THIS caught me off guard but if you DO equip Ocelot with his tornado’s you do in fact get a completely unique dual wielding POV if you select first person. Which is DELIGHTFUL.

Hello I just wanted to ask if you can do one where Hope has a little sister is another daughter of Hylie and Klaus is named Crystal Mikaelson, she is the light of Hope's eyes and she is the key for Hope to turn on her humanity crystal age is 6 months
The Little Key
Tumblr media
Baby female Mikaelson reader x Hope Mikaelson
Warnings: swearing, thats all
A/n: I did change the oc name to just y/n, cause that's what I'm used to writing and the age is a bit bumped up to around almost a year old to fit better with the fic, but she's still female. I hope you like it 💗
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Josie bounces you in her arms with one of her hands on the back of your head while you're crying your eyes out. Your sobs and crying are silent, wanting your big sister and everyone can tell you miss her even if you can't speak coherently yet.
You remember the feeling of another woman but she's been gone a long time. Now it's only Hope, your big sister, you have that same feeling with.
Josie holds you close and stands up from the couch in the living room, trying to quiet and calm you down a bit. Lizzie, Kaleb, MG, Finch, and Cleo are the only other ones in the room. They're all standing or sitting, trying to come up with a plan to get Hope's humanity back.
They hear heels clicking on the hardwood floor, "Hmm, I can help you with that. Stop trying" Hope walks into the Library with her arms crossed.
She glances at you for a moment before quickly moving her vision over to everyone else standing up now. Cleo starts a spell on her, but Hope picks up on it straight away and knocks the witch out with an easy spell. The older witch falls back onto the couch, unconscious.
"Hope, what are you doing here?" Josie asks, hiding your face under her jean jacket so you don't see any other incidents that may come.
"Do I need a reason to come back to my old school?" Hope rhetorically says.
You let out a loud whine, tears subsiding, hearing your sister's voice and wanting to go to her. You manage to escape from under Josie's jacket and make a grabby hand toward Hope while your other hand is holding onto Josie's shirt collar.
"What about your baby sister? The old you would have never been this unthoughtful" Josie exclaims, tightening her grip as hard as she can without hurting you.
Hope laughs with a scoff mixed in, she says, "This is your big plan? Saying some tiny touching thing about my sister and then insulting me? Heh, you can do better".
She started to walk over to the brunette twin. Lizzie moves quickly and stands in front of you both.
"What? You really think I'd hurt my own sister and the girl I had the smallest crush on for a measly week?" Hope chuckles at the taller girl.
She raises her hands and snaps the heretic's neck effortlessly before she could answer. After, she casts an immobilization spell on everyone except you.
Vamping over, Hope takes you into her arms and leaves the school before the spell wares off.
All of your tears immediately subside and your breathing levels out as you cling to the tribid.
She walks into the abandoned Mikaelson mansion that your guys' family used to live in for around two years. She's been staying in the house since a week after she turned her humanity off.
Hope walks up the staircase after locking the door and enters the room which she's taken, which is Klaus', or used to be anyways.
She puts you down on the bed and starts pacing back and forth. A second later you raise your hands up, wanting to be back in your sister's arms.
"What the hell is wrong with you, why'd you take her. There was absolutely no reason to, ughh. No, no way am I turning the damn thing back on. I see what your doing" Hope rambles to herself and her mind trying to get her to flip it back on, ignoring your pleas to be back in her hold.
"Hhh-o,mmhh" you whine, not being able to pronounce it.
You keep trying over and over, not being able to get it right, and Hope paying no mind to your babbling.
She can already feel her switch flittering between off and on, but she pauses as soon as she hears the word that comes out of your mouth.
"Ho...Hop... Hope" you finally pronounce correctly and yell out to your sister.
"What'd you just say?" She walks over and finally picks you up from the made bed.
"...Hope," you say again.
She closes her eyes, trying to fight off her switch, but after some time it was no use. Opening them back up slowly, she looks down at you in her grasp, holding onto a lock of her wavy auburn hair.
"Hey y/n/n, I'm sorry. I'm here now sweetie" Hope holds your tiny frame against her tightly, not wanting to let go.
You lay your head on her collarbone with a hand still in her hair, content and happy being back with your big sister.
"You said your first word" she whispers into your hair and kisses your head.
Can you please make hc!Laxus having an S/O that’s stronger than him? I’m tired of reading the same helpless damsel in distress type trope (peace and love to the ones out there tho-)
Like what would his initial thoughts be on them? I can imagine him being intimidated but as time passes, maybe having someone watching his back for once is kinda nice. Also some angst for ya is when S/O gets hurt and laxus gotta tend to em.
Sorry this is all over the place this is mg first time submitting a request— Anyways I love your content you’re doing so well *mwah*
Summary: Headcanons where Laxus is in a relationship with S/O who’s stronger than him
Pairing: Laxus Dreyar x GN!S/O.
CW: Fluff, bruises, spoiler (Battle of Fairy Tail arc), grammatical error, OOC.
A/N: AHHHH I MADE THIS BE4 (IT STAYS ON MY NOTE OWJFKMAOFMSOFNDJ) (´∩。• ᵕ •。∩`) IT'S OK ANON EHEHEHEHE, I HOPE U LIKE THIS (*˘︶˘*).。*♡ ALSO IM GLAD U LOVE MY WORK (EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT RLY GOOD) WKNFOAMFOWNJDNS
Tumblr media
The famous Laxus Dreyar is in a relationship with someone STRONGER than him? Wow, what an amazing sight. Well, look, no one can mess with the two of you. Of course, he feels cocky when you fight (because he could show off to everyone how strong his lover is).
Not to mention he's very proud with you. He doesn't care if you're stronger than him or not, he still loves you, S/O. Everytime he sees you fighting, this man smirks and chuckles. You look badass, seriously.
Has everyone see a powerful person right there who's fighting a tough enemy all alone? Yeah, that's HIS beloved lover. Actually, your Pikachu right there is relieved that you can protect yourself. So, he doesn't have to worry about it.
If you want to go to a mission ALONE, it's still difficult for him to let you go. A little debate will happen if it's an S class mission. In the end of the day, he lets you go even though he'll be... A little bit grumpy and worried about you.
You want to spar with him? Hmm... That's a difficult request right there. Laxus knows you're stronger than him, yet he doesn't want to hurt you (throwback where he hurts his own family in Battle of Fairy Tail). Probably a little bit of spar won't be too much.
BUT, there are times where he feels... Annoyed by your power. Annoyed? Intimidated? Sort of. Probably because he isn't used to have a lover or a person (beside a few people) by his side who's stronger than him. He's used to protecting people, not being protected.
If you have a few or some bruises from a battle, prepare your heart, because Laxus will give you a lecture. S/O, dear, he's worried about you so it's normal for him to be like this. Still, he treats your wound and praises you for doing a great job out there. Just don't make his heart stops again with those bruises and wounds.
“Listen, babe, I know you can protect yourself but at least be careful."
My Fantasy Books
All my stories take place in a fantasy world called the Pentagonal Dominion. It's a collection of planes connected to Earth, but I don't include humans (with one exception). Any time I mention a year, it's that world's year, not in any way connected to years on Earth.
Please be aware that ALL my books are for 18+ only. Though they vary in the exact kind of content, you can expect them all to include some degree of violence, swearing, sexual content, or dark themes not appropriate for MG or YA books.
Tumblr media
Map of the PD made by @dewiwrites
Merchants of Knowledge and Magic is my first novel, taking place in the year 561.
STATUS: Published
Tumblr media
Cover was drawn by @crossroadart-seabear . In fact, for the sake of making tags easier, all the art I'm going to include in this update post will be by them, lol.
It follows the journey of an intersex dragonfly-person, Calinthe, who travels across the many planes of the Pentagonal Dominion in search of secrets which she feeds to her boss in exchange for goods and promises of retirement. Calinthe follows a religion which forbids its followers from using money. She is sent on a quest by her boss, the Demon Lord of Ignorance, to retrieve his henchman who was captured by slavers in the Women's Republic of Ophidia, a land where women enslave all men, intersex, agender, trans, or any people they deem "not female enough" by their standards.
MoKaM is the 'brain' or 'mind' of the Merchants trio. Calinthe is intelligent, clever, sassy, and a little bit arrogant. She devoted to her God, Lucognidus, but around others, she can be brash.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Merchants of Light and Bone is my second novel, taking place in the year 561 concurrently with MoKaM.
STATUS: Due to be published in August 2023
Tumblr media
Pictured above: Su, one of Amiere's two spouses.
MoLaB is the story of a father who lost his daughter in a freak earthquake accident and his journey through coping with trauma, saving a girl who is being abused by her father, and seeking answers for his own daughter's strange death (after all, how can a freak earthquake happen in a world with no plate tectonics? They don't even have a word for 'earthquake').
MoLaB's setting is tropical, taking place almost entirely on Aloutia, on the equatorial coastline. The main character, Amiere, is a polyamorous bisexual lion-man with a wife, enby husband, and several kids. He works as a merchant of light, carving glowing crystals into statues for customers.
MoLaB is the 'heart' or 'soul' of the Merchants trio. It emphasizes powerful, sad emotions, contrasting beautiful scenery with the tempest of emotions bubbling inside Amiere's heart.
Tumblr media
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Merchants of Dance and Hedonism is the third Merchants novel, taking place in the year 561 concurrently with MoKaM and MoLaB
STATUS: On hold
MoDaH is about a genderless shapeshifting person, Tynan, who came into existence at the start of the book. Born with the power to transform into almost anything (within a size limit) and the power to *know* anything they wish, they are born as the perfect assassin. Which is exactly what a "merchant of dance" is: a magic-using assassin sent to eradicate other magic-users, demons, or high-class targets. If Tynan chooses not to engage in such activities, their country will end up going to war with Ophidia (feminist nation which enslaves all non-women) and the Makai (demon nation that kills all people to recycle their parts and revive them as demons). And if that happens, their sisters will be drafted into the war as child soldiers.
MoDaH is the 'body' of the Merchants trio. Tynan is a shapeshifter and many of the problems they face are solved through creative and clever use of transformations.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good Thyme With Bad Company takes place in the year 300.
STATUS: Currently writing
It's less of a traditional novel and more of a collection of short stories, microfiction, and completely out-of-place smut about the cast of characters who have infested my mind palace for the last few months.
It's best described as "Polycule of characters living in a dystopic capitalist steampunk hellscape fighting to change the genre of their book to cozy fantasy."
The characters live and work in a warm, steampunk/fantasy aesthetic inn called the Good Thyme Inn, working to pay their ever-increasing rent while finding joy and love in their fellow found family members, many of whom have faced horrific traumas.
Tumblr media
The second half of the book, once some of their problems have been 'resolved', focuses on the cozy aspects. These characters love and adore one another and many scenes in this part of the book will be cute, slice-of-life, or smutty in nature, while laying low on the trauma or violence.
This book is currently my precious. It's near and dear to my heart. I am obsessed with my characters and their dynamics. I hope my readers will fall in love with them as much as I have!

the iconic trio but if they were normal kids with normal lives, normal parents and in a normal town
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is a little peak of my modern/slice of life au that I love, it's literally one of the first things me and my bestie did when getting into mgs. it's very wholesome and cutesy, the exact opposite of its source material. I will talk about it fully later though, as I have other things planned for this month. This au is completely safe for other people to insert their OCs in. It is also set in Alaska, and most birthdates remain unchanged. But I'll give you some fun facts about this three little fucks and their normal lives as kids in my au.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eli Sears (12 y/o)
Son of John and Eva Sears
half white American half Italian (in my head Eva is Italian stfu)
is the middle child (for a few seconds) and gets treated like it
lives in a very fucked up family (fucked up in the Family guy way)
vapes (thinking it's cool)
the vapes are stolen from uncle Venom
he despised his brother since the day they came out of their mother
acts all mean and angsty but still cries to his mama when he can't do his math homework
thinks he is the leader of the trio
cant tie his shoes
has braces
is a bit of a bully, or at least tries
is in their chuch's choir (in this AU the Sears are Catholics)
has a skateboard
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Azedi Miller (14 y/o)
Adoptive daughter of Kaz Miller, that single-fathered her for most of her life
has a very deep and healthy bond with her dad, even if he is very overprotective
her race and ethnicity are the same, and she is still in touch of her culture even if she has been raised by an American man. But now she has a more southern accent, coping her dad.
at 14 she became a loving older sister of Catherine Miller was born
tomboy, and is a soccer champion
is the bodyguard of the trio (the one who protects and takes all the countabilty of their actions because she is the oldest)
tries to hold Eli from doing dumbshit most of the time, but at the end joins him
is a scout girl
has lived in the countryside in her first years.
gets herself into dangerous shit because her little ADHD brain tells her to do them
Azedi is neighboors with Quiet, that is Eli's cousin bcs in this AU she was adopted by Venom (don't ask why), and they are besties even if Az is 14 years younger than Quiet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tretij Rebenok (12 y/o)
lives in a foster-care home
autistic and has been nonverbal since 7th grade
knows that he is slavic, doesn't know much else of his past
trans boy, but only his friends know about it (even though, since he didn't talk, they only ever adressed him with "It")
he is the racoon of the trio (lives in a trash can and bites)
scares a lot of people just by the way he looks and is banned from most public spaces
instigates Eli into doing dumb shit
deadname is unknown. Before he asked them to call him Tretij they just called him "the other one" or "third friend"
literally eats bugs
in his foster home he is a neglected a bit, so he may often look messy and he may stink
he has a burnt scar on half of his face (I had to make up for the canon scars)
evilest fucking kid ever
just hangs in the background most of the time thankfully though
Some other fun facts about the trio in the au
Azedi and Eli have known each other since they were born, since their dads are buddies. they met Tretij when they entered primary school and became the neighborhood's terrors ever since
they raid Ocelot's house every once in a while
Eli and Azedi used to communicate with Tretij with mostly sign leanguege, that they learned with Quiet (since she is also autistic and nonverbal in this AU), when he was nonverbal, even though they also didn't really need to sign anything with Tretij bcs he understood them even without gestures (since they are that close with each other :3)
Eli and Azedi had started dating at the end of Eli's 7th grade, but the only thing that they do different from what they do with Tretij is giving each other little kisses and calling each other petnames
also Miller despises Eli, but this is in all universes
they all have matching bracelets made by Az

ALRIGHT--Intro to Splatoon here! Basically, Splatoon is this shooter game developed and published by Nintendo, played exclusively on the Nintendo switch (though the first game was a Wii-U exclusive). The game features battles between Inklings and Octolings who are evolved versions of squids and octopi respectively, and the main mode of the game involves them using weaponized ink to cover territory and "splat" people on opposing teams! I'll get into battle modes near the end, but weapons are the most extensive, so I'll be talking about that first. All of this info is for Splatoon 3--the most recent splatoon--and is somewhat true for the last two games (with differences) So!! to the basics!!!
There are many different classes of weapons
Shooters, Rollers, Chargers, Sloshers, Splatlings, Dualies, Brellas, Blasters, Brushes, Stringers, and Splatanas
Shooters are very straight forward, but not every shooter is the same. They all tend to be frontline weapons
I'm gonna go over all of them
In a very basic overview, i'll combine some weapons to the same description
Starting with Shooters!!
The Sploosh-o-matic family (3 variants), Splattershot Jr. (2 variants), Splattershot family (3 variants) and Splash-o-matic family (2 variants) are very close range, high accuracy shooters.
They're very accessible, lightweight, and flexible
Out of these the most notable is splash-o-matic (i may refer to it as Splash from now on) because of it's perfect accuracy relative to everything else
They all shoot very quickly
The aerospray mg, rg, and (not in the game but in the last two, so will likely be added) pg are all the same weapon with different kits; they're very efficient at turfing and spreading ink but not good at much else with terrible range and all
The .52 gal (2 variants) and the Nzap (2 variants) are a little longer range with a slightly higher ttk
Nzap has a great strafing time, is very lightweight
.52 gal has lower accuracy and takes a bit longer
Splattershot Pro (2 variants) are some of the longer range shooters, they have high ink consumption (basically you have to reload them a lot faster since they take up more 'ammo')
.96 gal is the same as .52 gal but a longer range and also, it's more powerful but with low accuracy and a worse firing rate (pretty slow)
Dual squelchers and Jet squelchers are very similar with a long range and low fire rate/damage, jet squelcher has a longer range than dual
L-3 Nozzlenose and H-3 Nozzlenose are the same kind of dynamic
L-3 is low damage mid range and H-3 is mid damage longer range
HOWEVER
L-3 and H-3 are both semiautomatic
Which basically means instead of holding down a shooting button
You have to tap it every time you want it to fire
So it's like carpal tunnel inducing lol
The last shooter is the squeezer
The squeezer has two firing modes: semi-automatic and fully automatic. Pulling the trigger once will squirt out a single shot with perfect accuracy, medium power, and longer range. Holding the button leads to a large amount of short range, less accurate, low powered shots.
Rollers are next
Rollers can be pushed along the ground instead of shooting, leaving a trail of ink for turfing. They attack by flinging ink and damage is also dealt if enemies come into contact with the weapon while it is being pushed, and with some weapons you can crush the opponent in one hit. Rollers can also do a thinner, long-ranged vertical swing when the player is in mid-air.
Tumblr media
So you can see the "rolling" mode above!
Splat roller is the standard roller, flexible for whatever. It has decent range and mobility
Carbon roller is a more light, mobile roller that has a fast rolling speed. It has extremely fast flicks in exchange for a very short range. It is unable to crush opponents in one hit.
Dynamo Roller is a very clunky, heavy roller. It deals high damage and can throw ink farther than all other rollers. However, it is very slow and consumes the most ink of any roller. It also takes forever to attack with a big delay between hitting the button and the actual attack.
Flingza roller is a roller that changes shape when performing a vertical swing. Its horizontal swing and rolling mode are similar to that of the Splat Roller, while its vertical swing is slow but has better range, inking, and damage like the dynamo (but not as much)
Big swig roller is like the aerospray of rollers if it makes sense; it inks a lot more than other rollers and has wider range. It is extremely ink efficient and fast while rolling. Its swings are somewhat quick but tend to be weaker compared to other rollers. It cannot splat opponents with a single horizontal swing, and it cannot crush opponents in one hit unlike most other rollers, so it kills pretty slowly compared to other rollers.
Next up we have chargers
They are mostly just...Snipers. Consider them snipers.
You just charge shots like loading them, similarly to loading a shot in a sniper rifle, I guess.
The standard charger is the splat charger, featuring a long range and a decent charge time.
Squiffer is a short-range charger with a fast charge time
E-Liter 4k is a charger with extremely good range (likely the longest of any weapon of the game) and amazing damage in exchange for a slow charge time and heavy ink consumption.
Bamboozler 14 MK I is a mid-range charger with an extremely fast charge time. However, its fully charged shots cannot splat opponents in a single hit unlike most other chargers.
Goo tuber is mid-range charger that can hold both full and partial charges for an exceptionally long time at the cost of a veeeeeery slow charge time. A single partially charged shot from this weapon can deal enough damage to splat an undamaged target on its own. However, it's very bad in matches and isn't used often competitively.
Snipewriter 5h is a long-range charger that holds five, medium-damage shots per full charge so you don't have to charge each shot separately, but it needs two hits to splat an opponent. It's like a shooter version of a charger with a shorter range as well
Next up are Sloshers
Sloshers are single-shot, bucket-like weapons that hurl ink in an arc. The ink can be hurled over obstacles to hit opponents as well. Some sloshers allow the player to ink in different ways, such as hurling ink in three different directions simultaneously or shooting out long-range projectiles which explode on impact with solid surfaces.
Tumblr media
They look similar to that
Or some look more like washing machines
The one in the image is the regular slosher, with balanced performance. It can curve its sloshes to cover a wider area.
Tri slosher is a slosher that throws ink in three directions simultaneously. It has a high fire rate, but lower damage output and range.
Sloshing machine is a Slosher that launches a small mortar-like glob that is trailed by a vortex of ink. The vortex has a small splash damage radius, while the glob itself does higher damage, with a smaller hitbox.
It needs a pic though since that sounds confusing af
Tumblr media
It's like its own projectile
Bloblobber is a long-ranged slosher. This bathtub of a slosher fires a line of four bubbles which will bounce along the ground and can even reflect on walls. It's also the only slosher that can splat in one swing.
The projectiles in this one are just little orbs
Explosher is one slosher that shoots a slow, long-range projectile that explodes on impact with solid surfaces. It has a high ink consumption cost and pretty poor mobility. However the projectile can keep moving even after hitting an enemy.
Finally the Dread Wringer fires two sloshes in succession, allowing for a wide attack area when spread out or concentrated damage when aimed at the same spot. It has good range and inking capabilities at the cost of a pretty low fire rate.
Next up: Splatlings
Splatlings are minigun type weapons that generally have a high rate of fire and considerable range. In-game, they operate similar to chargers but release a stream of small ink bullets instead of a single powerful one. Like chargers, a full charge is necessary to achieve the maximum potential range and firing duration. They all tend to have pretty poor mobility like the chargers as well
Heavy splatling is the standard splatling. Its stats are well-rounded, having no glaring strengths or weaknesses.
The Mini Splatling is a light splatling with a short charge time but shorter range. It allows users to strafe quickly while charging and firing.
Hydra Splatling is the Splatling with the longest range in its class. It can fire continuously for a lengthy period of time, with the drawback being its ink consumption and high charge time. When fully charged, a high-damage feature activates, allowing users to splat opponents with only three hits.
Ballpoint Splatling is a Splatling with two different firing modes, an initial short ranged firing mode with a high fire rate and a secondary firing mode that has a slower fire rate but longer range and perfect accuracy. Unlike most other splatlings, it can interrupt its fire to recharge so the charge time isn't as bad. Upon completing a full charge, subsequent charges will retain the secondary mode attributes until the charge is entirely expended.
The Nautilus is a shorter ranged Splatling with a medium charge rate. The weapon boasts the ability to store its charge much like some chargers and can interrupt its fire to recharge. Its accuracy in the air is comparable to its accuracy when grounded.
And finally the heavy edit splatling is a Splatling with a slow charge time, but a very high fire rate when fully charged.
Then dualies!!
Dualies are paired sets of ink guns that give their user the ability to dodge roll. After a dodge roll, the two dualies are held together by the player, enhancing their performance in various ways depending on the dualie. It’s like dual wielding two guns
Splat dualies are the first available pair of dualies in the Splatoon series. They feature balanced performance, having no particular strength or weakness.
Dapple dualies have a quick dodge roll, a high fire rate, and high-damage shots that splat opponents in three hits. However, they are quite lacking in range.
Glooga dualies are a long-range, high-damage pair of dualies with a low fire rate. Shot damage and range increases after a dodge roll, splatting opponents with two hits.
Dualie Squelchers have the longest range in its class, as well as the most mobile dodge roll. The dodge roll is quick and allows the user to continue to slide instead of being locked in place. It’s basically the dual squelcher times 2
Tetra Dualies are big on mobility. They allow up to four consecutive dodge rolls instead of the normal two, and also allow shooting while rolling.
Off to brellas:
Brellas are shotgun-like weapons with deployable shields. Depending on the brella model, the shield can be held in front of the user or launched forward. Brellas can also fire while the brella is opened giving the user a shield like cover, but the cover can usually be destroyed after a few shots.
The splat brella is the standard Brella, featuring a middle range and high damage.
The tenta brella is a heavier brella with a larger, more durable shield. Its shots have longer range and deal enough damage to splat opponents in one hit at the cost of a slow rate of fire.
The undercover brella is a lightweight brella that can be fired while its shield is open. In exchange, it is unable to launch its shield. The rate of fire is quick compared to the other brellas, but the damage dealt by each shot is low and its shield is weaker than other Brellas.
They also just–look like umbrellas, to help with the visual
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then we have blasters
Blasters are weapons that commonly fire large globs of ink with a delayed explosion. Often these explosions aren't the best for inking turf, but better for splatting opponents, for example, the explosion allows users to attack opponents located behind obstacles, around corners, or while on lower ground.
The standard blaster, rightly named just the Blaster, has a slow firing speed but is well-rounded otherwise.
The Luna Blaster is a blaster with short range but above average fire rate, blast radius, and ink efficiency. It is capable of splatting an opponent with one direct hit.
The range blaster is a revised version of the Blaster that boasts higher range at the cost of a slower fire rate.
The clash blaster is a blaster that fires huge short-ranged blasts in very quick succession, but its low damage makes it hard to splat opponents with it.
The rapid blaster fires long range blasts at a good fire rate, with reduced damage and blast radius.
The rapid blaster pro is a modified version of the Rapid Blaster that can hit at even longer ranges, but has a slower fire rate, and uses more ink per shot.
The S-Blash 92’ is a slow-firing, one-shot capable blaster with two firing modes, short-range and long-range. The short-range mode is triggered by shooting in the air, and fires a huge short-ranged blast. The long-range mode is triggered by shooting on the ground, and fires a long-ranged, high-velocity shot with a small blast radius.
Then Brushes
Brushes can be pushed along the ground, much like rollers. They are especially fast but leave a narrow trail of ink. They do not deal nearly as much contact damage, making crushing enemies virtually impossible. However, instead of flinging large waves of ink, brushes quickly swipe from side to side, flicking many smaller globs. This rapid-fire flick is their primary means of spreading ink and attacking enemies, making them ideal for fast, close-combat action.
The inkbrush is a fast but short-ranged brush. When pushed along the ground, the user moves at extremely high speed, and leaves behind a narrow trail of ink. Damage is low, as the user needs to land four globs of ink to splat an opponent.
The octobrush is a slower brush with decent range. Movement speed while pushing it along the ground is a bit slower compared to the Inkbrush. Only three hits are needed to splat an opponent.
The Painbrush is the last brush with long range and slow swing speed. Its damage is the highest one among the brushes: if landed at close range, only two splashes of ink are necessary to splat an opponent, and four splashes of ink at maximum range.
Then stringers–
Stringers are large bow weapons that fire similar to a charger. They have vertical and horizontal shots, similar to the rollers. They shoot three strings of ink per shot.
The tri-stringer is a stringer that has two levels of charge to unleash charged shots that briefly freeze before exploding, but cannot store its charge.
the reeflux 450 is a more lightweight stringer that can store its charge, but cannot fire explosive shots. With tap shots it deals about the same damage as the Tri-Stringer but fully charged it deals more damage.
AND THE SPLATANAS AS THE LAST WEAPON GROUP
Splatanas are sword-like weapons that are used similar to a brush, without the rolling function. Instead, if the shooting button is held, it will charge a more powerful vertical swing. The shots will travel in the air for some time, splashing ink beneath them.
The standard Splatana is the Splatana Wiper. When the button is tapped, it performs a quick slash that fires a fast-moving ink-trailing projectile. When charged up, it performs a stronger vertical slash. If the charge is released while moving forward, the user will lunge forward a short distance before firing.
Finally the splatana stamper is a heavier Splatana compared to the standard. It has a slower rate of fire, but its ink projectiles are wider, travel further, and deal more damage. These aren't all the weapons as there have been new ones since I wrote this, but they're all pretty similar and they all fall into the main types I discussed.
Each weapon comes with a kit (like they do in many other games); so each weapon comes with a “sub” and a “special”
Subs are usually bombs
the og one is the splat bomb, a basic bomb that explodes after a short period of time. It can be rolled or thrown. The explosion timer will only progress while the bomb is touching the ground.
suction bombs are a bomb that can be attached to any surface. It explodes after a moderate period of time and has a larger blast radius than the Splat Bomb.
Burst bomb is a bomb that explodes on impact. Multiple Burst Bombs can be thrown without having to refill the ink tank. They deal less damage than other bombs; two direct hits or three indirect hits will splat an opponent, or they can be used in combination with the main weapon.
A curling bomb is a bomb that travels in a straight line across the floor, leaving a trail of ink and bouncing off of walls and obstacles. It explodes after its timer expires. The maximum distance of the Curling Bomb can be shortened by holding the deployment button to 'cook' the timer before release. This makes the blast radius larger.
The autobomb walks towards any nearby enemies before exploding.
An ink mine is just a bomb that hides in ink once planted. It deals damage to enemies that get too close. It also applies a tracking effect to its victims, letting everyone on the user's team know where the victim is.
Toxic mist is a bomb that releases a cloud of poison mist which causes negative status effects to opponents that come into contact with it. Affected enemies will suffer from reduced mobility and gradual loss of ink supply.
The point sensor is a bomb that explodes in a spherical cloud. The cloud tags enemies with a tracking effect that shows their location to everyone on the user's team.
The splash wall is a barrier made of falling ink. It blocks enemy movement and enemy fire.
The sprinkler continually sprays ink in a circular area around itself in a staggering motion, until it is broken by enemy fire or the deployer gets splatted (aka killed). It can be thrown onto virtually any surface.
The squid beakon is a device that allows the user and their teammates to Super Jump (basically teleport)  directly to its location.
The fizzy bomb is a bomb that is capable of exploding multiple times. The bomb can be held and shaken like a soda (aka shaking the controller) in order to increase the weapon's explosive potency, increasing the number of times it can explode.
The torpedo is a device that transforms into a floating homing missile when within range of a target. The missile itself is incapable of splatting an opponent alone but will deal a large amount of damage. The missile can also be shot down by opposing players.
And lastly
The angle shooter is a marker-shaped projectile that shows an opponent's position if hit directly or by the trail it produces when thrown. It bounces off any wall it hits, leaving a small splash of ink behind. It deals the least damage of any sub weapon on a direct hit, and the trail deals no damage.
Now specials
The Big Bubbler is a stationary barrier that protects from enemy ink.
Booyah bomb is actually the special I use on aerospray, basically the user holds up a glowing ball of ink that charges up over time and can be thrown once fully charged to make an ink explosion. The user and their teammates can use the "Booyah!" signal (it’s like an ingame chat kind of thing) to charge up faster and it gives slight special charge buffs to those who press booyah.
The Crab Tank allows players to ride around on it and use its turrets and cannons, with two modes of fire (a fast, less damaging one, and a slower, high damage one). It also protects the player and rolls around in the form of a ball.
The Ink Storm creates a rain cloud of ink. The rain cloud gradually drifts above the map, inking the ground and damaging any enemies beneath it.
The Ink Vac is a vacuum cleaner that sucks up ink that is still airborne and fires it back as a super attack. It can also be used to suck up ink that’s being fired at the user, like as a shield.
The Inkjet gives its user the ability to hover in the air and shoot powerful blaster-like projectiles. Once it expires, the user automatically Super Jumps (teleports) back to where they first activated it.
The Killer Wail 5.1 is a modified Killer Wail (a special from a previous game). Six floating speakers move autonomously and attack with smaller sound waves, similar to laser beams, that chase down enemies.
The Kraken Royale turns the player into a very large, invincible Kraken, that can splat opponents through a melee attack or a charged attack. It allows free travel through enemy ink.
The Reefslider is an inflatable shark that the player rides on to dash forward a certain distance before exploding.
The Super Chump fires many decoys that trick the opponent into thinking that a player is landing from a Super Jump (the teleportation gives off a marker on the map that people tend to camp). The decoys explode after a short amount of time, but the opponent can destroy the decoys before they explode
The Tacticooler is a mini-fridge that when set up, contains four drinks that grant special effects, like boosting the player's speed and respawn time.
The Tenta Missiles allow users to lock on to opponents before firing ten to twenty missiles between the locked-on targets.
The Triple Inkstrike allows players to throw three missile beacons and fire missiles at where the beacons land, creating explosions of ink upon impact.
The Trizooka is a bazooka-like weapon that fires three large blasts at once and can be fired three times in total for each use.
The Ultra Stamp is a large hammer which can be slammed repeatedly while advancing forwards and also has a jump attack. The weapon can also be thrown as a long-range attack, with the consequence of ending the special early.
The Wave Breaker is a special that upon setting up, will send out wave signals across that ground that deal damage and mark opponents. Similar to a jump rope, if the opponent jumps over the wave, no damage is dealt to them.
The Zipcaster allows players to latch onto walls from a distance and zip over to them while still being able to use their main weapon. Once it expires, the user automatically comes back to where they first activated it, similarly to the inkjet.
Now some game mechanics
Squid jumps are teleports, you can tp to any current player location and your own spawn
The game uses motion controls and/or stick controls
You have a button for shooting (zr), a sub button for throwing subs (r), and a special button (clicking the right stick down)
You can submerge yourself in ink to recharge your ink tank (aka ammo) and it also allows for faster movements, but no shooting or using subs while in ink, you can also only do it in your own ink
You can pull up the map to see your teammates and covered/uncovered ground
In this game you can pick where you spawn (in a little limited area)
There's also a jump button
You can do squid rolls by going in one direction and then quickly jumping and swapping directions while submerged in ink
Squid surges allow you to climb walls quickly by charging up a surge
Also, when in ink, you can paint walls and climb up them
You can also swim through grates
The game is always in 3rd person POV
And you have different counters for stuff on the display
Tumblr media
The top bar shows the time left in the match and the players on each team
Each player shows their weapon, and in the map, you can see their main abilities (a gear thing I'll cover later)
When someone has been splatted (knocked out or killed in this case) you can also see that on the display (the blacked out squid icon) and it also shows the general ratio of the people in the match
It shows a danger bar if one team is losing by a lot
And if it's only somewhat, the winning team's icons will grow larger than the other as a first indicator
The top right gauge is your special gauge, it just shows when your special is charged. The little green circle also shows your sub!
The "0224p" thing is a counter for the amount of turf covered
The bottom left shows your two in game comments–you can say booyah or this way and send a signal to your teammates
An example of a minimap
Tumblr media
The bottom left is you
If you look at the players, under their name (from left to right) you can see their main weapon, sub weapon, and special, and then their 3 main abilities
The other named characters are your teammates and the dotted lines show where they are on the map
By hovering over them and clicking a you can tp to them
You can see the area with turf on it on the map
Then the top right block shows the opposite team, and their main weapons/sub weapons/specials and their main abilities
It also shows who's dead with a large X
The d-pad inputs next to each person on your team is just the hotkey you can press to auto lock onto them so you can squid jump to or easily find them
If you have any squid beakons set up for your team you can also see them on the map
Now
the main "regular" and unranked mode is turf
The aim is to cover the most of a map with their team's ink color; the team with the highest ink coverage after three minutes wins the match.
There are only 2 teams in this (and most) of the modes, and each of these 2 teams has 4 players
Then there are 4 ranked modes
Splat zones is a mode where you fight to keep control of specially marked zones on the map by covering them with their ink., like "king of the hill". When all Zones are under a team's control, the team's timer counts down toward zero. The timer will stop if the opposing team takes control of the Zones, and their timer will begin to count down. When the holding team is swapped, it also adds a penalty time onto the other team's counter for a certain amount of seconds (to make it more fair, in case they've been holding the zone for a while. However, it doesn't affect their actual time score: if you got down to 5 seconds left and then get added 70 extra seconds, your score is still 5 seconds left.) Both teams start at 100 on their counters. The team whose timer gets to zero wins the match. After 5 minutes, if neither team gets their timer to zero, the team who got their timer the lowest wins.
Tumblr media
You can see the zone is marked with lasers on the ground, and the new counter underneath the players bar. The little square represents the zone and how taken over it is, and the score counters are on either side of it. The larger, colored counter shows which team is in possession of the zone
Next up, Tower control
In tower control, players compete for control of a central Tower platform, which will move through the stage towards enemy territory along a path when a player stands on it. If the Tower is overtaken by an opponent, it will reverse direction. Whichever team rides the tower to their respective goal spot at the end of the path wins. It has to stop through 2 check points on each side before reaching the end as well
Tumblr media
The bar where the splatzones were show you how far the tower has reached on both sides, and the boxes represent checkpoints
The next mode, Rainmaker, is similar with "checkpoints" you can use, and  a final goal you have to reach
But in this one, players compete for control of the Rainmaker, a unique weapon used only in this mode. The goal is to take it into the enemy base and place it on a pedestal, ending with a knockout if either team does so. The Rainmaker is very heavy, preventing the user from performing a Super Jump, but can fire ink tornadoes
It also has a shield you must pop before you can pick it up (whenever it's dropped)
Only one player can hold the rainmaker at a time
It replaces your weapon and you can't use subs or specials as well, at least not until you die or finish the game
Tumblr media
The bar is almost the same to the tower control one so here's a more fun picture
Finally (the worst mode) clam blitz (no picture it sucks)
The objective of Clam Blitz is to pick up clams, which are scattered around the stage, and deposit them into the shielded goal near the opposing team's base (it's like a hoop). Players picking up clams may choose to build the Power Clam (worth 10 clams) needed to break open the opponent's goal or toss the clams to teammates so that they can build the Power Clam; completed Power Clams can also be tossed between teammates, as carrying them introduces a risk to the carrier by showing the location of the carrier to all opponents.
It has another score counter and if you make it to 100 clams in the other team's basket, you win
All of these are longer modes played for 5 minutes (with overtime if needed), turf is just 3 minutes long
During the splatfest  (special event happening rn, will lore dump properly later maybe) you can only play turf war (with the possibilities of turf war battles being worth 10x, 100x, or even 333x more than usual) or tricolor battles
In Tricolor Turf War, the goal is the same as Turf War: ink the most ground to win. It is a team of four versus two teams of two. One team of four, chosen at random, starts in the center of the stage and acts as defenders. Two of their spawn drones will start on the left; the other two on the right. The other teams, known as attackers, will send in two players each at the regular spawn areas of the map. The defending team will try to hold a majority of the map while the attacking teams will cooperate to overtake the first-place team.
The defending team also has another goal: prevent the attackers from getting the two Ultra Signals. When an attacking player touches the Ultra Signal, it will be charged with ink to send a signal to one of the members of Deep Cut. That member will then send a Sprinkler of Doom to the battlefield, which will spray large amounts of ink around the stage, giving an advantage to the team that claimed the Ultra Signal. Players can splat others if they are trying to get a hold of the Ultra Signal as well.
Players can join Tricolor Battles alone (in which case they are paired with a random player), or team up with a friend. Each attacking team is one pair, and the defending team consists of two.
You can see the player bar is split up into 3 teams as well now
And you can see a visual percentage of how much of the map each team has inked (with a bar representing that also included)
LASTLY FOR THE MODES IS SALMON RUN
It's a co-op multiplayer mode where up to four players collect Power Eggs and Golden Eggs by defeating Salmonids (spawned in enemies) and then deposit the Golden Eggs in an egg basket. You have 3 waves (and sometimes a 4th against a harder that doesn't affect if you win or lose) and a quota of golden eggs to meet for each one
There are different like, match events for each wave, but that's another topic
Basically all you do is fight boss salmonids and regular salmonids and get eggs!
I’ll do some of the miscellaneous / other game elements in another ask, but this is all I have typed up at the moment!
This is amazing!! It’s so in detail as well, I can’t help but feel amazed!
It makes me want to buy it, in truth! I like to play as the inkling girl in Mario Cart because she looks cool and that was about all I knew of Splatoon before.
The game does look really good though so I might try asking for it!

Note
Hey, I've never sent an ask or anything before, but I just wanted to encourage you a bit, to help keep the negative voices from to firm a grip in your head.
I've never read an a/b/o fic before, and never wanted to. In fact, I don't read many fics at all. I picked up TTN because I had read Into the Aurora, and loved the way you had characterized everyone, and because it's rare to find someone who writes every aspect of their fics as well as you manage. Though I am sure I would have also loved reading extra worldbuilding (because that just means more story), I don't think TTN has suffered for not having it, nor do I feel like Mingi and Yunho's characterization is off. People are complicated, the situation between yn/yh/mg is also complicated, and there are a lot of factors to take into account when getting inside of a character's head that not everyone fully considers or thinks through. And it's absolutely valid not to show every step of your thought process, and let people come to understand your characters as they go. Maybe the people that don't quite get the characterization won't ever get it, and maybe they'll pick it up and start understanding as the story continues, but either way, if the characters make sense to YOU and what you're trying to write, that's the most important part. And if nothing else, I can reassure you that they make sense to me.
And as for being a people pleaser? Oh goodness, I completely understand. It's so so easy to let the desire to make everyone happy paralyze or discourage you, and you have 100% of my sympathies. Just know that, though it's not possible to please everyone, the overwhelming majority of your readers—both those that comment/interact with you, and those like me that are chronic lurkers—love and appreciate your work. Take whatever time you need, work at whatever pace is most comfortable, and we'll still be here to support whenever it is you are satisfied with your next chapter!
(Also, ouch, Yunho's distress in the last chapter punched this hotteok right in the feelings. Apparently I crave the angst, and I can't wait for the emotional payoff of reconciliation to make all three of them happy again!)
ugh thank you SO much for taking the time to write this you hit me right in the feelings. and thank you for everything you said 💓
as far as yunho and the angst? yeah my heart is also breaking but there's so much to come both angsty and happy and i'm really excited to share it when the chapters are in a good spot to post

Lucile Desmoulins talking shit about everyone she crosses path with in her diary compilation
1788
June 20 - I found a snail. I examined it a little, I broke its shell, but having fallen onto my stomach it made me cry out loud, because this ugly beast was crawling on my stomach! I made a big hole and buried it. In two or three days I will go and see what has become of it.
July 3 - Maman annoyed all evening by reading me passages from Grandisson, passages of which I did not know the subject.
July 5 - I went upstairs to read a few passages from Grandisson, but I had to go back down to go for a walk with everyone, which annoyed me quite a bit, because I would have liked to read forever. After a while I came back up, expecting to have escaped the glum company again, but after a while they all came back!
July 20 - Papa came with Monsieur m h l. and his nephew. La Mg came too. We had no shortage of boredom! He gave me La Romance du Saule, which I had lost. In the evening, the coach drove Monsieur m h l away. Papa did what he could to get La Mg to get in the coach, but this man is too tenacious, he didn't want to! He only left at 8 o’clock. A moment later Maman and I were walking down the road. At supper P talked about how bored he had been all day. Now he wants us to go to the Palais Royal. Great pleasure, we would be fine without it!
July 27 - L f left at 7 o’clock, L m didn't want to leave yet. Oh, what a man, how tenacious he is!
1789
O woman, cruel woman, woman unworthy of the sun that shines on you, what, celestial vengeance will not burst entirely on your head, will you triumph? Go, the day may not be far off when all the evils you cause will fall on you! You will groan then, but it will be too late! We won't complain! Fear the example of queens who, like you, have done evil! See: some perished in misery, others carried their heads on the scaffold. This may be the fate that awaits you...
Oh how long are the visits of the annoying ones! Naughty xxxx, go, if you come here, I will run far away in order to not see you! The fire rises in my face... stupid Irishman! He pities the queen, he does not want to speak ill of her… What is he getting involved in? Let him go to his own country! What is he getting involved in? We really need his help! He struggles to make us believe that he is French! Come on, you're Irish to the core and I'm French and I detest you! The weather is nice today.
On our way to the countryside, we encountered a procession. How ridiculous I find them, these priests, with their psalms! If I held power, I would abolish these foolish customs with their bread. When they sing, they sometimes make a patient die of fear! How low our religion is, it debases... What, men... Oh, what a lot to say! Be quiet, Lucile, let the men do what they want, close your eyes to their actions, you have nothing to do with them… They say that the Emperor is dead, that the Count of Artois is under arrest, that the count is exiled, that the queen weeps. This all sounds like very good news to me. When our enemies groan, we should rejoice.
1792
June 23 - Michelet came. How stupid he is.
June 24 - Fréron is scary. Poor halv-wit, you have very little to think about.
June 28 - I’ve been with Camille and the little Duplay at an old madwoman’s. Ah! Great God. What a carrion.
December 12 - Now I have made new acquaintances that I don't care about and that at the first moment I will tire of. Fréron has returned. He appears to still be the same, but I don't care, let him go crazy if he wants.
December 21 - Thuriot is a bloody pig, his face is so ugly that it stinks. He took great liberties with Madame Robert. She was pushing him back but not too hard, not to say weakly. She tells me, however, that she dislikes him very much.
December 22 - I had supper at Danton’s with madame Brune. How detestable she is!
1793
January 22 - Ricord came to see me. He is always the same, very abrupt and rude. […] Danton came. His jokes are as boor as he is. Despite this he is a good devil. Madame Robert seemed jealous of how he teased me. Fréron came. He always seems to sigh but how bearish are these manners. Poor devil. What hope do you hold? Extinguish in your heart a senseless …r (sic) What can I do for you? I pity you... No, no, my friend, my dear Camille. Never will this friendship, this love so pure, exist for anyone else but you, and those I see will only be dear to me through the friendship they have for you.
January 27 — She (Madame Robert) took us to Dejan's. There was a stupid aristocrat.
If you want to read Lucile’s diary in its entirety, check out the link provided in this this old post (thanks a lot, @georgesdamnton)! There’s lots of other great resources there as well.

Hi! Could you possibly write an hc of a female working for the jackass camera crew and her Spike slowly fall in love through all the time they are spending together on set?? Both of them shy and awkward!!
sorry there’s no gifs usually attached to my spike stuff :”) there’s like barely any that actually work :(
warnings: alcohol consumption mentioned, reader being a little bold :0 and spike just being a little awkward
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you had been in the industry for a few years, mainly in small circles
but spike had heard of you from a few local directors and even tremaine
they had high compliments of you
that’s how you got a job for the jackass crew
you originally didn’t have a super big role but let’s just say you had some…luck in getting to be a main camera person
spike wanted to see your potential in person and if it meant pulling a few strings, he’d do what he had to
you easily adapted to the sudden change and were often seen with the days schedule in hand, studying the words on the page as if they’d vanish if you looked away
this is how you two first really got into talking
you stumbled to grab your stuff while scanning the page that you nearly face-planted
“woah, you okay?” spike questioned as he grabbed your shoulders to steady your wobbly form. you looked up at him as if you’d see a ghost, scanning over his face.
“oh, uh, sorry.” he’d quickly apologize before pulling away his hands from your shoulders.
you shook your head and laughed a little, “no, nov don’t worry. thank you for catching me, mr. directer,” you’d try to joke.
it earned you a small chuckle, “please, just call me spike. mr. directer’s far too official.”
that small conversation started a cute friendship between you two
he was always checking in on you and seeing how you’d felt about certain stunts/pranks
spike couldn’t explain it but he felt a draw toward you
and you felt the same
even the days that you weren’t on set, you’d find a way to bump into spike
maybe you ran out to do some errands and boom, spike’s also running errands
it really felt like everything you two did toes into the other
even the guys of jackass noticed it
“spike’s gotta crush or something? he’s never this nice to any of us,” pontius would comment, assured that you’d hear the conversation. you couldn’t lie, your ears perked up.
steve-o laughed, “too bad, maybe i’ll talk to ‘em. i’m a charmer after all.”
soon it would be time for another round of shooting but something about the idea of spike having feelings for you made your heart leap
you had a hard time focusing on anything until spike nudged you
you would quickly meet his eyes, heating rising up your cheeks
spike took your hands into his, “you alright?”
he knew this was a bold move, even for him but subconsciously he knew that you both craved the other’s touch
“huh? oh, uh, yeah. minds just wondering,” you sighed a little, “don’t worry, i’m still on mg A-game.”
“why don’t you come out with all of us after the shoots?” jeff piped up from a short distance near you and spike, spike could hear and feel the smoke in his friend’s voice
you had no time to protest because now all the guys were chiming in and insisting you come out
so, begrudgingly you agreed
what’s the worst that could happen?
beer getting spilled on you, that’s the worst
and of course, it ended up happening
johnny got a little too excitable and his entire beer dumped all over the front of your body
the embarrassment was enough to have you ditching the crowd
thankfully, spike was more than happy to cover you with the jacket he had
“sorry about him, should’ve warned you about how rowdy the guys get,” spike admitted with a little bit of shame lingering in his voice.
you could only shake your head and offered him a small smile, “don’t worry about it. no one could’ve known this would happen, spike.”
the two of you leaned against the wall of the bar, chatting amongst yourselves until some of the alcohol you had given you a boost of liquid courage.
one of your hands found itself resting against spike’s cheek as you pressed your lips into his. he was clearly shocked but did in fact kiss you back.
when you both pulled away, a light airy feeling rose in your chest as you smiled up at him.
“thanks for gettin’ me a job with you. i guess it’s pretty fun,” you spoke playfully.
“really, it’s my pleasure.”

Nohebi Headcanons:
Kuguri is the most popular with the girls but hates it so much
He is dating Shibayama and only Mika knows about it
He keeps getting the ‘as your upperclassman’ lectures but hasn’t used any of their advice and would like them to stop
Takachiho isn’t against the Nekoma rivalry, he finds is funny mostly
He encourages Daishou’s and Kuroo’s fights
Akama is good friends with Shibayama since they went to the same junior high but he can’t approach him with Yaku around
He is very afraid
Shibayama only told him about Kuguri and his relationship, very supportive
He helped start the Libero GC and has since gained a respect for Shibayama and his ability to put up with everything
Sakishima has also approached Shibayama with Akama once but tried to look intimidating the whole time as a joke
It worked to well and now Shibayama is very afraid, until Takachiho tripped him
He loves the rivalry
Hiroo is a more devious and bit louder version of Kuguri
He adores the rivalry, it entertains him to no end
Seguro has anger issues and needs counseling
There was an intervention
Numai cannot give two shits about the rivalry and finds it dumb
But he will encourage Diashou
He suspects Kuguri’s seeing someone but couldn’t care who
Oomizu is an old man trapped in a young dudes body
He is very concerned for the mental stability of his team and the team will invite him to game nights
He will host them as well
The entire team adores his daughter and have been called big brother by her
Kuguri smiled at her once and everyone died
Mika has a black book full of black mail on the team
Even Coach Omizu isn’t safe
Everyone tried to get Kuguri riled up but ended up getting utterly destroyed in the process
It ended on a game night when Akama admitting he knew how to get Kuguri to punch someone
No one believed him
Akama sat next to Kuguri on the floor. He pulled out his wallet and some bills.
“How often are you annoyed?” Akama asked
Kuguri didnt respond until Akama out a bill in front of him.
“Often.”
“Has this bottled up emotion become anger?” He placed another bill.
Kuguri put away his phone. “Yes.”
“Would you like to hit someone?”
Kurugi nodded. Akama set the final bill in front of him.
“Hit them.”
Everyone froze and watched Kuguri.
Kuguri sprang up and punched Numai in the face. He quickly sat down and sighed. Akama rubbed his back, “better?”
Kuguri nodded as he put away the money.
Numai wasnt amused.
Turns out, trying to excite Kuguri didn the opposite and totally pushed him off
It also turns out, Kuguri is incredible strong and left a bruise on Numai’s face
Kuguri never apologized
Mika is the only other one because she figured out what gets him visible annoyed
It’s movie/show adaptations of books
Bring up Rings of Power on Amazon and he will give a four hour lecture on how shit it is (this is mg sister about this show)
For some reason, waking them up is incredibly difficult
They wake up o their own just fine but weekends are for sleeping in and any attempts to ruin that will end in voilence
Their attitude is “wake me up and I’ll cut off your fingers then hand then arm at the elbow and so on til you die.”
They will do it and act like they already have
This includes Mika and they have definite gotten this attitude from Oomizu, who lets them sleep when they have the time or are just doing regular practice
Omizu used to do this, will sometimes do it (not to his family) and his children do it, it doesn’t scare him though
Kuguri’s parents own a reptile shop. Nohebi all go over and help all the time, they all enjoy helping them out
There is one snake that hates everyone except Omizu, its amazing

HEY i trust you about gunpla stuff so i wanted to ask what kinda nippers (or other tool recommendations!) you use :o now that i've done a few kits and i realize this is gonna be A Thing for me (and after staring at the nub marks on my first MG for way too long) i kinda want to upgrade my tools from the shitty little cheap kit i got off amazon.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I FUCKIN GOT YOU!!!! so my fav nippers are the red handled branded BANDAI NAMCO ones, cuz they work on everything. they last for YEARS, and need no sharpening. as far as getting the nubs off the pieces that the mold liners leave, you can do whatever feels best as far as going at it. personally i enjoy using an exacto knife to gently scrape away, level to whatever plane youre doin. afterwards i use my thumbnail to get the extra fine bits off, but i'll be real, the only ones i do that for is my real grades and im not even someone who's learned how to get rid of seam lines in an easy way that's not (glob plastic cement between parts until it spills out of the seems, let it dry, then buff it down). even tho i also got a lil kit myself years ago, i find myself only needing a few tools out of it, so the best and most fun part of gunpla is you can do whatever you feel like makes stuff easier and neater >:3c

“American Teenager” by Ethel Cain
DV:
Really the only question was whether it’d be this or “Sun Bleached Flies” in the top spot, and then the video interpolated the intro to that song - including lyric of the year “God loves you, but not enough to save you” - and it was a simple choice. But it’s not just that, of course. It’s the way “American Teenager” is a microcosm, an intensely compressed synecdoche for the complicated world Ethel Cain is building, hitting all her notes at once like the arena-sized rock song it is. I’ve seen so many comparisons to Springsteen, and okay, but coming out of the bridge there’s a guitar bit straight out of “Don’t Stop Believin” which is a more telling reference. I’ve never seen Springsteen live - who can afford it? - but there are probably dozens of Journey cover bands roaming this country’s local festivals and I’ve definitely run into them before. “American Teenager” could slot right into a county fair setlist and at first no one would blink an eye: this is a bildungsroman that sits alongside the best that classic rock can offer, a tale of small town drama and exhilaration and of the confusion and desperation of youth. And of course it’s a tragedy by implication, coming early on an album about its protagonist’s murder. But it’s also a pop song that sounds tailor-made for radio and arena play, if only Ethel Cain didn’t decide to set the scene by implying American soldiers deserve to die if they choose to go to war. Or question whether Jesus existed when she drank too much whiskey. There’s this push and pull woven throughout the song, this tension between the layers she’s weaving together, a perverse dedication to never being just one thing when three or more could apply. This is about loneliness and getting too drunk and how the young always bear the brunt of violence, wherever it happens, and it also throws a sly “I do it for my daddy and I do it for Dale“ into its climax. The video tosses in references to Christina’s World and American Football; they fit just as neatly, half silly but half serious. I went to four concerts this year, and Ethel Cain was two of them. This feels right - if everything she does is overwhelming, is too much all at once, why shouldn’t she be half of where I spent my time? More than once, I thought she was the only artist who actually mattered.
MG:
In many ways, “American Teenager” is not representative of Ethel Cain; the cheerful, colorful swirl of pop is not one of her true interests, it’s more something she can do than something she loves. The rest of Preacher’s Daughter, her dimly lit, creeping debut album, takes place entirely within the confines of her imagination, there’s no need for cultural criticism in her murderous fantasia and in that way, “American Teenager” serves to ground her made-up world as one born out of the surreality we all inhabit. There is no Ethel, no Willoughby, no Hayden without the context of a country that sends its kids to fight wars the vast majority of the population don’t understand. On “American Teenager,” Ethel simply tells it like it is, like it felt at the dawn of this century, when I was a high schooler, and like it probably still feels today because nothing in the intervening two decades has slowed the churn of war, prison, and persistent, untreated mental illness that fosters the environment where a girl runs away from home and is murdered by a cannibalistic serial killer and all the sex work, condemned buildings, and fraught relationships with God in between.
The sky is still blue, the football field still green, the street lights are still yellow, and the hearts are still red in “American Teenager,” but already the kids are coming home in boxes, the brown sludge of denial and decay are creeping in at the edges and taking over. If it’s not that box with a dead kid instead, maybe it’s the brown liquor which touches our narrator directly -- she’s drunk at the pep rally, again. She can dress up her song with a major key and big, chunky chords, but Ethel Cain can’t resist collapsing in honesty: It’s just not my year, she laments. There’s no room for happiness in this world, the closest thing she can approximate is crying under the bleachers and insisting she liked it, refusing to let her sadness be sad, bundling up whatever she’s got and announcing “damn, I’m doing it well/ For me.” This is the closest she gets to exaltation, her best effort at resolving all the pain and suffering at the center of her world. She’s dead, right on schedule, by the dawn of the third act. “American Teenager” doesn’t just betray the hopelessness at the center of the Ethel Cain universe, it’s the crux of all that darkness, the Oz that begs us to remember “there’s no place like home.” If you know, you know, as the kids say. If you were lucky enough to get a taste of that Freezer Bride wafer, you chewed on its implications all year.
