Hey Lauro! Just had this interaction with my baby brother (I’m 26 and he’s 15 so it’s a gap) and it just reminded me so much of your Gabri and GR!Migs.

We do the NYT mini crossword everyday and race to see who can do it faster. Naturally…. I win by a significant margin every time. But today I did it like a minute under him and when I sent him my time he just responded “WHATEVER BRO” and I told him “it’s ok baby bro, you’ll get there one day.”

And maybe I’m projecting but it reminded me of those ridiculous O’Hara boys. Idk thought you might giggle!

When they were younger, I can definitely envision them playing a really old version of Mario Kart and Miguel never letting Gabriel win. Not because he's trying to make Gabriel lose, but because he's just really good at the game. When they get older and Gabriel starts to win things, that's when their playful banter starts.

Miguel can only go so long with Gabriel meddling before he's had enough lol.

At their age now, Miguel is more book smart and Gabriel is more street smart. It balances them out nicely and allows them to always call the other stupid in some way, shape, or form. For example, Miguel feels like he shouldn't have to tell Gabriel how long his takeout can last in the fridge before it turns into a biohazard. Gabriel feels like he shouldn't have to explain to Miguel that not everyone on Earth will be kind to him if he's kind to them.

Let Conchata and George tell it and both of them lack common sense.

If they put both of their brains together, they can definitely survive.

I’m assuming this is for the invasive species AU. If so, I say yes! Mechs like Knockout are already very popular and if he notices someone taking photos, you know this vain peacock is strutting and posing like he’ll die if he doesn’t. Seekers might do the same, but if there’s sparklings involved, anyone that gets too close is risking their lives. Seekers have a well-earned reputation for being downright savage when it comes to keeping any perceived threat away from their young

I’d say, perhaps water alt modes are the most playful with humans. Bitty baby boats and submarines love to splash in the surf, and if their parents are chill enough, the little ones will bumble right up to the camera crew. Younglings really like to investigate the humans just cuz they’re so funny looking, soft and squishy and good for hugs. Some families might even eventually come to bond with specific humans and introduce them to their bitties, like earthspark Megatron and Dorothy.

so I gotta tell you about winefest first. I actually managed to talk to him without any alcohol in me which is PROGRESS! But then me, him, and the group were all sitting and some were eating and he's like "i have a wine glass but no alcohol I need to fix this" and stood up to go sample wine and I thought about it for a second and then i ran after him. We kept separating from the group all day to try wine. I got soooo fucked up on free samples 🤦🏻‍♀️ and I literally would not leave that boy alone. I genuinely almost cried to him when he told me that the food place ran out of tater tots cause I was looking forward to it ever since last year. But I also wiped food off his face after I collected myself from that disappointment so WOO! I TOUCHED HIS FACE! but later in the night when we were all getting ready to leave one of my friends was having her usual drunk meltdown and me and him were just standing off by ourselves and I leaned against him like head against his shoulder 🫣 and we stayed like that and talked for like 10 minutes and then we joined the group again and then we finally went home and we both were just poking each other in the back seat 😂 BUT THE MOST EXCITING PART OF MY LIFE SO FAR IS THAT WHEN WE BOTH STAYED OVER AT OUR FRIENDS HOUSE, WE SLEPT ON THE SAME COUCH! OPPOSITE ENDS BUT STILL! and I got another hug when he left! And then we immediately started to make more plans and GUESS WHAT WE ARE GOING TO A CAT CAFE ON SUNDAY! (and i kinda wanna kiss him) AND I TOLD HIM WE CAN PET ALL THE CATS AND DRINK ALL THE COFFEE AND FLIRT WITH EACH OTHER AND HE SAID IT SOUNDED LIKE A PLAN!
