I love how messy Katniss and Peeta were lowkey. Like Katniss saying she’s choosing Gale over Peeta, yet spending all her time with Peeta. She’s also thirsting after him and his eyelashes. LITERALLY , the guy Gale is most worried about lmfaoo Peeta thinking that Katniss is with Gale, yet shamelessly flirting with her and cuddling/being overly affectionate with her behind close doors.
Then it really gets messy in MJ, where Katniss is like “yeah just like how it felt wrong kissing Peeta bc of you” to Gale, and several chapters later she legit kisses Peeta in front of Gale, bc that’s is her mf man. And Peeta like spilling the tea about how he and Katniss slept together (obvi not like that) during the victory tour in front of Gale, like ik Gale felt his stomach dropped. And then Peeta back peddling at Gale “oh yeah it’s you who she’s loves, not me,” and atp Gale reaction is to laugh at Peeta’s face. Like Peeta and Katniss really are messy, and I love that bc they’re so down bad for each other, especially Katniss with her pearl and fantasizing Peeta’s lips and hands on her.

(This is the idea I'm tornenting friends with on Discord) Imagine Mario and Luigi regularly using the warp pipe between Brooklyn and the Mushroom Kingdom, and no one realizes the path between the two is slowly breaking down until one day, it stops working...
... And Mario and Luigi are on opposite sides
Me: *sits and contemplates what I just read*
...
Oh...Oh that's just....
You are cruel! That is unspeakably cruel 💔

Dynamite is the youngest of the group having skipped some grades, and he is impulsive, optimistic to a fault, and so direct that he comes across as tactless, but . . .
Fire(fly) avoids discomfort and conflict.
Except when it comes to Dy.
Fire's mother is a lot, so instead of confronting her, he schemes his way into getting what he wants with the help and encouragement of his father.
He pined after Jane from a distance until Dy got her number for him.
Jane broke up with him, and he smiled and said "sure."
He's questioning his sexuality, so Metha takes him to the red-light district.
Fire doesn't move outside of his comfort zone unless someone else is there to push him, yet each and every time he encounters Dy, he immediately yells and argues because Fire is fine with pretending to be happy and skirting around the truth to appease everyone else except with Dy. His life is already planned out, so to have Dy be so direct, so impulsive, and so aware of who he is (gay) is upsetting, and unlike everyone else Fire interacts with, he must let Dy know how he feels.
Ironically, unlike Fire, Dy doesn't scheme to get what he wants. He isn't stalking Fire. He isn't strategically planning to break up Jane and Fire. He simply stumbles upon Fire and impulsively acts on his like.
But this isn't just Dy in love; this is him all the time. Like My Dear Gangster Oppa's Phai and Muffin, Samsee constantly has to tell Dy to tame his wild nature due to his unacceptable and off-putting behavior because instead of needing encouragement like Fire, he needs to be dissuaded.
While Fire lies and conforms, Dy is outspoken and disruptive.
Where Fire lacks confidence, Dy is cocky.
Fire needs Dy to force him to be honest and push him to step out of line, and Dy needs Fire to humble him and teach him how to respect boundaries.
They need each other.
It's about balance.

i just find it funny how will's happiest scene is when he's with mike because mike is his safe place and the person who doesn't make him feel like a mistake for who he is, but then el's happiest scene is when she's without mike because she finally gets to discover herself and what she likes on her own without mike telling her what to do, and max was by her side and teaching her so many things which is what she needed for such a long time

I keep thinking about how the only reason Jackson’s a monster (theoretically) is because of Holt.
And I just wanna be like
Holt wouldn’t exist at ALL if Grampy Henry never fucked up the family genetics.
It would just be Jackson, and Jackson would probably be half monster in of himself if his mom (who would be fully human) still got with a fire elemental.
So really? Holt should be thankful for Jackson. In their case, without a human side, there is no Holt.
