I was wondering if you can do one about mc who is very clingy but isn't interesting in dating. So when the gods ask to date them it's just super awkward because mc showed an interest before but now they're saying no for what seems like no reason. You can do all or maybe just Aigo and Scorpio? Thanks 💜💜

Rejected (AKA: Secondhand Embarrassment)

Synopsis: Being clingy was just in MC’s nature, they never really meant anything by it. But the gods might have misunderstood MC’s affections for them. It's time for them to salvage their pride and their friendship.

Gender-neutral Goldfish!

A/N: HAHAHA As if I would so simply choose to embarrass just two of the gods! You underestimate me! Tho you severely overestimate my ability to perfect their personalities.🥺 I don't know how to Krioff very well—or Partheno or Lou, for that matter. Dui maybe, because I think Dui and I share the same brain cell aside from his Shadow Dui situation.

As for my employment…. I'm working on an otome-type of game but it's not SCM, and it's not published yet. 🤭 No secrets, but if you’re interested, I’ll tell you about it and mayhaps show you some concept art.

You should have seen this coming but… really, how could you know? He looked so genuinely hopeful that you would wear a wide smile and jump straight into his warm embrace. To make things worse… everyone was staring at you. Everyone was expecting a response from you.

“So…” He started again, his confidence was overwhelming you. “Will you be mine and allow our love to shine as bright as the stars?”

Why did he have to do this right after they had solved all your issues? Why did it have to be in front of the King especially? Well, to be specific, he asked the King first before the King said he needed your express permission. If the King was so omnipotent, he could have easily said no.

But putting you on the spot was confusing you even more than necessary! After a long fit of silence, you finally opened your mouth making them draw in a bated breath as they awaited your answer. “I… Er… No?”

Leon was at a loss for words. Did you just… reject him? Him? The God of Leo? Wait, no. You were probably too flustered in front of everyone to answer with your true feelings. It wasn't like this never happened before. He's teased you tons of times before and made your brain stop functioning. Besides, with all the attention you give him, you certainly feel the same passion he does.

His confidence never faltered as he suggested, “You're getting flustered again, goldfish. Come. I have the patience to wait for your goldfish brain to understand my words.” Little did he know that you being flustered wasn't the problem this time. He easily brushed your answer off as a mistake as he took you through his door to have the privacy you clearly needed. Evidently, it was something he needed as well since you watched his walls crumble before you. His soft eyes gazed into yours as he openly admitted, “It's simple… I love you.”

You gathered that much, but you wished he would stop saying it. Still, you smiled kindly. “Thank you. I like you, Leo. But… I don't want a relationship.”

He froze again, just as he had done the first time. “You…” By all means he could have said anything to force you into a relationship with him. He loved you! He was a god! You- You had no right not to accept his feelings! But he never once forced you to play with his hair… or hold his hand… or wrap yourself around his torso when he was busy working. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion. “You aren't head over heels for me…?”

You shook your head.

“And you don't want a relationship with me?”

You hummed, noting his dejected air. If you weren't careful, then you'd lose your friend. He was on the verge of shutting himself off from love again. You grabbed his hand so energetically; it surprised him. “I like you. Can we have a platonic relationship?”

You desperately wanted him to accept and all he could see was the desperation in your eyes to keep him. You were such an enigma of a goldfish. To avoid getting as flustered as he usually made you, he looked away with a pout as he confidently responded, “Sure, goldfish.”

Karno was expecting a timid answer but… no? You just said no in front of everyone. He was absolutely sure that he wasn't the only one not expecting that answer. You gave no indication that your answer could have been no! Even now, you were smiling despite how clearly embarrassed you were.

You were embarrassed? Karno was a vice minister, and you just said no to him! Even so, if he were to say anything unacceptable then he'd look like the bad guy. Besides, what was he thinking? You probably hated him after all he had done and put you through!

“Karno,” your voice pulled him out of his self-deprecating thoughts. “Let’s step out. I need some air.” In truth, you thought he looked like he needed air. Did your response wind him that badly?

Luckily he took you outside right away so you could both be alone. It was the correct move on your part since he thankfully opened up once you were both standing in the palace garden. “I may have misunderstood some things regarding our relationship…”

Comfortingly, your hand tugged around his arm as you stood closer to him. You didn't want to invade his personal space entirely after rejecting him. “I didn't say no because I don't like you. I just like what we have now.”

Essentially, what you had now was your relentless affection for him. All of the gods were aware of your tendency for physical praise. Karno would need more hands if he wanted to count on his fingers how many times you'd latched yourself onto his arms—it was basically any time the two of you were in the same room. Which, interlocking arms was basically a symbol of being in a relationship… so, why? Were you truly that content with what you had now?

If that was the case, then Karno would just have to shove back his embarrassment and handle the situation like the god he was. It was especially embarrassing how you were handling this better than him. He sighed before a smile crossed his lips. “If the relationship we have now is what you love… then I'm okay with that.” And you knew he was being honest with how his arm curled enough to lock yours against him, his free hand resting on top of yours.

No? Huedhaut knew he was hoping too hard and reaching too far thinking you could possibly feel the same way he did. He was just holding onto the false hope that you retained her emotions towards him. This left him questioning whether he truly loved you or the soul that resided within you.

“I'm sorry,” he immediately responded as if the whole thing were an accident that shouldn't have happened—as if he verbally tripped over a rock that got in his way. “I was out of line thinking I could have her back. I didn't mean to make it seem like I was trying to use you for my own ends. You're not-”

“Hue,” you stopped his ramblings then and there. Your voice called him back to the present, and he felt a harsh longing in his heart for you to want him as much as he wanted you. Your slight gesture to the door told him enough. Things were getting too personal in front of the other gods who were no doubt feeling pity for Huedhaut.

But as you took Huedhaut’s hand and led him outside of the palace, he realized his assumptions were impossibly wrong. He never saw you as her. You were uniquely your own person, and he fell in love with your personality, not hers. How could he think that was where the issue was? He sighed, his hand still intertwined with yours as he stared up at the sky. “I lost my composure…” You knew that, that's why you took him outside. “You're incredibly clever when you want to be,” he complimented. “In any case, I apologize for making a scene with you at the center of attention.”

Could you blame him? He wondered. He was sure you loved him all the same. Why else would you hold his hand like she did? Why would you always offer your presence? Even when he was busy you somehow knew your presence soothed him and ended up showing up with him. Though you reminded him of her… You weren't. It was clear as night and day and he loved you all the more.

“I don't need you to apologize to me,” you responded kindly, knowing he needed the support. “You should apologize to yourself first. What happened still bothers you. So, I'll stay with you until you forgive yourself, because I care about you a lot. I'm not going to leave you.”

Those words…he wished she used them. But he found himself looking at you with such loving eyes even after you refused a relationship with him. He appreciated this. If not for you rejecting him, he never would have known how important it was to simply cherish the relationship he had with you. He needed nothing more from the reincarnation of his love. You wouldn't leave him.

His hand tightened fractionally around yours, but still kept its gentle softness. “Thank you, (Name).”

Teorus blinked, not really saying anything for a second as he comprehended your short rejection. You had rejected him multiple times in the course of your relationship but he was beyond confident that this was the time! He waited patiently and learned a lot leading up to this moment… But he still failed.

He was absolutely flabbergasted that he'd failed again so horribly—and in front of all the gods who thought he was just like his dad and had the ability to get with anyone he set his eyes on! This had to be a cruel prank orchestrated by Ichthys! He let out an awkward huff of laughter. “You're… joking, right?”

But you shook your head. You weren't joking, and he felt his heart sink. Was this it? Was this the end? It didn't make any sense.

“Sorry,” you quickly apologized, dragging his attention back to you. You were getting embarrassed but Teorus only thought it was cute and considered it as revenge for rejecting him. “That was so abrupt… I didn't mean to sound so mean. Let's restart! Um… Please, restart!”

It was too late for that. You already embarrassed him before embarrassing yourself with a frantic apology. He snapped his fingers, making a frantic escape with you where you both ended up in his room. “I just don't understand why you said no,” he whined. “You meant to say yes, didn't you? I mean, why else would you kiss my cheek every time you see me? Or- or when we're together and you just wrap your arms around my neck like a warm sweater. You hug me way too much for you to think of me as a friend!”

“But, Teo…” Your voice sounded broken, as if he had just asked to break up with you or worse. Why did you seem like you were ready to cry at a moment's notice when he just wanted to be your boyfriend? “I love being your best friend. I love seeing what you and Ichthys have and I want that too! It won't be the same. I just… want to keep this. Don't make us change.”

His cheeks reddened at how determined you were to stay with him just as he was. He hadn't realized that was the problem. He just made an embarrassing situation even worse. “I…” He wasn't even sure what to say in response. “Yeah. As long as you're with me, that's okay.” This was a type of love he wasn't familiar with. He was glad you were there to show it to him.

Aigonorus tilted his head, his eyes shutting as he thought intensely on your brief message. It was a short and simple response but it left him puzzled. “I think…” He started slowly, pausing to really contemplate what was going on in his head. “I need a nap.”

What he needed was to wake up from this bad dream where the person he loved was leaving him again. Was it truly happening again? He was used as a bodyguard and a body pillow and this is how he was repaid? Well, to be fair, you were the body pillow, but that wasn't the point!

Still, even after he left the room, you were chasing after him like a lost puppy. He couldn't understand why you'd want to torture him even further after he just tried to give you his heart. “Wait, please,” you called, your plea forcing him to respond in kind. “Where are you going?”

“Home.”

You stared silently at each other until you broke the silence, shyly saying, “But I wanted to stay with you.”

His eyebrows furrowed. Could you be any more confusing as a goldfish? “Why? You don't like me.”

Like him? You gave him that impression? You didn't mean to; you were just put on the spot all of a sudden! “But I said no because I like you! I really like you. It's just… relationships hurt you so bad. I thought what we had was better than what you had with her. You seemed happy so I just- I wanted you to keep being happy without wondering if I was ever just using you too.”

It surprised Aigonorus at how genuinely reasonable you sounded. You only rejected him to protect him, to avoid something like what he was doing now. Just like he didn't want you to leave, you didn't want him to leave. You just had a gentler way to go about it.

If Aigo was being honest, however, he was okay with this. If this was how you wanted to keep things then there was less risk this way, wasn't there? When did you get so thoughtful? He hummed, his lips pulling up into a smile. “I like what we have… Yeah.” So it was never about using Aigo for his status as a god… This was enough to prove that your feelings were genuine. If anything, he should be glad you didn't jump at the opportunity to say yes.

“Are you okay?”

Your question jostled him out of his thoughts and he shut his eyes tiredly. “I made myself tired by worrying. I want to sleep. But… I want you to come with me.” Of course, he did. Aigo would never change and you didn't want him to.

Tauxolouve was expecting a lot of things… ‘No’ was not one of them. Why did it feel as if one of his arrows had suddenly pierced his heart? But… Was there a chance at all that he simply misunderstood you? You did stutter, after all. Breathlessly, he said, “Pardon?”

“I, uh,” you awkwardly started again. “N- No?”

Was that a question? Tauxolouve didn't think it was that hard of a question. He just wanted to know if he could be your boyfriend—and surely you should have said yes. “Sorry,” he started slowly, still trying to wrap his mind around it. “Did I make you uncomfortable? I probably shouldn't have sprung it on you like this. Let's have some privacy, shall we?” He was at least thoughtful enough to take you out of the palace.

But did he really spring it on you? He was sure you felt the same way as him. All the times you shared a kiss had to mean something. Besides, he knew he'd be there when you eventually died so it wasn't like he was making any random assumptions about being your life partner.

Of course, you knew where he was coming from. You just didn't expect him to ask you like that. It's not like it was your fault you were addicted to his personality. Not to mention you were both human in some way. He was a demi god, and you were a reborn goddess so it made sense that you had a natural bond.

“I'm fine, I promise,” you tried your best to convince him, but you weren’t being very persuasive with that nervous expression.

He licked his lips, giving himself time to think through the situation. He had his thoughts gathered, the only thing he couldn’t wrap his mind around was your answer. “You said no. Would you be displeased with me as a boyfriend? I made a mistake in my choice of asking you, haven’t I?”

“Th- That’s not it,” you helplessly tried to explain. You didn’t want him to feel like you didn’t like him, but it was sure sounding like it. “I’m not interested in dating. I just really like being with you.”

Tauxolouve pursed his lips. He almost understood what you were saying. “You mean to say… you’re not displeased with me and you didn’t hate when I kissed you?”

“No,” you acknowledged. “That was nice. We could do it again.”

He didn’t understand you in the least bit, but he found it endearing how you felt about him despite not wanting to date him. He could accept this relationship, in any case. “Alright then. I can do that, (Name).”

Did Zyglavis just hear you correctly? He asked you to be his, and you said… no? He was the Minister of the Department of Punishments; did you realize that? There were so many reactions he had been expecting, but you so calmly rejected him in front of everyone including the Department of Wishes. Did you want him to look like the bad guy for pressuring you in front of all these people? He didn’t think this through.

“I apologize,” he quickly tried to pick up the pieces of his shattered pride. “This was ill-timed, I suppose. I hadn’t meant to make you uncomfortable.” Him make you uncomfortable? He was the one who looked like he was about to faint from embarrassment.

Letting out a quiet sigh, you kindly took his hand before excusing you from the King’s presence. It seemed that you’d broken the Minister of Punishments and needed to fix him before he’d be able to function properly again. Pulling him out and down the hall, you stopped and stood silently.

You at least wanted to give him time to collect himself before you spoke up, “Are you okay?”

He pursed his lips. “It’s going to take a moment.” Stick in the mud that he was, he had never attempted to date someone. Suffice to say, this was both his first and last rejection.

Still, you thought he was being far too hard on himself. Being as clingy as usual, you tugged his ponytail until he was confusedly leaning down to your level. He blinked, severely lost as you pressed your lips against his forehead before wrapping your arms around his neck, nuzzling into his shoulder. You did all this as if you hadn’t just made him suffer through heart break all in the span of ten minutes. “Are you okay now?”

“Humanity is lost on me.”

You huffed in amusement. “I like you, Zy. You shouldn’t change. And you shouldn’t try to change us, because I like us. Is that okay?”

You tilted your head curiously to gauge his expression, but his hands kept your head pressed against his shoulder. “That’s fine… You could have saved me the embarrassment…” He didn’t like how your apology came with a muffled laugh, but he had no choice but to begrudgingly accept it.

It took everything Scorpio had to even ask that question in front of these idiots. When the King said to ask you for permission, he thought he would die. But hearing you say no to his face was just spreading up the process of death. While it took everything in him to ask that question, it equally took everything in him not to just grab you, throw you over his shoulder, and run off with you to demand answers in the safety of his room.

Instead, his eye twitched as he tried to keep his utmost composure. “You don’t wanna… talk about this?” He phrased it as a question, but there was no way he was going to let you get away without explaining a few choice things to him.

But it surprised him when you nodded in agreement with his kind suggestion. “We can talk about it. But I don’t want to date you.”

“You-” How could you be so blunt about it in front of everyone?! You were making this ten times worse than it originally was! You were making it so much harder not to drag you out of there. “Come here.” He grumbled as he grabbed your arm, dragging you out of the room. He swore that if anyone stopped him that this wouldn’t end well.

But it seemed that even you could sense the irritation seeping from him. “Scorpio?”

“What the hell was that frickin for?”

You would have flinched back at his harsh words if you weren’t used to his sharp temper. You’d been victim to his verbal attacks enough times to know he was more irritated with himself than with you. It was just up to you to figure out what was going on in his head or try to soothe the problem by talking about what was happening. “You’re mad… but I don’t see why. Do you… not like the relationship we have? I can do better.”

He blinked in confusion before huffing. He didn’t like how you were overcomplicating this by suddenly pushing the blame on him. “What? No. I like being with you. Why the hell do you think I asked you to be with me?”

“But I am with you Scorpio,” you argued as if it were supposed to be obvious.

He practically growled as he took you into his arms, getting the affirmation he needed through a hug. You never knew the rubbish that came out of your own mouth anyway. In a hug, he could feel the way you loved him, even if you didn’t want to date him. “You’re my stupid goldfish.”

Dui’s immediate thoughts were that you hated him because of when Shadow Dui had tried to kill you. You were still feeling bitter over that and didn’t want him to be your boyfriend. He screwed everything up! He lost his best friend and now you hated him too! “I’m sorry!” He apologized loudly for everything he’d ever done to hurt you or make you sad. “I’m so sorry! Please, don’t hate me! I won’t ask again! I know you wouldn’t want to date some split personality freak like me! I- I overstepped your boundaries and-”

“Dui…”

“I didn’t mean to, I promise! I swear it won’t happen again!”

That’s it, he was guilt tripping the other gods for making him seem like the bad guy for having a darker split personality. You sighed, your palm landing flat on Dui’s head to direct his attention solely on you. “I like you and Shadow Dui, and the other gods are getting used to Shadow too. But I really don’t wanna date anyone. I just wanna stay with you and Shadow. Can I do that?”

“Huh?” The tears that were gathered in his eyes a moment ago failed to fall as he stared at you with wide eyes. What he gathered was that you essentially… wanted to date him without dating him? Wait, that wasn’t quite right. He wondered if he could get you to repeat that again before Shadow Dui came out with a scowl on his face. “You two are making a big scene for nothing.” Grabbing the back of your shirt, Shadow practically dragged you out of the Palace like a puppy that was causing too much trouble.

“Shadow,” you asked, trying to look at him despite how he held you an arms length away. “Are you mad at Dui for asking me to date him?”

“Pfft, no.” Shadow scoffed as if it were the most ridiculous idea he’d ever heard. “Of course, you wouldn’t wanna date that loser. Not when you already belong to us. You’re not going anywhere else. Maybe he forgot that you’re just a lonely goldfish without him.”

His words should have been considered offensive by all means, but you laughed knowingly. That was just like something Shadow would say. That was all Shadow wanted to confirm as he switched back with Dui who was slightly relieved to have his other half. He pulled you to his chest, wrapping you up in his arms. “As long as you don’t leave me then I’m okay with this relationship. Promise you’ll stay?”

“Promise, Dui.”

Ichthys was convinced that this was just your way of pranking him. It wasn’t all that funny, but if that was your best attempt then he’d just have to teach you how to really get him next time. And maybe learn how to read a room? The King was standing right there. Still, he wouldn’t let your joke completely flop and he laughed for your sake. “Your little smile isn’t fooling anyone, (Name). You should practice your poker face more. I have just the coach for you! Zyglavis does a perfect poker face—he’d definitely give you some pointers.”

You stared at him in confusion for a moment. “Huh?” He thought you were just… joking with him? Well, that was pretty much the base of your relationship; but it was mostly you laughing at Ichthys’ jokes. You didn’t think you were comically funny like your favorite fish stick.

“You’re really sticking to it this time, aren’t you?” He could admire your determination. After all, determination was what could make or break a good prank—even if yours fell apart the minute it began. “Not bad. But, seriously, do you want to be mine? I could be your boyfriend!”

“I don’t want you to be my boyfriend,” you answered just as honestly as you did the first time. Of course you had your reasonings, but he apparently wasn’t giving you the light of day to explain why you were okay with your current relationship.

“That’s just a bad joke though, right…?” Why else would you have been clingy with him this whole time? You were the only one who ever laughed so hard at his pranks on both you and the other gods. No one else appreciated him like you did. No one cried as hard as you did when you thought Ichthys was going to die. Was what you had with him not special enough for him to be your boyfriend? You seemed awfully serious about it and he didn’t like it one bit.

“I don’t want you to be my boyfriend,” you repeated, and it resonated in his head like a nasty echo. “You’re my fish stick. I can’t call you something I don’t want you to be. I like my fish stick.”

So you were playing with him! Sort of, anyway. For a second, he was afraid you were breaking up with him. That is, if you’d been dating before. Though, you were close enough that he supposed he could let you get away without agreeing to date him. It wasn’t like he didn’t like what you had. “I can handle being a fish stick—as long as I’m the only fish stick!”

Originally, Krioff wasn’t going to make such a big deal out of things. But you were the one who tried so hard to get him to come out of his shell and you were the one who wept for him when he was gone! You were sure he was never coming back. But now that he was here and in front of you… you said no. Humans confused him as it was, but he didn’t need you to confuse him too.

Sometimes you were just so contradictory, saying one thing but then doing something else entirely. For instance… saying no when he asked to date you yet here you were holding onto him like your life depended on it. His eyebrows furrowed together. None of the other gods looked like they could give him any clues as to what happened while he was out.

He sighed. Maybe there was a different issue. “Hey, you feelin’ alright?”

You lifted your head, your watery eyes landing on him as you held him in a death grip. “Don’t ever leave me again, Krioff! I can’t believe you did that!”

“I…” He hesitated. “You just said you didn’t want to be with me.”

“No,” you argued with a pout. Krioff never understood what you meant when you said something. “I said no ‘cause I didn’t want to date you. But you leaving me was so much crueler. It hurt so much not being able to see you—and then I thought I’d never be able to see you again.”

“But… dating me is the same as being with me?” Now even Krioff didn’t sound too sure of himself. It wasn’t like he’d ever been in this situation before. The pleading looks he was shooting to gods like Lou and Partheno were getting him nowhere as no one was bothering to explain anything to him. His desperately confused eyes flew back to you. “Let me see… You want to be with me forever but you don’t want to date me?” You nodded, meaning he was getting somewhere. Still, he didn’t see a difference. But he didn’t need a fancy title as long as it meant you were going to be his. Sighing, his arms wrapped around you and he felt you physically relax in his hold. “Alright then, you can be with me and we don’t have to date…”

He still wasn’t sure what the difference was, but if it made you happy…

Partheno wasn’t yet fully redeemed, he understood that much; but he didn’t understand the harsh rejection. You were so straightforward too. The sincerity was almost enough to make him cry. “Wow… I suppose it's less than I deserve after all I’ve done. Your mercy is appreciated, at least.” Still, there were a few things he wanted to know. Though, he was sure you'd appreciate not being questioned in front of the others. “Could we talk?”

You didn't see why he was being so withdrawn suddenly as he asked to speak with you outside. You didn't argue as you followed him out, choosing not to say much at all in fear of silencing him further. He acted like… you weren't friends anymore. The thought upset you and you couldn't help but blurt out, “Are you breaking up with me because I don't want to date you?”

He drew back, his eyes wide in surprise. He was hoping to start on a different note, but you looked like you were ready to cry. “I- I'm not breaking up with you.” The minute the words were out of his mouth, he paused. Break up? That was a dating term… But you weren't dating? Was this some human relationship thing that he didn't understand? “I'm honestly confused. Do you think you could be a little clearer with me? You said you don't want to date me… What would you like?”

Your hopeful eyes pierced his soul, and he felt oddly warm when you announced, “I like you and I don't want us to change. I like the Partheno I first met, the one who showed me around the Heavens. I like the one who sacrificed his identity so he wouldn't have to leave me.” He watched silently as you adorably fiddled with your fingers. “Please, stay with me just the way you are. I don't want anything else.”

A gentle smile crossed his lips. He truly looked like the god of love and beauty in your eyes as he reached forward to caress your cheek. “I wouldn't dream of doing anything you don't want. I'll keep being a Partheno worthy of your love.” He paused, coming face to face with another conundrum. “Is it… alright to consider you my love?”

He sighed in relief as you nodded your head. “You did it before. It'd be weird if the god of love didn't love me. I love you too!”

A confused huff left his lips. Were all humans like this when it came to being affectionate with someone they loved but didn't want to date?

He wasn't sure… But he wouldn't complain. “Yes, I love you too.”

i will ramble about some of my characters under a cut i dont wanna flood anyones dash with my bullshit if they dont want it!!! anyone playing in a campaign with me..... proceed with caution if you read!!! even tho i am coming back to this after deciding i needed to be done and. i didnt say too much spoilery shit. i didnt even talk backstory much. its fine.

as for ocs im obsessed with i am Entirely Not Normal about my character nowell, i wasnt fully normal about him when i first made him, but at the time i was only really talking to my ex and all the parts of nowell that really made him Nowell to me were things he didnt want to discuss so i didnt get to explore him to his full capacity. i dont blame him since nowell is one of the darkest characters??? ive ever made???? in terms of the things hes gone through? i affectionately call him a walking trigger warning. but it still made me sad sometimes

now tho? when i was able to put him into a modern horror dnd campaign and i played him a bit before our current hiatus? where ive gotten to fully explore him and every single facet of him, good and bad? it really unleashed him fully in my brain and it kinda makes me really emotional. i fully developed his backstory out more than i felt i could before (because what did it matter before if i could never utilize it? had to dull him down to be easier to deal with and honestly i think thats had an effect on his character now too) and ive learned more about him, hes grown into himself and he truly is out here changing my brain chemistry. i love him so, so, so much and i have drawn him more than any other oc i have im pretty sure. hes my most drawn son and i really wish i was braver about posting oc art on my blog now a days like i used to be in the past because i love my art of him. im pretty proud of it and the way hes made me want to create again. i just wish i could do him more justice yknow??? g uh hes everything to me im holding him so so gently in my arms

and also my boy veth???? g o d i love him sm especially since i!!! recently got to confirm/drop a big lore reveal about him in my campaign thats been going for like 2 years at this point!!! my party finally knows hes the only survivor of the royal family of kuzania and thus the rightful heir to the throne and not the BBEG whose currently ruling! i feel So Free now that i can mention his princely-ness truly i do. hes just. so sweet and so lovely and hes everything i love in a character cause truly i just accidentally made My Type in a man and now its just veth. the only way he could be even more my type is if he was a tiefling instead of an elf but he makes up for that by being like. 1/4 platinum shadow dragon. and one day thats gonna pop out with him i know it to be so. i want him to be able to have a bit of a draconic-ish form because of how STRONG that 1/4 dragon blood is. im gonna work on it eventually, but im v happy with him hes so pretty and i adore him

he also recently canonically got with a PC in the campaign (hes a main story npc!!!) and im So Not Normal About Them theyre driving me up a wall and i literally cried over them earlier this week because my friend came at me with a fuckin baseball bat of an answer to a vague scenario/question i told them about cause im batshit and think about character scenarios every day of my life.

im also leaving my setting for that campaign open for friends who arent playing in it to make characters and throw em in and one of my friends made an au of a character she already had that im Deeply And Completely Obsessed With named creed to put him into this world specifically to date veth cause theyre obsessed with veth like i am their chara and we had joked like "aha what if we just picked them up like barbies and made them kiss just to see if it worked out" and now they are literally The Couple Ever. like there have never been 2 men who were more perfect for each other in this entire world and the way they have a fuckin grip on me. i have also cried over them several times. veth is a poly king and by GOD is he winning rn. we have made this au version of creed canon in stadalon so veth is gonna have TWO boyfriends!!!! perhaps 2 husbands! perhaps 3!!!! cause another friend has an oc to kiss him with!!! we shall see!!!!

guuuuh and also my vampire spawn shadow genasi/tiefling requiem??? recently hes been So Loud in my head. i specifically made him to romance a character my friend made (same one who made creed) named harbinger cause i saw him and immediately fell head over heels and begged her to let me kiss him and other friends in the call at the time he was shown immediately jumped on the bandwagon wanting to make characters in relation to him (2 of them made siblings for him, theyre triplets! and the other just decided to make the most normal man ever (a fuckin lie. theyre Not Fucking Normal) because of the triplets happening and me being like imma out-goth this goth tiefling and out came requiem) and the last friend in call decided hell why not make a whole campaign out of these losers just for this One Blue Tiefling Our Friend Made That We All Love.

in campaign shit is Constantly Happening but me and them were talking and she told me that harbinger is finally starting to get to a point hes falling for him and requiems already been there cause hes disney prince ass level falls hard and fast. im cheering and screaming and kicking and crying i love them so much we keep talking future scenarios for them and im so deeply in love with how soft and gentle and adoring theyre going to be with one another one day and i would die for them both.

plus i just. Love requiem sm hes such a big soft sad bastard and the fact that he loves and cares so fuckin deeply and hes so kind? so open? so genuine? was not in the plans when i first sat down to play him he was supposed to be more moody and a bit more intense than he is now. he held my face before i even opened my mouth to play him and said no. i am kind. i am patient and understanding and i was born to love and to take care of people. i have also cried over him. i love him so so much and im just guuuUUUH yknow what i mean.

anyway. ill leave it at those 3!!! or i will never shut up!!! i have more ive been thinking about a lot recently but i will leave it at my 3 most precious blorbos if you made it this far i adore you pls take all my love

im making crk vvision hcs. now <3

-choco got his anemo vision a week before he got the strawberry jam sword. he trained a lot with it, and got the hang of it pretty quick- after what happened he didnt find a use for it until he joined dark enchantress. he disguises it as an electro vision now and hides it on his armor.

-majority of juice/liquid based cookies (sparkling, vampire, sea fairy, maybe lime and orange, etc) have hydro visions. some parts of their body also become translucent and are tinted in the color of their drink.

-clotted assumed all his life he would get a geo vision like most of his descendants did. he was completely prepared to get one, he even already had a weapon suited for geo wielders, and when he got a cryo vision instead he didnt know what to do.

-cream puffs anemo vision fell out of the sky and bonked her on the head. it has a little crack in it now. (still works tho she never told anyone)

-werewolf collects empty visions. he wont outright ask if you have any, but he finds quite a bit of them. he thinks theyre intresting.

-lilac and yogurt cream trained together because they have the same vision and weapon types (catalysts), but even so their fighting styles are very different.

-after being cast out of heaven, devil got an empty vision. just an empty one. only after accepting his place in hell did it turn to pyro.

-sherbets vision is empty, but he can still use cryo.

Problems with mha

I have a lot of love for mha but with it seemingly starting to clme to a rushed close which was confirmed by the author, i think now is a good time to go over my problems with it. Now I dont hate mha i Love it! But like most of what I love it has a lot of flaws most dont stop me from enjoyin it. Others can

But my main problem with the show is its beginning. It was decent but at times imo not the best of its writing by a longshot to put it kindly.

Firstly Bakugou in the beginning. I get he’s supposed to be the jerk who turns into a better person, but every other ver of this character type starts wayyyy better then him. Firstly a jerk redemption must show the character has some sort of redeeming trait. Bakugou had none in his first appearance. Him telling midoria to kill himself really made him my most hated character for the first 3 seasons. Him blowing up izukus notebook shouldve been his most cruel act. Thats jerkish but its not the worst you can do to a person and it can be easily redeemable. Telling someone to kill himself after doing that tho, was just villainous levels of acting. If bakugou had a good reason for being so sadistic towards izuku his behavior could be atleast understandable. But he really doesn’t .

I also hate the reason all might chose deku for his successor. Running into danger and making work alot more difficult for the heroes . Was a stupid decision and should not have impressed all might. An alternate way of this is having deku use his smarts to find a way to get the slug monster to release bakugou , he didnt have to beat the monster just either damage it or save bakugou. Thats way more impressive then running into danger like an idiot. We have plenty of “heroes bodies move on their own moments” to make up for the original scene to be changed. can you tell This is one of my fav manga/anime atm?

Another main issue is lack of character screentime. This is most apparent with 1b. 1b has a lot of cool characters like setsuna, kendo, monoma, rei, and the others. Theyre all so charmin and full of character. Most of em only get 3-6 minutes of screentime. They dont even do anythin major in the manga besides tetsu, kendo, and monoma who still barely do much of note. And even if they did thats 3 out of a full class to get any sort of use . This issue isnt just with 1b a lot of 1 a barely gets to do anythin. Unless ur shoto, baku, or midoryia you rarely get to do much. Sure other characters get short bursts of coolness and use but then after that theyre put into the background for far too long. Not even iida who was hyped up a good bit and had a lot of scenes and good character moments. After stain he rarely does anything besides from school stuff.

Another thing is ua is focused on way too much and way too little. If the ua stuff could focus on a rivalry between 1 a and 1b and more of the side characters. Id say it wasnt a waste of time mostly. But usually its to pad out the story . We do get some good stuff with the school saying theres nothing good bout the school scenes would be a lie. But theres too much fluff and filler to justify so much time spent on it. I mean whatre the biggest highlights of the series? Mostly when the plot is into gear like the villain encounter at ua. The attack on the student camp, all mights fight with all for one. The villain scenes. Stains mini arc. Shigaraki encounter at the mall, mirio fightin overhaul (manga version) , overhaul scenes, hawks betrayal of the villains. Dabi vs shoto. All these moments do not take part in the school and theyre praised to a T .

But what makes the fluff bearable are the characters when theyre allowrd to have screentime . I love mha and sad its comin to an end. But i cant deny its multitude of flaws .

Addicted to knowing what you think of him and will absolutely try to finesse you into admitting those things verbally to him

Honestly he's so intense with it, you probably get a good idea he's been reading your diary because of it

He's not exactly subtle

Will deny it vehemently tho. Even if you actually got your diary and recited what he said word for word from the page, he's not fessing up to it

It makes him happy to know that you love him, it's all he's ever wanted

Will probably cry if you write anything not showering him in praise. Even if it's just 'Brahms was a brat today and gave me a headache with his whining'

His love is very intense and he just wants that same level of commitment back

Was overjoyed to read it from your journal but once you say you love him to his face? He can die a happy man now

Jesse Cromeans:

He cares about you, he's not gonna snoop. He might kill people for a living but he knows how to respect his s/o

But accidents can happen and he happens to find your diary by mistake. He wouldn't realize that's what it was until it was too late, he had to finish what he'd read

You loved him? Wow that goes right to his heart. He knew you liked him obviously, hence why you lived with him, but he didn't realize just how much.

He was happy to discover that tho, it makes him reflect on your relationship and he decides he loves you too. More than he thought he did. More than he thought he would

Not the type to really be that shocked by it all, being with Jesse, you don't beat around the bush too much with how you feel about each other

What did surprise him was the darker fantasies you'd penned

Oh? You want him to do that to you? Interesting...

He's not exactly a vanilla man, but he didn't want to force his kinks onto you. He's thrilled to know he can indulge the both of you in shared fun now

Don't be surprised when he scoops you up and tosses you onto the sofa when he's all riled up after he gets back from a work trip

But don't worry, he's going to worship every mark he puts on your lovely skin

I'm kinda torn on this one. I think it depends where you are in the relationship. If it's still kinda early or friends only, he may snoop intentionally

Not our of malicious intent, I just don't think he knows healthy boundaries having such a dysfunctional "family"

Might sneak behind your back or may just snatch it right out of your hands mid-sentence cuz he's bored and likes to tease you every chance he can

He'd get a real kick out of seeing your face go red while you jump and try to take the book back

"why are you so embarrassed? Have you got some dirty secrets in here? Got love confessions to your prince charming?" He'd tease, not realizing he was pretty much hitting the nail on the head

Once he realized that's exactly what was in the book, it's his turn to go red

Oh sure hes had some feelings blossoming in his chest. Despite him pushing them away, he finds he can't stop from feeling some kind of way for you

Now he knows you actually like him. He's stunned into silence. A rare thing for this chatter box who loves to hear the sound of his own voice

He's just kinda frozen in place while his eyes flick between you and the words

Tries to cover up his own flustered emotions with more teasing

"So I'm your prince charming then huh? Buttercup you've got weird taste don't you?"

Deep down he's flattered and amazed but he doesn't know how to handle the situation. He hands you the book back and ruffles your hair with a chuckle, trying to ease your embarrassment by telling you your secret is safe with him

Makes a quick getaway to go deal with this information

He tries to keep things from being weird after the fact while he thinks things over

One evening he'll be feeling particularly soft and he'll bring it up with you. How the things you said really touched him and he feels the same way with you. Might give a little apology for swiping your diary like that too

He's finally figured out how he feels and he's getting out of his comfort zone to be open and vulnerable for once, but he's willing to do that for you

Lester Sinclair:

He's not the sole perpetrator of horror within Ambrose, but he's far from innocent

But, that being said, he's very sweet to you

He was surprised his brothers agreed to letting you live, but he's thankful for it. It's nice to have another person to talk to, and you're admittedly nicer than his brothers are (don't tell them he said that. He loves them but they do pick on him a bit)

He's another accidental case. He didn't mean to but he ended up reading some by mistake!

Didn't stop him from thumbing through more pages however

He couldn't help himself! He's not exactly a self conscious man, but he's aware of how people think of him. He's had plenty of encounters with rude tourists to know his image

You like him despite all that. He's a little stunned to say the least. Bo was always the attractive one between the three. But you liked him? Huh. Well he didn't expect that but he's giddy all the same.

He's gonna ponder it for a few days before finally steeling his nerves and confronting you

He'd be honest about the situation, but he knew you wouldn't be too upset when he explained it was an honest mistake (he's gonna downplay how long he read through it though)

But then he's gonna come forward and admit his own feelings for you too. He's fantasized about being with you but he didn't want to make you uncomfortable because you lived with him and his brothers now and if you rejected him... Well that would be a little weird. But he knew how you felt now and he only felt it was fair he tell you

Finally being able to be open with his love for you, it feels like Ambrose has brightened and he's sure his face will go numb from how much he's smiling all the time

Erik Destler:

I genuinely think it depends on how secretive you are with your diary

He'll happily get you a fancy one and get you pretty inks to write with

But when he asks what you're writing and you tell him it's private, he gets a little annoyed

He's a hypocrite. Mr. Secretive doesn't like secrets being kept from him

If you simply say it's a personal place to vent your thoughts and leave it at that, he might huff a tad but overall he lets it go

However, if you react by pulling the book to your chest if he gets near, or slamming it closed when he walks by, he's gonna get very suspicious. Another who doesn't really know what a healthy boundary is

He will give a half inconspicuous side eye the entire time you write, trying to act as if he's not staring you down when you look up

When you're gone or asleep, he'll rifle through your belongings until he finds the little book, eyes speeding over the words to find out what's so private you have to hide it from him

In tears when he finds you've been writing about him. And that you actually like him back. He's been hesitant to admit his affections in any way (tho really, you being alive and welcomed in his space is proof enough of that)

You'll come back into the room to catch him weeping as he kneels on the floor, your diary clenched tightly in his hands

"Is it true?" He gasps out before you can speak and you know exactly what he's talking about

You put aside your frustration with him for looking at your diary to explain, yes, you do really truly love him. Every word in the diary was the truth about how you feel for him

He'll probably cry harder and if you give him half an invitation to do so, he's clinging to you like his life depends on it, but he's so damn happy

All he's ever wanted was to be loved, to be accepted. You being that for him makes him feel happiness beyond what he ever felt he deserved or was capable of feeling

He's going to practically worship the ground you walk on from here on out

Still would be a good opportunity to explain healthy boundaries to him though

but this year, he had been not so subtly trying to hint that “i better not receive any chocolates this year when i’ve got a gf!”

he reaches school and plops into his seat.

especially since the blond was off limits, the grey-haired twin had a bigger following now.

atsumu couldn’t argue with that and popped a piece in.

it was very delicious. the chocolate practically melted on his tongue and was the perfect sweetness and was filled with a delicious ganache too.

“ah. really? is that what you think, tsumu?” you ask from the door where you had been watching the exchange take place.

How are the train twins dealing with suddenly having two kids, and that two of their partner Pokemon have gone missing?

i mean it was probably very odd and definitely stressful when they realized they'd be the ones to take care of them they've never had kids, dealt with the ones wanting to battle them and maybe the occasional youngin who'd gotten separated from a parent in a crowd but that's hardly the same as taking care of one full time yeah. like these 2 random girls who only go by a first name and dont have any sort of address they could be taken to,literally show up out of nowhere totally untraceable and they can't just leave em at the station. everyone there probably assumes they're the twins daughters anyway especially with how insistent the girls are about following them everywhere. probably just private about their personal lives is all. so they let them sleep on their couch so tula and lulu can have at least a temporary place to stay. Also yeah missing pokemon that's crazy. prior to tula n lulus appearance ingo n emmet are still going to work with one less pokemon each and theyre both sure that gavantula and chandelure are capable enough to handle themselves and will eventually make their way back to them though are still reasonably concerned. it's a few days passed when they let the girls stay with them and at that point they like alright this is a lot happening we'll see how to approach everything tomorrow but for now let's rest. come next morning lulu (who was not doing this before) is floating like a foot off the floor aimlessly waiting for someone to wake up and the twins have a lil oh moment of 'omg these are our missing pokemon' (this is how i think it'd happen but also part of me thinks tula would show up after lulu so idk maybe there'd be some differences)

as for parenting once they both already In It. emmets like very involved idk if they'd actually go school but emmet would be like the help at pta meetings and take the little league team out for ice cream type to me (not necessarily thrilled to be around *some* of the parents but hey do it for her) but despite that type of involvement it'd still be very surreal i guess? tula calls him dad straight up and every time she does it like shocks him to his core.in a good way tho! Worth mentioning tula's the more active/extroverted of the two she's kinda rowdy and can't be kept in the house all the time emmet has to match her energy (not particularly difficult). shes also just a tad defiant so she probably runs emmet a liiiil bit ragged but he's tryin and manages well i think.

ingo (again don't know if the girls would even need to go to school) would probably try homeschooling lulu. she's with him most hours of the day not quite as independent as tula so she'd have no desire to be out and about and that's fine. when the twins are at work lulus usually with them 9 times outta ten (tulas at home with a babysitter but will occasionally tag along as well). lulus very curious about what the brothers do as subway bosses and likes learning about the job (though shes already got something of a preexisting idea of what it is) and even when they arent on the subway battling doing more mundane things shes excited to see that too. ingos very encouraging of her interests and whenever she asks questions about the job he'll give her full but easy to understand explanations of what he does. he's a little awkward about having a kid cause again odd situation but he's not bad or anything.

so ive had this idea for an amphibia fangame for a lil while now-

(LONG post)

its based around the idea that sometime after anne got sent back to earth, she decides to sneak out one night to visit sasha and marcys bedrooms and poke through their stuff. this causes a bunch of memories to come back to anne through flashbacks while she tries to process everything thats happened and her feelings abt their friendship.

i was thinking itd be mostly a visual novel type thing. maybe with a few small choices, but the story would be mostly linear. thered be around 3 main story beats: a prologue bit w/ anne sneaking out of her house, marcys bedroom, and sashas bedroom. also one of the main mechanics would be looking at one of their bedrooms and clicking on random objects of importance and triggering a flashback sequence.

it came from the idea that anne will probably try to just shove all her emotions down and try to ignore her feelings abt true colors and everything that went down then. especially with what we saw in the sneak peek, anne will probably try to hide her emotions and bottle them up, which is obviously not healthy. so eventually shes gonna have to work through her emptional baggage and try to process everything.

i havent thought through EVERYTHING just yet, just some more major plot points and maybe one or two ideas for flashbacks. nothing too solid yet. but heres a bit more detailed runthrough of the plot

summary - prologue

so it would start off with anne at home. she and her mom are talking outside annes room. her moms concerned abt how annes been handling everything that happened in amphibia but anne keeps brushing everything off. her mom tries to get her to open up, but she keeps dismissing her and eventually shuts herself in her room. after taking a bit to cool off and think anne decides that shes gonna take the night to just ride off her emotions and stop repressing them for once. she also makes an impulsive decision to sneak out and check out marcy and sashas rooms.

anne goes to gather her stuff in her room, and just as shes about to climb out the window, sprig walks in to check on her. hes still rly concerned abt his big sis but he knows he cant stop her. he tries to go with anne, but she tells him she needs to do this on her own. so, sprig lets her go and tries to cover for her while shes gone.

so at this point i’ll probably give the player the choice of whose house to visit first. it doesnt rly impact the story or whatever, but i guess it might have a small emotional impact depending on whose house u choose to go to first??

(quick note: after this bit, there arent too many specific details for the plot and stuff like that. its largely just an overall idea of how the plot is gonna go. and even then, there isnt much to it. i didnt think that far ahead yet, which is why there isnt as much refinement yet. so far i just have general ideas for how annes gonna get to the bedrooms, with a couple of vague flashback ideas. just keep that in mind; this whole thing is still being thought over and planned as im typing this out)

summary - sasha

with sasha, annes still rly conflicted abt how she feels abt her. of course shes still rly hurt by being backstabbed by her twice and swordfighting her as many times. but as much as she hates sasha she cant bring herself to fully give up on sash. she hates her guts but deep down shes still willing to give sash another chance.

there may or may not be a small sequence where anne has to sneak into sashas house, but eventually she works her way into sashas room. im not entirely sure abt the details of sashas house n her family yet. im probably gonna wait for info from s3 until i solidify anything, but for now i do know that sashas family has a big house n theyre probably rich.

so anne goes into sashas room and its been left pretty much untouched ever since annes birthday, save for the few times someone came in to dust things off. again, dont rly have all the details for sashas room, but it kind of has a vibe of controlled chaos, with organized clutter and a bit of a touch of a rebellious teen girl. one detail i do want to have is a calendar opened up to the month the trio disappeared, with annes birthday circled and highlighted so much that its impossible to miss.

the calendar itself might include a flashback. im thinking of also having a varsity jacket and some old stuffed animal be different “artifacts” that trigger their own memories. there’ll be a bunch more, but those are the only ideas i have so far fjsbndnd

summary - marcy

ok so i want to be rly mean about marcys segment: this is going off the theory that marcys parents moved away while the trio was in amphibia.

anne doesnt know this yet tho, so shes in for quite a surprise when she turns onto marcys street to find a realtor sign on the front lawn. the clues are all there: an empty driveway, sign on the lawn, an overall empty vibe coming from the house. but it doesnt completely register at first. its not til anne actually comes up close does she notice the sign.

anne tries to deny it, and decides to prove to herself that “no marcys parents wouldnt do this. theyre not that cruel. im just gonna check marcys room myself.” the front doors locked, so she just goes over to marcys window and climbs in.

but its completely empty.

ok not totally empty, but a lot of marcys furniture and stuff is gone, except for a few stray toys and other “junk.” the home guys (idk what theyre called????) are still kind of in the process of cleaning everything out, so theres still some stuff left here and there around the house. but its still way too empty. and its yet another gut punch for anne.

anne searches the rest of the house a bit more, hoping that shes just hallucinating. but no, marcys parents are really gone. she tried to deny it before, but now she has more of an idea of how shitty the wu parents are. so anne decides to just mope around in marcys old room, checking out the stuff their parents left behind.

maybe she finds an old blanket marcy liked when he was rly young. or an old rubiks cube from marcys vast collection. a cnc figurine, some cards, a pride flag, and old diary? a couple of other old toys, an old report card or two, or maybe even some stray clothes. whatever anne finds, its all thats left of marcy, at least in LA.

it really doesnt leave anne in that much of a better emotional position. she already felt conflicted enough about what happened in true colors and what she found out abt marcy. but seeing even a small glimpse of what marcy was dealing with, it just makes her more confused. marcy was such a sweet kid! theres no way they couldve done anything wrong. yet here anne was, betrayed by both of her childhood friends.

only now is anne really taking the time to process the fact that marcy essentially kidnapped her and sasha with the calamity box. he didnt mean to do it, and theres no way they couldve known the box would actually work, but it doesnt completely excuse marcy. his actions still hurt anne and sash, and while they meant the best of intentions, it didnt rly come through that way.

and now marcy was dead. stabbed in the back by the newt king.

and now annes curled up in an empty bedroom, wrapped up in one of marcys old blankets, trying to wrap her head around her feelings about marcy while reminiscing in the past.

summary - extras/epilogue??

i kind of like the idea that anne ends up drifting off in which ever bedroom ended up being the second one she visited. she slowly comes back to consciousness, with her surroundings feeling somewhat familiar, only to wake up in horror bc “OH SHIT I FORGOT TO GO BACK HOME” im not completely sold on the idea tho bc it feels a bit abrupt and like too much of a tone shift?? idk it doesnt feel exactly right

but anyways, im also playing around with the idea of a small epilogue scene with the calamity trio hanging out in annes room, a good amount of time after amphibia ended. dont know what theyre doing in there, but theyre just chilling and feeling a bit nostalgic i guess.

but uh yeah thats pretty much what ive got for the overall idea. it doesnt feel too out of reach, but somethjng like this would definitely be ambitious. i could mayyyybe handle writing out the vn and drawing the character sprites, but i have no idea how to code a vn or draw detailed backgrounds, both of which would be pretty important to this fangame fjsndj. so i might consider having help with this.

THIS ISNT ANY SORT OF PROMISE OR WHATEVER. id rly love to follow through and make this fangame a thing, but im not making any guarantees. i have no idea if i’ll actually follow through, but i would definitely love to.

who knows. maybe in like a couple years this might actually become a thing. but for now i have no idea

- after ALWAYS bumping into each other and apologizing before making small talk, armin makes the first move
