Hi there!! not sure about a whole tutorial but here's a rundown of the main things I draw him with consistently:

-long bangs hanging down in his eyes. this is so important to me -wavy, messy hair! make that boy scrunkly -larger nose :^) -eyes more almond-shaped, less big -mouth like :} :> -face is overall a little longer, less rounded? -not always but I often like to draw him with more medium-brown hair -sidenote: half of this started as a way to to distinguish him from zelda so they don't look so much like siblings tbh

Oh man that is such a good question. I'm not sure. I feel like by that moment Danny was pretty damn happy with his life, including living in Hawaii. He had a family (both blood and not blood), a job he's good at and enjoys and is proud of, and he's found things to love about Hawaii. He even mentions the ocean as being a positive which is such a huge turn around from when he first arrived on the island. Danny was very settled and happy in his life in Hawaii. If Danny was 100% physically healthy/healed and he didn't have Charlie I still don't know for sure if he'd go with Steve. Maybe. It's not like he hasn't followed Steve before. Always when Steve needed him most. But those times feel different to me because he knew they'd be back. Heck half of the reason why he went was to bring Steve back in the first place. This feels more permanent (even though I know in my heart that Steve is absolutely returning. There's just no "when"). I also feel like Danny wouldn't leave the team alone for an undisclosed amount of time. I guess I feel like he wouldn't have gone with Steve. I can however see him, after a month or so, finding the neanderthal and dragging him home finally. That's a very Danny thing to do.

i actually thought i was alone thinking that sylus had way less cards compared to the other guys in lads, but seeing that you think so too makes me feel better but also sad? why is it like this 🥺😔

NOOOOOO this is a widely discussed topic in the LaDS fandom !!

Loads of fans have done the math and noticed the discrepancies between Sylus and the other LI's. He was only just recently given a 4 star banner with MC depicted in the art, whereas the other guys have upwards of maybe 4 or 5 each ?? Zayne, Xavier, and Rafayel are the OG LI's so I understand why they would have more stuff like that.

BUT when Caleb debuted, he was released with a full range of stellactrum banners. I distinctly remember being annoyed that Sylus' first ever yellow stellactrum card was hidden behind a paywall– you couldn't just pull for it. By now I think the two of them have the same number of banners and anecdotes (don't quote me on that), but the time it took for Caleb to get that amount of content vs. Sylus is crazy.

Sylus came out July of 2024. Caleb came out January of this year. The devs put the pedal to the metal to get Caleb's content sorted, meanwhile Sylus has been out for 9 months and I'm still eating CRUMBS. CRUMBS I SAY !!!

All of that to say: I also wish he had more banners. Everyone that mains him wishes he had more banners. I've seen event speculations/projections on Twitter and Red Note, and it looks like he won't be getting a new myth or anything like that until maybe the end of the year ?? Gnashing my fucking teeth together over that, but it is what it is :'))

Also, we've seen what's going in Buck's life at the moment: he is missing Eddie to the point of driving people crazy, he slept with his ex and got accused of being in love with his best friend. Do people think Buck is going to talk about any of that to Eddie, the best friend he might or might be in love with? I imagine when Eddie asks about how Buck is, Buck just say "same old, same old, anyway, how is Chris?"

lmaoo no but i think it makes total sense we haven't addressed that conversation about buck and eddie between buck and eddie yet. i think they're holding on to it, building up the suspense. but i also think it makes sense to keep dragging out this tension for some time still so i'm all for it. I was kinda addressing sentiments id seen from bucktommy shippers or anti buddies in that post you're responding to. about how it's been a disservice to buck's character and storyline that him hooking up with tommy hasn't been brought up in the last 2 episodes, that he hasn't seemed to have talked to eddie about it yet and eddie just keeps talking about his problems and not asking what's going on with buck and im just like ! yeah guys i think that just because eddie's specific plot is taking center stage right now doesn't mean it isn't also informing us about buck's current plot! that what's going on with eddie and christopher is also what's going on with buck ! that this is where the priority is for both of their storylines. that this is important characterization of buck! so some of those people want it to be addressed but not because they think buck is in love with eddie, but because otherwise it's just bad writing or a bad display of friendship that they aren't also talking about buck's rebound on these facetimes calls. but idk i agree with you that it doesn't seem like something buck would bring up to eddie so simply on facetime. (because it's important set up for later) idk i like going in the bucktommy tag or looking over blogs focused on them because i think there's interesting analysis to be had about them, but more often than not a lot of sentiments just feel like the most bad faith or narrow interpretation of what's happening on the show it's just makes me frustrated and i give up lol. like guys i think both eddie and buck care a hell of a lot about christopher and it makes complete sense to me that would be the priority of both of their storylines in this particular moment. obviously we're gonna move on to other things and have new developments with all these characters soon, i know tommy is coming back in the next episode or two so im sure we'll get back to how buck is feeling about what happened with tommy. but im perfectly fine with all of these plots lines taking their time, we don't have to address everything ever episode (actually think buddie plot is being addressed a little too much rn 🤫🫣)

wouldn't os be well within his right to steer the conversation to his current relationship and not give some buddie kinda-sorta positive response? like nobody is forcing this man to speak no matter how much y'all think bobs hold that much power. the interviewer made a point to bring up eddie specifically when asking os what kind of relationship he wants for his character, which is certainly biased sure, but os could have also responded by saying something along the lines of "buck is currently in a relationship with tk so i would like to see that explored slowly and see how it turns out."

meeting someone, developing a crush on them, spending time confused as to how you're reacting to them, kissing them and going on a few dates with them all in the span of what is literally shown on our screens to have happened in one episode does not a slow burn make.
