Just a question, for those from age 30 above, like do you still keep fanarts, fanfic, merchandises of your favorite fandom(s) even though you are disillusioned with life, busy with careers and spouses and children, working on whatever obstacles life throw at you and all that? Im in my early 20s and I keep a lot of fanarts, fanfic and snapshots in my folder and just suddenly think about this.

So in my observation a lot of Ranma 1/2 fanfic makes sense when you realize that a lot of people writing it have confused the series with Tenchi Muyo. Taking the manga as an action comedy leaning more on the action with a more ambiguous harem romcom set up.

Hoever, there is a different group of people who say that Ranma 1/2 is a comedy about everyone being awful jerks and you're meant to laugh at them for being awful people. These people have also mistaken Ranma 1/2 for another harem romcom.

They think Ranma 1/2 is Love Hina

You started to change your image. You want the reflection in the mirror to look more like you and less like a stranger. You cut your hair. You change the way you dress. You ask your friends for a nickname, a short, gender neutral nickname.

You start to feel better, but it's not enough. It's not enough.

You're not used to see yourself in a mirror. You're not used to euphoria. Pain is familiar, this is strange. You don't know how to deal with it. Maybe they were right. You're already regretting it. Happiness is not something you deserve.

It will be hard, harder than you even thought. The world will be ready to shame you, to blame you. But one day, you'll heal.

One day you'll look your lself in the mirror, and joy won't fell akward. Euphoria and peace will be your routine, your comfort.

You'll look in a mirror and realize that this is what you were looking forward. A comfortable, usual euphoria. This is your life, now.

You can finally breath.

Living is hard, fighting is thought. There's a war right now inside your head. Pain, desolation, death. But remember what you're fighting for.

One day, you'll be happy without feeling guilty or strange. One day, euphoria will be as natural as breathing.

Keep fighting. Keep living.

Some people hate you just for who you are, that's true. I can't hide the truth.

Sometimes you will feel hopeless and lonely, like nobody care about you.

But you're not alone. There are people who will love you, people who care.

We can keep fighting together, alright?
