#han talks #bartylus #like imagine #classically trained from a young age #getting bored with the company because they want to radicalize the company #slowly forming their own company to teach the intricacies and more contemporary movement #for queer bodies!!!!#and reg actually trains on pointe which is VERY HARD because it’s not all that common #opening the doors for role reversal in performance…#opening the space for queer identities to be portrayed on the stage…#critically analyzing the history of dance as a whole #specifically the nuances of ballet culture #and the history of dance practice across the world #and a deeper exploration into music and the influence it has on movement #and the social and political movements that establish different movement eras #i want an excuse to further analyze the foundations in which the disco era came to be #because the media portrayal of the disco era Isn’t Right #you’re literally forgetting how it originated and the bodies that built it from the ground up!!!!#analyze the fashion choices and drug culture and sounds of the era #think about the communities this stemmed from!!!#because no babe disco never died argue with a wall for me #can you tell i wrote a whole paper discussing the formation of the disco era and the inaccurate portrayals in media #this is my speciality #academic han to the scene #blog thesis
