The Ivy trio is so funny to think about in any configuration—platonic, couple+bestie, throuple—because no matter how it is, it's two skrunkly feral cats that share a braincell and this weird lab experiment they picked up and now can't be adopted separately.

Minho and Newt both think they're reasonable, level-headed individuals, and they are...by Glade standards. In literally any other social setting, Newt is a bitch who will hit you with a shovel and Minho will body someone face-first into pavement for talking smack. And Thomas is a weird little lab animal that escaped containment who doesn't know how to have a normal conversation about anything with anyone and is so stressed out he bites anything he doesn't trust, which is basically everything, but also wants friends and skritches.

Someone meets Newt and Minho first and it's like, "Alright, we're gonna introduce you to Tommy, he's a little jumpy sometimes, but since we vetted you, you should be alright," and after meeting these two walking hazards, they are expecting something a whole lot different than a weird little guy with sad Bambi eyes who tells you that alligators can hold their breath for up to 24 hours.

Being able to hear the progression of Odysseus’ soldiers getting smaller and smaller throughout the musical because the echoing is not as strong, it doesn’t sound as full, there’s not as many voices

The echoing comes back stronger when Odysseus is hearing the voices of his lost men in The Underworld. The echoing falls back to a much smaller sound/number of voices when Odysseus’ still alive men are singing with him
