Danny is just a kid ya know? Like he is just a little guy. A baby really. 14? Tiny child! Look at him, he needs to be protected. Someone has to help this poor little dude. I mean he forgets to use his own powers to avoid attacks all the time.

Anyway cut to Batfam not knowing all of Dannys power set cause the lil dingus keeps forgetting he can do that stuff in the heat of battle.

Danny uses his invisibility all the time… to avoid being followed. But in a fight? Oopsies hes too busy thinking of funny one liners to realise he could do that.

Intangibility? Give the guy a break. I mean who calls themselves condiment king. Even he was stunned.

He so rarely actually uses his biggest advantage powers that the League doubt he actually has them. He, like any naive child, trusts them and reported fully on his power set. Instead of just asking him to demonstrate his powers they instead start watching him and try to find evidence of his powers.

At least they know duplication was true since they watched him make a copy of himself to go to the bathroom and not miss any of his fav tv show.

I wish Batman would fuck with the Joker more. I know he can't. Scratch, I know an important piece of their core dynamic is that he is above it, which opens the way to great contrasts when other characters (ie icon Terry Bats) do. But come on, it would be so easy. It would be free.

During a teamup in Gotham, Bats could dreamily remark that he likes Superman because he makes him laugh. What options does the clownfucker have now? Try to jealously kill fucking Superman or simply dive backwards into the Hudson River. The whole thing would take ten seconds of work, and I don't think there'd be collateral damage. Superman's already there.

So I started playing Genshin again, and two Neuvillette x Reader ideas came to mind:

- Seamtress!Reader who lives with Melusines, and whenever Neuvillette comes over for a fix up or a new dress, the Melusines are hiding behind the door or under the window and giggle to themselves because Reader and Neuvillette are both obviously into each other - and imagine the yearning when you touch his skin, his hair, and he's gazing at you with lust in his gorgeous eyes

- Marine Biologist!Reader who spends most of her life researching the existence of the Hydro Dragon, and when she meets Neuvillette, he feels like she understands him in a genuine way - later, of course, he shows her his true form, and since Reader is a freak, monster fucker, you know where this would go.

I LOVE BOTH IDEAS. I'M SCREAMING. I'm so obsessed with him lately that this is a direct attack on my ovaries,,,,especially marine biologist reader,,,I'm thinking about how to make an idea I have with neuvillette work that makes sense and might be long enough for a good plot so maybe I'll take inspiration from this

Dammit, 2-3 hours away from me, next Saturday, there's an unlimited runs oval racing thing happening!! Dammit! I only found out about it a few days ago, definitely not enough time to A) get Marte more comfortable with a racing muzzle and B) figure out how I'm gonna get out there. My weekly sighthound walk buddy is equally bummed out about how short notice we learned of this and how far away it is. Dammiiiit.

the fact that dr. owens knew about henry and still disregarded will talking about The Evil that he'd encountered in the upside down that wanted to kill everyone except for him is so ..... crazy to me lol. he's the director of this lab. he knows what's happening, what has happened, was still working with brenner, knew that the gate was still open and spreading into their world at a rapid pace, and said that he'd been dreading this for some time. the lab records were never destroyed—all of the evidence was there and he was in charge of it. like. holy shit.

and the way he interacts with will versus eleven is so telling, too. with will, he grew a little colder / put up a front when first faced with this information before waving the byers away, telling them not to worry or think anything of it. and then with el in season four, he's chummy with her and has full faith in her from the very start. i don't know if anything would've changed had owens acted when will first told them what happened, but... it just makes everything so much more tragic to me.

will tells them the truth and what is coming and they call him a schizo and want to go ahead with the burn fully knowing and not caring that it will kill him. he's nothing to them. will was right and he wasn't believed, they didn't even want to hear him out until hopper and owens forced them to.

will has always been right there banging his fists on the wall and crying out for help, and yet no one sees or hears him. everyone puts this on eleven and doesn't see that will is right there and that they need him if they want to stand a chance. that he knows things they don't, that he has an advantage that they need but never utilize until it's too late. eleven closed the gate, but will is the one that spied back and told them to in the first place.

like. that's always the problem. they push eleven into things before she's ready and before it's even time, and they never listen to will when he first foretells this story or do anything to help him until it's already way too late. they look to her and only her, when he's always been right there. he has always been "R-I-G-H-T-H-E-R-E", trying with all his might to be seen and heard and acknowledged, and yet... it doesn't work. he rolls the dice, and tries his best, and it isn't enough. it always gets him. always.
