before: she first dry brushes her whole body. gisou scalp oil and she massages it for 10-minutes while texting rafe.

for haircare: she uses olaplex shampoo and ouai hair conditioner (with a wide-tooth comb). hair masks twice a week and she always rinses with cold water even if she lets a little squirm.

for body wash she uses “sugar cookie” by native because rafe loves when she smells like a bakery. body scrub is “pink champagne” by tree hut. she gets laser hair removal but if she forgets, she uses flamingo pink razor and shave cream of course. body brush + washcloth (yes both)

post shower: body lotion (something like cinnamon buns by philosophy layered with aveeno baby calming lotion for softness), body oil, deodorant (nature), lip balm (laneige vanilla), she rubs cuticle oil while watching a movie and gets comfy around her silk sheets.

Steve tries to stay quiet while he gets ready for work, but Eddie hears him. He keeps his eyes closed and just listens- to Steve grumbling to himself when his hair doesn’t sit quite right, who starts to hum and whisper some catchy song. Eddie turns his sleepy gaze onto Steve as he shuffles around their room- watching quietly as he slips on his clothes, his shoes, a simple chain with Eddie’s ring around his neck. A warm, affectionate smile breaks across his face. Before he leaves, Steve glances at what he expects to be a sleeping Eddie, but instead, he’s met with a rasped, ‘Hey.’ Eddie sits himself up, stretches his arm across Steve’s side of the bed, and reaches, fingers wiggling. Steve crosses the room to cradle his face.

Their foreheads press, noses bump, and Steve brushes his fingers across scars and dimples.

He breathes a quiet,

‘Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you.’

Eddie huffs a tired laugh,

‘You know I never mind.’

Because, yeah.

Every morning Steve tries to stay quiet while he gets ready for work, but Eddie always hears him.

Strengthening your stabilizer muscles is so good for your bones and posture! It doesn't mean accidents don't happen, as we will all decay in time, but it definitely helps me draw all day and night without crumbling into dust 👌

Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to world-shattering truths because I'd rather know the horrible reality than live a lie*, but it is bliss when it comes to the noise of everyday mundane facts. I love forgetting what doesn't matter to me. I didn't care to know that. And now I don't <3

For all the reasons I dislike Last Life's rules, if any ruleset is redone, it should be that one.

My major issues with Last Life were mostly that I found the boogeyman curse to be too forceful of players' actions, and I strongly disliked the way reds had to abandon their teams. But I think the life series in its current state desperately needs BOTH of these things.

As it stands right now, we haven't had an actual betrayal in a long time. Not one with long-term ramifications anyway. The boogeyman curse is THE betrayal genarator. It also forces players to be distrusting of each other consistently, something newer seasons are sorely lacking

Moreso, people stick to the same teams all season. Which is lovely because there are a lot of cool dynamics we get to see, but at the same time it ruins some of the stakes. If you go red, your tesm will just help until they can get you off red or they're red too. Being forced to make a new team of reds or venture off on your own is some interest the life series needs more off

In summary, the life series players have gotten a tad too comfortable in the formula, I think Last Life's gimmick will disrupt their routine the most.
