Do you think Hannibal was in love with Alana and Bedelia? The same way he was in love with Will? Or how do you see Hannibal's relationship with Alana and Bedelia compared to his intense love for Will?
Hiii 🫀
Short answer: No, I don't think he was ever in love with Alana or Bedelia
Long answer is a bit more complicated
I do think he had a true appreciation for both of them, him being a mentor turned college/friend to Alana and a mix of patient and somewhat friend to Bedelia.
(I also use the term "friend" kinda loosely in here because I also believe Hannibal never truly considered someone his friend until Will, but that's another rant)
I think hannibal used his romantic relationships as a means to an end. With Alana he started seeing her as a way of taking something from Will (same way as he was taking his position as profiler on the fbi) while also solidifying his good image and innocence (he used her as an alibi in Futamono), while with Bedelia he used her as a replacement for Will after Mizumono and as way to maintain his image while in Florence (they took the role of an existing married couple).
(While tipying the last paragraph I kinda realized he looked for the company of both woman after being rejected by Will so... take that as you will)
Returning to the appreciation, I do think he saw worth in them, as intelligent people and someone nice to have around, people worth maintaining alive. During Mizumono he could have decided to kill Alana without hesitation, but he didn't, he only promised to kill her after she refused to turn away after being given the option. During Dolce he could have killed Bedelia after she refused to go with him, but he didn't, instead he helped her support her alibi declaring he was maintaining her drugged and not conscious of her identity or actions (but Bedelia did deduce during their goodbyes that Hannibal was going to eat her someday, but that's another rant aswell)
(Also, i see hannibal as a hedonist, so of course if he's maintaining a romantic relationship with beautiful women he's going to take the opportunity to have sex and enjoy it.)
He saw worth in their company and in their minds, but he didn't see them as an equal, someone who could truly understand him, while he did see Will as one.
Alana could have never understood him, with her strong morals and inclination to always do what's right. Her transformation occurred only after being changed by Hannibal (and Abigail), she didn't have a tendency for violence beforehand. With Bedelia is a bit different, she had an awareness of his person suit and has always had a tendency for violence (I love her scenes with Will and their dialogues, I think that's when we begin to understand her more as a character), but also she had a deep fear of what Hannibal truly was and what he was capable of doing. He saw potential for her violence and changed her through their patient, but he also used that to have something to hold against her to encourage her to keep his secrets.
With Will is different, he saw his potential and by the end of the show he could truly see and accept him as he was, finding beauty in their conjoined slaying of the dragon. For Hannibal love is that, understanding and acceptance, and Will was the only person who could truly see him as he was. He could have never had that with Alana or Bedelia.
Anyways, I care so much about Alana and Bedelia and their relationship with Hannibal <3 I truly believe the exploration of the different types of romantic relationships enrich the show a lot and also highlight how special Will is to Hannibal.

When I'm drunk, I get the munchies so how about "what do you want to eat? Bend over"
Oh anon thank you! That was so quick sorry im so slow. I wrote the beginning of this the same night, a bit yesterday while hang over, and just now finished it 😬
I must admit i had to think it throught (let's say translations weren't working in my brain) but here it goes. This is maybe a part of my stripper/CEO wip:
It has been a long day. For the both of them, in very different ways for each, but oh so endlessly long.
There was only one thing in Lexa's mind when she walked into her girlfriend's apartment. -A place so much smaller than her penthouse, but so much more comfortable. A place that felt much more like home than the place she called that for years. - Clarke was in the kitchen wearing only an oversized t-shirt while picking items here and there, moving around the kitchen, deciding then and there what to do.
Lexa had a key, she's had it for over four month now and she loved to use it. She loved the feeling of coming home to her girlfriend. Specially when said girlfriend insist on trying to 'help out' on stressful days full of meeting and sending thousands of provakative pictures, just to then pretend as though those hadn't been sent. Continuing on their previous conversation like nothing happened.
Lexa's underwear has been ruined since noon.
It was currently 9pm.
"Hey baby! Welcome home!"
There was a 'how was your day' hidden in there, but Lexa could sense Clarke bitting her lip. She knew what she had done.
Lexa didn't respond, she just walked into the living room, methodically putting away her suitcase and different bags of folders she brought from work. She took long enough for Clarke to walk out of the kitchen looking for her.
"Long day, beautiful?" Clarke asked Lexa, moving her hands up to her shoulder and turning her around for a greeting kiss.
Those hands moved further back to play with the baby hairs in the back of Lexa's neck as Clarke pulled them closer in the kiss.
Lexa didn't resist. How could she?
Lexa chased -she always did- and pulled at Clarke's hips to drag her closer even if she hadn't moved.
Her hands found their usual spot holding Clarke's hips and she let herself get lost in the kiss. If there was any doubt of whether her intentions for the night were a shared thought, they got erased when a skilled tongue expertly licked its way into her mouth, colliding and dancing with her own for only a second before Clarke retrieved entirely from the kiss.
"What do you want to eat?" Clarke asked inocent, and Lexa actually wondered if the questions was genuine or flirty.
She didn't really care either way. There was still only one thing in her mind. Only one right answer.
So looking down, Lexa grabbed the edge of Clarke's oversized t-shirt and pulled slightly up, just to check that there was no other barrier she had to take care of.
She licked her lips at the sight and with a breathy exhale she looked up again.
"Bend over"
She ordered, looking at Clarke's deep blue eyes and watched them get swallowed by her dilating pupils.
There was a second of shared breath, no hesitation, only pure anticipation. They moved together, turning in sync while Clarke turned on her own too. Lexa's hand were still over Clarke's hips when she leaned over the side of the couch followed by Lexa's chasing lips.
With her elbows firmly on the cushion and Lexa leaning over her back, kissing her shoulder while pulling her shirt up for a better view, Clarke pushed herself back into her girlfriend's body.
Making her way down through Clarke's back with her lips, Lexa thought of a million things she could say, prize Clarke for her obedience and slide into a little role play, scowl at her about the hundreds of nudes she sent Lexa just that day, profess her love for Clarke and verbally worship her. In the end, she knew her lips would do better not talking.
Once she was kneeled down behind Clarke, worship her ass was a must; she kissed and caressed lovingly and then bit and nibble softly, and then not so softly, teasing, testing how far Clarke would let her go. It was a particularly hard, open-mouthed bite that did it.
"Lex" was let out surprisingly calm and collected from above "no marks" All Lexa did was kiss it better, before moving on to her main objective.
♾️
Hour later laying in bed, laying her head on Clarke's chest Lexa looked down at her heavily marked thighs. There were bruises all from the top of her thigh down and around the inner side. She wasn't so sure but she could see one on her calf too.
"We should go on vacation again" Lexa mused, snuggling into Clarke's neck "Somewhere far, far away. For much longer than last time... y'know, so we give time for your hickeys to fade"
An amused exhale was Clarke's answer.
"I'm serious. We could go to Europe... spend a month or something"
"Bell would fire me if I'm gone for that long"
"That'd be a very unwise business decision. He'd lose 30% of his clientele"
"You really just took my word for it?"
"And Raven's. And Octavia's too, she knows about business. I also witnessed it"
Silence spread after Clarke simply hummed. After a couple minutes, the blonde tasked "You ruin all my plans!"
Offended, slightly amused and a little shocked, Lexa lifted her head to gap at Clarke "I was gonna make you an amazing dinner! And you distracted me"
"I distracted you? You asked me what i wanted to eat! Anything that happened after i was done was purely your doing" Lexa deflected, laying her head down again.
"Uhm, sorry? Was i supposed to... what? Just walk back into the kitchen while you literally started undressing in front of me?"
"I was merely getting comfortable" Lexa shrugged with a smirk clear in her tone. Before Clarke could complain, she lifted her head again "Besides, none of this would've happened if you hadn't sent a million pictures while i was working"
Clarke gasped this time, as Lexa relaxed once more "you ungrateful brat! People pay to see what you complain of having access to"
"Nono, i ain't complaining, I'm merely stating arguments to declare my innocence against your accusations"
Clarke laughed out loud and pulled Lexa up for a kiss "i was gonna make you spaghetti with tomato sauce" she grumbled after.
"We can order it" Lexa whispered, still high from the kiss. Clarke laughed again.
"God! Do you do anything by yourself? No wonder your kitchen is spotless, when was the last time you cooked something?"
"My kitchen is spotless because I have a cleaning team going in twice a week. My room and office i do all by myself, for the record"
Leaning into another kiss Clarke chuckled "no wonder they're so dusty"
Lexa gasped into the kiss, Clarke holding her close "your house is dusty" she grumbled, making Clarke laugh again.
"It is not! I just don't have a cleaning team coming in twice a week"
The couple laughed, freely and lovingly as they continued kissing. Enveloped in the sent of their love making and the sound of their shared happiness, Lexa thanked every and any divinity for the chance to have it with Clarke.
"I love you"
"I love you too, baby"
"So about our trip to Europe-"
"Lexa!"

How do you think Alucard and Anderson would confess their feelings to each other?
How do you think Anderson deals with coming to terms with his feelings towards Alucard?
When it comes to Alucard and Anderson's dynamic, majority of their feelings are understood without ever being spoken or directly acknowledged. So for them to confess, truly confess, I don't see it coming naturally to either of them. Alucard needs a shove, and Anderson needs a bit of coaxing.
(WARNING: LONG POST - goes into depth beneath cut)
---
While Alucard shamelessly flirts with and praises Anderson at every opportunity. His admiration, awe, amusement, and thrill all evident. Because Anderson is a willing, capable opponent who shares beliefs parallel to Vlad's own. He's eager, passionate, and raw with his humanity. And he's capable of taking a hit and outliving those who are doomed by time alone. Alucard can endlessly adore him in specific and concept.
However, for Alucard to admit he loves Anderson. That he cares for him, both mentally and physically. Is an entirely different matter. To confess that he'd prioritize Anderson's needs over his own, is the type of commitment that distinguishes love (platonic or romantic), from obsession. It's an intimate and vulnerable feeling. So even if he acts on these emotions, the only way I see Alucard confessing to the hold Anderson has on his heart is when the honesty of that care is challenged.
It's confessed as a pained, furious scream. Not directed at Anderson, but at himself. Reflective of what it implies about his humanity, both past and present. It's confessing not only how important Anderson is to him, and the entirety of what that means. But it'd be a visceral moment where every word would burn his throat. Because it confesses how what remains of his humanity longs for Anderson, yet it's humanity he gave up. So it hardly matters, not when it all ends the same.
---
Contrast of Alucard, is Anderson. He's a naturally caring person, and to a degree, he's honest about his feelings. Including those for Alucard. In the heat of combat, they're easily set aside. But provided a moment of calm, of comfort and safety; he wouldn't deny that truth. Confessed feelings with all the fondness, protectiveness, honesty, pity, and love he has. Perhaps tired and defeated by the weight of those words, but they'd be genuine in their entirety.
However, extracting a compliment-based confession from Anderson would be a near impossible feat. It's not a matter of him 'denying his feelings'. But the challenge of acknowledging those feelings in relation to Alucard being a vampiric monstrosity. And admitting that he finds such a creature beautiful, a cosmic event functioning as a living force. A stunning, yet damning storm. It's a thought infinitely harder for Anderson to admit.
Any praise would be admitting his sins to the greatest sinner he knows. Perhaps over time, he'd make a quip or two. But it would remain a rare indulgence. He'd never be fully comfortable with it, but it's not entirely denied. Because it's a form of damnation he'd indulge in with Alucard. Since the idea of being condemned together isn't entirely unappealing.
---
In the end, it's Anderson struggling with damnation, and Alucard struggling with salvation. It's hard to tell who's leading who. If ones falling or the others rising. Majority of their relationship is deciding it doesn't truly matter. They lie somewhere in the between, where it is neither night nor day.

What are your top 5 Ed x Stede moments? 😊 I’m curiously asking several blogs to see how many of us share favorites!
OH HI UH. okay. let's see.
5. first meeting.... the inherent eroticism of it all. the gay pining and peacocking. stede bleeding out and ed looking at him like he's an absolute snack. it's life-changing. what's not to love tbh.
4. fine things 1.0. aka ed's oh moment.
3. act of grace. it feels like that instance where you think 'oh I am sacrificing something very real for this other person. this is serious.' it's sobering, almost? in that it's instinctual and natural and impulsive and undeniable (love. it's love). you do something you know is self-destructive while also knowing that not doing it is worse. like your body just takes over, and then your brain and your heart are playing catch-up a bit.
2. "WALK." I mean. another instance of instinct taking over. wanting to protect and defend. you get it.
the lovely letter. what really gets to me about this is that, well, obviously stede wrote this letter before they reunited. it's that pining again, this time from stede, stretching all the way through s2 and finally coming to a head. that invisible and unbreakable thread. the irrevocable devotion, culminating in this moment where someone who thought he was unlovable his whole life is being proven wrong.

samjohn where John lives past s2 and holds a dead Sam in his arms instead of Dean in ahbl? How do you think he’d behave?
This is not something I had ever considered before and it made me lose my mind a little bit when I let myself think about it.
I LOVE this scene for Sam and Dean but oh my god can you imagine if it was John in the mud on his knees, rocking Sam back and forth, telling him he's going to be okay because his dad's got him now, he'll keep him safe.
He knows there's nothing he can do, tries his best to keep the tears from his voice as he holds Sam's face in his hands, memorising his features. Wipes the blood from his mouth with a shaky thumb. He wants Sam's last memories to be of him, of someone who loves him so much. He can't let Sam go with his last memories of being stabbed in the back.
He's glad that Dean isn't here to see this, that he doesn't have to see his brother die in front of him.
He's failed both his boys in so many different ways but he never wanted to end up here, could never fathom ending up here even when he considered the thought that he might have to ...
He can't even finish the thought.
Sam isn't dying by his hand but it still feels like a personal failure, like it's his fault somehow. It's like the pain of losing Mary all over again and please God no he can't do this again, he can't breathe as he cradles Sam to his chest and holds his limp head on his shoulder, dirty hand buried in dark curls.
"Shh, Sammy," he whispers, not able to speak any louder than this. He keeps talking, even knowing Sam won't respond to him again. Keeps rocking him like he did when he was trying to soothe a fussy baby Sam. He suddenly thinks of the baby he brought home from the hospital with Mary, of placing him in Dean's arms for the first time. "It's okay." His tears are soaking into Sam's hair, but he doesn't think about how Sam can't feel it. "You ... you'll be with Mary. You'll be safe with her, Sammy." He doesn't even know what he's saying anymore, knees numb from the cold mud and his head and chest aching with a grief he never wanted to feel again. He doesn't believe in happy endings or heaven anymore but if he has to lie to soothe himself Sam, he'll do it. He'll do it if it means he can pretend he made his son's last moments comfortable. He doesn't think about how Sam stopped moving before he started talking to him. He can't stop pretending, he doesn't want to.
