   Today I was suddenly like, what if I made a poem? And so I did. It's honestly more of a story, but wanna know the best part? I tried to make it edgy, whilst the poem was also about milk.

   So enjoy this poem of sad milk!

“   The gallon slished and sloshed. It was flowing as freely as it could within its walls. A week before its expiration, it was fine.

   The noise became less pronounced as the days went on. The day came and it began to sour, chunks clumped together. It was old, but still, it sat in the back of the fridge waiting to be of use again.

   A week after, it still had a small rhythm of slish and slosh, but the chunks had grown, and bits of green started to sprout. However, it still had hope. It was still useful, right?

   The door opened, they had hope, small but there. There was no more slish or slosh, but it was okay, right? The green was very prominent, but that was okay because they could be saved, right?

   On the counter, clear as day, there was another gallon. It slished and sloshed and stood brand new. Suddenly the hope evaporated as they were picked up and thrown in the trash. No slish or slosh, only a thump. They were of no use, they were thrown out.

   Out with the old and in with the new. They watched as the new gallon replaced them, bright and shiny. Automatically they were of use. For the next two days, from the bottom of the bin, they watched as the gallon began to empty. And when it was empty? They used it again. It got used over and over, all while they sat in the trash.

   The slish and slosh haunted them until they eventually got thrown out again.”
