I swear every time I read a post from the badger mole and any other hardcore zutara shipper i'm losing braincells. How can people take her seriously? :/ I get it, you all like zutara, but do you also like this series at all? Because you are literally rewriting this show and the main character to make a crack ship looks better, which is insane 🤦♂️
Mind you, this is Aang in the CANON SERIES
There are many other moments but i'm not wasting my time posting it
Also...Aang acknowledge Katara's beauty three times in the whole show. Oh my God, what a crime. That's means he only care about her beauty and nothing else 🤦♂️
It's insane how much this character is demonized because he had the audacity to fell in love with Katara
JK Rowling is being a Holocaust denier now…makes sense now why in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, she wrote the villain as evil for wanting to prevent the Second World War - and by default the Holocaust - from happening 💀
Rip to "Poor Sejanus. Poor sensitive, foolish, dead Sejanus." "Can you imagine naming your child Reaper and them ending up in the reaping?" "Poor Lucy Gray. Poor ghost girl singing away with her birds." and "Well, you know what they say. The show’s not over until the mockingjay sings." We deserved you in the movie....
i will forever be disappointed at how the Aphrodite cabin is portrayed in the books.
Silena was an exception I guess but it wasn't enough tbh. I really dislike the way wearing makeup or dressing up fancy is seen as "shallow" or "too much". There's nothing wrong in wanting to dress extravagantly, it's a form of self prep. Fancy ≠ shallow. And the only "good" member of the cabin after silena was a girl who didn't like her own cabin and was seen as super "cool" simply because she rejected all the "girly" stuff by rebelling. Why can't we have both "girly" and non girly girls as cool people?
Drew was genuinely very shallow, but every time she's brought up in the books, instead of soley describing her personality, her tendency to wear makeup is shown as a bad thing. And it's not just because she's seen in piper's pov, she wasnt really described any better in Sadie Kane's povs either. When Sadie described drew wearing "awful pink eyeliner" upon seeing her + plus saying her perfume was 'too much' or something like that.
Reading about Drew's character description just gives me a headache lol because the way Rick wrote her as being shallow while ironically making other people judge her in a shallow way is just off putting. Like, no need to bitch on her for wanting to be more 'feminine' and "princess-y" ?
Give me an Aphrodite kid who sees wearing makeup as an art form (because it is) and not simply just to impress other people, like drew.
Give me an Aphrodite kid who uses fashion as a coping mechanism from their shitty life.
Give me an Aphrodite kid who loves knitting other people cute scarves as presents.
Give me an Aphrodite kid who loves doing younger camper's hair for them as their love language.
It still irritates the hell out of me how well Sylvie seems to have accepted Loki's absence. I mean, come on, Loki SACRIFICED himself so that in the end she could come back and live her happy life the way she wanted. But in this scene she seems to be talking about the fucking wind, they ruined her so much in this second season.
While Mobius seems SAD AS HELL. ALONE in a new life that he still doesn't know how to deal with and that he didn't ask for, without the presence of the person he liked most. He looks so devastated, like someone came and destroyed his favorite jetski, when in fact the only thing destroyed was his and Loki's chance to ride that damn jetski TOGETHER.
Blofis-Jackson-Grace AU Where Percy introduces the traumatized, anxiety ridden, orphan, Roman Demigod Jason Grace to Paul and Sally, and they immediately sign mental adoption papers.
With a side of big brother Jason to baby Estelle. Jason gets all mushy and depressed, and heartbroken around her because how could his mom live him alone when he was that small and breakable
Sorry but I can't stay silent anymore, these posts are insane
Aang: a kid/genocide survivor lashing out because his best friend and only living link to his people has been stolen. The avatar state (a power he is afraid of) was a response to losing another part of his home, the only person connecting him to his past and eradicated culture
Katara: saw Aang loosing control in the avatar state and CHOSE to be at his side and help him, because she KNOW what's it's like having your loved ones stolen from you, she is hurt from seeing him hurting because she's an empathetic person and she loves him. She's comforting a friend during an emotional crisis.
It's funny because those people are stanning a character who called Katara a peasant and threatened to wipe her village and only were in good terms in the last few episodes. They are stanning a character who was a villain/antagonist for two seasons (and half of season 3) who tried to kill her and her friends over and over again. But that's ok, he suffered and redeemed himself in the last 3 episodes, so it doesn't matter, while everything the abuser/toxic Aang """did""" was beyond forgiveness.
That's the message of Avatar the Last Airbender :)
The way people in this fandom are so unempathetic towards a 12 year old who lost everything is so crazy to me.
These episodes are full of sad moments with a lot of hurt behind it. These are all children (child soldiers also) overwhelmed by moments of severe loss. These children are human and they have flaws.
This is why being a fan of most animated content sucks as their fanbases have the intellectual capacity of a goldfish
