mckillop’s Violetta 2 Song Ranking video and I hadn’t watched the show at the time and therefore didn’t know Angie and Vilu were blood-related, so when it got to the clip of Algo se Enciende (when Angie was leaving), I literally thought Vilu was her favorite student and that’s why she hugged her the tightest out of the kids instead of Vilu being her niece. 🙃👐

But the first time I watched the show (ep 1), I thought she was one of the most gorgeous people i ever saw pretty sweet, though also an idiot (affectionate).

Current impression of them

I don’t have much to say about her as Ludmila and Natalia, but just know that I love her and think she deserves much much better. :)

I hate how she just settles for Germán, because that man never treated her right :(

Soooooooo... because I’ve completely lost my mind: “Light and L in Hogwarts during the year that Harry Potter was” AU ideas (and I know a lot of people have already written them into Hogwarts, so I’m probably just unknowingly copying people’s ideas. But shh).

Light is a Gryffindor and L is a Slytherin (same year). Really, Light should also be a Slytherin, of course. But this helps them to be rivals better. He probably asked the Sorting Hat to put him in Gryffindor--ala Harry--and the Sorting Hat took his choice into consideration.

And they are rivals. Because like in canon, they’re very much the same and Foils to each other. They both definitely become prefects and Head Boy of their year (sorry, Ron. I guess I’m stealing prefect from you for this AU. I’m so sorry, baby!). And everyone is constantly comparing the two, so they hate each other at first. They’re also both on their respective Quidditch teams, because of course they’d be. I’m imagining they’re Beaters, because “he who attacks first, wins”, and since Harry’s still got to be Gryffindor Seeker.

And getting the obvious out of the way: L loves Honeydukes, of course.

But I imagine the reason these two start to become friends is this: Light realizes there’s something wrong with Snape jumps down Harry’s throat on his first day. Like, he reads fear and humiliation on Harry’s face or something--or knows that even the most basic wizard should have known the answers Snape was asking about--he questions him about it... To which Harry admits that he didn’t even know he was a wizard--or about the wizarding world--until a few days ago. Though I doubt Harry would be this open about it to a stranger, but shh. And this ticks Light off--to know that Harry’s aunt and uncle treated him so dirty, and that Professor Snape just made this poor, defenseless kid look like an idiot--and he plans to go to Snape about it. But anyway, L had secretly been listening this whole time--but hiding like a cat--and he makes his appearance known now. He’d come to the same conclusions and also wants to help Harry out, because he’s “justice” too, after all. And it’s here that Light and L develop a grudging respect for each other. And they probably do go to Snape. But Snape being Snape doesn’t listen to them, and he takes points from both Gryffindor and Slytherin for their “insolence”... At which point, they might decide to make Snape’s life a living Hell, and thus a friendship begins.

The two of them totally become aurors when they graduate, and enjoy seeing Harry and Ron at work.

Light and L may think that Ron isn’t the smartest wizard in the world--and somewhat un-deserving to hang out with Harry and Hermione--at first, but their opinion of him changes pretty quickly. And even when they did think this of him, they didn’t dislike Ron. They liked the dude pretty well, since Ron’s pretty sociable, but just didn’t think he would ever be a rival to them. Let’s put it that way. But when they learn about all that Ron does in his, Harry, and Hermione’s adventures, they give him mass respect.

Light and L are the biggest supporters of Neville Longbottom that you’ll ever see, as they both saw his potential and realized pretty soon that it was abuse keeping him from unlocking his full potential.

Light and L are “fans” of Harry at first--though not starstruck--and then just flat-out respect the Boy Who Lived once he just becomes one of their peers. Granted, they don’t think baby Harry really did anything to earn all his fame... but you’ve still got to give it to the infant that somehow tripped up Lord Voldermort and stopped his reign of terror.

Light and Hermione... get on pretty well. I’d maybe go as far as to say they’re acquaintances. And, naturally, everyone thinks they should date: since they’re the two smartest Gryffindors and prefects. But this would never happen. They probably even laugh at the idea together. Hermione has just never had any interest in Light, for whatever reason (maybe because she had a crush on Ron pretty early on). And Light is most definitely gay.

I forgot to mention that L in this is probably a clue to the Golden Trio earlier on that Slytherins aren’t all bad.

Speaking of: L and Draco are friends (but only because Draco’s pretty much the best person he can find in Slytherin house). And this maaaaaaaaaybe convinces Draco to switch sides earlier than in canon.

As he would, Light definitely loves to use avada kedavra against evil people... Though no one really has a problem with this, because most people use that spell during a war (in fact, even our heroes in Harry Potter often don’t understand why he won’t use the killing curse). L maaaaaaaaaaybe tells Light that he thinks this is a bad thing. But it isn’t something they’re going to turn into enemies before. And L’s certainly used the spell himself in dire situations. But similarly to Death Note canon, Light thinks that all criminals should be avada kedavrad. L questions that one time, though, in asking Light, “You want them to suffer for what they’ve done, yes? So wouldn’t it be worse for them to live out their years in Azkaban? Or have their souls sucked out by the Dementors?”

But back to Light and L still being rivals... There’s one time where they’re both in the halls after curfew--probably because Light and L sometimes get roped into the Golden Trio’s adventures, or their own adventures, because they’re too smart not to be--and L leans over to Light and says, “Know that I love you,” before kissing him on the lips... He then gets on his broom, or something, and quickly flies away so he won’t get caught, but Light is and Gryffindor loses points. So the game is on.

I feel like Light and L would probably hate and dislike Dumbledore, after they realize some of the shady stuff he does. L might somewhat respect his cleverness, but ehh.

Also, Light and L are brilliant... So they never once doubt that Voldermort is back when Harry says he is. And they do, in fact, join Dumbledore’s Army and help Harry teach... Even though they probably hate the name. They also help bring it back with Neville, Luna, and Ginny, when the Golden Trio are away in year seven.

They fight in the Battle of Hogwarts, of course. And in the battle in Hogwarts at the end of book six.

L is probably the first Gryffindor to stand up to his house, like “Uhh, no. We’re not going to sacrifice Harry to Voldermort to save ourselves.” And speaking of... there’s a chance that a good portion of L’s house hates him for clearly siding with Harry over Voldermort when the war begins.

I had some ideas about Misa, but I’m sort of forgetting them now. She’s definitely a Hufflepuff... But I want to do something different with her, than most people usually do. Yes, Light is kind of annoyed by her because he thinks she thinks they’re dating or is trying to force it? (She probably does something to help him? And then Light thinks she’s insinuating he owes her. IDK?) But what if in reality, she’s ace or something and just wants a friend? And Light is just assuming the worst--and for once, being dumb--by just not talking to her? But eventually he does, and then they’re sort of cool with each other. And she then sometimes helps Light and L, because this is the happy Death Note AU (in Hogwarts), everybody.

...I feel like I had so many ideas, but now I think I’ve forgotten them all. Oops. I’ll add to this if I remember them, I guess.

Also... there’s a good chance that Light and L figure out the Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew thing before anyone else--near instantly, when they learn about it--but I also don’t know if I want to commit to that? Because I don’t want to steal the Golden Trio’s thunder too much here? But at the same time, if I’m not going to have the Death Note characters slightly change things, what’s even the point?

Edit: The two geniuses probably do create some new spell or potion or something together.

Edit 2: Harry and L totes bond over being orphans.

Edit 3: All the students in Hogwarts know that Light and L are gay for each other. And are constantly like, “Where’s your boyfriend at?” to their annoyance, probably because even in this universe Light and L are in denial about their feelings for each other for the longest time for some reason.

Edit 4: Light and L have the same patrous (to their annoyance. And at first, it’s not because they love each other--though maybe later it partly is--but because they’re that much alike). And it’s probably a cheetah or something.

Edit 5: Back to the whole Light and Misa thing, L actually realizes she doesn’t want to be Light’s girlfriend and is cool with her before even Light is. Since, oddly enough, it seems that Slytherin and Hufflepuff are close, and Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. Later, when Light asks how he figured it out first, L sites his deductive reasoning schools and this as the reason.

Edit 6: I just thought of how this gets dark, and how Light and L maybe turn against each other... Light being tempted to create horcruxes by using the kills he makes in self-defense. L tells him not to do it: to not be like Voldermort. And Light perhaps listens to that... or doesn’t, in being so arrogant that he thinks he won’t become a dark wizard if he’s tasted immortality. On one hand, I feel like Light wouldn’t want to rip his soul apart. But if he thought it was for the greater good--so he could continue fighting crime as an auror--then he might do it...

Edit 7: Light and L do probably resent their professors some, in thinking that they’re more capable than they are.

Edit 8: Light and Hermione might actually go on one “date” together. To “The Slub Club”, because they want to make Ron and L jealous.

Mpreg Ignis (Final Fantasy 15: True Ending Version)

AHAAHAHAHAH! I can’t believe that people really like the Mpreg Ignis Headcanon! Thank you so much!

Something you guys have probably noticed by now is that I’m not a huge fan of the true ending.

Not saying it’s bad, I just don’t like how:

•Noct dies

•Iggy is blind

•Ravus dies

I also don’t agree with the assumption that the alternative ending is a “happier ending” because Luna is still dead.

But I digress, I don’t think the ending is bad. it’s just not my favorite ending.

But I will do it. I will give the people what they want!

To make this one different than the Alternative ending this one will have;

•Ignis is Blind :(

•Noctis is dead (also Ravus)

•Ignis has his own restaurant because of course he should!!!

I guess this takes place two years after The light is restored. Idk you change that if ya want to.

•Ignis was taken a back a bit. Yes, her concerns were valid but he didn’t wanna put everything on Shannon.

•”Ignis, I know that you don’t wanna put everything on me but...but you need to Focus on your daughter. You need to prepare.”

37 weeks: 9 months. He now has to get ready.

•it’s his last day at the restaurant. For awhile anyways.

•it’s actually really emotional. The employees are sad that they won’t see him for awhile but are happy that he’s taking time to be ready on fatherhood (**cough cough Motherhood cough cough**)

•To Ignis, There like a family, a family he gained when he lost so much.

•After they’ve closed, they celebrate.

•Ignis and Shannon smiling at everyone.

•not that he wouldn’t have either way, but he doesn’t wanna be a burden on anyone. Including his daughter.

•Sometime during the day, Iggy starts feeling pain down his back.

•it wasn’t too bad, so he went on with his day.

•but the pain got worse.

•so bad that he started doing his deep breath’s.

•The midwife tells him to get to the hospital, NOW!

•This is it.

•she suddenly stopped crying and stared at his bad eye.

•After a week, hes able to take her home.

•And oh, If you thought Prompto took too many photos of Ignis’s pregnancy belly....oh boy.

•he immediately starts taking many, MANY MANY, Photos of her.

•she actually looked confused.

• Gladio joking said “so, when are we going to train her?”

•Ignis later made his food cold, on purpose later that night.

•Shannon got to hold her and fell in love with her immediately.

•”feels like holding my son for the first, all over again.” She said teared up.

•Over the years, She has grown to being a shy and a adorable little girl.

•She’s so helpful during work and is popular with the staff. They treat her like they’re siblings.

•She always tries to help Ignis’s blindness. Guiding him around.

•”Watch where your going Daddy.”

•Even tho, he can get around just fine. It warms his heart that she tries to help him.

•Of course, Ignis wishes that Noct could have Met her. Even once.

•but somehow, he believes that Noct is watching her in heaven.

•Noctis is so proud of his friend.

Wow! So long! Well I hoped ya like it. I hope the true ending version is just as good as the alternative version.

I thought it would be cute that he would have a restaurant. ^~^ Gladio got the right idea 💡

Also I did not mean to create a new character, Shannon, but eh why not? I grew attached to her over the story (she sounds like a like Karen but she’s a good Karen. I promise.) and who knows? She might show up in other Headcanons 😉

Also whether you ship her with Ignis, is up to you. Hehehe. I don’t blame you tho.

Saber headcanons part 4: Kento past + pre-caliber

-Like Sora, even though his dad was a swordsman, he went to a regular public school up until the day his dad betrayed the SOL.

- The public school might be where he first met Touma (not sure about this yet since we don’t know who Touma’s parents are nor know his relation to the SOL)

- If he did end up meeting Touma at school, then their first meeting would have to be on the playground. With Touma preferring to read a book instead of play with the other kids.

- some of the other boys get annoyed at his lack of interest in joining their game, and they start picking on him. Kento, being his father’s son, detests the site of bullying and comes to Touma’s aid. After chasing away the bullies, Touma invites Kento to read with him to which Kento accepts; the start of a strong bond that transcends time.

- Even though his dad wanted Kento to follow in his footsteps, Kento’s parents (suggesting that he has a mother) encouraged him to look into other careers such as a policeman, firefighter, soccer player, etc.

- Because his dad was always away on missions, there would be times where Kento wouldn’t see his dad for moths on end. But his dad always made sure to write him letters of his adventures.

- Even though Kento was there the day his father betrayed the SOL and witnessed his father attack kamijou Daichi, he ended up fainting before he could see anything else and woke up two days later in the Northern Base’s clinic due to Ogami finding him and bringing him there.

- Kento searched everywhere, high and low, for Touma and Luna, and waited at their promised place everyday just in case they came by.

- After almost a year of waiting and not finding them, he started to believe that they were both dead and instantly blamed himself for his father’s actions.

- Wanting to at least try and make things right, he started asking Sofia and anyone he could come across in the SOL about anything regarding his father, the betrayal, and what happened that day.

- After finding out that no one really knew anything, he decided that he had to become a swordsman himself in order to investigate more.

- He became the current Espada, Shinsen’s, student after begging Sofia to help him become a swordsmen. However, in order for Shinsen to fully accept him, Kento had to prove himself worthy and complete difficult tasks such as running for a specific amount of time, cleaning a very large ballroom, etc. which Kento did without complaint.

- (according to RiderWiki, Shinsen took Rintaro under his wing after Nagamine died. I found this out a day after writing Rintaro’s headcanons. After reading it, I first thought that oh, maybe Rintaro and Kento really did grow up together then. But that still doesn’t answer why Rintaro seemed to be surprised at his presence in ep 2 and 3 and why he used formal speech when talking about and to Kento as if they didn’t grow up together. After thinking for a good long while, here’s what I came up with.)

- As Shinsen had already taken Rintaro under his wing after Nagamine died, He had trouble figuring out ways of teaching his two students in similar or different fighting styles (as Rintaro was still the successor of Nagare and Blades’s title and thus had to be taught a fighting style fit for the swordsmen of water.). Rintaro, not wanting to burden Shinsen as well as wanting to take more after his master’s fighting style, suggested that he learn Blades’s fighting style through books by himself so that Shinsen could focus on training Kento.

- Even though Shinsen felt guilty at not being able to properly teach Rintaro what he needed to know, it still worked out perfectly since Shinsen could properly train Kento while Rintaro studied, and then both boys would be able to practice what they learned by sparring.

- Kento was always super focused on training and bettering his technique, but he was still a kid at heart and wanted friends. however, at the same time, didn’t really believe that he deserved friends. This didn’t stop him from attempting to have friendly conversations with Rintaro during breaks while sparring though.

- However, due to Rintaro’s personality and habit of taking things too literally, Kento was never able to start up a fun conversation with the water swordsman apprentice that proved to be even slightly similar to the conversations he would have with Touma and Luna.

- Being as young as he is and having gone through so much pain, I can actually see Kento almost seeing Rintaro as a possible, unintentional replacement for Touma. But because Rintaro has gone through some shit himself and want’s to focus on his own path, he kinda goes against the image of Touma that Kento unintentionally put on him. The frustration Kento gets from this fact builds up so much that it explodes one day.

- That one day happened to be one of the rare days where Shinsen would be teaching the boys a new technique at the same time, since it was a pretty basic swordsman technique that didn’t require any particular style. Unlike most times where Kento would usually wait until a break or after sparring to strike up a conversation, Kento instead started speaking as the boys sparred. At first he talked about things like the weather and what they both had eaten that day (of course with Rintaro not saying much other than “can we please focus?”) then his words slowly got more aggressive to the point where Kento started mocking Rintaro’s lack of character.

-Rintaro of course, tried his best to ignore Kento and focus on sparring, but when Kento asked “who do you take after, your mom or dad?” he finally felt as if he had to respond.

- R: “I don’t know...”

K: “How can you not know? Don’t you have a family?”

R: “The SOL is my family.”

K: “Are you dumb? The SOL is an organization! They can’t be your family! A family AT LEAST has to have a mother and father!”

- The last sentence Kento said brought Rintaro to tears, so he quickly yells “You don’t know anything!” and runs off back to the base.

- For the next year, Rintaro refused to participate in anymore lessons and spars with Kento, and would always run the other direction if he so much as saw Kento appear anywhere. Kento did feel really guilty about what he said, especially after Shinsen scolded him and explained Rintaro’s situation and past. That being said, he tried his best to find Rintaro to apologize, only to always watch the boy’s back as he ran away.

- Somewhat fed up with having to chase the water swordsman apprentice, Kento came up with a plan to have Ren capture Rintaro and tie him up so that he couldn’t escape. He honestly wasn’t expecting his plan to work so well, but because it did, he was finally able to talk to Rintaro and ask for forgiveness. To which, Rintaro gave under the condition that they both work hard to become swordsmen. After this incident, Kento saw Rintaro in a new light. He wasn’t a boy that could possibly fill up the whole Touma and Luna left, instead, he was Rintaro; a fellow apprentice who was really talented and smart. And Kento really admired him for that.

- The only reason why Kento flew in on his magic carpet in ep 2+3 is because he was on a mission somewhat far away and wanted to see Touma as soon as possible once he was done.

- Despite being overjoyed that Touma was actually alive AND had been introduced to the SOL/become a Kamen Rider as well, Kento was actually super nervous about meeting him again. He thought about what he would do and what he would say. He wondered how he would ask Touma about Luna, and how he should explain about what happened that day 15 years ago. When Rintaro told him about walking into Touma’s bookstore while riding his blue lion, Kento thought that maybe riding in on his magic carpet might be a good conversation starter if anything got too awkward.

-He’s literally imagined his and Touma’s reunion hundreds of times after he heard that Touma was alive. He also wanted to ask him questions like “where did you go to school?” “What college degree do you have?” “Did you go on any adventures?(bookwise or real life)” ect. Kento just really wants to know how his friend has been all these years.

- Kento is actually a neat freak and low-key OCD. He can’t stand being messy and has his own, somewhat professional way of organizing. Though he’d rather let others clean if there’s a way for him to opt out.

- Kento is very fond of fictional novels, especially if they’re books that he read with Touma and Luna back in the day. However, he has no patience for non-fication, and secretly finds them very boring. His favorite genre of fictional novels would have to be adventure, fantasy and anything with super heroes. However, he does have a secret soft spot for romance (to the point where he has his own ships), and would rather die than admit to this fact.

- Is on the book side of the “Book vs. Movie” argument because he has never actually watched a movie to the end. Whenever he finds time to watch a movie, he ends up being so tired that he falls asleep before the climax. Reading a book at least gives his eyes something to focus on, plus books are like ‘a movie in your head’.

-Kento kind of gives off a ‘spring’ feel to me, so I think that his favorite scents could be fresh laundry, calm lavender, and a warm spring breeze.

- Doesn’t dog-ear books, thankfully. But he does end up using weird objects as book marks. (i.e. an old receipt, a library card, post-it note, basically anything small, flat and within hands reach.)

Lucifer: Moss looks up to Lucifer and respects him but gods does he get on their nerves. Everytime he speaks Moss has to hold themself back from slapping him.

Mammon: Moss considders Mammon their best friend. They always get up to stupid nonsense that is sure to piss Lucifer off.

Leviathan: Leviathan is one of Moss’s favorite people. Moss adores him and would do anything to ensure his hapiness.

Satan: Satan and Moss get along well. Satan reminds Moss of themself when they were younger.

Asmodeus: Moss loves hanging out with Asmodeus or just being around him. They also often gossip together.

Beelzebub: Moss and Beelzebub both have verry large apatites so they often sit and eat together. Moss thinks Beelzebub is absolutely precious and if anything bad ever happened to him they would RAISE HELL.

Belphegor: Belphegor is always surprised how eisily Moss trusts him after what he’s done. Moss can’t blame him for killing them though and it’s not like it’s the first time they’ve died.

Diavolo: Moss likes Diavolo and thinks his personality is quite entertaining but part of them can’t really trust him...

Barbatos: Moss calls Barbatos “Barbra” and often talks about how annoying he is. They truly have no problem with him but it’s now an ongoing joke between the two that they hate eachother.

Layla: Moss would die for Layla. Kill for Layla. They think she’s absolutely PERFECT and would do ANYTHING for her. Layla is very aware of this and uses it to her full advantage.

Nita: Moss thinks Nita is hilarious with her shy tsundere aditude. Nita looks up to Moss but she would never even dream of telling them.

Noah: Moss adores Noah and thinks of him as a younger brother. Noah still feels bad for breaking Moss’s leg once but Moss has told him he has more than made up for it by being a wonderful friend.

Rogan: Moss calls Rogan her pretty lesbian and would die for her. Rogan loves spoining Moss and finds it funny to get all cuddly with Moss right in front of Leviathan. Moss acts oblivious to her playful advances and Levi’s jealousy.

William: Moss and Will cuddle all of the time and Will often spoiles them with presents and praise. Moss loves this and tries their best to give him gifts that are just as nice.

Pidge: Moss saved Pidge’s life once so Pidge feels like she is forever in debt to Moss. Moss just enjoys hanging out with Pidge. Especially when she takes them out flying.

Lyle: Moss looks up to Lyle as he is technically their older brother. Lyle is the voice of reason to combat Moss’s impulsive chaotic personality.

[With Angels]

Simeon: Moss thinks Simeon is very kind and looks up to him but they also find him very bland.

Luke: Moss adores Luke. They call him “My son” or “My boy” and would literally kill anybody who dares upset him. Luke looks up to Moss and hopes to one day be just like them. Moss hopes that this does not happen.

Arina: Moss likes Arina quite a bit but they find her much too serious. Arina sees every interaction with Moss as just a business interaction (it technically is) and that really annoys Moss.

[With Humans]

Solomon: Moss quite likes Solomon but they find his overly kind personality somewhat suspicious. They would never admit that to Solomon’s face though.

Jackie: Moss only wants to impress Jackie and sees her as a motherly figure. Lackie would kill anybody who so much as looks at “her boy” the wrong way.

JJ: Jeremiah looks up to Moss and refuses to call them anything but “Boss” most of the time. Moss finds this adorable but in return jokinhgly calls him “Pretty Boy”

Shank: Moss gets on Shank’s damn nerves and Shank often tries to kill them. Moss finds this hilarious and likes to flirt with her and call her “Pretty Woman” or “Pretty Lady” just to get on her nerves. Shank secretly adores Moss and they are the only person besides JJ allowed to call her Kiana.

Madame Luna: Moss loved Madame Luna as if she was their actual mother. They still feel guilty for killing her even though it had to be done.

[With other beings]

Indigo: Moss and Indigo have a mutual admiration for eachother. They get along very well as their personalities are very similar.

Jay: Moss and Jay get along just fine. Moss finds Jay quite plain and Jay finds Moss much too chaotic and obnoxious. And if Mammon’s boyfirend thinks you’re chaotic it’s probably true...

Stella: Moss thinks Stella is rather admirable. Stella is the clever businesswoman Moss’s parents always wanted them to be.

E: E is quite important to Moss for many reasons. E finds the “tiny human” quite intriguing but she will always slightly fear Moss because of the first time they met.

Sadie: Sadie is like a sister to Moss. Moss has literally killed for Sadie before and would gladly do it again if necessary. Sadie has been with Moss through everything and their bond is unbreakable.

Lucy: Lucy and Moss act like they hate eachother with Moss calling Lucy “Spooky bitch” and Lucy calling Moss her “Piggy faced sibling”. But in reality they would do anything to protect eachother.

Do you think V8 will have anymore conclusion to Weiss and Whitley's relationship? I think I would like to see maybe the team will eventually have to get back into Atlas and Whitley who might have interim position on the Atlas Council to grant them access (undercover as Ruby would put it) which may result in Weiss and Whitley finally talking and clearing the air and Weiss possibly finally apologising for how she treated Whitley growing up. Just my hopes for V8, Whitley needs some happiness

Hello again Crystal.As much as I would love to see Weissand Whitley legit reconcile for the next volume, the ending of V7 didn’t reallyset up much for what’s next for Weiss’ relationship with her brother. At leastin my opinion.

While V7CH9 highlighted Whitley running up to his room whileMama Schnee stared behind him in sadness, it’s not to say Weiss was the onesharing a troubled look toward her little brother; showing the slightest tingeof remorse for what her actions might’ve caused for him.

On the contrary, in spite of her own mother coming out of obscurity to ask her to look out for herbrother, Weiss didn’t even try to reach out to Whitley even after being the oneresponsible for placing their father behind bars.

It’s for this reason why I’m starting to think that V8 mightnot show a continuation of Weiss making up with Whitley.

If V7 had ended with Ironwood becoming the primary antagonist to our heroes for the nextseason and V8 was mainly about watching our heroes basically fight Ironwood andhis forces while on the cusp of Salem eventually showing up with her army---thenperhaps we could’ve probably had amoment where…I dunno…Ironwood threatened to use an innocent Whitley Schnee asbait or something along those lines to get our heroes to surrender Penny overthe Atlas Military as she is the new Winter Maiden.

Ironwood using Whitley as a means of getting to Weiss could’vebeen interesting since it could’ve tested Weiss’ feelings towards her brother.Maybe even cause some internal struggle forher given that she was asked to look out for him. Not to mention that Ironwoodusing an innocent member of Weiss’ family as leverage could be a testament tohis heartlessness and how far he’s willing to go to “save Atlas” from Salem.Not to mention that it’s a way to have Winter finally question Ironwood’smorality seeing him bring her own little brother into this when he basicallyhad nothing to do with any of the affairs related to the huntsmen or evenSalem.

That could’ve been something. But like I said, the show didn’treally leave me expecting much from Weiss and Whitley after V7. Don’t get mewrong, I still want to see Whit become the Huntsman in Weiss’ Snow White storyand help her with his act of choosing to help his sister during a crisis inspite of their rocky relationship being what makes Weiss finally startaccepting her brother into her life.

But at the moment, I can’t really see that happening sincethe show hasn’t done much for Weiss showing even a crumb of interest in herbrother. It’s actually very disappointingif I could be more frank.

I was banking on V7 potentially showing Weiss and Whitleymaking amends, focusing a bit more on their relationship as opposed to theusual---which is her and Winter. And in the end, we didn’t get much on that atall.

We got the usual. More development for Weiss and Winter’s bond as sisters while Whitley gets left behind...AGAIN.

As a matter of fact, if you will allow me to go on a little rant here--- I was actually VERY disappointedwith V7CH8 after it first premiered. I’m probably in the minority when Isay this but I didn’t like how the showintroduced Willow Schnee just for the mere sake of having her be the one tohelp Weiss stop Jacques.

Personally, I thinkthat moment should’ve gone to Whitley since, no offence to Mama Schnee as acharacter but…I wasn’t invested in her ties to Weiss since the show did verylittle to previously establish that for me.

Unlike Whitley, I had no emotionalconnection to Willow Schnee since this wasn’t the other Schnee the MAIN animated seriesfocused on back when Weiss was home in Atlas for V4.

Sure we got a mention ofWillow in V4 and V5. But that’s the thing. All we’ve gotten from Willow arementions and even when she’s brought up; it’s usually all wrapped up with theSchnee Family Affairs involving Jacques.

Weiss’ relationship with Whit was the one the show primarilygave some focus back in V4 and based on that, I was expecting Whitley to havebeen the one to help his sister with outing Jacques. In my opinion, Whitley would’ve been the more fittingcharacter to out Jacques’ involvement with Watts to Weiss since it wasestablished in V7CH4 that Whitley saw Watts at the manor in the flesh.

Not to mention that the show also highlighted previously backin V4 that Whitley has a tendency toeavesdrop on his father’s conversations inside of his office; as evidencedby the fact that he was the one to inform Weiss of Jacques talking to someone(Ironwood) before her arrival in his office.

Did Miles Luna---the CRWBY Writerwho wrote V7CH8 forget that little detail about Whit?

Nothing against the fans who love Willow Schnee and feelsorry for her as another tragic victim of Jacques’ abuse--- however; I’m sorrybut it annoyed me how the CRWBY Writers brought her into the story for V7.

I mean I knew we were going to eventually see Willow at somepoint during the Atlas Arc as part of Weiss’ story. However the LAST thing Iexpected was for her to help Weiss with Jacques.

It is such a plot convenience that the very first timeWeiss (and by the extension, the audience) reunites with her mother is insideof her father’s office where she was just casually standing there ready to giveWeiss exactly what she needed to stop her father.

I’m sorry but Willow’s sudden involvement in stopping Jacquesfelt so…random to me. This is acharacter who has practically been an invisible enigma for about three seasonsand the very first time her character appears in the story is for the sakeof pushing the plot with a plot convenience.

A convenience that would’ve probably felt less like such a convenienceif it were done with Whitley. Because unlike Willow, Whitley had more build up.

In my opinion, it would’ve made more sense if Whitley hadbeen the one to give Weiss the information on Watts. Instead of Willow, Whitleyshould’ve been the one waiting for Weiss in their father’s office.

Instead ofhaving Whit be a brat for most of the episode, imagine if…Weiss had entered Jacques’ office only tofind her brother smugly waiting there for her.

Imagineif…Weiss had managed to sneak into Jacques’ office only to heara familiar “…Hello dear sister” frombehind, turning around to find Whitley seated at Jacques’ desk.

Imagineif…we had a moment of actual tension where Weiss believed that Whitley was going to rat her out to her father---y’knowwatch her get in trouble with him again because in Weiss’ eyes, that’s whatWhitley wants, right? ---harkening back to the way she accused him of the samething back in V4.

Only instead of ratting her out to their father, Whitleysurprises Weiss by doing the unexpected. He tells Weiss about their father’sinvolvement with a “very bad man whovisited their home earlier” meaning Watts. And to further prove his point;especially when Weiss shows doubt in her brother’s integrity, that’s whenWhitley hands Weiss the Scroll with the recording of Jacques’ conversation withWatts.

And when questioned on how he got this information, Whitleycould simply explain to his sister that he got the information from thesecurity cameras; pointing out the detail of how their mother had cameras secretly installedinside their father’s office and all over Schnee Manor, not like she ever daredto actually use them.

And when questioned how Whitley knew about the cameras, hethen went on to further explain that he first heard about the cameras aftertheir mother drunkenly dropped that little titbit as a bold fake threat during one of her and Jacques’ screaming matches (since Jacques yelling at Willow is acommon thing in the Schnee Manor according to V4).

Having Whitley help Weiss instead of Willow would’ve workedso much better in terms of MAIN series canon continuity. You really expect me to believe thatWillow Schnee had cameras installed all over Schnee Manor and the one time shedared to use them was coincidentally when Weiss showed up at the Manor fortheir dinner and just happened to need that information that she just so had. Really?

The only time we see Willow at all in RWBY was just for thesake of committing this one redeeming act which, in my opinion, should’ve goneto Whitley since, as I’ll stress again, HE’S THE SCHNEE WHOSE STRAINEDRELATIONSHIP WITH WEISS HAD MORE FOCUS ON BACK IN V4!!! WHY ARE YOU FOCUSING ONWILLOW---THE CHARACTER YOU BARELY SHOWED IN V4 AND BARELY HAD WEISS CARE ABOUTUNTIL V7?

And please DO NOT tellme about the RWBY DC Comics.

In my opinion again, the RWBY DC Comics are threeto four years TOO LATE. If theshowrunners SERIOUSLY wanted ME (not speaking for anyone else here but myself)to care about Weiss and her mother, they should’ve established their relationshipa lot better in the actual MAIN animated series instead of waiting years laterafter V4 passed to tell me about this relationship that was practically non-existentin the series until the comics were made.

Apologiesagain but this squiggle meister didn’tcare for Willow Schnee helping Weissespecially since that was the only thing they had her do for this season. Youshaft Whitley to give something he could’ve done to this character that the audiencebarely spent time with before. Really?That’s what you do to my boy?

And what made it worse in my eyeswas having Willow tell Weiss that she should care more about her brother. Letme say that again. WILLOW---THIS CHARACTER WHO WE HAVE NOT SEEN FOR THREE WHOLESEASONS (including the season when Weiss was home in Atlas) AND DID NOT MEETUNTIL THE EIGHTH EPISODE OF V7--- HAD TO TELLWEISS THAT SHE SHOULD CARE MORE ABOUT WHITLEY.

Allow me to explain why I found thatto be pretty crummy especially if you’rea fan of Whitley. It’s basically the same thing that annoyed me about Oscar’streatment in previous volumes.

Instead of having Whitley be the oneto help Weiss and have this one redeeming act spark Weiss reconsidering herrelationship with her brother for herself and come to that realization on herown, you thought it would be better to have this other character that wasbarely in the story tell Weiss to do it.

I’m sorry I didn’t like that at all.And now because of it, I don’t know what’s going to be done next for Weiss andWhitley. I still wish to believe in the potential of these two Schnee Siblingsfinally sharing a good bond with one another. But unfortunately right now, theseries hasn’t given me much to hope for with how they executed things. Sorry tobe a Debby Downer here but that’s how I’m honestly feeling right now as a Whit.

Instead of having my boy commit oneredeemable act that could’ve sparked the road towards him and his sister makingamends; especially coming off of how things were left between them from V4.Instead of taking the more fitting and previously established approach withinthe animated series; what happens?

You gave it to the non-existentmother whose relationship with Weiss your audience has to consult the questionably canonical comics toread about since we all know the MAINanimated series didn’t do much about that beforehand.

…Right. Apologies for the rant but I’mjust REALLY salty about that. Such a missedopportunity for Whitley.

But then again these are only my thoughts and opinions. Take it as you will. That being said, I guess we’llsee for things go for V8. Maybe that season might surprise us or something.

FE16 Black Eagles (Edelgard) Liveblogging

Up through Chapter 4. At this early stage the plot is nearly identical, so I have to say on the matter.

I haven’t made use of any of the NG+ features yet. I’m stockpiling Renown to finish off the saint statues, and while it’s true that pretty much the whole cast looks better post-timeskip I found it too odd to have them walking around like that during the school phase. It’s also off-putting that you can only toggle the appearances of characters in your current party, so those from the other houses can’t be updated along with them.

Starting with the Lions clearly spoiled me, because I’ve noticed that the Eagles are slightly weaker across the board. Caspar is nowhere near as tanky as Dedue, Ferdinand has taken longer to get going than Sylvain, and while Edelgard is a great frontliner she can’t compare to how Dimitri’s utterly broken growths. As expected the Eagles are as a whole better in the magical department and are proving to be quite flexible in that regard; Hubert and Dorothea both have strong 1-3 range spells, and Linhardt and Dorothea both have Physic for heals that can just about match Mercedes when used in conjunction. Hubert surprised me the most, as I’m so used to heavy and inaccurate dark magic that’s pretty much worth using only for its overpowered gimmick spells (FE7 Luna, FE13 Nosferatu). Hubert’s accurate, fast enough to double around half the time, and as mentioned versatile with Mire’s 1-3 range.

I’ve been challenging myself not to use Byleth at all, mostly because I did it once before and I’m utterly bored with him. The only problem with this that I can see is that it will hinder support grinding, but Byleth has so many opportunities to build support outside of combat that it hasn’t shown itself to be that big a deal.

Edelgard’s first support with Byleth is locked until later in the game. I remember people were theorizing that supporting her was necessary to get her route, but I think that’s been disproven.

Character/Story observations

So far it’s all been much the same as my Lions playthrough, which in itself is a bit strange. I still put down Lonato’s rebellion, this time with less context, and next chapter I’ll be heading off to kill Sylvain’s brother. Dedue and Sylvain are still the ones introducing basic monastery features during the first exploration session too. For all that Edelgard/the Eagles were the favored house in pre-release marketing and get the most overall story focus in the war phase, it’s the Lions who have that privilege in the school phase. You just can’t get away from all the crushing personal drama in Faerghus.

Outside of supports the only notable story difference is that Edelgard expresses vague approval for Lonato’s actions after he’s been killed. Of course she’s also playing coy about stringing along the Western church and commanding the Death Knight, but that’s only something that comes from reading spoilers online the hindsight of a second playthrough.

On supports: Ferdinand is a pompous ass with his heart in the right place, and I kind of love him. Too bad he’s only got the one same-sex option, but I guess he’s secretly got a goth kink? Forays into loving women aside I also find Dorothea very relatable; she hunts for sugar daddies because she knows her looks will fade, and she’s not above propositioning dense men like Caspar who think they’re going to get sex but instead get roped into manual labor. Hubert is...weird. I can’t tell if the severe pseudo-vampire thing is all an elaborate act or it’s just naturally creepy and abrasive. Caspar and Linhardt don’t resemble Ike and Soren at all in personality, so their relationship is more of an aesthetic callback than anything.

And...right, Bernadetta. Why is she the fandom’s newest #1 waifu? Are that many straight men seriously attracted to women with absolutely no social graces who are under the impression that everyone wants to (literally) kill them? I’m aware of her abusive family life and I presume her supports will involve less screaming and running away as they progress, but at this point I find her very annoying.
