seungcheol knew he had royally fucked up.

the details didn't matter now. it had been a while now – six months to be exact – and he still couldnt get over you. he'd see you around town occasionally, and you'd look perfectly fine. how could you be fine when he was so empty without you in his life? were you really better off without him?

he tried to move on, he really did, but no one was like you. the type of love you had was the type he wanted to be his endgame. there was no question about it. which was why he needed to fix his this.

it started with attempts to be in the same spaces as you again. he would find out where you'd be from mutual friends (okay, a little stalkerish, but it was fine!) and make sure to be in attendance to any party you'd go to. lucky for him, you were best friends with his good friends soonyoung and vernon, which gave him the perfect opening to approach you every time. at first you'd look peeved off by his presence, but after a few times you seemed to warm up to him, even laughing at his jokes sometimes. after a few weeks of intruding your friend hangouts, it was as if he'd always been there.

the day finally came in which you'd been left alone together at a party, with both soonyoung and vernon leaving one by one. it was getting late, so seungcheol offered to walk you home, which you surprisingly accepted with a polite smile. you talked like old friends on your way back, never once making any mention of the relationship you used to have. that made cheol both sad and relieved. it was good you weren't hurt by it anymore, but did this mean you were now looking for a mere friendship out of him? he had tried to bring back the old dynamics between the two of you. he had even been as physically affectionate as your newly-developed friendship would allow, but it seemed like that wasnt what you were looking for. seungcheol couldnt help but carry the disappointment in his face as the two of you arrived to your home.

"cheol? what's wrong?", you asked as soon as you caught sight of his face.

The actual fact that bot is literally fighting their mom is wild, EVEN FAN EXPECTED THEM TO FORGIVE EACH OTHER!!

But after all of this, she really didn’t win anything

Mmm you every have scenario's regarding near-human Angela swimming in your head? Like how Angela could eventually potentially feel the cold and be affected by it.

The first time she actually gets sick she's absolutely suffering from the experience. The patron librarians noticing and freaking the fuck out until someone like Hokma or Roland strolls in being like "everyone calm your tits it's just a damn cold". meanwhile Angela gets to be miserably dramatic as she tries to power through the illness.

Alternatively, Angela initially not getting why Roland wasn't feeling great after the Snow Queen abnormality fight being that she couldn't feel the cold yet.

Then Angela goes on to the final realization, gets to the Frost Splinter phase and being able to feel and be affected by the cold, is immediately like "...I suddenly realize why they didn't like that fight. (=n=);" and just- *it's clear the brain worm thoughts are winning tonight*

Sorry for the ramble just your headcanons for Angela gives me a lot of joy and inspiration, I'd love to hear your thoughts on your personal near-human Angela headcanons if you have any!

ouhghg man iam Always thinking abt stuff like this yea. yeag? yea. ijust always wonder about how. weird. it must be, suddenly dealing with a whole slew of mess youve never had to. like, by all means, very trivial things, but odd nonetheless.

like, you ever think about how weird it is to stop perceiving time so slow? just, eventually, slowly but surely, there's this... quiet. this silence. and its silence, it creeps up on you-- it doesnt announce its arrival. how relieving must that have been? to stop or slow down and realize: its quiet. nothing is firing off in the back of your head-- after all, youve spent your entire life juggling anything and everything at all times-- how must it suddenly feel to truly and finally just... sit. and wait. and have nothing happen?

...and then theres The Issues. again, it must be really strange, suddenly seeing everything at full speed. processing and storing information at a much much slower rate than youre used to. and then there's the whole New Senses and New Processes thing-- which presents a state i like to refer to as the Reverse Time Dilation. congrats! everything is simultaneously so much more and so much less engaging than youre used to, which somehow conjoins into being both Very Understimulating and Very Overstimulating. at the same time. all of the sudden. so yknow, fun things.

like yeah you could explain away a lot of this but at the same time i cant help but imagine moments off-screen where angela simply has to take a moment and just turn off a while face down on the desk because Everything All The Time and also fuck she can hear herself breathing just. all the time now. that's just all the time? you can just feel your clothes on you all the time? and lying down, her breath is warm and thats nice, but also its warm and that is so, so annoying with everything else going on too.

or like, how quickly she mustve been able to come to conclusions and process information, and now she has to slow down considerably because well. the fallible human mind misremembers, makes mistakes, forgets. which is the point, but also ugh. uuuuuughhhhh.

all in all, Angela's Kind Of Annoying But Ultimately Not That Bad ... whatever that can be called.

okay this kind of changes perspective on how long I assumed he was with stick, though. cause I figured he was kinda young when Jack died, like 10? and then when stick died he was 13/14 ish. but now that I'm looking there really doesn't appear to be ANY change in age from the two time periods. like I think you could say Matt looks older when they go after silvermane but not by MUCH. he looks very early teens in both panels

so what, he got a year with stick? maybe a little more or less depending on how quickly Matt picked up sticks training. also the thing I always thought SUCKED was its clear from these two panels that while stick was a vigilante fighting the good fight or whatever, he was still controlling and looking for child soldiers to fight his war. it means he was probably just as abusive and manipulative.

i wrote a full ask for axelias backstory to provide context but then i realized how long the ask would get . so here i am with half of what i need to rant over AJSJSJA

ANYWAYS axelia (my rogue tiefling who was a street urchin) and astarion are absolutely enemies to lovers in the same way shadowheart and lae'zel would be enemies to lovers !! they initially hate each other w a Passion but thats before they realize how eerily similar they are w their experiences and outlooks, and how the other can only really begin to understand why they behave the way they do

initially axelia hates astarion bc she has Issues with political figures (the start of her Trauma is bc of one bribed politician that fucked her already poor family over .) and while she wouldnt admit it easily she had a bias AJSJAJAJJ the only thing she really cared about when she got out of the nautiloid was to get back to her younger sister (hope). astarion would pick up on the friction pretty quickly and sass her right back the most to the point where its honestly a routine for them to fight and the only thing missing is either of them copying shadowheart and laezel w the blade at the throat

however. axelia got to know more about astarion beyond his facade . what really was the first thing that made her empathize w This One Of All People is how they both really dont trust/like ppl who display themselves as a lawful hero AJSJAJJAJ she grew up as a street urchin who was forced into that position bc of a guy who pretended to be good, and nobody would help her, a starving dirty tiefling child whos providing for both her and her sister, without smth in return ? so yeah no she Fucking Gets It .

time passes on and she develops an old married couple dynamic w astarion AJJSJSJA like still bickering but more lighthearted as they learn to empathize more w each other. fast forward to him trying to seduce her for the first time and it was a "might as well happen" thing for her KWNRKSJAJA she felt comfy enough that she didnt see any reason to refuse, and she didnt want to admit it at the time but she was def growing more unironically fond of him and his company

the more she hears about astarions story the more she gets furious for him and determined to show him that there are people who will fight for him . its the protective kind of love that axelia doesnt even realize is whats happening. she just knows that above all else, cazador needs to Die and she'd be willing to risk her own safety just to help astarion see it through

by this time theyre in a relationship w no labels AJJSAAA basically act 2 relationship. theyre both not exactly sure what they are to each other but they both know they can rely on the other to actually Give A Shit about them. while they both still love to argue and Disrespect each other its the fun kind where they definitely know its just banter at this point that they can easily use to team up on the others <33

act 3 comes and while axelia also gets the fear behind astarion wanting to ascend so badly she also knows that thats not a decision hed be too proud of if he could see the consequences now AJSJAJAJ so ofc spawn route <33

I remember watching The Sandman for the first time and being obsessive over Desire of the Endless IMMEDIATELY, specifically their relatio ship with Dream. They act as an antagonistic force in Dream's story, but I caught on quickly that they were no villain. Desire isnt EVIL, both the character literally and the introspective thought of it. Theyre not MALICIOUS.

Like OF COURSE Desire and Dream piss each other off so much. Do our desires and dreams not war with one another? WE made them that way. The rest of the siblings are never too concerned; their irritability with one another are part of their nature. It is the moment they STOP fighting and work together that is cause of interest; are we not most powerful and our goals and wants align??

Beyond that; Desire is AFFECTIONATE. Theyre loving and touchy, as we've seen them portrayed with Despair. They WANT to be wanted and acknowledged and loved, and mix that with their constant irritability with Dream makes them MISCHIEVOUS and ANTOGINISTIC. They are CONSTANTLY prodding that bear trap. They ALWAYS want to instigate a fight, bc that is when Dream truly provides them the attention they desire. IT MAKES SENSE. THEYRE YOUNGER, and Dream and Desire are so CLOSE. Their realms so often entertwine.

(Its bc of this Im convinced that for all Dream's emo annoyance, he doesn't hate Desire, not really. Hes perfectly aware of their nature, stalemate is a universal balance)

And the thing is as well; Desire is a creature of the moment. Wants and Desires never take into account patience and future plans; that's Dream's domain. They never THINK too far ahead unless what they want is powerful enough, which is why Dream was so taken aback of their plan with Unity, the malicious cruelty of it all, the long term planning that it mustve involved. This was why in Brief Lives when Dream finally surrenders and accepts Death at the hands of the Furies, when Desire won in the end....they were surprised. They got scared. This is canon. They SAID this. They never expected to get this far. Dream had never LET Desire get this far, but at this point Dream had been truly been battered down, suicidal. He WANTED to die. Desire had thought they'd been playing a game like any other, this was never meant to happen.

god hikari's feelings on zenos are complex. primarily she like. Gets It. zenos declares the two of them friends and she feels more seen than she has since coming to eorzea. she loves fighting and its basically the one thing she's confident in. she's more fulfilled as a person than zenos, but the conflation of friendship and fighting to the death is something she understands on a deep level. so she likes zenos! in a fucked up frenemies way!

but she CANNOT for even a moment let ANYONE find out about that. because one, all her other friends are like 'zenos is bad zenos is evil zenos killed thousands of innocent people and inflicted years of oppression on two regions im glad hes dead'. and two, hikari's felt like she has to hide her love of fighting because its a symbol of her past, which she (reasonably) views as evil, and as the warrior of (blinding, brilliant) light, she cant let anyone see any hints of darkness in her.

and then it gets more complex in and after endwalker, bc like he is doing RADICALLY fucked up shit to get her attention and to be perfectly honest theres nothing she'd rather do than fight him, but saving the world is i guess more important, so she has to put it off. and then at the very end of the universe when nobody's around to see and the world is safe, she finally is able to indulge in that desire, and it almost kills her. and then all her friends show up and of course they assume 'oh my god he attacked you without warning and you HAD to fight him poor girl it mustve been so hard he was such a nasty person' and she just has to sit there knowing that it was completely mutual and consensual and my god, she hasnt become a better person at all, has she? and now she's got a big scar to remind her that she's a failure as a hero because her selfishness and violent nature almost killed the savior of the whole world. who would protect etheirys if she wasnt around anymore?

but ultimately, feelings towards herself aside, she was glad they could share that moment, and that he died feeling fulfilled. and at the time, she wouldn't have minded dying together with him.

WHY IS IT IN HIM?? HOW LONG AS IT BEEN IN HIM?? WEVE NEVER HAD HINT OF IT BEFORE THE OTHER YU'S SHOWED UP.

-I WONDER if its the reason he can pendulum summon? how does that ability fit in? this dimension is 'standard' apparently and all the other summoning methods are here. in all other 3 dimensions, theres only (1) method. so. either 'standard' is actually 'pendulum' dimension and something happened where all the other dimensions kinda leaked in, or…theres another?? dimension?? or pendulum is smth…from outside of the main 4…? are we SURE there's only four, bc I know Link Summoning is also a thing in later series, lol... -yuya's demon is obv evil and malicious. actually, BOTH YUTO /AND/ YUGO earlier had the 'kill destroy bite kill' eye glowy moment. so it begs the question if the demon thing isnt in ALL of them somehow…ok, furthering my Theory, the demon split into 4s and went into all of them since they seem to be kinda the same personish but in diff dimensions/raised differently?? and maybe yuris more fucked up than the others bc 1. childhood indoctrination 2. giving into that Things influence more? dont rly know but this is my Theory given what we KNOW when im typing this (ep 47)

(and id argue being mad in this situation is perfectly justified, like, any other time, if he didnt have a rage demon in him?? feels a bit like a bruce banner/hulk situation…) I cant wait for the yuya learns yoga and meditation arc

-i knew sora and yuya were about to duel. he keeps saying 'we were NEVER friends I was just messing around whatever we cant become FRIENDS from a DUEL' have some genre awareness dude. ur gonna be friends. or else. Jiro walked through the front door of the apartment, unintentionally slamming it as he closed it, it had been a long day, Noriko and him fought about nearly everything, he was involved in an on-foot pursue with the police, and lopt still existed.

Needless to say, he was exhausted.

Jirou walked over to and flopped onto the couch, he had been staying at Tadashis apartment for some while now, their apartment that they usually lived in was under renovations, so they all had to find somewhere else, Noriko stayed with Reina, Lopt was… Lopt, and Jiro stayed with tadashi.

It was the closest person he had outside of the revolutionary army,

Kunai sighed, Jiro, as much as he “loved” him, he was quite stubborn, he walked over to jiro, and put his arms under him, picking him up bridal-style for about 2 seconds before setting him on the floor

Kunai tugged at jiros waist band, motioning for him to take off his clothes, jiro did so slowly and reluctantly as kunai turned on the water to the shower.

It was a small bathroom, just enough for the two of them to move around mostly comfortably. 

Kunai set a stool into the shower, motioning Jiro to sit down, Jiro did so as Kunai messed with the shower head, attempting to detach it from its handle.

(look ive only seen a detachable one irl when i was like 7 in my grandmothers apartment and that was so long ago- leave me alone:(pls)

After a minute or so, pulling it down, the pressure felt nice on jiros back, it was hard but not enough to be painful, warm, but not burning.

Kunai lathered something onto jiros hair, he didnt pay attention as to what, more than likely shampoo, he was too tired to care. 

“So, hows it been?” kunai asked in a vagely monotone voice, it wasnt offputting as jiro had heard it a million times since “living” with him.

“Fine i guess” jiro sounded dejected, he wanted this to be over as soon as possible, and small talk wasnt letting that happen. 

“You sound” kunai paused “like theres something on your mind” quickly changing his words.

“Its nothing important” he shot back quickly, it was one thing for even lopt to ask what was wrong, he noticed he mustve been acting strange for even kunai of all people to ask.

“Are you sure? yknow you can tell me anything, i wont tell” kunai said, as he started washing his back with soap.

“Just- i dont know how to explain” he sighed, he felt defeated, the one chance he was able to talk about how he felt, he felt like he blew it.

“just explain it however it comes to you yknow?” kunai moved to washing his neck, making sure to massage it at least a little bit.

“- fine, i dont think im worth anything to anyone, i think people only want to use me in one way or another”

“mhm and?” kunai grabbed at jiros shoulders, attempting to silently tell him to stop being so tense.

“and what? do you think im good at this emotional bullshit? no. no i am fucking not.”

kunai sighed “im just trying to get you to open up, i know that isnt easy”

“Why?”

“What”

“why try and get me to open up? we all know you dont truly care. do you just wanna use me too?” jiro started to speak faster

“is that really all im good for? is that what people see me as? do you see me as someone just to keep around until you get bored and eventually decide to throw out-“

“Relax. your shoulders jiro, relax, youre doing neither of us any favors by tensing up” 

“r-right, sorry” jiro attempted to calm his body down as much as he could.

Kunai continued to wash his back, rinse his hair, put conditioner in his hair, wash his back. 

“Jiro”

“Yea?”

“Do you think… how do i put this without it sounding wrong” he questioned aloud.

“just say it” jiro continued looking at the floor

“Do you think you really “have” anything im intrested in?”

“i dunno, my body i guess?” jiro was thankful that he wasnt facing tadashi at that moment

“Why would you think id want to use your body?”

“i well- because? why not right? thats all im worth”

“who told you that?” kunai was mentally on the verge of tears (or what yk little he “had” shut up lemme have a semi nice tadashi 😭😭)

“Huh?” jiro turned around to face Kunai, confused.

“who told you that youre only worth your body? i mean- i havent known you as long as say noriko, but i know that your worth more than that”

“i dont understand” jiro turned around, not really believing kunai in the slightest. 

“Jiro, youre not stupid” Kunai hugged him from behind, not too tightly, before letting go again.

“youre kind, your funny, youre strong”

“so? thats normal though” 

“i dont know about what youve went through, but if its anything like the rumors in school, it had to have been hell right?” tadashi adjusted the water to be warmer, theyll probably have to get out soon.

“What? i- my life then is no ones concern besides my own” if he had the energy hed glare at him.

“Maybe- maybe not, but it still changed you in some way correct? i mean, you sure do know how to run from the police damn well- and i don’t believe thats something just everyone can do”

Jiro knew at least that part was true, even if he didnt want to believe it.

“but even then, i contribute nothing to anyone” he hugged his own knees toghther attempting to comfort himself.

“is merely surviving after everything youve been through not enough?” Kunai smiled slightly.

“i-“ he stopped, he realized there was no use for him trying to fight tadashi, he knew in one way or another he was right, even if he didnt want to accept it.

Kunai hugged him from behind, before washing the conditioner out of his hair.

soo... first race and we're starting with a good fun fact... uh. i didn't watch this race live! or at all until i started this series!! i only got into f1 starting from australia 23, so this is a weird first post to start on, but - i do remember some tiny snippets. and just some general context about my life at that point, to hopefully make people understand WHY f1 was such a blessing to me and why it means the world to me 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

SO.. i was recovering from an 34ting disorder in early 2023, a devestating one at that that left me unable to even attend uni and be out of bed for more than 2 hours a day. it was, as you can imagine, really really awful. especially because i had NOTHING else to focus on 😨😨 i won't go into much detail as promised but my mind wasn't a very happy or forgiving place AND all my hyperfixations had ran out of juice 🍹🍹🍹 how this correlates with f1 will become much clearer in later posts (starting from australia) but it's... let's just say that f1 really helped me to get out of a dark, evil place 🥰🥹🥹🥹

i HAD been a max fan of course, because i am 🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱 and because i saw him win ad21 live (yeah that somehow didnt turn me into a big f1 fan idk either man im mad at that myself...)🥹 but its fine i at least jumped into it this beautiful year
