they talk about gossip, homework, assignments etc. the more he talks about it the more it sounds like a secret society. but nonetheless, you join.

personally I think that only a few people know who is who in the chat group. like the organizer because they gotta make sure everyone who has the link is an nrc student. and obviously there's a few friends who gave other people the link or joined together. but there's also active polls where people debate who is who.

just so it gives them the extra comfort of anonymity.

YOU ALWAYS MAY. ask about my ocs. twirls my mane kicks my hooves etc etc. OK! so you might've seen i tagged the zoichik art as "implied death/" & the next post about her as "drowning /" so know those two are part of the #story but i'm not sure as i type this ^ in how much detail i'll go into that.

zoichik was part of a 6-people crew (as depicted in the art) on a small fishing boat, the B. [name withheld] that operated within an arctic sea, something like this

none of the people of the crew (or, mostly, of the village, for that matters) are related to each other, and many have come to the village under generally shady or secretive circumstances (not all, but many). as Her Crew, she was pretty close to most of them at least in a purely professional matter, and then some people she was closer than others. her bonds with the crew went as follow:

Eve, the oldest woman, was the captain. she was generally a recluse and really enjoyed the general air of mystery the village allows her to live in, and only really brightened up at sea, which made it a bit hard to bond with her because when at sea She Was Focused. zoichik very much looked up to her, and she was like a substitute mother to zozo (who also came to the village in generally Shady circumstances + with the explicit purpose of remaking her life away from her previous life), even tho that bond was Naht reciprocated like eve did not see her as a daughter figure, but she was kind enough in her outwardly gruffness.

Maksim, the oldest man and eldest of the crew at all, was second-in-command and engineer aboard the B. he was kind of the opposite of Eve, in that he was lively and social and playful on shores but was stricter and sterner aboard the ship, which is kinda for the best since he was in charge of making sure that damned boat like. Went. on the boat, zoichik (and the rest of the crew) had to actively obey him, but them all went about it in a very "sir yes sir :saluting emoji:" like goofy way, while still very much actually doing what he asked, because they all knew that once back on the ground they go eat and smoke with him and hear his same jokes for the 20th time. he was zoichik's buddy.

Valermiye was the youngest of the crew and while he was kind and nice and a little childish and whimsical, everyone could kinda see he didn't want people in his business/was purposefully evasive about what his life before was like, so nobody pushed. zoichik was neither particularly close nor particularly distant from him, and appreciated his company, he was like someone's younger brother, just not hers ykwim.

Lora was kind of the same, as in reclusive and not wanting people in her business, but she was Not nice and kind and whimsical. she was nervous, secretive, and really disliked socializing, which was not out of the mold for people of the village so it was just kinda accepted that it was how it was for her. everyone, most people had towards her a "hey if you want to talk about anything you can hit me up" type of attitude, including zoichik.

Mimik oh mimik was zoichik's favorite. they were close, not as close as zoichik wanted it to, but she was kind of too shoy to push for more. Mimik was very social, lively and brisk and impetuous, a ray of sunshine through the arctic winters if the sun was a ardent and impulsive and a bit brash. she and zoichik had the kind of "extravert adopting an introvert" type of friendship. zoichik loved her. like 👉👈 Loved her. she'd accompany her on trips to the big town south, they were both deckhands then the double trouble of experienced deckhands + boatswains at once, and general at shore they'd spend time with each other rather than others. mimik had big plans and big ambitions but none of them involved leaving the village or life at sea, which made zoichik believe they could stick together for a long, long time, and she would daydream about like. a life together.

the B. capsized and sank in fall of 2004 from dramatic ice accumulation on the deck combined with an unpredictable storm coming onto her, and zoichik was the only survivor. 3 bodies were recovred, and the two still lost at sea are the ones of the two women zoichik felt the closest to, Eve and Mimik. the fact that they are not legally classified as Dead but are under a "presumption of death" haunts zoichik. it's a way of saying "their chances of having survived are close to zero..... but are not zero per se" and it drives zoichik mad and makes the grief even harder to cope with. she is still, 5 years after the sinking, beating herself up over not having told mimik how she felt. until the hauntings change shapes. :~3

Last Song: I've been listening to a lot of video game soundtracks. I think the very last thing I listened to was Bismarck's theme from FFXIV. I think it's really neat that the boss themes in FFXIV aren't what you'd expect from boss music. Bismarck had no right to be that groovy btw. I don't know if that's the case across the rest of the Final Fantasy series as I've only played 14 & uhh Kingdom Hearts idk if that counts lol. In all honesty Wrecker has been on my mind much more and was closer to making it on my f/o list, but I didn't add him yet cuz one, I cant think of a good ship title, and two, with season 2 of Bad Batch currently airing, I'm just. Just saw your post and I'm kinda want to share my thoughts for the self aware au sksnksan (kinda a bit shy HAHAHABA👉👈)

It's all started when I encounter self aware au Genshin, well ofc they all Yandere. It's fun to see there's a lot of headcanon lol. And then I enter SAGAU Genshin where it's the reader is the "imposter" and "God", it was fun at first reading it but I find myself not enjoy it since I find op reader kinda boring and I don't really like how all the characters worship and obsessed them isneiww but of course, this is my preference and I don't mean anything offensive. (Well, this means I'm not really a fan of harem jansia) Also it's quite rare to see the non-yandere self aware one 😂 although ig I still enjoy the yandere one haha

Anyways, I always thinking when the reader suddenly isekai to the game, I think they will started to notice the change of behaviors of the characters than how they act in-game, depends how observant they are.

Like hey, have you noticed how Riddle seems to nervous around you? That's quite weird isn't it? Have you done something wrong? Hm, maybe it's nothing! Is it just me or did Leona kinda clingy than usual? Is he like this in-game? Also I swear that Azul always almost lose his composure. I wonder what's wrong... Kalim is the same sunshine as always... but something feels wrong, but what is it wrong? His behavior never change... Right? The famous actor, the loveable Queen Vil seems to quite love to give you skincare, I don't mind but isn't the skincare products seems too much than usual?! Is this normal? Idia also the same as always but why do I feel like wherever I go, there's like cameras? Shivers...

Also Hornton- Malleus, is it just me or there's a sound of thunder just now? Why are you looking at them with that scary eyes of yours? They didn't do anything wrong tho...

Depending on the player's personality, they will probably more open up to the characters they simp or pretend they never seen this person for the rest of their life. If it were me, I would pretend like "Omg! What is this world?! Totally did not play this game or know the characters! Hahaha!" even if they are secretly obsessed with the player, you never know if they truly know they are just a bunch of characters slap into the game for entertainment purpose. You don't want to make the situation more weirder, do you? Let's pretend we did not heard any characters simping for the player, haha- oh shit wait, why are they attacking each other-

Although the self aware au are fun and games especially yandere, let's imagine yourself fr Isekai in the game and all the characters obsessed with you. I hope you mentally prepared for that haha :) It may be a very scary experience but who knows some ppl into it

People say they will fix the obsessive and tragic characters, but how about fix yourself first?/lh

Okay but fr, it will be kinda cool chatting with the self aware characters but imagine you got slap into the game and after getting close to the characters you like, imagine you kinda want to tell them the truth and be like:

“Hey, you're a game character btw.”

“Oh dw, I know.”

“Haha that's great! Wait what.”

I think that's all from me, I feel like I wanted to share my thoughts more for the self aware au but I feel like my brain already flush out all my remaining thoughts for this 💀 I'm really sorry if this offensive to people cuz of my wording, but hey! Everyone has their own different preference so you do you! :D (okay that sounds kinda rude wtf me-)

Tbh if you write yandere you sometimes have to say “Uh... this not only kinda but very wrong.” (bc there will always people who will be like “I want to have such a relationship!” no, no you don't) and I couldn't find anything offensive until now so dw. (I think there is nothing offensive in there? Tell me if I'm wrong. Maybe I'm already too tired to think straight.) And it's your opinion on the SAGAU. Totally fine. If people are mature enough they will just be like “ok. Their opinion. Not the law of the world.”

But your take on the whole thing is also pretty fascinating. (Nevermind that little bit at the end. Made me chuckle.) I mean, reader just gets launched into TWST without any warning so of course they will not be prepared for anything and just take what they are given. Ofc it's going to be scary.
