The V/B half of this ask!

I hear all of you asking me: what is V/B. Who is V/B. Can you please shut up about V/B it's very annoying how you keep talking about them like we should know what those letters even mean.

Well, I'm here to tell you, they're my little guys. And one of them is a girl that's not a girl. And the other one is an evil indie film director. Yayyyyyy.

1. Starting simple, how did they first meet?

Hooboy! What a doozy. Need to give some context first. It's important to know they have several 'first meetings', thanks to the way V steals faces...

Anyway. B has always had an intense and wide eyed love for Hollywood. He's been a cinephile for as long as he's been alive, and would watch old vcr tapes until they broke in his family's garage on a beat up old box tv.

Movies were kind of his escape from a rough home life. He was the youngest of nine kids in an evangelical household, and his parents were… not very nice people! So he dreamed of one day escaping the farm and leaving for the big city.

So he leaves the very day he turns 18, hoping to make it big someday. Part of him desperately wants to be an actor, but he doesn't think he's cut out for all that attention. Instead, he'll settle for being a costume designer. He's great at sewing, and as long as he's involved in film, he knows he'll be happy.

He knows it.

B passes V on the street one night after coming out of another interview for an internship he definitely won't get, downtrodden and teary eyed after just. Utterly embarrassing himself throughout the whole interview. No, he doesn't have any references or credentials. But he's willing to work, and he's good with clothing and makeup, honest! Please don't send him away again- you'll call him back? You really swear you'll call him back…?

He leaves. And he knows they're not gonna call him back.

It's pretty important to me that B wasn't doing anything special or wrong to have what happens to him next happen. Sometimes violence just finds you. And follows you. Regardless if you deserve it or not.

B collapses under a streetlight crying really hard. He's embarrassed but there's nobody around, and he's been in the city for months now and he's still working at a dirty video rental store, no closer to his goal of working in showbusiness. He doesn't have any friends in the city, he's lonely, and he kind of wants to give up.

He's mid sobbing session when someone taps him on the shoulder. It's some guy with a handkerchief smiling down at him. Very friendly. And handsome. The guy sits with him for a while. Tells him not to give up on his dreams once B volunteers his whole life store like a. Naive Simpleton. To this perfect stranger.

This guy is really funny. Charming. He's a good listener, and he's got kind of an offbeat sense of humor that shocks a few giggles from B. B really hopes they can be friends, but the guy leaves before he can give B a name. (But he said they'd see each other again 😬 and they will.)

This guy is V. And he takes a shine to this. Crying farm boy he saw on a street corner. V loves the way B looks crying! Very photogenic. A face made for filming. But V has all the time in the world, and he likes to savor his meals. The thrill of the hunt and all! Yuck. So for nearly three years, V plays. Tag. With B. Idk what else to call it.

He leaves things at B's door. Gore in brown bags with a smiley face drawn on the stinking wet paper. Deranged letters shoved in his mailbox talking about how B is going to end up raped and choked and dead in a ditch near his house, so his siblings find him covered in blood and bodily fluid. A bouquet of flowers from a secret admirer, and if B reaches in to pull out the note B gets cut up by a bundle of razorblades hidden in-between the dethorned rose stems (how ironic! I'm sure V was laughing it up at that one. 🙄 You're so clever.)

And all the while, V and B are having other first meetings. Each time, with V wearing a different face. The face of a friend. A shoulder to cry on. The face of a stranger. Someone following him home, too close for comfort, enough to have B hyperventilating by the time he stumbles into his rundown apartment and slams the door shut, looking through the peephole to see someone's eye staring right back at him.

B is coming unglued. But he's still pretty when he cries, and they're about to have their last 'first' meeting.

He goes to the bar with a friend, someone he's known a long time. They're visiting the big city from out of town, and they wanna treat B to a few drinks. B is excited. It's been ages since he hung out with J, and he kind of has a major crush on the guy. J is a laid back guy, super relaxed, and he's exactly as B remembers him.

B's phone dings again. He's gotten these mysterious texts for years now, and if he ignores them, bad shit always happens. (Someone breaks into his apartment and soaks his sheets in fluids. Audience gets to pick the fluid. You're welcome. Things go missing, or. Sometimes a single stuffed animal is left on his pillow. Just to mix things up.)

So he goes into the bathroom, and asks for the hundredth, thousandth time, Why Are You Doing This To Me, and gets no response back. Which is odd. Usually they respond. They must be busy… but thn why send a text in the first place? Hmm.

B goes back to his table. J hands him back his drink, and B slams it back, before confiding in his friend about what's been going on. J comforts him, but B is suddenly slumping over. Drank too much, maybe.

B wakes up in a house he doesn't recognize, but J is there to reassure him. This is one of J's places. Having a wealthy family comes with perks. You're safe, B. And B is so glad to have such a good friend. Someone who takes care of him.

He can't help himself. He confesses, and J is flattered. Returns the feelings. They make love. How cute. Perfect end to a perfect scene.

V really enjoyed playing this part for him.

V drops the charade halfway through. B panics, because who wouldn't? Your new boyfriend just morphed into a stranger. You're getting assaulted by a monster. A doppelganger, a face stealer.

You thrash. You scream. You cry those tears V likes so much. Smile! You're on camera, btw. V finishes, choking B until he sees spots, mocking him, berating him. ("Do I look like J to you now? No, of course not. Oh well. Got anybody else you want me to be? Got a mother? A brother? A highschool bully? Or do you want a round with yourself? Aww. You look faint!") V does this for a living. He's a movie maker, and B is his new star.

So. Nice to meet you. Again.

in relation to your post talking about how daniel absolutely deserved the wdc shouts he (deservedly) got another interesting tweet the other day was "is prime ric better than what leclrec has shown so far" and while there were (pleasantly) many people agreeing that yes, prime daniel was better, so many people also kept talking about how he couldn't touch leclrec, which goes on to show you recency bias is crazy!

Ah yes I have seen that tweet the other day. I was also pleasantly surprised at the amount of people agreeing that prime Daniel was better. I think one of the replies pointed out that the only thing that Charles has over Daniel is his one-lap pace, which I completely agree with.

I have to admit that I am a pretty new fan, so I cannot objectively say who between Daniel and Charles was better in 2020. But I feel that people rating Charles highly come to a large extent from him beating Seb at Ferrari, but that was a Seb who had been worn down by the years of frustration there while Daniel beat the Seb who was still young and was coming off winning those four championships.

I know Charles fans are going to come at me, but it must be acknowledged that he can sometimes be error-prone (tho admittedly his bad luck rivals Daniel’s), something which Daniel never was at Red Bull. The only glaring bozo moment of Daniel’s at RB that I can think of is him tapping the walls during Q2 in Baku in 2017.

Another comment that I recently saw on twitter was how whenever Daniel sniffs out the possibility of a win, it’s like something comes over him and it’s like nothing can stop him from getting that win. It’s like he’s said, he’s never left a win on the table and I think this is something very few drivers have. I don’t think even certain world champions could pull the wins he did and in the circumstances that he won them in.

The reason why we still get Monza 2021 discourse in big year 2024 is because a) McLaren hasn’t since been able to win another one and b) Daniel had no business winning it for the season he was having. And yet, when he saw the opportunity for that win, it’s almost scary to see that calm focus with which he went after it.

"Pathetic..." He spit the word at you, cold eyes indifferent as he curled his fingers around your neck. "You really thought you'd get away with this, didn't you?"

You swallowed hard, hands tugging at his grasp. "I... I didn't--"

His hand grew tighter for a moment, pushing you harder against the wall. "I should kill you right now," he growled. "But I won't. We deserve an audience, don't we?" The cruel smile that tugged at his lips terrified you. Fuck, if only you hadn't lost your knife earlier--you wasted your last shot while he was pursuing you, and you'd dropped the gun when he grabbed you. "He'll be here soon."

You started shaking your head, tears brimming. "No. Nonono--Not Chan. Don't you fucking dare touch him--"

His hand grew tighter for just a moment. "Do you really think you're in the position to make orders?" He clicked his tongue. "You truly are stupid. Tell me," he grabbed your hands, pushing them above your head. "Why shouldn't I let him watch as I tear you limb from limb? You made this deal for him."

"I didn't!" You barked, tears running down your cheeks. "He doesn't have anything to do with this, you fucking monster--"

Another slam, and you let out a whimper of pain. Yet he was still cold, tilting his head curiously. "Humans are always so feisty," he clicked his tongue. "All of this just to save his soul... Maybe I should keep you alive. Let you watch as I devour him whole--"

With one swift kick to his abdomen, he lost his grip on you, recoiling from the pain. Immediately, you heard a "cut!" from offstage, and you immediately rushed over to the bent-over Seungcheol while the director said something about getting your doubles back in for this next fight scene. There'd be moments the two of you would need to simulate, but that could wait for when your husband can actually breathe again.

"Oh my god, I told you I didn't need to kick you for real!"

"No, no, it looks better--" He chuckled, straightening up. "Trust me--"

You smacked his arm, already pulling him off set, passing by your doubles. Yours gave you finger guns, calling out something about how that take looked pretty damn good from where they were sitting. To your dismay, the director agreed: the real kick did look better on camera in terms of Seungcheol's legitimate surprise. It fit the moment better, since his character was meant to be shocked at your character overcoming their fear to save their love. So the two of you retreated off set to rest for a minute and hydrate, and you caught the way he was pouting at you.

"I don't like the way Seokjin gets to have so many romance scenes with you." He sighed. He paused, eyes falling to your neck. Sure, the two of you had been walked through the scene plenty of times before on how to make it look real without him hurting you...

Before he could actually touch you to check you over, you swatted his hand away. "I'm fine, Cheol," you said. "Are you really jealous of him?"

"No!" He huffed. "I just hate how we don't get to play romantic roles. We should try to find a romantic role next."

The way he was frowning at you earned a snort from you, and you leaned against him. "Aw, my Cheollie's jealous."

He rolled his eyes, smiling as he settled in. "I'm not. I'm the one who gets to go home with you. I just... I like the idea of playing romantic leads with you. We could play something silly. I think we'd be good at it."

"Yeah, sure--"

"I do!" He pressed a kiss onto the top of your head. Even in his dark contacts and sullen makeup, he still looked handsome. You dreaded the scene where you killed him later: he'd never let you hear the end of it. He took your hand, playing with your fingers as he continued to muse aloud: "I think... It should end in a wedding. So I can marry you all over again--"

You swatted at his arm. "You sap."

He chuckled. "Just for you." He glanced back to where the two of you probably should start heading back in. Seokjin had already been on stand-by since he'd burst into the scene after your one-on-one fight with Seungcheol, and the two of you still had to film more for that for the close-ups...

Yet Seungcheol turned you to face him, kissing you hard and fast. "There." He chuckled. "It's out of my system."

my 5 favourite k-pop music videos <3

I love music videos, and in k-pop there are a lot of mildy shitty ones, but there are also some amazing ones that are just as iconic as they are aesthetically pleasing. Obviously budget will come into play here, so big 4 groups will be more prevalent on this list, but I tried to be as fair as possible, within reason. Also, I'm a girl group stan, so don't expect many boy groups. Obviously I will forget some, but maybe I'll make a part two, and you are very welcome to leave your fave mvs in the rbs or comments. This list is in no particular order, lets gaur

1. 'Feel Special' - TWICE (JYP Ent.)

This music video inspired this list, and for good reason. 'Feel Special' is in my opinion, the epitome of Twice, as they stand today. It encapsulates their more mature concept post 'Yes Or Yes', but it doesn't alienate their debut cuter concept, it rather welcomes it with open arms and celebrates it as a part of Twice's history, something their newer releases occasionally struggle with. Visually its a feast, its decadent and lavish, and positively gorgeous. Each member has her own movie-esque set, employing various genres and aesthetics, and then the members unite in the most glittery set ever concieved, the gold contrasting their raspberry and champagne outfits magnificently, while also referencing the group's official colours, as seen on their lightstick. The whole video is cinematic and opulent, and every detail, down to Sana's dip died pink hair, and Nayeon's stunning ginger curls which I wish she would bring back, is flawless. The only gripe I have is Chaeyoung's unblended foundation in her solo scene, but hey, we aren't all be perfect. My favourite scenes in this video are the afor-mentioned glittery golden arches group scene, as well as Jihyo's rainbow vintage television scene, that was surprisingly ahead of its time in terms of its retro aesthetics. It's a must-watch music video for the history books, and it's Twice's best song too - it deserves no less.

2. 'Why Not?' - LOONA (BlockBerry Creative - ew)

Note: If you would like to watch this m/v, please stream it from a non official yt channel, in accordance with the boycott. They will usually be marked with 'Boycott Ver.' in the title or something similar.

Loona has a lot of amazing music videos in their arsenal, but 'Why Not?' goes above and beyond. It's one of the most visually striking music videos I have ever seen, and its grasp on colour, composition, and rhythm is completely unparalleled. It's vibrancy is just gorgeous, full of neon lights and shining metallics. The video exists in a constant state of dichotomy: both cool and warm, metropolitan and pastoral, manmade and fantastical. You would assume this would ruin the video's visual message, but the contrast actually enhances it, as well as furthering the group's lore. it's unafraid to experiment with aspect ratio and camera movement, and along with the subversive editing, the final product is unique as well as timeless. Who cares that the last five scenes were neon and retro-futuristic? It's time for Heejin and Hyunjin's black and white minimalist mildly 1920s suited up dance break with a 4:3 aspect ratio of course! As the song itself says, why not? It's as playful as the song, as well as being visually stunning. My favourite scenes include Choerry's upside down mirror moment with the neon lights, as well as Kim Lip in the field with the funky glowing orbs, and of course the cult circle on the moon scene. Fucking iconic.

3. 'Ditto' (Sides A & B) - NewJeans (Ador)

Note: I have a full review of this song, if you are interested.

Where the other videos on this list are overwhelmingly vibrant or cinematic, 'Ditto' is understated and personal. Arguably one of the most influential k-pop music videos of all time, it breaks every rule of what a music video of this genre looks and feels like, rejecting glamour and high fashion for an unromanticized schoolgirl aesthetic surrounded with melancholy. It's heartfelt and unassumingly tragic, and truly makes the viewer yearn for a time they only half remember. It is one of the most beautiful pieces of cinema I have ever seen, and I am so happy that K-pop stans loved it to death as I did, despite how starkly different it is to most everything in k-pop before it. It does however remind me of f(x)'s '4 Walls' m/v, which isn't a shock as Min Heejin (ew) was their creative director also. It also has vibes of the cult classic (?) Japanese movie 'All About Lily Chou Chou'. It has sparked many trends in the industry, including but not limited to: b-roll interspersions, the typical schoolgirl aesthetic, and the general rejection of the polished, glitzy vibe we expect of k-pop idols. Their impact on trends is notable, but in my opinion, no one has executed this aesthetic to the standard that NewJeans has. The unassuming tragic beauty of 'Ditto' is difficult to put into words, you must go and watch the two music videos for it - they are life changing.

4. 'Kill This Love' - BLACKPINK (YG Ent.)

Say what you will about Blackpink, but they KNOW how to do a music video, and 'Kill This Love' is one of their best; it is beyond extravagant. The sets are huge and striking and insane - Jennie floats on the heads of two enormous swans and all four girls dance in the middle of a huge fucking BEAR TRAP and its ridiculously cool. The fashion and styling is amazing too - my fave looks include Jennie's Lara Croft moment with the braid, Lisa's big ass fur coat from her cereal scene, and Jennie's gorgeous eye makeup from her shopping scene with Lisa. In a word, 'Kill This Love' is extra(vagant). Even the scenes that are conceptually ordinary - Lisa's cereal aisle, Rosé crying in her car - are elevated into the extraordinary. There is no real storyline or through line between the scenes other than their saturated colour palettes and the members themselves, but who cares? The members look like fucking goddesses, the dance looks amazing, and there are MULTIPLE jaw-drop moments throughout the runtime - what more do you want? Where 'Ditto' rejects the typical k-pop visual aesthetics, 'Kill This Love' epitomizes them. If I wanted to explain to western pop stan what k-pop is about, this is the video I would show them first. My favourite scenes include: the group scene with the exploding statues and the bad bitch combat outfits, Rosé caught in the storm with beautiful lighting, and THE BEST SCENE IN A BLACKPINK MUSIC VIDEO EVERRRR... Jisoo's goddess moment with the sun and the reflections. Nobody does music videos quite like Blackpink.

5. 'What Is Love?' - TWICE (JYP Ent.)

This music video is so unbelievably special to me. It doesn't break any boundaries with camera movement, editing, or aspect ratio like 'Why Not?', and it doesn't entirely reinvent the typical k-pop music video like 'Ditto' either, but I think it is one of the best music videos ever because it is so FUN. 'What Is Love' is a music video that is a series of references to iconic movies, most of which being about love, as the title suggests. It harkens back to 'La La Land', 'La Boum', 'Pulp Fiction', 'The Princess Diaries', and many more, with the girls playing the characters, on their fictional discovery of what love truly is. It's so special to me because it reminds me of doing exactly what the girls are doing with my best friends and my big sister - trying to learn what love is from the movies is something almost everyone has experienced, and thus the whole video feels nostalgic both for its references, and for its overall concept. It's fun and lighthearted and a memory of simpler times. Oh, to be a 12 year old obsessed with 'The Princess Diaries' again, to be a tween watching 'Pulp Fiction' with your big sister when it's probably not age appropriate, to be young teen watching 'La La Land' right when it came out. What a time to be alive. That's what 'What Is Love?' is, it's a celebration of life, of growing up, of being just a little naive and knowing it. Iconic, truly.

and speaking of carlos his journey is just one that ends up being really sad for me. he jumps from team to team and proves himself EVERY TIME but he has the worst luck when it comes to it. he was teammates with max first and therefore the second fiddle because christian was set on max being his everything. then he moved to renault which was uhm renault. then mclaren where he could’ve technically been seen as first driver or equals with Lando but Lando to Mclaren is Max to RB. He got a win at mclaren and just brought out the absolute best vibes for the team. Then he moved to ferrari but it was too late bc again Charles to Ferrari is Max to Red Bull. He always ends up second to a teams golden boy and as much as i love all those drivers it really sucks that Carlos does so much and will never truly get the recognition he deserves.

Helloooo, i have a genuine question about Charles going to redbull (let me just quickly say that i am not in any way hating on anyone, they're all very talented, so if it seems like i'm shitting on someone, i promise i'm not, it's 2am where i am, i'm very tired and i really just wanna know, and please corrcet me if i'm wrong when stating facts)

Yes, Max and Charles have the same driving style, and have all the lore from their karting days

But what I want to know is, in what world would redbull let Charles (consistently) beat Max? Max has been/ is redbulls golden child, he's been with them since 2016, and he's been very succesful with them, and maybe what i'm saying is wrong but i'll say it anyway: i do kind of believe the team is built around Max? (let's remember how many people were the other driver at rb with Seb and after he left now with Max, like he's the constant and obviously building a team is complicated and idk what goes into it but you can steer it into a certain direction)

And if Charles were to join rb, would he be content with playing second driver to Max Verstappen (who is a 3x wc, like we get angry when Charles has to be 2nd driver to Sainz (who has won like 2 grand prix's) on the occasion (happens too often))

( with this i want to mention the mercedes situation with Rosberg, schuhmacher and Hamilton, where after Michael had left, technically Nico should have been a priority (bcs he'd been there longer), but because Lewis already was a WC, Nico had to be 2nd driver again and brocedes happened) (not that the whole situation is even comparable to brocedes imo, lestappen doesn't even compare)

I truly think redbull are using the whole lestappen thing as a marketing strategy (let's all remember what it's build on) and to create a better image around Max, since they can't really use Daniel anymore because a) he's in the AT seat and b) we saw the uproar from Checo's fans who (rightly, imo) got mad at the whole situation during COTA

Hello and happy (early) thanksgiving if you’re celebrating !!

I think everything you said is very true actually. I know Red Bull likes to say they aren’t built around Max, but they definitely are. And he’s definitely their golden boy. There’s no getting around that, as much as I think the Red Bull team genuinely likes Charles and would support him.

The reasons why I think that can work regardless:

A) Like you said, Ferrari treats him like a 2nd driver to Carlos half the time — which is just insulting, seeing how Charles should be their prioritized driver and Carlos is most certainly not the caliber of driver Max is. I don’t think he would want to be a true “number two” to Max nor do I think he deserves to be a second. However, if he’s going to get treated that way in Ferrari, I’d rather he get second driver treatment in a competent team where being less prioritized won’t damage him as much precisely because he and Max prefer the same style of car mostly.

B) I think if Red Bull were to sign Charles, they’d be doing it with the intention to try to be the team to do two number one drivers and succeed (unlike Mercedes). Liberty Media was very open and public about wanting Red Bull to have two top drivers for the entertainment value. Plus, it would be just one more thing for Red Bull to completely dominate and do that no one else can, which is very on brand for them. Obviously Max may get a bit more preference initially, but I think they’re smart enough strategically to be able to balance their support if it deserved to be balanced.

C) Mostly, however, I think Red Bull is also thinking ahead to the future. Max has been open about wanting to pursue other categories and other opportunities. Half the time he sounds like he might retire in 2028. So Red Bull needs to be prepared to 1) try to keep Max for longer and 2) have a new number one lined up for when he does leave.

I think Charles is a good candidate in their minds for many reasons, aside from the fact he’s just as talented as Max (arguably). Charles is extremely marketable and likable, without the baggage that Daniel brings (and frankly with more talent than Daniel brings). He gets along well with Max and they’ve been able to be friendly about their (f1) battles, both like to drive aggressively against eachother and therefore are more forgiving with eachother, etc. I think if you’re going to try to make Max accept an equal driver it needs to be Charles.* He’s also shown that he can play the team game and he’s historically been angelic about Ferrari in the media, despite how badly they’ve fucked him over. That’s very useful for Red Bull.

(*Lando is potentially a good candidate and Red Bull obviously has tried to get him before. But I don’t think he matches Max and Charles, which means he’d probably just be a good number two and not a true equal. Plus he and Max were always friends, and I think part of why Max and Charles could manage the more tense aspects of being competing teammates is the fact that they decidedly were not friends through karting.

Also, if the rumors that the Hamilton camp reached out to Red Bull are true? And that Red Bull said no because he and Max couldn’t work as teammates? I think that indicates that they know a second top driver would have to work on a personal level, and they think Charles can work. Helmut Marko indicated that Red Bull approached Charles, after all, which means they must have thought it could work.)

Another major thing with Charles that could make him an ideal choice is that he more openly appreciates the… “show” that Liberty Media is trying to bring to f1. Especially with his Vegas commentary, about how he understands why they are trying to bring in new fans, etc. If Max retired earlier or at the end of this contract I think a huge reason will be because he hates all of the show. So lining up a replacement for Max who won’t end up retiring for the same reason is also beneficial to them.

Which actually loops back to that I think Red Bull knows Charles challenging Max and entertaining him / bringing him fun on track again would help keep Max around. I remain convinced that Charles in a good car could keep Max in f1 longer. Red Bull could very much plan on trying to use Charles to coax Max to stay, and if that doesn’t work out then they have Charles still to continue dominating with. It’s a win-win for them.

Now, that’s not to say Red Bull aren’t just using the lestappen angle to boost Max’s likability. That’s very possible and my second top theory behind it. It may even be more realistic, all things considered. But I don’t think Charles considering Red Bull is as far-fetched as some believe, either.

So yesterday us girlies were discussing Aaron picking reader up, altho I was a bit sceptical imma be real with you but I'm more open to the idea now. It was fun and nice and I just love to be able to discuss with other fellow fat ppl abt hcs that suit us!

There's a lot to unpack here.

First of all, I wanna make it VERY clear that while I haven't specifically put this anywhere (altho I probably will now) that this blog is surrounding plus-size readers, THIS BLOG IS CENTERED AROUND PLUS-SIZE READERS. So PLEASE assume I'm talking abt a plus-size reader unless stated otherwise.

When I got this ask, I won't lie to you but it really soured my mood. I was having so much fun talking to my lovely anons and rb stuff and just overall a great time but then this showed up. And I was scared and felt bad that I felt this upset by this but listen.

Fandom spaces are NOT made for anyone except short, skinny, white girls. That's just an undeniable fact. Your average fanfic blog for characterxreader fics has one specific type of reader as the default. You can't say they don't. When I joined this fandom I could count on one hand the amount of AH x plus-size!reader fics there were. And so I thought hey I should maybe contribute and bring more out because we deserve to read something and KNOW we can picture ourselves in the stories too. Even if I haven't put on the asks and gif posts plus-size reader just please assume that's the type of reader I'm talking about.

So onto the content of the actual ask. First of all, stating you KNOW weight and image is a sensitive subject but still telling me DIRECTLY abt how much you weigh and how "bony" you are is fucking unacceptable. You know what you are doing is wrong but you did it anyway. What do you expect me to say to you about how much you weigh and how skinny you must be? Why do I need to know this specific information?? You don't see us fat ppl going around like "oh I weigh THIS amount and uwu my chunky arms and stomach are soooo detrimental to other ppl's comfort 🥺🥺" because why? The only exception is the B-belly anon and fic I wrote for them because I have the same stomach type and understand how they feel.

And if you're actually THAT concerned about your health like you claim to be? Go to a fucking doctor. I'm not a fucking doctor. I'm a 23 year old dumbass in 2nd year of uni doing illustration. It's the attempted manipulative language in this whole ask that just left a sour taste in my mouth.

Am I saying skinny/slim ppl can't be insecure? Fuck no. ANYONE can be insecure. But the world is more willing to support and uplift skinny ppl than fat ppl. So we have to uplift each other and ourselves. And so because of that if the conversation isn't relatable enough for skinny people then they feel the need to directly insert themselves and make it all about them. I'm sorry but no. Not here you're not. You want to feel uplifted abt your fave character? Go read the hundreds of other fanfics that exist with your body type in mind. And if you disagree with this take then like. I don't really fucking care. Block me.

To the anon who did write this and if you're reading this post now:

I don't hate you. But this was not very nice and not okay to do. Again, if you're that concerned abt your health then talk to a doctor. This is HOPEFULLY the first and last time I'll need to talk about this.

as much as it pains me, I do not wish a successful season for Kimi Antonelli in F2. cause throwing a rookie with one year in F2 and completely skipping F3 into the deep water of F1 would destroy that boy before he would even turn 20. I hope he does a good job, finds his feet in the higher competition, has like 2 seasons in F2, and goes at first to Williams in 2026 and after one two years to Mercedes.

I mean, it just depends.

I feel like people are not looking at the potential pitfalls (I mean fans/ general public because I’m sure his team is on top of it) because we’re seeing rookies getting younger, and also because of Max. I hate to be that person to bring him into the conversation but he did start the trend of drivers being very young in F1. And because it worked out and he has achieved so much people are like “yeah so obviously it was fine”, which I think overlooks the level of preparation Max had from his environment, and also how much shit he put up with from the paddock. Just because he dealt with it well, it doesn’t mean that every driver would survive that pressure that young.

And also probably the timing is so unfortunate because Mercedes doesn’t have that many options for a short term driver until they are ready to take on Kimi so they might well be rushing the process. Not to mention, Toto will be under pressure to offer him a seat sooner because you can bet Helmut and every other team will be sniffing around him with the promise of a seat, and Toto already missed out on Max by not having a seat available for him.

I wouldn’t say I’d wish him a mediocre season, I would say I wish him a good season, and that he gets the fuck out of the Merc machine. Because a) other driver academies don’t have a dearth of drivers available. RB have enough current options and young drivers to give him time to develop, same with Ferrari and b) because Toto doesn’t deserve a generational talent, c) because to come in to a top team trying to rebuild, hot on the heels of LH leaving, with PR63 as a teammate, that’s not a battle you want to fight in your first year.

On the other hand, we don’t know if he does have the stuff to survive the same way Max did. He certainly seems to have the talent, and he definitely has the pedigree. So you can’t write it off that he has what it takes to come in young and deliver.

But I do think Merc is the team most likely to run him into the ground, so I hope he doesn’t stay with them.
