Either the sparks in Bakugou's mouth are just a design choice to show how powerful his Cluster is coursing through his body, OR
And bear with me here
Some sort of mouth explosion attack later
Similar to how Dabi started breathing fire when he was battling Shouto

People have a limit. Something that pushes them over the edge, something that makes them snap.
This limit could be related to anything. A movie making you walk out of the theatre for terrible acting.
Rage quitting a game because of one fight that is impossible to beat for now real reason.
Having a long day at work, and then coming home to a screaming child it could be a limit.
For Midoriya Izuku his limit was reached with Bakugou Katsuki.
 -0-
Izuku grew up around his best friend Bakugou Katsuki. As little kids, they played together often. He called him Kacchan as a friendly little boy.
Kacchan was a little boy who was a little mean to people. Some little boys are like that. Usually, schools or parents would fix that. For Kacchan, they didn’t.
The school because he was a skilled kid. He learned to read early, was a bright kid and also got his Quirk a bit early. A very powerful Quirk enabling him to sweat a nitroglycerin-like compound that exploded. Not actual nitroglycerin, but close enough.
“A future hero.” the teachers would say. The school district was a low-ranking one and was desperate to get recognition.
Kacchan’s parents tried to correct him when they caught him being mean, but both worked long hours and struggled with trying to figure out when was too much. Both were victims of abuse from their own parents and worried over if it was too much or too little how they raised their son.
  Then there was Izuku.
The doctor he went to said he was Quirkless. And everyone knew the Quirkless were worthless. No one cared about Izuku compared to Kacchan. But it was okay because while Kacchan was mean he wasn’t cruel.
Then it all changed. Izuku didn’t know why. He didn’t know why offering his hand to Kacchan made him angry. He didn’t know why Kacchan yelled. He didn’t understand anything.
Izuku became the joke. The punching bag of Kacchan and soon the rest of the school.
  Freak. Worthless. Useless.
He felt small and tired and every day he dragged himself home feeling drained of energy. It was hard. It didn’t help that he had health issues. He couldn’t put on a decent weight. His skin often felt like it was burning up. Some days he couldn’t breathe he felt so heavy.
His mother worried. She was the only bright spot in his life. The only person to care. She fought hard for him.
When he was eight they tried to claim he was cheating on a test. He had to be, they argued.
She demanded they investigate properly, including calling in the investigators from the board who all had lie detector Quirks or Quirks that let them be able to tell if people cheated.
  Six kids got caught.
None of them were Izuku and the school was harshly reprimanded for blaming him.
They tried to mark down his grades at age nine.
Inko dragged the board into it again and this time now, they had someone to watch over their marking. An idea from the head of the board given she had a Quirkless daughter herself and knew the patterns from when her daughter was in school.
Izuku knew she would do anything for him.
“Bet your mom fucking cries herself to sleep knowing she has a worthless Deku as a son,” Kacchan sneered at Izuku when they were ten. “She probably hates you you freak.”
They were at the park. Izuku just wanted to play on the swings. Kacchan was there with his friends- or lackeys whichever he preferred. Kacchan was convinced Izuku had followed him, convinced that he was so important to Izuku that he would waste his time like that.
Izuku was ten. He knew his mother loved him and cared for him deep in his soul and he knew Kacchan was lying. He was saying mean things to hurt Izuku.
He brought his mother into it.
Izuku stared at Kacchan… at Bakugou and felt something snap.
  Everyone has a limit.
Izuku’s was his mother. And Bakugou crossed it.
  It changed everything.
Izuku stared at Bakugou for a long time, enough that the other boy began feeling uncomfortable before turning and walking away. The single act was enough to startle the other boy, as well as the other two who were with him.
Bakugou watched Izuku go with wide eyes before scowling.
“Useless freak,” he grunted. He turned and stopped, suddenly feeling dizzy for a second before shaking his head. Probably didn’t drink enough water again, he figured.
Izuku walked home in a daze, feeling sick for some reason. He shivered as he tried to grasp the handle of his apartment door, laying his to hot head on the cold door and breathing in.
Why… why did he feel like that? He was fine. Angry at Bakugou, sure but he was fine earlier… you don’t get sick that fast. It wasn’t possible.
He managed to get the door open, stumbling into the apartment, his legs too heavy and his arms like lead as he tried to move.
“Izuku…” he heard his mother speak but he couldn’t respond, his tongue too heavy and a sudden icy cold sweeping through his body as his knees buckled.”IZUKU!”
 -0-
Inko dropped to her knees, a hand going to her son’s neck and checking his pulse.
  Slow but steady. Good.
  Oh, thank God.
She grabbed her phone from her pocket and dialled for an ambulance. She kept the phone to her ear as she tried to focus on five things she could see.
The couch. The book she had dropped in her scramble to get to Izuku. The ugly carpet she kept meaning to replace. The stupid wedding photo she kept meaning to throw out now that she caught Hizashi actually cheating thanks to his mistress finding out he was married. Izuku’s red shoes.
She could not panic. She could not panic.
Do not Panic! She hissed mentally as the phone connected.
  “What’s your emergency?”
“My son collapsed. He was at the park and came home, just suddenly dropped when he came in.” Inko said. “His pulse is steady.”
“Alright,” the operator said soothingly. “And this can’t be his Quirk?”
“Izuku’s Quirkless. He’s had problems with kids using theirs on him before as a bullying tactic so it might be someone else’s but I don’t think so.” Inko reported. After she had gone after the fourth kid’s family they had stopped. She knew they kept doing so, she wasn’t stupid but Izuku wouldn’t tell her and the school played dumb. At least they stopped trying to charge her for new uniforms when she had also threatened them with demanding a release of all their videotapes, with the help of a friend at the law firm she worked at who had a Quirk that let him get ANYTHING deleted from a system.
“Shit,” she heard over the phone and sighed in relief.
Quirkless people were discriminated against. However, it was often in subtle ways most people didn’t think about. Microaggressions, her boss had told her when she came to him and asked for help understanding the laws to protect her son. Outright harm was sadly common as well, but luckily it was improper to do so. You could be an asshole but hurting them? Very improper and Japanese people hated being improper. So Izuku dealt mostly with microaggressions from adults. Children not so much.
Inko had gotten good at picking up people who would be cruel to him. And from the sounds of it, the operator was not one of them.
Giving the address, she stayed on the line while sitting next to her son.
The ambulance came quickly and she opened the door to wave them in. Three of them though only two came up the steps to her apartment. Her building didn’t have an elevator sadly, the building over two hundred years old before the time of Quirks.
They came into her apartment quickly and checked him over themselves, one of them frowning.
“... are you sure your son is Quirkless?” Asked a blue-haired female paramedic. Inko blinked.
“Yes. He was diagnosed at four.”
  “How?” The other woman asked.
“The doctor said his toe joint-“ both paramedics interrupted her with groans.
“Ben!” The woman yelled, going to stick her head outside the open door to yell at their driver. “We got a possible unknown Quirk!” She told the man, while Inko stared in confusion before the other paramedic, a brunette man, spoke up.
“The toe joint theory is false. Got disproven about… five years back? Guess they didn’t call you in for a re-evaluation if your kid never showed signs.” Inko stared at him before she felt a very familiar feeling in her gut.
Anger. Raw hot anger curled its way up inside of her like a snake, filling her stomach with rage.
  “Oh.” She hissed. “I see.”
“Well, you’re terrifying.” The man muttered as his partner came back in.
“My Quirk is Medical Check. I can tell what injuries people have. Your son is suffering extreme Quirk exhaustion. I’m talking probably one of the worst cases I’ve seen.” The woman told her. “He needs fluids, heat packs and the hospital. Now.”
Inko followed them as they took her son, pausing to lock her door as she ran after them to get into the ambulance. As she drove with them she began texting her law firm.
She had some things to do. Mostly plan on how to best terrify the doctor's office and potentially sue the doctor who misdiagnosed her son and never called back when the test was proven false. If it was possible anyway.
When they got to the hospital she put her phone away and ran after the cot when it was transferred to nurses, only being stopped by a nurse who needed her to fill out forms. She did so while her son was being checked over.
The forms were simple, though do once she ended up writing unknown in the Quirk box, including the words of the paramedic.
She then got directed to a sterile waiting room filled with magazines, other people and posters of heroes smiling and saying random messages that were supposedly comforting or something.
She waited quietly, eyes on the clock until a nurse came in.
“Mrs. Midoriya?” The nurse called and she stood, walking over to her. “Right this way. Your son was stabilized.” Inko followed the nurse who led her to a room where a doctor was looking over a clipboard, her son in a bed with multiple blankets, an IV line and what she thought were heat packs around him. It was a pediatric room, with bright walls and superheroes on them.
She thought he’d like it when he woke up.
“Ah, Mrs. Midoriya. I’m Doctor Aizawa.” The man offered his hand and Inko shook it. “Your son is… stable.”
  “But not okay?” She asked.
“Okay is… harder to describe.” Said the doctor. He frowned, scratching his cheek. He’s handsome, Inko thought. Her worry for her son made her latch on to stupid details such as the man in front of her was handsome. Dark hair, dark eyes. Nice and tall. “Your son is suffering extreme Quirk exhaustion. In fact from his records we have on file it looks like he’s suffered it for years. It just happened to have fully kicked in now.” The doctor motioned to the bed. “His body temperature is extremely low and he shows signs of malnutrition but from what I understand you have been trying to help with that. Various vitamins and diets?”
“Yes. Are you saying he’s been suffering it for years but no one knew?!?” Inko demanded, heart in her throat and anger still in her gut.
“Quirk exhaustion can appear as chronic fatigue if it never reaches a serious point.” The doctor replied, looking at his clipboard again. “If the person white the right Quirk never checks it can be missed if the Quirk itself is passive. Like your son’s appears to be.”
“Do we know what it is?” Inko demanded, turning to look back at her son. He looked so small in the bed, swaddled up in blankets and heat packs. He shivered and her hands clenched. How was he cold, she wondered. How was he cold under so much?
“Sadly no. My Quirk enables me to stop the usage of Quirks on myself, so I won’t be able to tell.” The doctor said. Inko frowned, glancing at him and waiting for an explanation. “Part of my Quirk is that this way I am able to tell what a person’s Quirk is when they use it on me. I don’t know the full details but I can tell what it does in the basic terms.”
“And that’s why you’re a doctor?” Inko asked. He looked surprised and she blushed. “Izuku loves Quirks. He’ll probably ask you a million questions when he wakes up and ask to write it all down in a notebook. He loves analyzing.”
“Ah,” chuckled Dr. Aizawa. “Possible his Quirk deals with other Quirks then, that’s a common side effect. Becoming interested in other Quirks though usually it’s just wanting to know what they do. That was how it was for me and my cousin.”
  “Cousin?” Inko asked.
“Ah yes. My cousin is a pro-hero. His Quirk enables him to stop other people’s Quirks when they’re working. He can erase all but mutation types. I was going to ask permission to contact him. I often do so in cases like this. As long as it’s not mutation he can tell what your son’s Quirk main purpose is.”
  “Main purpose?”
“Some Quirks have multipurpose Quirks. For example, Tanaka- the paramedic you met- Medical Check enables her to be able to tell what someone’s medical concern is at the moment, but it also enables her to retain vast amounts of information on medical history and enables her to know what the exact tool needed for a patient is. It’s why she’s such a good paramedic.” Dr. Aizawa informed her. “We can figure out the main purpose and any side effects will then come later.”
“Thank you, please call him,” Inko replied and the doctor left, leaving Inko to wait by her son’s side, hoping he’d wake up.
He didn’t by the time a tall dark-haired man in a black jumpsuit stumbled in, a visitor badge on a lanyard around his neck along with a long scarf. Dr. Aizawa followed him, looking annoyed.
“Hello,” The man in the jumpsuit said in exhaustion. “I’m Aizawa Shouta, the Pro-Hero Eraserhead.”
“Eraserhead?” Inko asked. “My son knows you.”
“... what?” The man looked startled. Inko chuckled, unable to help it.
“My son. He loves heroes, wants to be one. He found out about you and just became obsessed. Said you’re a little like him, fighting with no Quirk.” The man blinked and then coughed, rubbing the back of his head.
“That’s nice.” He muttered. Dr. Aizawa snickered from behind him and his cousin shot him a nasty glare. “I’m going to use my Quirk to disable your son’s. I should have the basic idea of what it is then.” Inko nodded and watched as the man’s eyes went red and his hair floated up along with his scarf. When his eyes went to her son, she gasped, feeling a sudden dizziness. She stumbled slightly and grabbed the table she was sitting by.
“Mrs. Midoriya!” Dr. Aizawa cried out, going to check on her. She blinked and let him check her over as the other Aizawa dropped his Quirk and turned to them. “Was this her son’s Quirk?” Dr. Aizawa asked.
“Yes,” Eraserhead replied. “Her son has a bond type Quirk, meaning he forms bonds with people and I think boosts their Quirk.”
“Oh, is it drawing too much energy from him?” The doctor asked in worry. “I’ll contact a specialist in bonding Quirks.”
“Why are you spending so much time on this?” Inko asked the doctor. “I mean I’m happy, don’t get me wrong but… Izuku is just a little boy who had an unknown Quirk.”
“Bonding Quirks are dangerous,” Eraserhead was the one to reply, facing her. “Bonding Quirks that affect others? More so. There was a villain who had one over fifty years ago. By bonding with people he could heal them by passing the wounds onto others. He killed twenty heroes and over a hundred civilians.”
“There’s also the chance his bonding with others could be accidental and could have a villain bond to him and increase his Quirk,” Dr. Aizawa told her. “We need to be careful.” Inko nodded her understanding. “Shouta, can you stay on-site for a while? I’ll have to report this and in case a villain is tipped off…”
“I will.” Eraserhead promised before yawning. “I’ll sleep in the cot if that’s okay?” He asked Inko. “I had a case that had me up for the last few days.” Inko waved him to the spare cot in the room normally meant for parents and he collapsed into it with a groan.
Dr. Aizawa left to go and make his calls. Inko herself decided to go and get a drink from a machine, leaving the room quietly.
Walking down the hospital halls, she found her way to a vending machine where she put in some money to get a water bottle. Waiting for it, she heard a familiar voice from behind her. She turned to see a familiar blonde woman scowling at a blonde boy.
Bakugou Mitsuki and her son, Bakugou Katsuki.
Inko and Mitsuki used to go to the same high school, and were friends of a sort. Enough that when their kids were younger and they had learned they lived in the same areas, they started hanging out again. But Mitsuki was a model, and her husband a fairly popular fashion designer. Often they were out and about with work, meaning that Inko and Mitsuki were restricted to monthly meet-ups.
Inko didn’t mind. Mitsuki was a nice enough woman but she was a lot to handle.
“Calm down brat, the doctors said you were fine!” Mitsuki told her son.
“What do they know? My explosion was way less powerful than before!”
Inko suddenly knew. She stood there and watched the two and just knew. She knew deep in her gut what had happened.
As if in a trance, she walked up to them. Mitsuki saw her first, and a look of concern crossed her face. After all, she was in the pediatric part of the hospital.
“Inko! Is Izu-chan okay?” the woman asked. Inko didn’t answer, instead staring down Katsuki.
“Bakugou Katsuki.” she began in a very clear tone, controlling her anger. “What did you say to my son?” He froze, eyes wide before they darted to the side. Mitsuki began scowling.
“Brat! Didn’t I fucking tell you to leave Izu-chan the fuck alone! What the hell are you thinking, still being mean to your friend?!”
“They’re not friends,” Inko spoke up, still staring at him. “Izuku is a terrible liar but I can tell when someone explodes his belongings. I just never had proof.”
Mitsuki paled before her eyes flashed and cheeks reddened. She might have managed to become more affluent and gain a fair amount of money from modelling and fashion, but she grew up like Inko, terrified and constantly trying to make ends meet. Secretaries like Inko, even ones working for a law firm, did not make enough to cover replacing clothes all the time.
“Bakugou Katsuki,” Mitsuki snarled through her teeth and Katuski actually paled himself, looking at her. “We will have a talk later, young man.” she continued through her teeth.
The look her son carried told Inko that he knew the anger Mitsuki felt then wasn’t the fireworks or the cherry bomb temper his mother usually had. Loud screaming, and snapping, but then she was done. Got the anger out.
Her anger then was the colder anger she carried, born from years of abuse and terror she had felt as a kid.
“What did you say?” Inko asked him again.
“... Told him you didn’t love him and he was a worthless Deku,” Katsuki admitted. Inko closed her eyes as Mitsuki jerked away from her son, a look of pure anger crossing her face before her fists clenched.
“Bakugou Katsuki, me and your father WILL be talking about this,” Mitsuki grounded out, the words sounding as if it took everything she had not to scream them. “And expect a very lengthy punishment.” The shocked look Katsuki flashed her made Inko’s heart cold.
“My son came home from the park and collapsed,” Inko said. “Turns out the doctor used a test on him that was outdated five years back, but we were never called in for a revaluation. He came and collapsed due to Quirk exhaustion.”
“Son of a bitch.” Mitsuki whispered, her eyes widening. Inko nodded, still looking at the young boy.
Katsuki looked shocked before a look of pure anger crossed his face. His hands clenched and Inko wanted to shake him. How dare he be angry her son has a Quirk. How dare he look like that.
She didn’t though. Instead, she kept speaking.
“It's a bonding Quirk. When he bonds with someone, their Quirk increases, we think.” Her eyes flashed to Mitsuki who made a choked noise at what she said before Inko continued to speak, “A man who could erase Quirks temporarily came in and erased his. I felt dizzy and confused for a second, weaker.”
“... No,” Katsuki said, it clicking for him too. “No! THAT FUCKING FREAK HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY STRENGTH! WITH MY QUIRK!” he screamed at Inko. A few nurses in the halls turned to look their way and a security guard who had been down the hall turned around. Inko didn’t move.
“If I’m right and he snapped the bond, then you owe him a lot. And you ruined it.” Inko told him before turning around. Katsuki screamed again but his mother moved him away from Inko, grabbing a nurse to speak and keeping a grip on her son as Inko walked away.
Was it cruel to say that to a ten-year-old? Inko wondered as she walked back to her son’s room.
  Possibly.
  But she didn’t regret it.

Izuku blinked his eyes open, squinting at the bright light from the ceiling. He closed his eyes again, groaning as his brain felt like it was full of sludge, his mind struggling to understand what was going on. He was cold for some reason, but he could feel blankets on himself.
“Izuku!” his mother cried out, running to him from the doorway into his room. “You’re okay?”
“Mom?” Izuku slurred. He shivered, feeling cold, so cold. “Mom where am I?” Izuku asked.
“The hospital honey,” Inko told him, reaching up to run a hand over his head. “You collapsed after coming home from the park.”
Izuku hummed and then shivered again, wrapping the blankets around him as if he was a butterfly in a cocoon.
  “I’m cold,” he whined.
“I know baby,” Inko said. She tucked the blankets in more as a doctor he didn’t recognize came in, along with a guy in a black jumpsuit holding a coffee mug.
“Ah, he is awake.” the doctor said. He bowed his head and introduced himself as Doctor Aizawa. “And this is my cousin Eraserhead.”
Izuku blinked at the doctor’s word, trying to understand. His mother looked at him with worry while the doctor walked over to check his temperature and check his vitals.
“... Eraserhead? THe hero?” Izuku asked, blinking rapidly. “I… I saw your fight with Angel Dust.” Eraserhead frowned.
“That fight?” he shook his head. “How did you find the stream?”
“I… I got hit by a classmate’s Quirk. Makes you stay up for days. Couldn’t sleep and found it.” Izuku admitted. The said classmate had actually hit him on accident and felt awful about it. Had been really nice until her family moved. He missed her, she had been one of the few who wasn’t scared off by K… Bakugou. He shivered again and wrapped the blanket tighter around him.
“Ah.” Eraserhead nodded. He fell silent after that, the doctor instead taking over.
“Vitals are fine. Core temperature is still low but slowly rising. If your theory is right Mrs. Midoriya, then it is possible part of the bond drew heat from the other boy and losing it dropped his own temperature.” The doctor said, causing Izuku to frown. He looked at the doctor, his head slowly feeling less foggy.
  “Huh?”
“Izuku… honey. You have a Quirk.”
  He wanted to throw up.
 -0-
  A Quirk.
He had a Quirk all this time. Every single damn year since he was born, he’d had a Quirk.
And it was thanks to some stupid doctor who used an outdated test and the doctor’s office who never called he was tormented for years.
Izuku stayed under his blankets, not wanting to leave as Dr. Aizawa left, saying he had spoken to the specialist and they would come soon.
His mother left as well, heading out to speak with her boss and to settle things with the school.
“It sucks.” A voice from Eraserhead startled Izuku who had forgotten he was in the room, laying on the cot. “It sucks this happened to you. If you want to punch someone or scream I’m here.”
“... if people knew earlier everyone would want to be my friend. They will now.” Izuku voiced. “Like K… Bakugou. Everyone wants to be his friend even though he’s mean cause they think they’ll be cool with him.”
“Mhmm.” Aizawa hummed. “Me and Minato, your doctor, were in a foster home when I went to UA. When I got into the hero course they suddenly bragged about it, wanted to be around me and be my friend.” He chuckled a little. “I told them no. In unkind terms. Mostly swear words.”
Izuku snickered at that before falling silent. The two laid in the room together silently for a little while longer.
“...I don’t want to bond with Bakugou again. But if mom was right and he-”
“No,” Eraserhead said. He sat up from the cot he had been laying on to go and sit beside Izuku, staring at him. “You don’t owe him a damn thing. If you broke the bond, then it was over something you felt went too far. From what I can tell he’s been bullying you. You do not owe him friendship or respect or anything.” The older man told him, holding his eyes. “No one owes anyone anything.”
“But he wants to be a hero. And heroes need to be strong.” Izuku said. Eraserhead shook his head at that.
“Then he needed this wake-up call. Bullies don’t last long in hero courses if we can help it. It’s better he learns that his actions have consequences now than later when he’s older and in a hero course but gets removed from said course.” Eraserhead reached out to lay a hand on Izuku’s head. “You do not owe him anything kid. Don’t let him make you think you do.”
Izuku laid in bed, staring at the ceiling while Eraserhead went back to bed. He felt a sudden deep thought.
  Eraserhead was right.
He didn’t owe Bakugou a single thing. He didn’t owe him his friendship, his time or his Quirk.
He was Izuku. He was going to be a hero.
  And he owed him nothing.

This spiralled off a Tumblr ask and I couldn't resist it. It was to much fun. I hope you guys are enjoying this! Also, yes. Tags are right, we get some Bakugou redemption later on though that will take a while. He's a stubborn brat.
The Aizawa/Inko pairing is the only one I have planned and originally it wasn't even planned. Just me kinda playing with a thought and oops, down the rabbit hole.
Little bit on Aizawa and his cousin: Both are related and were kept together due to this. Their parents were killed when Minato was about ten, and Aizawa was about seven. When Aizawa got into the hero course, Minato was just graduating high school. He got custody of Aizawa and the two left the foster home. Minato is the only medical professional OTHER then Recovery Girl that Aizawa trusts to treat him.
Minato will not play a huge role other then as a doctor and Shinsou's dad but you will get references to the man.

Hi, my name is Ana and I’m an overthinker who’s found her way down a rabbit hole of googling nitroglycerin (NG). I think you know why.
Okay, so apart from the fact that what Bakugou secretes is nitroglycerin-like I have many questions about his quirk.
First thing is that I’m making the assumption that the first thing that makes it nitroglycerine-like is that Bakugou’s producing it organically and it’s not being chemically created. Something in his body is able to transform the food he’s ingesting into the nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon molecules he needs to make NG. That’s function one of his quirk. Other than that, I’m saying everything that I’m saying assuming that the quirk functions like NG.
Which brings me to two main questions. The first is what else is happening to his body in order to make the NG explode? And second is does his body endure the other effects of having NG in it?
Let’s start with the first. Because I ordered them that way. The obvious answer is that his palms must heat up the a temperature that could ignite the NG. But apparently, that’s not entirely how NG works? NG is something known as a contact explosive, a highly reactive one at that, which reacts to shock and/or friction. Heat could definitely provide that, but since liquid NG is very unstable, it seems that probably just a clap of his hands or rubbing them together could probably create an explosion, albeit it wouldn’t really be facing the right direction.
So heat would be the best for direction. Additionally, we never see him having to do anything in order to activate the explosions, so it stands to reason that something is happening internally, not externally. Especially since Bakugou never seems to create explosions by accident (which is a gosh darn miracle, judging by how insanely reactive and unstable NG actually is). So then a facet of his quirk would have to be warming his hands at will. Which begs the question, is he able to warm his hands like that separate from exploding things? It would only be possible if his hands weren’t sweaty but that’s a pretty simple caveat. My guess is yes. But, like with sweat, I imagine this is something that would be limited to his palms. And, btw it explodes at a balmy 218 °C (424 °F). But it seems as though it can explode at everyday environmental temperatures if it heats rapidly. So, my guess is just that Bakugou has to be able to heat it quickly from his regular internal body temperature to something a bit higher, probably not all the way to the explosion temperature.
Sidenote, apparently NG doesn’t create smoke. So there would only be smoke if the explosions caused something else to catch on fire. But Bakugou’s quirk does seem to create smoke so that’s just more argument for the case that it’s not actually NG.
NG isn’t perfect, though. I mean, aside from the fact that Bakugou could never reasonably high five someone or rub his hands together without causing a pretty substantial explosion--and the fact that he’s going to be leaving NG on anything he touches, meaning anything could explode anytime--it also has a very high freezing point. It freezes at 13 °C (55 °F). That’s just an average chilly day! And Bakugou’s going to have frozen NG all over his hands unless he keeps them warm. But, you know, stably warm. Otherwise...boom boom.
And look, I don’t remember what canon says, but some sources describe him as being able to secrete this particular liquid at will. That would solve a lot of our problems. Except that that doesn’t really make sense with what we see in canon? He’s able to use his quirk instantaneously, for one thing, and, for another, Deku explicitly says that the more Bakugou sweats, the stronger he gets. Which means that our boy’s sweaty palms must match the body’s natural sweat mechanisms at least somewhat. So, idk, I still feel like if he’s not washing his hands 24/7 we’re in trouble.
Furthermore, NG degrades very quickly when it’s not frozen. This makes it more unstable. And while I’d like to imagine that something in Bakugou’s NG causes it to degrade into something harmless, and that’s how he functions in everyday life with his quirk, we know that’s not the case, since he’s able to store it in his gauntlets (also, him running around with the stuff splashing in the gauntlets would cause it to explode too so yeah). So he’s just always dripping the dynamite.
And there’s just zero explanation for how Bakugou’s able to withstand these explosions. We know from Deku that the explosions cause quite a kickback, and we can assume that’s why Bakugou’s arms/shoulders are so bulky (yum) but that’s to say nothing about the fact that NG has caused many disfigurements and deaths just to those experimenting with it. Not even talking about the people killed in warfare or with dynamite. I mean, we assume that people’s bodies are largely given natural resistance to their quirks (but not entirely, e.g. Endeavor) but still.
Onto the second thing. NG is actually used as a medication for vascodialation, which is just the dialation of blood vessels. Being around NG (or being around it and then suffering withdrawal) seems to have a number of side effects, but since Bakugou is around it 24/7, he probably didn’t suffer any of these aside from just as his quirk was manifesting. But I wonder if it still serves its medical purpose. Because, look, Bakugou’s young. I assume he’s not suffering from any kind of heart failure and that he doesn’t need his blood vessels dialated. In fact, my guess is that that would cause a major drop in his blood pressure. Except for the fact that this is his situation all the time, so his body must have compensated for that as a kid. But the only way I can imagine that his body increased his blood pressure was to create a lot more blood. I’m not sure if this would have an consequences if he was wounded and lost blood--if it would be more dangerous for him than others--but my guess is that he would lose blood quicker. But I’m literally just guessing here.
But that’s completely moot if the NG isn’t in his bloodstream. Since the sweat and the explosions are only on the palms, it’s possible that whatever is creating the NG is only in the palms as well, meaning he wouldn’t experience any of the effects of taking the drug orally. Unless he ingested it by accident, in which case, if it’s not a normal occurrence, that would possibly give him side effects. The other side effects of just being around NG probably still wouldn’t bother him, though, so that’s good news for our blasty boy.
Then there’s the whole heating of his hands, if that’s a thing, but if Shouto can light his whole left side on fire without so much as burning his hair, I’ll say Bakugou can do whatever he wants with his big ol’ hot potato hands.
So, basically, Bakugou’s quirk makes no sense. Even if we take out the fact that it should have blasted him to bits a long time ago, it just doesn’t make sense that he can go around with traces of NG on him all the time. I mean, if you hit a drop of that with a hammer, it explodes. If you jumped on a spot that Bakugou sweat on, you’re blast to kingdom come. And then there’s the fact that he got this quirk from his parents (glycerin from his mom, nitric acid from his dad. Romantic.) But neither of his parents have a heating ability. So we still have a lot of question marks around how he’s able to control his explosions at will, both around how he got the means to create heat, if that’s indeed what he does, and how he keeps from exploding every time he smacks a mosquito off his arm.
I’ll be trying to think up a headcanon altering his nitroglycerin-like substance into something that would be functional in everyday life and in battle, but right now I’ve got nothing. This quirk is just wack.
But hey, at least the fandom is right about the burnt sugar taste. If it is NG, that is.
Which, you know, it must not be.

Flames and Explosions
Ch. 2
Commission for Asrasdarling
By: Cutegirlmayra
With skies filled with the arching smoke from the plane's engines streaming against the blue of the ever-free Americas, Bakugo and Jenna brace as the plane glides towards the runway. As it's nose dips up to land like a swan to water, Bakugo prepares himself and holds Jenna's waist down, lowering him and Jenna against the g-force. "Darn bumping landings," He gritted his teeth while feeling each bump as the plane skid up and down in its descent, finally leaning straight and rolling powerfully against the pavement of the airport. The plane's slick exterior screeched a little as Bakugo embraced Jenna and slid down it's side with his hand sliding against the aluminum. Jenna held him with one arm around his neck and the other gripping his shoulder, careful to position her feet right as they dropped. With a few blasts from his hands, the explosions helped to lessen the fall. To stay somewhat conspicuous, they darted behind a baggage carrier. The vehicle trains were all linked together and provided the only real cover out in the open runway.
"I can't believe you're here." Jenna cupped his face, still stunned he risked even illegal activity to follow her to America. "Are you sure I won't be arrested for smuggling a bomb?"
Bakugo tried to put on a brave face with a smirk, but she could tell by how much he was sweating that he seemed uncomfortable by that statement. "Yeah… I'm familiar with America's policies…" He peeked out from the cover of the luggage transports, seeing a swarm of security around every bend, or employees scanning the area and hard at work. Bakugo tsk'd, "This doesn't look so good… I didn't exactly bring my passport."
Jenna smiled and looked to the security, willing to play on his anxieties as she leaned her cheek dangerously close to his. "I could wave my arms and be like, hey! Over here! This hero saved my life! I jumped without thinking, now I'm so thankful! What a handsome hero!"
Bakugo, immediately imagining her overly acting this exact scenario out, clamped his hands over her mouth and pulled her back towards him, "Are you an idiot!? Without my hero's license, we're screwed!"
He pinned himself up against the baggage carriers with a hard knock against their steel. Jenna blinked a moment before lightly tugging his hands which were overlapping on her mouth, "You believed me?" She just slightly loosened them enough to turn innocently and look back up at him. "And who doesn't have a hero's license? That's lame."
Anger rose in the pulsing veins on his neck and the side of his forehead, but he was distracted by the situation enough to look back over his shoulder to see more workers walking by on the other side. He would have to control his loud outbursts for now...
Bakugo leaned his head down to her ear, deciding it best to whisper sneakily as he saw a playful smile cross her lips. "Of course I believe you… you're the bratty girl who'd stick her face into a bomb and live to tell the tale." He seemed to slur his words, as though still upset she would risk her own death just to defeat him.
"But that's why you like me." She purred back, threatening to flirt with him as she went to lick his face but he pulled away.
"Urk-!" His eyebrow twitched at her boldness before seeing a man start to mount the small car that pulled the other trains along. He probably wanted to scold her, but now wouldn't be very ideal timing...
"A-as for your first plan, you'll never be able to convince them… Who in their right mind would believe you tried to jump? Besides, my English isn't the best… They'll be suspicious of our story right from the start." He was thinking this through, and his hard expression mixed with his worry made Jenna fall more into the crook of his neck, still holding his hands close to her.
She had never really swooned like this before… in fact, she had crushes, but not as dominantly persistent as this one. However, she knew why, too. No man had attempted such feats of loyalty and love like Bakugo had. He wasn't even trying to seduce her, but everything he was doing was leading to that result.
Jenna continued to admire his face as he strategized, though she was completely capable of figuring out her own escape plan for the two of them, she loved to see him in such deep thought. The thought was for her and him to be together, ultimately, right? How much more romantic could you get..?
'Running from the law, though? I mean,… if we must~' she sighed silently to herself with that thought, thinking it terribly romantic.
"Okay, I'll help." She stepped out of his arms to get a good look at the predicament they were in. The man was getting ready to start up the train of luggage, and Bakugo's body was full of the explosive sweat that would certainly trigger the alarms of any paranoid American airport. So far, everything was looking like a disadvantage that would certainly have them captured and interrogated in no time. "America's not gonna be so kind to a living bomb…" she placed her hand on his cheek again, making him flinch back a moment in surprise before she began to wipe off the shiny droplets and clean him up a bit. Rubbing the nitroglycerin between her fingers, she continued, "We're gonna have to be sneaky." She spoke quickly, "Because I'm technically harboring an illegal immigrant." She blushed and put his hands back over her mouth, muttering, "And a handsome one at that!" before maneuvering herself to look up at the luggage caravan. "But I got an idea. Trust me once again with our lives, Bakugo, dear?"
Bakugo opened his mouth to respond but was distracted by an engine blaring up. "Grr…Oh no." he looked over to see the driver starting to propel the front of the piled passenger suitcases forward like a snake's head slithering along the airport runway. It wouldn't be long before their cover was blown…
"I wouldn't trust you to kill me, that's all I'll say on that!" he shouted a whisper and held a fist up in front of himself, sticking his head towards her as though not liking to rely so heavily on her. "What's this bright plan, anyway? Not that I ever need one!"
Making a sly face, Jenna blinked seductively, "No time to talk now, just follow my lead~"
In his typical annoyance, Bakugo grimaced. "You-!" he whispered but she forcefully took his foot.
"Hoist me up." She instructed.
He was a bit off balanced, surprised as she had grabbed his foot so quickly. But nonetheless, he glared and immediately helped her up over the large container to topple into the suitcases.
"W-wha-oop!" She stumbled before Bakugo also came crashing into the luggage, digging them further inside the uncomfortably stuffy and dirty pile of bags.
"This is your bright idea?!" He hollered quietly as she continued to whack him with continual shushes.
"Keep it down, Blastboy, or my brilliant scheme goes up in flames! Something you're quite skilled at…" She teased, but he just kept getting more and more upset, fidgeting in his spot, wanting to fight her but needing to keep hidden in the gap they created between the suitcases.
"Remember that you came here for me, yeah?" She rose an eyebrow up to him then, but he turned his face away from her, not wanting to reveal any true emotion.
"Don't get the wrong idea, pipsqueak! Thought I'd take a bit of a vacation!" he spat out, but she knew better than to take his words at face value.
'D'aw, look at him.' She smiled up towards him, 'Doesn't want to come off weak to his rival and lover~ I can't wait to beat out his newfound self-control.' She snickered to herself.
"What's so funny?" His face turned back to her, threatening and brutish as usual.
She threw a hand over his mouth once more, "You're too loud." and continued to swerve her body deeper into the stash. Once situated, she sighed and moved herself over his chest, releasing her hand. "You can't keep quiet for more than ten seconds, can you?"
"Tsk! Typical American…" he twitched in his annoyance, but his insults were a lot lighter than before, and she could tell. He maneuvered himself below her so she had something comfortable to lay on instead of the jamming edges of the suitcases all around them. As he endured the pain, she noticed his efforts and lightly kissed his forehead.
"So, not just a ruffian, but a gentleman too." She cooed.
"That's enough…" He blushed faintly but seemed to smile at her giggles. "You're so darn annoying." They butted heads lightly against the other as Jenna nudged her nose to him and began to cuddle him a little bit again.
The whole flight she had been smiling, keeping him relatively smiley too. The two had happily lounged back as the winds briskly pushed their hair back and clouds dewed up their clothes and left them freezing. However, Bakugo was a natural campfire it seemed and kept them both warm with his firecracker palms making small bursts of heat. She had joked that they should have brought marshmallows, but openly enjoyed cuddling up closer to his body. Feeling the intensity of his sparks again... she would have missed it so much! More than anything. He held her closer and nearer to himself and the light explosions on his hands during the high turbulence… His head ducking down to her own just to secure her even more during the outdoor flight.
She didn't know when they'd reach the station but for now, there they were, the skies above them and the stuffy gap between luggage forcing them close again. It wasn't as ideal as the plane, but the cold, oxygen-deprived altitude wasn't too great either.
"Bakugo…" She whispered out, but as she did so she jolted at his hand flinging itself right up by her cheek to stop a suitcase from ramming into her face.
She gawked a moment that she had let herself slip into memory and her feelings without first accessing her surroundings. 'My training is waning because of this man!' she scolded herself, and got just enough off of him to help push the suitcases that were dangerously wobbling to and fro above and beside them. It was like a game of Jenga, and sadly, the zigzagging movement of the caravan was seriously making the luggage close to toppling over on top of them. She had to move aside from their moment of enjoying each other's company again to realize the danger if they were seriously bombarded with heavy luggage crushing them both below.
At least they were together, no matter the uncomfortable circumstances.
She turned herself around, being positioned so her back was on his chest, using her feet to push against the walls of protruding suitcases and make sure that some of the wobbling could be stabilized a bit longer. She then glared up at him, and he looked down at her with a raised eyebrow, also having his arms up to stop the avalanche of weighted bags. "What?" he growled out.
She didn't want to admit that she had momentarily faltered in her senses, knowing he would backlash with mocking insults at her. So, instead, she pushed his face up with her elbow, letting a suitcase come closer to both of them from the front. "I don't want to fight anymore." She lied, enjoying the banter very much but pouting at her silly distraction. "You really will be the death of me…" She mumbled.
"Huh?!" He didn't seem to be able to hear her with her elbow forcing his chin up. He flinched under her touch so she pushed against the suitcase, shoving it back in its place in front of them, "Never… err… mind!" she strained with all her strength, and was able to keep the luggage secure.
The ride had many bumps and jabs of edges littered throughout the venture, causing them to shift positions and wait for it all to be over shortly. His leg moved up over her at one point, slamming his foot hurriedly up to stop a heavy-duty suitcase from crashing down on her. "Geez, how much do these snotty travelers need to over-stuff their baggage, eh!?" he roared out in his frustrations, which only made Jenna lean up and kiss him under his chin, hoping to remind him to stay silent. "Grr… I didn't ask for your praise…" He was acting so much like a tough guy, but she could feel and hear his racing heartbeat as she leaned her ear against his chest. Careful this time to not close her eyes and get too out of it, she continued to use her expert eyes to pinpoint weak spots in the luggage and make sure her arms and legs were holding a foundation that wouldn't crumble so easily…
Now… she felt more so crushed by his protective stands than the shifting luggage, feeling him lean up slightly to strain against holding up the overly-sized suitcase. She felt his body bob with each muscle forcing the suitcase back up, but it was a monster of a feat.
"This is a really tight squeeze." She teased, wishing to help him but unable to move any of her limps which were on trigger points that—if moved—would cause the luggage to topple over.
He just glared at her. "Shut up, stupid!"
"Make me, you cute jerk!"
"…Wait, you're nervous again, aren't you?" He looked down to see she was being lowered and pinned by him trying to keep the suitcase up… but before she could respond with the implied intimate position they were in, she felt the carrier finally stop and a ripple-effect drive both her and Bakugo forward as Bakugo's back was shoved with suitcases.
Now it really did look like an innuendo.
She blushed, amazed he caught on to the subtle joke and turned away. Something scratched at her leg and she pulled it up, "Ow." But when she did so, more luggage started to topple down.
"Get yourself off my butt!" she scolded, "Or I can't get my legs under me enough to push out of this luggage hole!"
Bakugo was about to but as he moved, cursed and threw his back over the falling suitcases.
"Bakugo!" Jenna felt him slam a few times into her, simply from the fall impact, but he amazingly pushed up, even with all that weight on him.
"Quiet!... Grrr…Erk…" The weight hadn't crushed him? "Why is it you're always getting me into awkward situations?!"
'Just how tough is Blastboy?' Jenna marveled before watching him take the piled weight and force it just inches up above himself and where she laid.
The suitcases smelled of dirt and exotic scents and being so close to Bakugo, also of the nitroglycerin in his sweat that seemed to drop on her too if she didn't do something.
He was breathing hard... using everything in him to keep her safe... Or was she just claustrophobic?
"Let me help..!" She turned and pushed off too, helping him as it sounded like the driver was heading out.
Determined to aid and not get spotted, she shoved some of the suitcases to the side and kicked to give him more room. She sighed when at last, the gap reappeared to show they were now in a building, and finally, a door shut and a conveyor belt began to turn on.
She panted a moment, getting her bearings before looking to Bakugo again. She was immediately lost for breath when she saw his mouth grip some of her hair and move it out of her face.
"You okay?" He asked, moving his head to the side to spit on the suitcases and get the rest of her hair out of his mouth.
Her eyes shimmered a moment at his kind gesture, not used to such consideration, especially from him.
"I-I'm peachy…" She cleared her throat, "A-anyway, America can get a little touchy about things. Best to avoid suspicions and lay low for a while…" She joked once again, and to avoid him seeing how touched she was by his gesture, decided to play on nerves and removed her arms from the baggage. Throwing it up, she turned to bring his body against her again.
'That worked for a disguise.' She slyly remarked in her mind as she saw the reddened anger on his cheeks. 'I can't let him think he can get the better of me. Not even for one, small, insignificant second!' she knew she only thought that because of how significant each little action could be for the two of them.
It was a collection of small moments that made this big confession, right? Wait... had they even really, properly confessed yet!?
He twitched above her, still having some of the pain of weight on his shoulders as he tried to protect her from the encompassing mass of suitcases.
With a sneaky grin, she pecked his neck and tickled his chest. "You can move now, you know~ I heard the man leave and doors slam shut." she played, knowing he had done all this to protect her and remain stealthy.
"Tsk! If I get arrested, I'm blaming you!" Bakugo glared down at her, but she placed both her hands along his arms, happy-go-lucky as she was, and slid them up to his hands.
"As long as we're together, I don't care about the consequences… now blast'em."
The suitcases he was trying to hold up suddenly began to burn under his touch, singing their hides. With amazing strength, he kept tossing and punching suitcases off of them before getting too annoyed with the slow pace of it all…
"Ahhh!" An explosion shot the suitcases off of them, sending them flying as he dragged her out of the mess and jumped down.
"Those poor people's stuff…" Jenna felt a bit of pity but it was overshadowed by her amusement at his rage. She felt mischievous, but smuggling her foreign boyfriend into America was turning out to be a fun kind of stressful.
Now his face was fuming with rage, "I'll kill you…" He repeated over and over again. "I'll kill you and the skin that remains..!" his muscles seemed to almost pulse in his fury.
"Shh, shh… Just hold me." She beamed, turning her head to be right up by his ear.
He would have hollered in her ear if it weren't for the fact that they were trying to remain silent.
She quickly massaged the tension and aches in her body though, being pressed against square bags is not her idea of a luxury transportation. She moved then to his shoulder and massaged there too, hoping to relax him somewhat. "We've had a long flight…" She complained, pretending to be sleepy and rubbed her head even further against his chest, also trying to incite him and cancel out the relaxation. She was just his punk in that way,... "You can rant about my nerves later. For now, honestly, sweetie, can't we just get along for five minutes? I can't wait to show you around…" There was a double-meaning in that statement that he didn't pick up on, but seemed to tolerate the massage and head-rubbings before shoving her face away.
"Alright, that's enough. Let's just get out of here." Bakugo held her face out with a death glare, then kicked a suitcase that had fallen on the ground, still steaming from his explosion. She looked to see the action, then pretended to overly swoon at his angry-boy raging as she moved out of his grasp.
His eyebrow twitched at her acting and he let out a threatening growl which made her respond in an alluring purr back, but he just turned his head to ignore her.
They looked for any security but it seemed like the workers would naturally hoist the luggage onto a conveyor belt… So they probably had some time before someone came back into the large garage-like space.
"Hmm… We should be covert about this." Jenna brought up again, seeing the suitcases everywhere. "Fighting shouldn't be an option."
"It's sometimes always the solution." Bakugo seemed charged...
Sensing the tension and seriousness in the air around them now that they were actually within the airport, Jenna decided that pumping him up anymore would only result in a failed mission. "My luggage should already be inside…" she looked for doors that were opposite to the ones she heard closing from before… Hoping to come up with a plan that would successfully get Bakugo out of the airport.
They hid a moment again behind the line of luggage automatically being slipped onto the conveyor belt and popped their heads out from the machine operating it.
The workers would be here soon... either to observe the machines doing their job or manually help organize the bags to go down the chute right.
Bakugo and Jenna waited a moment longer… But no one was coming.
"That blast should have been heard… Not bad for your first break-in, Bakugo." She ruffled his hair as he tried to bite her hand.
"Quit that, Brat, or else!" Bakugo barked. In her usual stealth, Jenna spotted a way out and stopped Bakugo from following murderously behind her, whipping out her arm as he grabbed it before it could hit him. "This is no time for games… We can fight to the death after-!" He blasted more explosions from his hand, thinking she wanted a brawl as that was the least of her worries right now.
"I know you're obsessed with the idea of me striking the finishing blow without remorse, sweetie, but right now I need to think of how to get us out of here." She examined the lock with her other hand, letting him 'hold' the other hand for comforting support. She chuckled to herself at that afterthought.
He let it go with a jerk and whispered a shout right into the side of her face, having his warm breath fluster her a second, but he was clearly getting dramatic. "Quit calling me sweetie! Since when have I been 'dear' or 'darling'!?"
"It's locked…" she rolled her eyes, and then worriedly looked around at the security cameras. Pulling out an arrow, she aimed expertly before pulling the bow that compressed itself out spontaneously, "Also, I never called you darling." She shot brilliantly in a deadeye hit, causing the camera to short-circuit with sparks of electricity at the impact. It was all in a matter of seconds, the speed causing Bakugo to stand still a moment to watch it play out.
"Tsk, I'm no villain." He hissed out, seeing her pull out another arrow, getting her glove out to light it.
As she worked, she frowned at his complaining, "Then you burn the lock." She didn't even look at him as she took the arrow's tip and rubbed it against his skin, trying to get more explosive power to it with his sweat.
He flicked it away and 'tsk'd again.
Sensing she was getting annoyed, he put a hand to her bow and looked her in the eye. "Oui… Only I'm allowed to get frustrated here…"
She recognized his tone shift and stared a moment… amazed by his fiery eyes suddenly turning serious with passion filling them to the brim.
"And if I let you make an explosion, then the whole of America will be on my tail." He stated this so calmly, his demeanor really had changed on a dime.
She was so tempted to kiss him in the heat of the moment, but then watched him place his hand on the lock, burning its metal through with his bursts before blasting the door open.
She gave him a smile, seeing how he hated to be patient.
"It was either help me or get targeted as an illegal terrorist." She kicked the door open it's full width, "You're already risking a lot by being here with me. You gonna keep fightin' to stay by my side or just whine all day and make me wonder why you're really here?"
He was silent a moment but rushed through the door with her, "Alright… fine. Now what?"
'So, maybe he was here for more than a rematch?' That piqued her interest, and she desperately wanted to move on to the other exciting parts of this vacation.
She batted her eyes in a ditsy way as though silently telling him she loved him again.
"Dodge people, blend in." she hurried through the halls, making a tactical plan as fast as she could before seeing some clothes hanging from a locker room.
She smirked, "I've always loved a man in uniform." She grabbed them and tossed them to him. "Here!"
The attire was clearly too baggy for Bakugo, but he didn't complain, just continuing to 'tsk' as he examined the dorky worker's outfit. He shoved his grenade designed wrist accessories to make it look like he had a big, bulky stomach and removed the face mask.
Jenna laughed, but he shouted at her, "QUIET! You try wearing this and making it look good!" she gave him a playful wink, as though suggesting anything she wore would be too good for his eyes.
Once up in the public terminal, the two parted with a plan to meet up after Jenna got her own luggage. They would call an old friend of hers and head to Jenna's grandparent's house, so Bakugo began to weave his way through the airport and look as unsuspicious as possible.
"She left me. What was she thinking!?" He muttered under his breath, looking around the airport, but trying to be discreet. Which was hard… especially after something small and short bumped into him. "HEYYY!?" Bakugo turned around, almost like a lion being disturbed from his jungle's sleep.
He immediately lost his terrifying expression when he noticed a child drop his hamburger and look up to him crying. People started to stare… and one after the other, stopped to watch the scene.
Bakugo, instinctively, reached and grabbed the food before everything inside it toppled to the ground. That seemed to impress the sudden audience, so he carefully used his pinkie finger to balance a loose strand of tomato slice from sliding off.
Arrogantly, Bakugo shuffled the upper and lower buns of the hamburger to have the American meal put back together again in a sloppy, proportional stack of ingredients again with disgruntled grumbles of annoyance. "Here." He spoke in Japanese, "Take it." He outstretched his jumbled offering back to the kid and glared, menacingly.
However noble Bakugo's intentions may have been to save the kid's hamburger, his resting expression made the child fear he wanted to end his life.
He flinched as Bakugo once again tried to hand him back his hamburger, "What's the matter with you, kid, huh? Oh… right." he tilted his head before remembering his lessons on dealing with kids. He tsked, not really in the mood to play sucker to someone who still sucks on candy, but he bent down anyway. Looking like a blonde ape in his stance, he tried to take on a softer expression, presenting the kid with his hamburger in a kinder way. "Be more careful next time, kid. Watch where you're going… or something." He spoke in Japanese but the child threw his arms up, as though thinking he needed to block from what appeared to be a deadly swing when equipped with Bakugo's natural hostile aura… but after a moment, he peeked to see the gentle gesture of the older boy before him.
This time, Bakguo's eyes were softer and looked more tired than anything else.
"Don't you understand? Take it back." Bakugo spoke lighter too, his words almost like an encouraging big brother. The child suddenly smiled, and delicately took his food back, waiting for a second to see if Bakugo was going to do anything else, and then happily began chewing on it.
"Heh." Returning the smile for a split second before going back to his usual frown, Bakugo got back up and put his hands in the unfamiliar pockets that were large enough to keep his mask and gloves in. 'Darn kids… Where's that darn woman at, anyway?'
At the corner of his eye, Bakugo could see an adult walking up quickly to address the child from behind him, and he sidestepped to let the scolding happen. The child's arm was taken and he was pulled back to wherever the adult had come from. Though there was a language barrier, Bakugo assumed it was the kid's mother and straightened up the workman's collar around the shirt, trying to remain hidden. He quickly made his way back into dodging the crowd and staying unnoticed. "That should keep the kid out of trouble." He spoke quietly out loud to himself and continued to try and blend in the best he could, taking in the 'situational awareness' skills he had learned in UA, and also a bit from his spars with Jenna too. Ever since he learned about her 'nervous flirting' tick, he'd been careful to not cause too much of a scene…
Well, the point is he tried.
The black uniform was apparently enough to get staff to just nod and smile to him, but he kept walking on without making eye contact, thinking of getting out of there… before his mind raced back to Jenna.
"Santa!" She joked before she had left him to walk through the airport on his own. "Won't you make my wish come true?"
"That's the evening star!" he shouted back, and she just kept laughing and trying to touch his wrist grenades under the jumper suit's stomach.
It was easy for him to hyper-focus and then preoccupy his thoughts on something else. Eating lunch with her, hollering insults back and forth, watching her get ready to throw out an exploding arrow before the UA security team arrived. They would get into a lot of trouble… but how could she even dare leave UA!?
'And without telling me!?'
He gritted his teeth as the airline's badge glistened metallically in the light, and he was worried it could have been a co-pilot's uniform. Cursing, he stopped a moment to secretly look at it from the bottom of his sight. The badge was backwards, but he wondered if he'd ever get his Hero name to shine that brightly… Chasing after some girl wasn't the way he'd do it… was it?
He took it off and placed it in the other pocket, 'How is Arrow so good at this..? Not causing a ruckus and remaining unseen?' He glanced around to notice that people were watching him, and he ducked his head down deeper into his shirt's collar, puffing it up and stomping off again.
He thought back to Jenna's first battle with him and realized her speed was probably a factor along with her quick, witty planning. He didn't have her unmatched footwork and handiness with a bow and arrow... He was too aggressive, but she was just the same when getting what she wanted.
'What do I want from all this?' he found his feet pausing a moment, stopping in a crowd of walking passengers as his mood turned suddenly very alone and melancholy. Though he was surrounded by people,… he felt they were all like shadows. Shadows pretending to be people, but to him, were just shapes and figures that he didn't know.
There was only one person he felt he knew now, one he didn't want to let go of.
A rival unmatched, though he didn't really feel he needed a partner...
He cursed under his breath, biting on the silent swear as he wanted to prove himself, and stop acting like a coward too afraid to let something good go.
'I'll show her…I swear, when I see her again…' he was biting down hard on his jaw, shaking his head low in agitation, 'I'll show her I can do whatever the heck I want without anyone trying to stop me! Even if she tries to run away-! I'll kill her with how heroic I am!' He gripped his hand into a tight fist in his pocket before seeing yet another obstacle in front of him.
The security was now all over the place, and in his over-sized getup, even the badge wouldn't really protect him much. Especially with his broken English… He was a goner for sure if he didn't figure out a way to sneak past them. He bent his chin down, a little sweat dripping down the side of his cheek in his anxiety. 'They'll really think I'm some kind of villain walking around with another man's clothes on, huh? What do I do..?'
Minutes turned to split-seconds of decision making. He just stared at his goal, a flash of what he thought was a well-lit silhouette that formed details and colors as he pictured Jenna beyond the doors of the airport's exit…
The only thing he really knew… was he was getting to that light. One way, or another!
In his imagination, her hair flipped like strands of glistening rays of water over her shoulder. She turned to look back at him, and smiled as starlit balls shone in bubbles of light colors around her. In that figment of fantasy, he threw himself to skid down the escalator's sides, scaring some people standing idly by on them and threw his arms out to his sides. Little explosions sparked in his palms as he was going to do anything to get to that figurative finish line. He'd already come so far..!
"Screw it, I'll just fight my way through like I always do!" When he speedily got to the end of the escalator's moving arm-rails, he had built enough momentum to launch himself into the air, "ORE WA-!" he was about to announce that he was going to kill them all, though maybe just trip them up in their step before…
…sssswwwIIISSSHHH-Tik!
"Ah..!" Bakugo was hit by a dulled arrow that was large enough to look like a javelin.
He was pushed off his mark, and his eyes turned to see who dared to distract him.
He only saw a blur in his arched descent...
The trajectory of his mid-flight attack was suddenly thrown off course, and he tumbled a little to the ground in a roll before propping himself back up again. "Who shot that!?" he cried out in Japanese, "I'll kill yo-Mmph! Mmmppphhh!" he strained against a girl who's chest bumped against his head as she pulled the gag over his mouth.
"Shhhush~ Let Jenna dear handle this." A strange voice spoke to him, causing him to nervously quake a moment in the surprise of being caught.
She wore a pink jacket with studs, shining silver as though mounted to a chapel's steeple but was from that image. Her hair was blonde and long, dangling down almost like wrapping tentacles that had a mind of their own, and her boots were long up her tall legs as she pinned him against her secured his mouth shut. There also seemed to be a ribbon on the jacket that had one side looser than the other... almost like a pretty punk look.
However, the capture brought back some unpleasant memories of being kidnapped by the League of Villains, but that memory quickly subsided as his heart raced at seeing the image of Arrow, the hero with the perfect aim... Her image finally cleared after the blur from the motion of falling beforehand.
"There we go. Shot through the heart, you could say, boys." Jenna, wearing her hero costume, was crouched down and squatting on the ground. She then shifted her weight and put her knee down as she posed for sexy pictures by the cheering airport crowd. "Seems we've caught him at last!" she seemed to be playing a part, winking to the crowd before turning her face away from the people and gagging. 'I hate playing the charismatic idiot!' she mentally vomited before moving over to Bakugo. "My sidekick and I have taken the thief into custody!" She threw a hat onto Bakugo's head with New York logos on it, then began to pull him through the wall of security, "No need to thank me or she! Us and I! We'll be on our way now!" she was even mimicking a strong voice as she cheerily tried to escape the on-lookers and headed into her friend's car. Although her actions were humiliating to Bakugo, once in the car, she untied his bonds and smothered him with further embarrassment, "Geez, Blastboy, you can't do one thing right without blowing up like a firecracker, can you?"
"He's certainly dynamite, just like in your letters." The woman in pink, skimpy attire moved her front-view mirror to seductively hold her stare on the two. Her goggles shone in the airport's lights as she turned her head around, holding up a peace sign with a further, flirtatious wink. "Ya-ho! I'm Jenna's support friend, Miu! I invented her cute little pose there! Oh, but I also make equipment and weaponry too. Much like her mechanical, extendable bow there." She pointed to her handiwork.
Jenna adjusted herself in her hero's attire, "She also helped me make this skin-tight hero's suit. Like it?"
He didn't say anything, so Jenna muttered out of the side of her mouth, "I've always liked it." He seemed so fuming with rage that if he opened his mouth, dragon's fire may spring out of it.
"Oh my! That's so cute! You've really gotten yourself a shy Japanese boy!" Miu stated with as much energetic spunk as her spluttering engine in her car.
"Hehe! Quit it, Miu!" Jenna patted her leather chair's back to get her to stop gawking and then nudged Bakugo a moment, "You okay, champ?"
"Never in a million begs and pleadings crowned with glittering diamonds!" She flopped a hand back and sat upright against the wheel again, getting ready to make a flee from the surrounding crowd. "Besides, I'm much more into blood red diamonds~"
The security obviously wanted to check their licenses and figure out what's going on, but her car seemed to have a device that made it blast up into the air and almost 'jump' to the next lane of traffic, perfectly taking them into the highway.
"Weeee! Isn't it something? Propelled tires that can launch the car like a frog's hop! Several feet into the air! It's genius, and it's lush in design!" she felt the fabric of the seat next to her before looking back at her friend. "Café time! You promised you would if I picked you up!"
"That was before I accidentally found myself smuggling a boyfriend!" Jenna, hoping to calm him down so he wouldn't blow up her friend's custom car, placed her hand on his knee where his hand was.
A spike of heated lightning shot through Bakugo, his teeth animated to shark's rigged edges, and she could tell he was holding in his livid shouts due to the gag on his mouth.
"You pinkie-sweared, and no taksie-backsies!" Miu stuck out her tongue and then turned to a creepy expression towards Bakguo, "Hehehe... Should we keep him gagged a little longer? For the fun of it..?" She lowered her eyelids seductively but Jenna only rolled her eyes.
"Let's not play that game, just yet." Jenna patted Bakugo's hand, "The second he cools off, I will."
"Aww, but he's your boyfriend, right?~ You should be able to handle him." Miu puckered her lips, hinting at Jenna seducing him into cooperating.
Bakugo felt a hint of his pride flare up at not being able to tackle and fight his way through the security like he wanted too, but nothing—Absolutely nothing in his life—compared to being called this whacky woman's significant other.
After a second thought, Jenna decided to let him speak his mind and took the gag off. 'Better now then later...' she groaned to herself as a hurricane exploded from his mouth and rocked the car with his booming temper tantrum.
Some of his words were barely understandable, but Miu just blinked her eyes, having some grasp of the fact that he was speaking american curse words.
"What'd you call me?!" He growled towards her, "I may not speak English, but I know what you said just then!"
"Oh my, he really is a time bomb!" Miu looked innocently back at Jenna through the upper-mirror of the car, but Jenna just waved it off.
"You haven't seen fire yet, and besides, how could you understand, Bakugo? Suddenly taking courses in the language of love?" Jenna bounced her eyebrows as though challenging him to even try and deny it. "Besides, what else would you be to me?"
He paused a second, thinking of the word that meant close friends in Japanese, but finding that it may not work now for the situation…
"America sure is different…" he looked shyly behind him, folding his arms to avoid the conversation. He seemed closed off then, maybe have blown off his steam and suffering from jet lag.
"Ohh? He does know I speak Japanese, right?~" Her friend giggled in a high-pitched range that even left Bakugo flinching. A moment ago, she had a rather alluring voice as she whispered in his ear, but now he was just finding her company a little over-the-top girly.
"Huh?!" His cry could crack the cement, "I'LL KILL YOU!"
"You can only kill me, Bakugo." Jenna pecked his cheek and red sprung up on his face. He turned in his seat and raised his sparking hands towards her.
"That's right, brat! Let's duke this out, I'm fired up, right now!" he hollered down at her as one foot stomped onto his seat.
She blushed and looked away, ducking her head slightly, "B-Bakugo... not in front of company..." She knew he didn't mean it that way, but she was just so tempted...
'Ah, what the heck.' She jumped into his arms and began giving him little nibble kisses that caused him to fall back and flail with explosions above her back.
Miu just placed a hand over her mouth, watching in quiet amusement at this new development.
"You puunkkk!"
"But how did I look!?" Jenna smiled up at him, looking sweetly to him. "When you saw my pose? Miu told me it could knock a man dead."
Miu swung a thumbs up to the backseat.
Bakugo wouldn't admit it, but nothing could compare to how incredibly clever Jenna was when she tried to make a face with the crowd… Especially in her hero's attire… It left him awestruck at first, but that couldn't replace the beauty and fondness he had already created with her.
He looked away, "You looked... like you could murder." he blushed.
She gasped, "Miss Lord Explosion Murder!? Already, Bakugo!? Wow, you move fast!" she joked, but got back in her seat and covered her face. 'Ahhh! He really thought I looked good!? I can't believe my ears! Did he just admit that!?'
"Whaatt?!" He blasted more smoke out the windows, and Miu just laughed at the cute chaos happening behind her.
The whole trip the two argued as Miu would jam her two cents into the mixture, causing even more of an uproar from them both. But to Jenna, having an absolute blast with the two, couldn't have thought of a better welcome home party. After blowing off enough steam, Bakugo just angrily stared out the window before his annoyed expression changed to twinkling amazement at the towering skyscrapers, much larger than Japan's, and the hotdog stands, parks, and people crossing the street with manholes left untouched and decorated in intricate designs.
They had at last entered the city, with it's life blazing about in hurried commotion and fast-paced entertainment.
He was so caught up in it that he barely picked up on the fact that Jenna was now addressing him, "It would have been impossible to save you if we were heading in to find you and not out." She admitted under her breath, having the car pull over at an exit that her friend had mentioned previously was their favorite café location.
"Hmph." He didn't want to talk about what felt like a complete smack to his ego. He wasn't exactly happy about being shown up and stomped out, but at least he wasn't arrested… "Shut up, dummy. I let you sneak me out."
"O-ho?" She raised a suspicious eyebrow at that. "Or were you too taken aback by my 'performance'?"
He flung his head back to her, an anger mark pulsing from his head before seeing her sigh and step out of the now parked vehicle.
He watched as her foot caught on the car and she began to trip, "Heeeyyy!" he called out, moving quickly across the car like a speeding bullet and taking her hand, catching her as he pulled her back in and against him again. He stepped fully outside of the car, still holding her close as he slammed the door shut, "You're such a hassle." He glared with a scowl. "Nothing but trouble, peh!"
However… Jenna could see the real intent. He couldn't fool her. The way his eyes shook as though worried about her… His haste to grab her before she tumbled into the on-going traffic beside the cafe's street corner. She knew he cared, and it was going to be a fun challenge to make him admit it.
"You'd still be hopeless without me, Airhead." He looked away, shy once again as a faint stream of pink seemed to wave a flag of admitting her deductions were accurate against him.
She blushed and looked at his stern hand gripping her own, and then back up at his face, still trying to mask his cute embarrassment. "…You've saved me yet again, Bakugo." She smiled lightly, then dabbed his face with what looked like some handkerchiefs all piled together to get the sweat off his brow. "But there will be times when you can't stop me from saving you, either." She winked.
"I told you! Those were dipped in neutralizing chemical compounds for his sweat! Don't use it unless you're sure he can do without his fire hands!" Miu warned, stepping out and fixing her chest and hair, pulling out some makeup and then tossing it and laughing, as though stating she didn't need it. "What's a man without a fire somewhere  in his skin…"
"Heh, knock if off, you." Jenna lightly scolded as she moved out of Bakugo's grip a second, seeing him blow up with insults as they made their way into the café. He stomped with a wide stance and lowered his body as though a gorilla preparing for war again. 'A cute blonde gorilla,' Jenna thought, being amused by his demeanor. 'Maybe he's feeling more comfortable in America now? Who knows... Bakugo always was himself, no matter where we'd be. Be it UA or New York city.' She smiled an attractive fondness towards the odd, loud boy and then saw a few people staring at them.
"Mind your own business." Jenna just faced forward with a look to back off, then immediately changed to sheer swooning at Bakugo's hollering cries and exaggerated swings of his arms. His eyes narrowed to aggressive displays of hurt pride, but all she could see was a flustered Japanese school boy as Miu kept making dirty comments his way about them.
Once in the café, he settled down and sighed, slumping into his chair. "I didn't even pack for this…" he grumbled as he looked straight ahead and out the window.
Another individual looked up from their newspaper, and Bakugo gave him a murdering eye that made the poor sap cower back under it again.
"You two sure are a good match." Miu giggled into her hand, "I wonder how you light it?" Her eye turned a little crazy before reverting back to a 'cute girl's persona. "I wouldn't mind finding out~"
They were directly by the windows of the café, but this unique one let you open the screens and let the air in. "Pfft, Bakugo! You're kinda crazy like that. Miu, could you please not taunt my Blastboy?" Jenna was swirling her chocolate-flavored treat with her straw, gently drinking it and melting into it's bitter-sweetness. "You should really try some, it's a delicacy!" she licked the lingering chocolate from her lips with her fingers, directing her comment to Bakugo as she noticed he had stolen a glance or two at her, pretending not to really care all that much.
She rolled her eyes,"He's stubborn. A typical wanna-be bad boy, but secretly a passionate lover who longs to be my hero." She teased, seeing his hands flicker with sparks he tried to conceal.
'How did she know that!?' His eyes shifted to white arrows, like daggers in his fury. 'Am I that transparent!? Tsk, this woman!'
"Oh, look! Sparks!" Her friend laughed, then looked back to her, "If he starts the fire alarm-! I mean, I'm already we-"
Jenna plugged her mouth, "There's a child behind you."
"There's children to the side and in front of me too." She gestured to the two of them and Jenna lightly hit her head. "Ohw! Fine~ But I can't stop myself. I mean, I'm just so curious about you two! Have you even kissed yet?" She suddenly dipped her head to Jenna and leaned up, showing what looked to be an alluring predator position over her but Jenna just karate chopped her shoulder and forced her back in her seat. Her seductive eyes turned with the pain, showing a slight tear drop on the ends of one of her eyes.
"Another time, can I borrow some makeup?" Jenna closed her eyes, unfazed by her friend's suggestive actions, and began to fiddle with her hair.
"What for?" Bakugo glared, leering his eye towards her, "You never cared at training."
"Well, I know my grandparents are expecting me to look my best, regardless of how 'heroic' I may appear." She had changed in the restroom while Bakugo was forced to wait with Miu while she ordered them drinks. He angrily folded his arms and leaned backwards against the counter as she ordered, shifting his eyes every now and then as though an angry puppy waiting for their master to get home. When she finally did come out, he tsk'd and looked away from her, as though ignoring her for ditching him.
However, He had learned she loved chocolate and was surprised by how naturally her hair matched its rich color.
"I have enough respect for them that this will be like presenting myself as a gift, out of courtesy for all they did for me." She then blinked as though remembering something, "You know, you're in the Big Apple and aren't even enjoying it! That's rather funny to me, you're not even gawking!" she gestured to the window, leaning over the table to do so as he raised an eyebrow and then looked outside.
So,… she hadn't seen him admiring it?
He then gave her a light smile, "It's kinda hard to notice… when you're naturally more appealing than bricks and stones."
"Oooohh~ My quirk may be metal manipulation… but he sure can manipulate his words~" Miu suddenly fiddled with some studs on her pink outfit, which really did make her look like she could have just been a trashy sidekick or a model posing on her makeshift, high-jumping car. "You sure he isn't single?"
"I'll murder you if you even think about it." Jenna's words made Bakugo's heart thump a second and nervously, he fidgeted and put his hands in his pocket, not wanting her to see that had affected him.
"Ah! Rights before bites, girl!" She seemed to be stating something like friends before boys, but she also seemed to want to stake a claim on him as well… "He silently praises you and you don't even jump the counter to boldly makeout with him? Honey, have I taught you nothing?!" She cupped her face in her hands, almost like a disappointed older sister, but Jenna rolled her eyes and tapped her nose.
"Not in front of your perverted eyes, Miu. May get you too excited."
Bakugo grew more agitated, he wanted to see a reaction from her but Miu kept getting in the way, 'Not like I want attention from her or anything though!' he looked out the window, grinding his teeth together at having a third wheel along. Did he really them to bond? Moreover, it seemed what he had hoped for coming over the plane with her wasn't turning out the way he wanted it to be. 'N-Not that I planned that far ahead...' he sweat dropped, calming down a moment as his feelings confused him. 'Just wanted to make her turn into her flustered, wildly annoying self again...' He pouted and then shouted at some pigeons that were landing by the window. "Oui! This isn't your terf anymore!" he cried out. "Buzz off, birdbrains!"
He felt overshadowed by this friend and immediately began to have his veins pop out and his muscles tense up. "I'm having some of that chocolate!" he leaned over and scooped up some of her untouched food.
The girls gasped a moment as Miu laughed, "At least he likes to share his food..~" she playfully bantered back to their old conversation. She then sighed, "I'm still waiting for someone to fill in my last name." she cooed a tease, but Jenna just patted her head like a child.
The three walk around the city a bit, even giving Bakugo his first hotdog, laughing when he calls American food messy but seems to really enjoy the experience. Jenna attempts to wipe ketchup off his face but instead of him fighting against her, he just yells and blasts his hands out, burning the paper, checkerboard hotdog container in them. Miu laughs at him but thinks its rather charming he didn't resist her touch. As they continue to sight-see, they are completely oblivious to the men hiding in the shadows…
As the sky wanes and turns in its rotation with the sun, the men's faces are revealed, showing one with huge claw marks across his face. There's a hollow white eye that glistens like a marble, as he smirks when seeing Bakugo reflected through it. It began to glow symbols, as if surfing more pictures for him as one would do through the worldwide web. "That's the boy we saw at the airport on T.V." he sneered, and put a toothpick in his mouth, his hands in his pockets. "He's valuable, I knew it… That's the boy those League of Villains were after, yeah?"
Another man, with bright blonde hair and a pink bandanna, liquidized and spun a now silvery, materialized morning star weapon around as though it was a toy. "So? You want us to take him back to Japan, Captain? That could be fun… and his friends?"
"Not now." The Captain flicked his toothpick to the other side and extended his hand to stop him. "First, let's wait till they least expect it…"
They seemed to freeze as shadows rolled over them once more while the sun's rotation shifted quickly again, showing that time had passed towards the nightfall and they still remained unknown to the gang while they stalked them silently beyond their sights...
Miu drove the two squabbling lovebirds home, blushing as she noticed Jenna fall asleep and lean on his shoulder as they made their way to her grandparents' house. "Look at that!" she cooed excitedly in a whisper, seeing Bakugo looking away and twitching with his reddened face. "Jenna has a hard time trusting others… her family isn't really that good to her, either… I'm happy to see you fought your way through her arrows and blasted down her defenses." She gave him a thumbs up from the front, but her words caught his attention.
"Huh? She has family issues?" He took on a bit of a gentler tone then, putting his hands solemnly to his knees as she breathed lightly by his side.
"Oh? Jenna didn't tell you? Guess that's obvious, even if you are her boyfriend, that's kinda deep for Jenna's liking…" Miu put a pointer finger up to her lips, thinking about it. He opened his mouth to correct her but as Jenna turned in her sleep, falling more onto his chest, he decided not to risk waking her. "Hmm… how much to tell and how much not to? Maybe you should ask Jenna about it."
"I'm asking you." He glared, and his intimidation made her look back turn the wheel. Jenna flopped more onto him and he got startled, moving her back off his lap and onto his shoulder. "Why you-!" he shouted in a whisper.
"Hehe! Okay! But if I tell you the juicy gossip, you have to promise to protect me from her wrath if and when she figures out it was me! Hee-hee!" she giggled into the back of her hand. "Jenna's kinda as slick as a thief but as thorough as a cop!"
"Makes for a good hero." Bakugo tsked. 'Though… I would say she stabbed through my defenses… if anything.' He thought to himself, thinking back on what she had previously said about Jenna being a tightly shut case.
He looked over to her and gently tapped his chin to her face, as though keeping her steady while the car rocked on.
"Jenna has two brothers and a sister, being the oldest wasn't easy when you have a lot of siblings, you know? Plus, her mother always put all the burden on her. The family began to drift and her mother looked to her first excuse, Jenna. It was sudden and abrupt, but let's just say it was a long time coming… Jenna finally had enough of her mother's abuse and took off to live with her grandparents. Her Dad? Not really one to fight against her mother… so she really had no one to defend her but herself. The fight was really bad, at least, that's all I'll say about it." She waved the rest off, not wanting to go too far into detail, out of respect for her friend. "Just know… Jenna's heart isn't easy to break into. It's even harder to break out." She pressed a button and suddenly the car had knives, daggers, and mini-pistols aimed all around Bakugo's frame. She twisted her hand over the wheel and manipulated it into chains that strung around his neck... if he resisted, even tried to pull back from its entanglement, the car would serve.
Miu's demeanor took on a devil, and her hair seemed to fly in the wind of the highway.
He sweated but tried not to move, just stared at the objects that had mechanically come out of every nook and cranny of the car, then froze at the chained noose around his neck...
"Plus, she has the best support system to date! So if you hurt my Jennie,... I'll cut you up~" she chimed, making a cute pose as she stopped the car, turning her wrist again and reverting everything back to normal.
The mechanical weaponry withdrew back into their proper places before Jenna could wake up and notice the car parked outside her grandparent's home.
Turning around to kick them out, Miu stuck out her tongue, "Alright, you two love birds. Get out of my car and be good, okay? It's late, so maybe you and Jenna could hang out in the broken Jacuzzi?"
Bakugo's ears immediately picked up on that word, shaken up by it's mention. "You mean… she actually has one!?" He remembered her flirtations back with their first rematch…
He slammed a fist to the car's door, almost denting it. "So she wasn't just being nervous! That darn brat! She was having thoughts, wasn't she!?"
"Ah~! My car…" Miu whimpered out, seeing him strike it so.
"Emm… H-huh?" Jenna blinked her eyes open at the sound of the impact and his growing voice, moving off of his shoulder and looking around. "Did I… doze off?" That was slightly rare for her. She usually was so attentive…
'I lose so much focus with this kid.' she thought while she yawned, 'That's twice today.' Little did she know it was thrice...
"Ah, the chocolate finally got to you. You know, that stuff makes you feel so good you just fall right to sleep~" Miu winked to her before pouting to Bakugo, as though her devious side never happened. "Not a word, handsome. Oh, by the way, got any friends up in UA?" she tilted her head cutely.
"Pfft! Psycho!" Bakugo turned away, annoyed to his limit by her but then Jenna rubbed her eyes and smiled.
"He knows a guy. Hard, with red spiky hair?"
"Ohhh! Is he single!?"
"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Bakugo kicked the door open as it swung to the side a moment, its two tires lifting off the ground for a split second before bouncing back down.
"What did I just say about my car!? Ohh…" Miu let out some dramatic tears as Jenna handed her some money, "For whatever else he may have damaged." And pushed him out before he could do more harm.
"Hehe, I'll take the cash, but tell me, tell me! Ohh, tell me already!" she stuck her head out of the window and whined as she noticed Jenna seemed done with her by then. "Are you two really dating or not!?"
"That's none of her business!" Bakugo barked out another holler, turning around and having blasts spark from his hands that—this time—caused explosions. Now the neighbors were turning their lights on…
"And if we are? What of it?" She placed her hands on her hips, turning to Bakguo to put him in his place and give him a sly look. She then turned and winked to her trusted friend, Miu, sending her off as she had the whole car jump up and spin around like a fast carnival ride.
"I knneeewwww iiiiit!" Miu landed hard again and gave her best, haughty laugh. "I just wanted him to admit it, honestly."
"T-That weirdo is your friend…?" Bakugo stops his bursts of light in the now fading day and twitches an eyebrow at her theatrics. Jenna hits him on his arm, "Hey! Don't judge! You don't even have any friends!"
Bakugo growls back, hitting her arm, "I-! Grr… I have acquaintances!" he pulls back, just shouting in her face now. "And I'm not sleeping in a Jacuzzi!" he ranted, stomping his feet down and swinging an arm up in his frustrations.
"You told him!?" Jenna gave her a death glare as Miu just snickered into her hand with a knowing blush. "It was too good to resist. Now, Don't have too much fun, you two~" she then drove off after Jenna swung the door shut and glared her way. "And let me know about that hard guy." She crudely inputted before taking off down the long road. They were far out from the city, passed the bridge and towards more open areas of land. But it still seemed too crowded…
The houses had an actual yard and fences around their perimeter, her grandparents had a light purplish-blue for their fence and their house was tall and skinny, almost sharpened pillars in an old-timey feel.
"Great, that blabbermouth probably said too much." She bundled her fists up, heading towards the home.
"I'll aim for your head if you make me repeat any of it!" Bakugo tsked, remembering his 'kinda' promise to Miu. Though he had much more loyalty to Jenna at this point... he suddenly wondered if she would fight him to receive the information, and cutely looked back to see what she would do.
"Don't you always aim for my head?" Jenna smirked, remembering their first battle and how she leaned her head into his hand.
Bakugo snickered, turning around and taking his hands out of his pockets, having them in there when he noticed people looking around through their windows. "And you aim for the hand, heh." He recalled her jamming the arrow into his wrist grenades, storing all his explosive sweat and almost having them kill each other...
But while his thoughts were on that faithful battlefield, she grabbed his unsuspecting hand.
"Good point, it's where all the true chemistry lies, right?" she winked to him and leaned to kiss his cheek, pulling the interlocked hands towards her to get a better aim. However, he reflexed and pulled back, startled.
"W-wha-what was that for, Pipsqueak!?"
"Geez, your loud mouth is going to wake the whole neighborhood." She rolled her eyes but looked a little hurt that he didn't let her kiss at least his cheek. "If it hasn't already…"
As they approached the backyard shed, just a little off to the side of the house, she pushed him in and creaked the door open to just a slit, "I'll go get you some clothes in just a moment. Let me just say hi really fast, okay!?"
He kicked some rocks and looked around the shed, seeing the sign 'out of use' on the Jacuzzi.
He stared at it a moment as Jenna decided he was probably just accepting his fate. "Love ya~" she teased and closed the door.
She could hear his frustrations as the whole shed seemed to throw a racket and quickly ran to her door to make the excuse that raccoons got in or something and she was going to hunt them down.
As Miu made her way down the road, humming to the radio gleefully, her tire suddenly was punctured by a liquid spike that protruded randomly from the ground.
"What the-!? Ahh!" she spun the wheel and threw out a grapple from her car's hood. It grabbed onto a street post, tilting it as she almost went completely off the road.
It gave her a strong hold and she was able to stay on the road bridge, "Phew…" She flipped her hair out of her face, having it drape all over her eyes and nose.
"Dumb broad, She can't move without releasing that grapple now." A voice spoke out, and she nervously turned to see shadows approaching her.
"Ohhh… Why do I always get stuck with the dark, shady types..?" She faked her fear, reaching for a combination code on her car.
"Come on, toots. We got some business with ya…" one drew a knife, and she laughed hysterically.
"You brought a knife..?" She suddenly swirled her arms up and manipulated the metal of her car to form around her, different devices allowed certain functions to remain intact while the car mutated around her and transformed into a mechanical suit for her. "To a mecha fight?"
The men looked up towards the core of the mecha, seeing her stand a few feet up, her crazy gaze showing her excitement at this new situation.
"Now, who wants an oily death, first?" She puckered her lips as though kissing them goodbye, and began to fire out missiles with her insane fast punches, launching some of the gang of men over the bridge.
It wasn't long though, with her arrogance skyrocketing as she continued to destroy their small group, that another liquid spike pierced her in-between the shoulder and neck of her mecha suit. She glared with a wince, "Some boys like to play rough... I love a good pin!" She pulled the spike out, snapping it with a karate chop of her suit, "Jenna taught me that!" then grabbed a handful falling and slammed them against the bridge's pavement. "But I'm more of a dominant personality..." she mused, turning to the man's quirk who had the clear, blue liquid spike suddenly bar her way from movement.
She tried to hack through it but then another's quirk seemed to come in handy, placing his hands to the ground, it melted her feet to the bridge.
"Grr... You really like to gang up on a girl, huh!?" She stomped her real feet out of the mecha's feet, kicking in her defiance. "Nooo! I wanted to play more!"
"Enough. Start talking and maybe we'll go easy on ya..." Captain flipped his jacket back, moving from a motorcycle that was safely away from the battle scene. His eye shone with strange symbols as though his eye was scanning and calculating things...
His huge scratch marks distracted Miu for a second, but her innocent head tilt showed she was still far from afraid. She seemed very comfortable with these sorts of scenarios.
"You're sort of indie-famous, aren't ya, sweetie?" The hollow white eye revealed almost coding figures in a bright green light, like the ones you would see on a computer. "The Internet sure has a lot on your pretty face, but more so on that Blonde Japanese boy. Think you could tell us where you dropped those pretties off too?"
"Emm... not really." Miu shrugged in her bubbly way. "I'm still not done yet." she typed in some code with what remained intact from her custom support car's dashboard.
"I can make her talk, Capt." The man with the bright blonde hair and pink bandanna spun his liquid morning star weapon into a solid weapon before those same silvery spikes protruded out from it like stabby crystals. "Ain't nobody I can't make talk..."
"Ohh, what fun and games." She finished secretly typing in her code on her machine. The car reverted into another setting and she quickly mutated the metal again.
Slipping out the back, she had it form into a tower of ammunition and firepower, shooting everything out as she began to run.
"Follow the wench." Captain stated, moving to his bike as the blonde boy smiled and took off on a liquid skateboard he formed after her.
Miu knew he would catch up to her in no time, and grabbed some of the metal from the bridge, causing it to topple.
"Ahhh!" the bandanna man turned the skateboard into a pillar that kept him up, but the rest of the pursuing men fell into the ditch below.
"Tootles!" she flicked her fingers back in a half-hearted wave and used the rest of the metal to mutate into a scooter's frame. She didn't have much to work with, and abandoning her car made her sick to her stomach, but she had a ton of mocks back home... she could just make another one.
It self-destructed with a wave of her hand, and the bridge was completely decimated.
From the dust that rose a thick cloud from the destruction, a perfect ramp had formed and a motorcycle's light shone through it. Jumping over the huge gaping distance where the bridge once stood, Captain and his subordinate followed Miu a distance behind.
"Captain?" The man looked at him.
"I've got it, Riggs." Captain had navigated the routes through his eye's connection to the internet. "Follow me." He swerved his massive bike, having the tail of his jacket flare up as he went down an unseen trail in the night.
Riggs followed with a drooling smirk, ready for round two... and this time, hopefully with their true target.
Miu looked back behind her, propelling the makeshift scooter on and scanning the area around her to see if anyone had followed her. It appeared not. "Phew, that interrogating bunch really put a damper on my mood!" she seemed to have an insane expression on her face, "Hehehe... I'll just run off and tell Jenna how they won't have faces by tomorrow morning. I'll tell her. I'll break more than their kneecaps~ hehe!" her true colors seemed to be revealed from the action-packed fight.
She skated off ahead, unknowingly leading the two villains straight to Jenna's home...
Jenna entered her quaint grandparent's home with as much cautious stealth as she could muster. She wasn't all that tired, but the jet-lag seemed to be canceled out by her adrenaline at keeping a boy in the shed.
She quickly snuck up the creaky, circling stairs to the attic and got out some of her brother's old clothes, the ones he kept there for when he went to visit them. They may be a bit tight... but it would work.
She hid it in a bag and dropped her stuff off in her room, heading back down the stairs with a backpack—ready to stuff it with snacks so Bakugo wouldn't starve, when her grandma and grandpa's note fell from the stand by the stairs.
Curious, she picked it up: "We're so proud of you, Jenna. We know you took your vacation time off to send a transfer in Japan's infamous UA school, even though you don't like stepping too far out of your comfort zone. We're very happy for you, and hope you made lots of fun friends. Grandpa and I will be home tomorrow morning from visiting the countryside, so don't fret! I left you some welcome home cake. Your favorite, chocolate with burning arrows as the candles! Remember to sleep well from your trip, we love you. - Grandma and Grandpa."
She studied the note carefully and smiled, "Thanks, guys." and tucked the note carefully into her pocket as she made her way out to the shed.
"Good news! You're safe for the night-" she cut herself off a moment as she saw him using a screwdriver to unclog a jet in the Jacuzzi, and finally, moved to turn on the water.
She was amazed to see the bubbles burst and the jets work again...
"Are those... bubbles?" he had even cleaned the area too. It wasn't anywhere near 'good as new' but for a few hours to make something, it was actually pretty impressive.
"Yeah, they're running again, what of it?" He brushed out, looking annoyed by her questions.
"You did this?" she gawked, looking at the water heating up.
He had changed out of his disguise and was back in his hero attire, but looked a bit uncomfortable still wearing it.
She sat the backpack down, watching him get some grime off his hands.
"I just don't like to sit around and do nothin'." He seemed to maybe have an ulterior motive...
She hugged her knees while squatting down to watch the bubbling water and then admire him again, leaning her head to the side, "What are you implying..?"
Her suspicion was purely flirty, and he paused while cleaning himself up to slam the cloth he was using down on his knee. "I'm only here for my rematch, American!"
She saw how innocently he was trying to cover it up, and smiled, "Well, I came to UA for a relaxing vacation. Wasn't expecting to fear saying goodbye to someone... or having them chase me all the way across the world either." she gave him a sly look that also hinted that she wanted him to come closer.
In a gruff manner, he burst an explosion towards the water, splashing her and turning away as he blushed. "You make somethin' out of everything, you know that!?"
"You tried so hard to be cute today, why stop now?"
"I'm not cute!" he ruffled his hair, "Shut up, Arrow!"
"Uh-huh." She walked over to a locker and pulled out a swimsuit, then tossed him some trunks, "Those should fit." she went into a smaller cabinet room as he stared off after her, holding the trunks.
When she had changed, she dipped her body slowly into the now heated water, watching the steam and giggling as Bakugo was already in it, grumpy and folding his arms. He gave her a relaxed glance over her way, and she was surprised he wasn't gawking over her.
"This is the first time you've seen me in a swimsuit, and you're not at all impressed?" She tucked herself into the water and couldn't help but feel bubbles in her chest from his eyes never leaving hers.
He laughed a second, being as loud as he could, "Your hero suit is skin-tight, there's nothing under there I haven't seen."
She whacked him, then moved closer, "For a Japanese man, you sure come on fast..." she began skimming her fingers over his chest as he blushed and fidgeted.
"Oui..." He glared her way, and she laughed, pulling a bit away. "What do you think you're doing?"
"Oh? I thought this is exactly why you fixed it." She teased, fiddling with her fingers as though acting coy.
He suddenly seemed to get nervous, tsking at her had become some sort of way to mask his real feelings, "W-what are you talking about..? Get away from me, Pipsqueak! You freak!" he splashed some water at her and she faked him out that she was gonna splash him back, but instead...
"Psyche!" She kissed him when he turned back after not getting soaked with the hot water.
There was a moment of silence...
When she pulled away, she actually placed some fingers on her lips, lightly wondering why this sensation was so different.
Then... without noticing... Bakugo began to smoothly, ever so slowly, move closer and over her then. He gripped the rim of the Jacuzzi as though pining her from escape, and stared intensely into her eyes.
For the first time in a long time, Jenna began to get nervous and laughed to cope with the sudden action. "O-oh? You really couldn't just let me leave Japan without you, could you? Haha...ha..."
He moved in closer...
"Haha... Hahaha! B-Baku-" She froze a second as her hands came up to maybe stop him, simply out of impulse, but he just waited a moment longer...
With such flaring heat in his eyes, she softly lowered her hesitant hands and placed them on his chest delicately, letting him move closer. They shared in a second, more passionate kiss.
With the steam of the constantly jetting bubbles and the warmth in their cheeks, they explore a bit more of this strange, new feeling and sensation...
With droplets falling from his hair as her hands gradually came up his neck to feel within that fluffy mess, it was straight out of a movie's fantasy reel for the two.
When he pulled away, he immediately gave her another smoldering look as intense as if he was in the middle of a fierce battle, "Don't get the wrong idea..." His voice was so much more alluring now that Jenna was almost tempted to silence this angry boy once and for all.
As she moved more up against him, he continued, "I just couldn't stand the fact that you were leaving... after giving me the slip, I was ticked off."
She closed and opened her eyes as though wondering if she was still in the dream, and amazed to find she was.
Maybe the jet-lag was more powerful than she had supposed, and she had passed out on her bed while trying to gather things up in her backpack for Bakugo.
"I'm not someone to be kept waiting... so you're either my pathetic American who bested me twice... or you're not." She mouthed his first name, and he tilted his head a moment, as though wanting to hear it a bit louder as he smirked. "Either way, I don't like being so mad... and not being able to do anything about it." he went in for another tender kiss as Jenna completely submitted to this one, leaning back and arching herself to fully take him in.
But she was really waiting for the perfect opening...
"It's not my style." He pulled away and she went for it.
"Katsuki..." she breathed out, the steam clinging to her face as her voice grew fainter and fainter. "Don't you ever forget... only I'm brave enough to put my face... up against a ticking time-bomb." She grabbed his face, startling him a moment. "And it's about time you said something!" she jumped into him, kissing him as he flailed about in a bit of shock at her forwardness.
The two tossed around a bit in the water but settled down later into it as Bakugo began to give in little by little to her, leaning more deeper into the embrace.
"You and I both get frustrated, don't we?" Bakugo slurred a moment in his words as Jenna didn't really give him a second to ground himself or breathe.
"I get way more frustrated than you, silly!" she chimed in, flipping her now wet hair back and having it spray out of the hot tub. "But you don't say much... still, I'm really glad you're here." the look in her eyes was more than just doting. She had captivated him and he, in return, had finally expressed his enchantment back to her.
Her smile was the flame, and his confession... the explosion.
"Emm... Me too." he laid his head on her shoulder, moving it into the crook of her neck, "Jenna..." faking a bite as she laughed. "I think words can be pointless sometimes... without actions."
She held him tighter and kissed the side of his face, "Would you quit teasing and get back to 'fighting' me already?" he knew what she meant though.
He pulled back with a sneer, "I don't lose." and came for her again, "This time... I'll really kill ya." But Jenna grew excited, knowing what he meant.
But before the two could even continue, Miu slammed the door open, a wild look of blood-lust on her face.
"They're coming for you!"
The two froze before Jenna swung her body around and pulled out her bow from her backpack. She flung around again and attempted to wrap her arms around Bakugo again as she drew it out and pointed it right at her. "This is the last time you block me." But then noticed Bakugo wasn't in the Jacuzzi anymore. "H-huh?" she looked absolutely devastated.
"No! For real!" Miu waved her arms out apologetically but then snickered, "W-wha-what were you two just doing... in there?"
Bakugo shivered outside the Jacuzzi, sneezing in the cold as he apparently had jumped out and immediately went to cower in a corner. "Darn Americans, no privacy. There better not be any cameras here!" He blasted some wet explosions from his hands as he roared in his aggressive way but Miu didn't seem intimidated by the act the two were putting on.
"Ohh~ Sorry to interrupt, but-!" she put on a fake, cutesy act before a silver spike stuck out towards her neck. "Eee... I guess I lead them right to ya... sorry about that." she sweat-dropped a little and made a sweet face that showed her guilty mistake. Still, there was no fear in her eyes, amazingly.
'Just what kind of country is this!?' Bakugo got up after seeing the spike, freaked out but worried suddenly for Jenna.
From the side of the shed door's frames, the men appeared with grins, and Riggs lifted his arm up leisurely to lean against the side. "UA student... Welcome to the United  States!"
Captain also seemed to barge in, but Jenna pulled out an arrow and fired for his face. He caught it as the marble eye examining it, seeming to search up its materials and properties, but they seemed unknown and flashed red before he removed the arrow from its sights. "Hmph, the girl from the newscast shows her face again too." He flipped the arrow around, letting it twiddle between his fingers. "With all the news lately from Japan, the high security and League of Villains running around... I'm sure either one of them would pay handsomely for ya..." he seemed to disregard the arrow. After all, it wasn't high on his priority, to-do list.
"A ransom?" Jenna looked to Bakugo, who was already getting his wrist grenades on.
"I'm sick of having our battles cut short by your head shots." He grunted out, seeing Riggs throw his hands out and spikes protrude to jam into his wrist, making them unmovable for a moment. "Grr... I'll show you all... The strength of UA!" it was like a caged lion's roar, and Jenna suddenly understood.
"Why does everyone want my boyfriend?" She looked annoyed.
"He is kinda wanted." Miu licked her lips and Jenna just glared, unamused at her.
"You were once kidnapped before, think we can't do a similar job?" Riggs mocked Bakugo, snickering from the side of his mouth. He spread his hands back to Jenna but Bakugo blasted the area. Since he couldn't move his arms now, being stuck between the wedges of the bluish-silver spikes, it headed straight for Miu who moved from the previous spike's location and ducked, jumping and covering her head.
It was the distraction Jenna needed though, seeing Captain turn behind him to watch Miu-'Now!' she leaped up to try and rip her arrow from his hand but he grabbed her with his free one, sneering a smirk.
"Gotcha." He threw her around and pinned her against him, pointing her arrow right at her neck. "Play nice, Japanese boy, or you're little damsel here gets it."
Jenna struggled, "I'm not the damsel here!" she eyed to Bakugo the light misty steam off of her arrow, and then the Jacuzzi.
He nodded, "I think we all need to cool off!" He did his best to wiggle his wrists down and move his hands to blast the water as much as possible out, continuing to fire down towards it as the hot water shot up at them.
In the distraction, Jenna bit the arrow and ripped it out of the shocked Captain's hands, grabbing it and jumping to throw it to his feet.
Ice sprung out at his base and locked him in place, the water cooling and creating a huge fog that kept them mostly hidden.
"Hey!" Captain tried to cover his one good eye before being completely blinded by the steam and unable to move. Through the white, wet mass of fog—arrows swiped through the air into him.
He tried to dodge the first few but soon was hit on his leg, chest, and shoulder. He wasn't able to slump down so his head fell a bit, "Y-you... Rotten kids..."
Riggs's shouted in the distance, and the spikes blocking Bakugo soon withdrew and turned to liquid puddles, dropping from the suspended air as he started blasting in Captain's direction.
"You're not getting away so easily!" He couldn't understand the English, but Jenna said ransom in Japanese and he filled in the rest.
He blasted the ice the man was detained in and had him flung against the side of the shed, forcing him down.
"Now... where's the other one?" Bakugo tried to listen around, but the arrows had stopped. "Jenna?" He looked behind him, "Arrow!?" He called out.
A pair of hands wrapped around his waist, spooking him.
"Darn you!" He fired out but the figure dodged and laughed. "H-huh?"
"They were far too easy!" She giggled, "Did they really think they could take us on? The first place tourney winner for the sport's festival and the prodigy Arrow?"
"Prodigy?" Bakugo spat out, raising an eyebrow before smiling widely to her. "America's nothing like Japan! Let's just get these guys squared away!"
"Right!" Jenna moved aside after hopping for a kiss and then swung her bow, whacking a figure in the mist.
"Ow! Oui, stand down!" Miu's voice broke through and stopped Jenna from swinging another blow.
"Oh! Sorry, stay out of the way then!" Jenna went to swing again and move stealthily but Bakugo grabbed her waist and pointed to the figure on the ground.
"If you stopped a second to think about your safety, you'd have already seen that he's trapped in some sort of contraption with a baseball-sized bump on his head, idiot!"
"Ohhh! What'd you call me!? Blasting hot water on my ice arrow was my idea, smart one. What? Can't stand the fact that I saved you!?"
"Saved me!?" He pulled her right up to his chest, "I dare you to say that again."
"I love you!"
His face suddenly burst with red, little fumes showing his embarrassment. "W-wha? How dare you!"
"How dare YOU not say it back!"
Miu was still beating up the guy in her metal entrapment, but stopped her bloodbath to swoon at Bakugo and Jenna, "Aww, I ship it!" She swung her slugger into a groaning Rigg's head to finally knock him fully out.
The police came and Miu sorted things out, but Jenna had to explain to her grandparents that the boy she was making out with and then burst off like a rocket towards the sky was nothing to be afraid of~
Just don't tell her parents.
But she had whispered to him that he was her hero, and she blushed in surprise when he told her she was his reason to be stronger and better than All Might.
Every now and then she would write him, telling him her next trip to UA... before she got the word back that she was accepted into UA as a full-fledged student!
Deku turned his head to see what letter Bakugo was reading, "Is that from your girlfriend?"
"Yeah... Wait." His eyes widened, "YOU NERD!" he blasted an explosion towards Deku but he dodged it, smiling gleefully.
"I think that's great! You two got along so well!"
"Fight me like a man!"
"It's okay! I-I-I honestly think it's cute!"
"I'M NOT CUTE YOU WORTHLESS NOTHING!"
"I-I didn't mean it like that, Kacchan!"

For the kids thingy. Pls. 47. Out of Spite for Bakugou/Kirishima pls
47. ...out of spite
Kirishima didn’t get mad at Bakugou often. Even before they had started dating, it never really happened. He got annoyed, sure. Bakugou was an asshole. Kirishima knew this, probably better than most at this point. But he also knew that there was a person past the asshole Bakugou portrayed. And so Kirishima had learned to translate the insults and jabs into what Bakugou really meant. It came to him easy as breathing.
That didn’t necessarily mean Bakugou never got under his skin.
It was the end of the day and they were sparring. Kirishima had been burning the wicks at both ends between school and his internship with Fatgum. Every one of his limbs burned from training and patrols, and his head spun with the facts and figures of the upcoming raid. He knew his heart wasn’t in it today.
Which would have been fine if Bakugou didn’t take it like a personal insult.
“Is this the best you can do, hair-for-brains?” He shouted. An explosion rocketed from his palm and Kirishima barely rolled out of the way. He grimaced. Bakugou was kicking his ass, and it was embarrassing. Even though Bakugou won more often than not, Kirishima could usually at least hold his own. He hadn’t managed to get one good hit in the whole time, constantly stuck on the defensive. It was frustrating, to the point that Kirishima could feel angry tears welling in his eyes.
Bakugou’s words weren’t helping.
“You should be better than this! Give me your all!” He fired an explosion at Kirishima’s feet, to make him stumbled, then blasted him into the back wall. “You wanna honor Crimson Riot, then do it!” Another explosion, this time right at his face. Kirishima dropped to his knees, but felt the heat surge through his hair. “Prove you belong here or stop wasting everyone’s time!”
Later, Kirishima would feel bad. He hadn’t told Bakugou about his middle school days, about the insecurities that plagued him. He hadn’t told Bakugou why he dyed his hair and spiked it the way he did. And he most certainly hadn’t told Bakugou about the case he was currently working on, and how all his flaws felt amplified under the weight each mistake he made.
Bakugou hadn’t known, and without context, none of what he was saying was any worse than his normal vitriol.
But in the moment, Kirishima felt exactly like the sad boy with black hair he had sworn would never again define him, and he wanted it to stop.
Suddenly, he was certain he could win, albeit, if he played a little dirty.
He charged Bakugou, pushing off the wall to give himself momentum. For a moment, Bakugou was surprised, and his hands faltered, before he remembered himself and detonated two explosions, one glancing Kirishima’s shoulder and the other slamming into his gut. Kirishima pushed through. He had to get close enough.
Bakugou seemed to realize what Kirishima was going for. He grinned, and braced himself for hand to hand, palms sparking in anticipation. His mouth erupted in a grin so feral, Kirishima was ready for him to sprout fangs. “Finally figured out you don’t stand a chance from far away?” Bakugou taunted and Kirishima growled.
“Shut up!” he grunted, and grabbed Bakugou’s shirt to pull him into a kiss. Kirishima could feel Bakugou’s brain reset as his entire body tensed up, then relaxed. He didn’t kiss back, but his lips parted in surprise, allowing Kirishima to easily swipe his tongue across his teeth. For the first time in an hour, the popping and cracking of nitroglycerin silenced.
Gotcha.
Kirishima bent his knees and grabbed Bakugou’s arm. He flipped Bakugou over his shoulder before he even had a chance to struggle. Bakugou hit the mat hard, and Kirishima could hear the breath punch out of his lungs. He felt a little bad, but not enough to stop. He hardened one of his hands and held it to Bakugou’s throat, while using his knees to keep Bakugou’s arms down and useless. He was pinned.
For a moment, they just sat there, neither budging. The only sound was their heavy breaths, heaving from the workout. Now that they were still, Kirishima realized he was drenched in sweat and that it wouldn’t have been hard from Bakugou to slip out of his hold. He didn’t though. He merely stared at Kirishima. Kirishima stared back, noting how his boyfriend’s pupils dilated, the way he nervously swallowed and licked his lips.
Oh.
That was something Kirishima needed to file away for later.
But for now...
He sighed.
“There’s something I need to tell you.”

Finally got the girlies done! :D!! Click for better quality!
Tumblr media
This is Karite Shinsoroki, Hinagiku Bakugo-Midoriya, and Tami Togata!
I definetly did not do Tami's adorable ass outfit justice here-
There's a lot of things wrong with the outfits, but I couldn't really change;
Karite usually has a greenish color sweater she wears around her elbows, but that's very hard to draw and I didn't know how to layer the hair and everything, and not hide her!
Hinagiku should be wearing All Might merch.
Tami almost always is wearing the same cape that Tamaki wears. It just goes down to her knees, so I obviously didn't draw it since I want you to see her.
Quirks:
Karite ~ Loan
Whenever she brainwashes someone, either her ice or her fire gets transfered to them. She can't use the person's original quirk, she has to give one of her's up.
She can't choose whether she gives them ice or fire, it's a 50/50 chance, and so she usually won't make plans that aren't flexible in that aspect.
She can't use whichever quirk she gives up.
She activates the brainwashing the same way Shinso does.
Hinagiku ~ Explosion
Her sweat, tears, and pretty much everything else is the same nitroglycerin like substance as her father.
Smells even more like caramel than he does.
Tami ~ Permiation/Manifest
Nothing special; just both her dad's quirks. She has a lot more trouble using both at the same time, however, and she much prefers Permiation.
Appearances
Karite:
She has tanned skin, blue/purple and grey/purple eyes, and dark purple hair with red and white at the tips on the left and right sides respectively.
She really likes high waisted shorts with tank tops, and those are usually in greyscale, with a poofy greenish jacket to add some color.
Rocks those moccasins.
Hinagiku:
She has green eyes, pale skin, and green hair at the top with pristine blond further down, worn in two ponytails that she drapes over her shoulders.
Almost always seen in All Might merch. She's still holding onto him after over a decade.
When she's not, she doesn't have the best fashion sense and will throw a shirt under one of the many cute suspender-skirts she has.
Of course, you can't forget her bright red shoes that go with nothing she wears, but refuses to change!
Tami
Tami is a mini Tamaki — dark indigo eyes, darker skin, and indigo hair that she wears like Mirio used to in high school.
She likes cute strapless dresses that go down to a bit above her knees, and will wear a lighter color long sleeve shirt over it. They usually have some other poofy transparent fabric over those sleeves, which she only wears cos she thinks it's adorable. And it is.
She's usually wearing sandals, and her usually color palette is warm colors with a bit of very whitish-greens as accents or backgrounds.
Fun facts! :D
- Tami's cape is made with the fibers of her hair, so it permeates with her just like Mirio's cosume does!
She's actually allowed to wear the cape + hood in school as long as it's not over her head, since it helps with her self-consciousness, most of her being covered up by it.
- Mirio finds it really funny that Tami's doing the same thing with her hair as he did. She used to wear it just like Tamaki does, and then she switched to a half ponytail, and she's gone back to the Tamaki look a few times.
- Tami is demisexual and currently questioning whether she likes Hinagiku back.
Despite her having.. Y'know... Two fathers, she's still nervous to come out and hasn't yet. It's alright, Tami, take your time.
- Since Tamaki is a name you could use for either gender, Mirio really wanted to name her Tamaki!
But Tamaki got nervous, and asked the what if's like 'what if we break up and you have to say my name?'
Other than that, though, it would be confusing.
So they took the first letter of each of their names and boom! たミ! Tami!
- She has an incredible amount of respect for both dads, and she designed her hero costume after both of them.
And her fighting style. She sinks into the ground, then seems to warp just like Mirio does. Go for the gut!
- She has the same anxiety as Tamaki, it's really bad. But she still tries to smile! She doesn't want people to worry about her, so she smiles!
It also helps her whenever she's heroing, by making her feel like she can get through anything, and making the people she's saving feel safer.
But of course, like everything, this has a downside.
She hates it whenever she can't force her smiles and will get overwhelmingly angry with herself if she can't find a reason to smile about a situation.
~ Hinagiku is actually kind of an asshole, she just doesn't realize she's being really mean sometimes.
It used to really hurt her, because she had trouble keeping friends, and she's very scared of loosing Tami now.
Though, she's getting better at pinpointing behavior, apologising, and keeping an eye out for it.
~ She's still questioning. When she got close to Tami, she realized that all her previous 'crushes' weren't crushes at all! She thought she was pansexual, but she's not sure now.
She doesn't know the term for only being attracted to one person. She doesn't find any other girls pretty in that way, or boys handsome in that way.
~ Isn't very good with her volume due to her quirk. Needs and has hearing aids. Blew her ears-
She can hear without them, but just barely, and she won't be able to decipher what you're saying. She does know you're talking, though.
~ for being Japanese, she's very touchy-feely!
She loves hugs and holding hands and never leaves Tami alone even when there in public.
However, she can recognize when Tami doesn't want her to, and will stop. She's very observant in this way.
~ She's a hero fanatic. She knows everything about them all, including their real names.
She's still in absolute awe of (who she seee as) her girlfriend being the daughter of the #1 hero couple!!
And of course she's in awe of hereself being the daughter of the #1 standalone hero.
~ Hina knows sign language! When she realized she was loosing her hearing, she quickly picked up some books and started learning for her life.
It's also to understand her best friend Ogoe-de, who developed a vocal condition called aphonia when they were around four. She has a lot of trouble understanding why he's so sad about that, but it's probably because of his quirk depending on hisbvoice and him being loud. Poor thing. I'll get to him when I drae the guys.
Them being her, Karite, and him. They've known each other for a while!
• Karite is like super smart.
She's got really good problem solving skills, planning ahead, and is just snarr in general.
Because of this high bar, anything even slightly below it leaves her on her knees.
Almost literally.
• She is bisexual with a preference toward men.
Loves Ogoe-de more than she loves herself-
She hasn't told her dads about her sexuality, but she's not hiding it at all. She doesn't see the need to make it a big deal, and do she doesn't. They've never properly had a talk about it and she doesn't feel they need to.
• She's very aloof and barely shows emotions. Just like her dads.
Only exception is around her friends, where she's surprisingly sassy.
• She keeps Hinagiku under control.
“Stop harrassing Tami”
“I'm loving her!!”
• She uses the same tricks that Shinso used when he was young.
“Dad can we get McDonald's”
• She doesn't use her power willy nilly, though.
• Whenever they train, Hinagiku is usually he one she brainwashes. Both because she's very agile and because... She's really damn easy to brainwash.
She does volenteer, though! Karite wouldn't do that to her if she didn't allow it.
Ogoe-de doesn't understand why she doesn't just use him, and she tells him it's because he doesn't need the help of her quirk to become a good hero.
He disagrees.
It's one of the only things they don't agree upon, but they're working on it.
The boys and villians are coming soon, as well as the girl's hero costumes!

The Gamer Hero, Deku Chapter 8
A/N: Sorry if I got this out late or something, but I realized that I kept worrying about getting at least some writing out per day and that was actually causing me a bit of stress, so now I've decided to try not to worry about it and hope everything works out fine.
xoxoxo
I trembled with anticipation as I looked at the school from outside the gates. "Can you believe it, Kacchan?" I asked. "We're going to Yuuei! And we're in the same class!"
"Fuck yeah we are!" Kacchan pumped his fist in the air. "Fucking Yuuei!"
"This is our first step as heroes!" I exclaimed. "Wait, wouldn't our first step as heroes been-"
"First step as heroes, fuck yeah!" Kacchan agreed.
"It's so manly!" a male voice I'd never heard before said. I looked over to see a boy with spiky red hair and a wide, shark-toothed grin and a girl with pink hair and skin, horns, and very... distinctive eyes, both in school uniforms.
"Are you guys starting the hero course today too?" the pink girl asked. Is it rude to refer to her as 'the pink girl?' I looked up at their titles so I wouldn't have to call them by nicknames.
We Will Rock You
LV 26
Kirishima Eijiro
Alien Blood
LV 24
Ashido Mina
"Yeah," I said with a smile. "We're going to be in class 1-A. What about you guys?"
"Us too!" Kirishima said. "Let's walk to our homeroom together!"
As we walked to our homeroom class at Yuuei oh my gosh oh my gosh, Ashido said, "Hey, what are your guys' names? I'm Ashido Mina by the way!"
"Kirishima Eijiro!" Kirishima added.
"My name is Midoriya Izuku," I answered. "It's nice to meet you."
"You're looking at the future number one hero, Bakugou Katsuki!" Kacchan boasted. "And I guess Deku here will manage to make number one for a few years before I make my triumphant return," he added.
I gasped. "Kacchan, that's one of the nicest things you've ever said to me!"
"Hey, I just told you my name's Ashido Mina, not Bakugou Katsuki!" Ashido interjected with a laugh. When Kacchan looked at her with a confused expression. "Just kidding! So what about your Quirks? If you don't mind me asking, anyway. Mine's Acid! I can make this corrosive stuff from my skin that doesn't burn my skin, plus it makes my skin pink for some reason."
"Maybe the altered pigment is a side effect of whatever makes you resistant to your acid?" I theorized. Ashido gave me a carefree shrug.
"Mine is Hardening!" Kirishima offered, pointing to himself. "I can turn my skin all hard and kinda rocky at will, and yes, I've heard all of the jokes."
"Explosion," Kacchan said with a grin. "I sweat what's basically nitroglycerin from my palms and can ignite it at will. I'm also resistant to impacts and fire, which is how I haven't gone deaf or blown my fucking arms off yet."
"So manly!" Kirishima cheered. "I haven't even seen it in action and I can already tell it's super cool-looking, unlike mine!"
"I'm sure yours is perfectly fine, Kirishima," I assured him.
He chuckled a bit. "Sure, but it's not as flashy as some other Quirks."
"Yeah, well my Quirk doesn't even hold a candle to the potential bulshittery that is Deku's, but that doesn't mean mine sucks," Kacchan roughly interjected.
"What is your Quirk anyway, Midoriya?" Ashido asked.
I chuckled and rubbed the back of my head. "I-it's a little hard to explain..."
"It's called The Gamer and it lets him do RPG stuff, like upgrading his stats and leveling up," Kacchan explained.
"Yeah, that's about it," I said. "I can also get various skills and then level them up and I have an inventory that I can put things in and take them out later."
"Which is pretty bullshit, how it works," Kacchan added. "He can shove fucking anything in there, even if he can't even carry it."
"That's awesome!" Ashido said.
I smiled. "Thanks!" I stopped in front of the massive door for class 1-A
"Why's it so big?" Kirishima asked.
"It's probably just in case there's someone with a Mutant Quirk that makes them really big," I explained. I opened the door to see that only about half the class was there. I was glad that Kacchan insisted we come early, because I felt like I would've been almost late otherwise. Instead, only about half the class was there and Kacchan and I just calmly walked over to some empty desks and took our seats. The first thing that Kacchan did after sitting down was to immediately put his feet up on the desk, which made me sigh. "Our new teacher might not be as okay with you doing that as our last teacher, Kacchan."
He just glared at me. "And you mumble a lot, Deku. Ya sure the teach'll like that?"
"Fair enough," I mumbled and pulled out my Skill Grimoir to wait for the teacher.
"You!" A familiar voice yelled after a while. I looked up from my book to see that one uptight guy from the exams, Iida. "Don't put your feet on the desk! It is disrespectful!" I sighed.
"Well how 'bout you shut the fuck up, teacher's pet," Kacchan growled. There it was...
I shut my book. "Kacchan, please don't get in a fight on the first day. Iida, please don't rile Kacchan up, he doesn't like it when people order him around like that."
"Well he should get used to being ordered around, because this is a school and the teacher will have to order you around." I slumped my head. That did not sound like it'd go over well.
Kacchan glared at Iida. "Deku wasn't talking about teachers, dipshit. I hate it when I feel like people who don't have any reason to boss me around are looking down on me and shit, asshat."
Iida blinked, then bowed at a ninety-degree angle. "I apologize for my insensitivity, though I... would prefer that you do not use words like that in a school environment."
Kacchan sighed and put his feet on the ground in a calm manner that I was not at all expecting. "Don't be an as- a jerk about asking and we won't have an issue, alright? And for what it's worth, I'm sorry 'bout getting that angry so soon." He looked away and started blushing slightly. "I've started to notice that my anger issues are really bad and not at all what a hero should act like, so I'm trying to get better with that."
Iida smiled widely at that. "I accept your apology. It is very admirable that you accept your flaws and are working to better yourself! I am sure that you will make a fine hero when we graduate!"
Kacchan chuckled and gave him a grin. "You're actually pretty alright, man."
As Iida got to his seat, I heard the door open and a familiar voice said, "Oh, hey, Midoriya!" I looked over to see Uraraka waving at me. "We're in the same class! What a coincidence, huh?"
"O-oh, hey, Uraraka!" I waved back. "I hope that we'll get to be friends over the course of our education!"
"If being friends is all you want to do here then you should leave now," a voice said from the doorway. I just barely managed to see a bit of what looked like a yellow sleeping bag from the doorway. The person inside the sleeping bag got up and discarded his bag before saying, "It took you five seconds to quiet down." The man with dark hair and clothes walked into the room and glowered at all of us as Uraraka got to a seat. "My name is Aizawa Shōta," he said, then took a sip from some sort of juice pouch. "I'll be your homeroom teacher for the next three years, assuming you stay in Yuuei."
"That name sounds familiar..." I muttered to myself. It was obvious from the facts that I couldn't see his level and title and his being a teacher at Yuuei that he was a pro hero, but I couldn't remember who he was.
"Your gym uniforms are in my desk," he told us. "Put them on and come outside."
xoxoxo
"You guys are going to run a Quirk assessment exam," he told us when we all went outside.
"But what about orientation?" Uraraka asked.
Aizawa-sensei shook his head. "Teachers in the hero course have a lot more leeway than traditional schools. None of you have ever used your Quirks in physical exams because of stupid laws that were put in place. Here, however, you have no restrictions." He tossed a ball to Kacchan. "Bakugou, you were the top scorer in the entrance exam. What was your best score with the softball throw?"
"I forget exactly, but I think it was like sixty-seven meters. That about right, Deku?"
"Sixty-seven point nine," I corrected.
"Use your Quirk," Aizawa-sensei told him. Kacchan grinned and went to the circle. "You can do anything you want, just stay in the circle." Kacchan threw the ball as hard as possible with what looked like a shaped charge explosion. The ball shot off like a rocket and landed far enough away that I was willing to bet Kacchan had broken a kilometer. Though when Aizawa-sensei turned his phone to us, I saw that Kacchan was just barely short.
"That was awesome!" someone said, with everyone joining in the cheer.
"Do you think this is a game?" our teacher asked harshly. "This is serious. Every single one of you are here to be pro heroes. If any of you are here for fun, you won't be soon. At the end of this physical exam, whoever has the lowest score will be expelled."
I'm proud to say that, for the first time, the whole class united together all to scream "WHAT!?"
"You can't expel someone on the first day!" Uraraka said.
"I can and I will," Aizawa-sensei scowled. "Don't like it? Don't be last. Pro heroes have to be ready for natural disasters and other horrible occurrences, so this should be nothing. First is the fifty meter dash. Asui and Iida go first." Iida naturally got a good score on account of his speed-boosting Quirk which, now that I had a good look at it, appeared to be engines inside his calves, which reminded me of the Turbo Hero, Ingenium. Considering his last name, was he a relative? The other girl, Asui, was able to get a decent score with her Quirk, which if I knew my Mutant Quirk naming conventions right, was probably called either Frog or Toad. If the slight glisten on her skin that I saw with my Hawkeye-boosted sight was any indication, it was probably Frog.
The rest of our classmates' runs were just as interesting. While some of them just couldn't or didn't use their Quirks for the dash, like the one girl whose Quirk seemed to be that she was permanently invisible, most of our classmates used their Quirks in really creative ways. For example, Uraraka made her clothes lighter and that one hot French boy from the entrance exam (Aoyama, I think his title said) used his laser-based Quirk for propulsion.
Somehow.
Soon enough, it was Kacchan's and my turn to run. Kacchan and I grinned at each other as we activated our Elemental Auras and I used a Speed Up. While I only ran, the buffs I had combined with my nearly sixty DEX meant that that gave me an S-rank score. Of course, Kacchan scored less than a second ahead of me thanks to his combination of Fire Aura and what looked like fire jets coming from the palms of his hands, as opposed to continuous explosions. I'd seen him trying to do that before, but it seemed like that was the first time he actually managed it.
After that, we had the grip strength test. I didn't get the best score, but I didn't get the worst either, so it wasn't a total loss. In the next test, the standing long jump, I managed to combine Air Aura with another air magic skill I'd made called Glide to get one of the higher distances. With the repeated side steps, I managed to another point of DEX mid-test, bringing me up to sixty. It wasn't much help, but I'd like to think it was what let me get the second-highest score, behind the short, grape-haired boy, Mineta.
I Like Big Butts and I Cannot Lie
LV 16
Mineta Minoru
He used his... sticky, yet bouncy hair ball Quirk... to bounce himself fast enough to get a ridiculously high score. I was impressed by his creativity, though that was immediately brought down by how much of a creep he was being toward the girls in our class... I do agree that almost everyone in our class was unfairly attractive, but he really shouldn't have been making those comments about the girls...
In the ball throw, I was amazed more by the fact that Aizawa-sensei's scoring app had an infinity symbol programmed into it than the fact that Uraraka managed to get it. Without gravity, the force she threw it with was certainly enough to get it into space, or, as the invisible girl, Hagakure, put it, "yeeted that ball into the sun!"
Achtung, Baby!
LV 20
Hagakure Tōru
I still wasn't sure how she could see if the light passed through her eyes... I asked her, but she wasn't any help at all.
Where was I? Oh, right, the ball toss. Eventually, it was my turn to throw the ball. I looked down at it, then looked across the ball toss field. I hadn't used One For All at all so far in the exam, but I decided I should probably use it at least once and I didn't see myself having any other opportunities to use it, at least not usefully. Air Aura and Speed Up alone would be enough for the distance run and the other ones... I doubted I could think of any way to actually use All Might's Quirk, or even my own powers for that matter, in them.
The earth-colored glow of Earth Aura engulfed my body, concentrated on my arm more than the rest of my body, and I carefully drew out the power of All For One so that it didn't affect any more of my body than necessary. Apparently I'd managed to bring the amount of One For All I used down to ninety-five percent, which actually really helped. I cocked back my arm as the glow of One For All mixed with my Earth Aura, and infused air mana into the ball in an attempt to make it fly farther. "LIMIT BREAK!" I shouted, then threw the ball as hard as I could. "BALL TOSS!" A blast of displaced air unbalanced me for a moment as the ball shot through the air like a cannon ball. I winced at the pain and saw that my HP took a bit of a hit, but was encouraged by the amazed reactions of my classmates. It was hard to believe that I was practically Quirkless a year ago... I shoved down the pain and turned my Healing Hands on myself as Aizawa showed us my score.
"Are you okay, Midoriya?" Aizawa-sensei asked me. "It's hard to believe that you can use such a powerful... 'attack' without any sort of backlash." He then looked down at my hands. "Also your hand is glowing."
"O-oh, ah, that... that just means I'm totally fine!" I lied.
Kacchan scoffed and I felt some minor impending doom. "Deku's lying, that's his healing spell."
Aizawa-sensei gave me an odd glare, then his eyes started to glow red, which I could only assume was his Quirk. It appeared as if the gravity around his head was somehow disrupted and I got a system message warning me that All For One was disabled. "Oh, you're Eraser Head, the Erasure Hero," I finally realized when I saw his trademark goggles. "I always thought your Quirk was really interesting." I then noticed that my mana was still working fine and only All For One was disabled, which was interesting.
"Just testing," he said, then blinked to deactivate his Quirk. "Report to the nurse's office when we're done here, Midoriya."
I gulped, then shook my head. "N-no, I can still go, my Quirk makes me really durable and Healing Hands takes care of the rest."
"It's because of your healing abilities that I want you to report to the nurse's office," he clarified. "Assuming you can use it on others, at least. Yuuei offers a special program for people with any kind of healing power that could eventually lead to you becoming a licensed Quirk healer, and I want you to talk to Recovery Girl about it, even if you end up not taking it."
"Right," I said.
"Hey, how'd your 'healing spell' thing stay on if Aizawa-sensei's Quirk disables other Quirks?" Kirishima asked.
I gulped. "A-ah, uhh, well, you see..." I didn't know if Aizawa-sensei knew about my magic or not, and if he did, whether or not he was okay with me telling the rest of the class... I looked at Aizawa-sensei for any sort of confirmation and he nodded. "I think it's that his Quirk only stops the Quirk Factor from working properly, so it didn't affect my Healing Hands, which is more of a spell..."
"What?"
"You can tell them more," Aizawa-sensei told me.
"Literal magic," Kacchan offered. "Deku here somehow managed to bumble his way into discovering actual, literal magic using his Quirk without realizing it, then I figured it out from his constant muttering, and now some government officials or something know about it. Don't worry, you guys won't get dragged off by some shady suits just for knowing, but they'd prefer it if how to use it doesn't get into the general public just yet. We are allowed to teach you guys, though." He looked at a classmate of ours with a raven head, Tokoyami, who looked like he was trembling with excitement. "Are you vibrating, Bird Face?"
Hello Darkness, My Old Friend
LV 22
Tokoyami Fumikage
"No," he somehow calmly denied, despite still vibrating. "How might one such as I learn to harness such power as that?"
Kacchan shrugged. "I don't know how you in particular would do it, but I figured out how to take the energy that I feel when I use my Quirk and use it for other shit. That stuff's called mana, and you use it to do magic. Don't know how you guys with Mutant Quirks work, so good luck with that. It's possible to make mana a particular element by concentrating on it, but I don't know if you can do that without an 'affinity' for it."
"I was planning on having them tell you that later, but it came up, so now you know. You're welcome to try using it for the last tests, but I doubt you'll figure it out," Aizawa-sensei said.
True to Aizawa-sensei's words, the rest of the exams were mostly uneventful, though Tokoyami and Hagakure managed to do something with dark and light magic in the long-distance run, which I thought was strange because I couldn't make any light or dark elemental affinity with Nature Affinity. Maybe they're just more esoteric or something. At the end of the physical exams, Aizawa-sensei pulled up a holoscreen with what appeared to be our rankings on it. "I ranked you from best to worst, not going to go over the rankings." Mineta screamed when he saw his name at the bottom, causing Aizawa to sigh. "Relax, Mineta. I was lying about expelling the lowest scorer. I'm not even allowed to do that anymore."
"Anymore?" about half the class asked.
"And even if I could and was going to, your performance in the repeated side steps combined with your... below-average height... making it more difficult for you to do some of the exams would have made me reconsider."
"It was to make sure we did our best, right?" a tall, black-haired girl who I definitely saw pulling something out of her body said.
Pure Imagination
LV 25
Yaoyorozu Momo
"Sure, let's go with that," Aizawa-sensei said in a way that made me feel like that was an afterthought. "Pick up a syllabus in the classroom. And I want to see you two, Midoriya and Bakugou. Just wanna get a good idea of what you can do."
xoxoxo
Kacchan and I walked out of the building when we were done. Aizawa-sensei just wanted us to write down what we could generally do that wasn't on our Quirk files, then asked me to teach him Hawkeye to see if it did anything with his Quirk. "We just finished our first day as students of Yuuei," I said. Ping. "Huh?"
"What's up, Deku?" Kacchan asked.
"I just got a title for surviving the first day of Yuuei," I explained, then checked it out. "Yuuei Student. It gives me ten percent extra HP and MP. Looks useful."
"Damn. Guess that means we're officially Yuuei students, eh Deku?"
"Hello, Bakugou and Midoriya," Iida said as he walked up to us. "I must admit I was quite surprised with your revelations, though I suppose I understand the reason why this hasn't been made public knowledge quit yet."
"Actually, it's not technically a secret, it's just that it's being researched more before any information about it becomes officially published," I told him. "So don't worry too much if you tell someone. In fact, I'm pretty sure the press conference is going to be sometime this month."
"It's so cool, though!" Uraraka said as she ran up. "I'm actually hoping that gravity's an element, because that would be awesome. Guess I'm gonna be meditating tonight!"
"Good luck!" I said. "I think there might be more complex elements than the ones I can use, so gravity might be possible. It'd probably be really cool to have gravity magic, plus there are a lot of possible uses for it."
We chatted for a while before parting ways. I even managed to teach Iida and Uraraka a few basic spells before they left.
xoxoxo
I decided to upgrade my mental stats after school. I really wanted to know what happened if I got either WIS or INT to one hundred. Not to mention, Meditation was almost to level one hundred, which felt like it was important. My skill with Meditation was up to a point where I could do it while walking and maintaining Elemental Aura and skills like it, though I still zoned out while doing it so it wasn't practical to use.
I still paced around in my room while meditating in the hope that that would slowly level up one of my physical stats. Plus, whenever I banged my toes on something it didn't hurt because of my Physical Endurance and contributed to leveling it. Eventually, I heard a ping and felt myself realize a new thing about my Meditation, an aspect of the energy flow I hadn't considered before.
A skill has been created through special action! The skill 'Enlightenment' has been created through Meditation reaching MAX level!
I grinned. Just like with Summon Basic Elemental and Summon Lesser Elemental, it looked like at least some of my skills could be upgraded if I maxed them out, though it seemed like anything aside from Summon Elemental would work more along the lines of giving me a new skill than upgrading an existing skill.
Enlightenment (Passive) LV1 EXP 0.00%
The goal of many great minds is to gain the power of enlightenment. This skill represents the nascent power of enlightenment, granting abilities beyonf one's wildest dreams.
Allows STR, VIT, DEX, and INT to be trained as with WIS by Meditation.
Grants more uses at higher skill level.
Unlike with Summon Basic Elemental, which leveled up rather fast even at higher levels, this skill felt like more than just a step up. Sure, it was just an upgrade to Meditation at the moment, which was literally what Summon Lesser Elemental was, but it literally stated that it'd grant me more abilities at a higher level. I tested it out to see how it works and noted that I could only train one attribute at a time, which I would have been disappointed with if not for the fact that it was still a ludicrous ability.
All in all, I felt pretty optimistic about my budding career as a hero.
xoxoxo
A/N: Don't know if you've noticed this yet, but I've decided by now to have any titles that don't have some basis in canon (i.e. hero titles) to be references to something. By the way, I have two things I'd appreciate input on:
1) If you've ever even looked in the general direction of my other fanfic, you might have reason to suspect that I don't think too highly of Mineta. If you do indeed think that, you'd be correct. Therefore, I have decided to write him out unless someone can convince me not to.
2) The reason why I have yet to give Midoriya a fire elemental is, simply put, I can't think of a fire-type Pokémon that I'd like to give him. So I'm outsourcing. Could you guys please do that for me?
And none of you can tell me that Aizawa's Quirk doesn't mess with gravity because that's definitely how he uses his capture tool (and by the way the reason why The Gamer was still working despite Aizawa using Erasure is that it's a Mutant Quirk).

Kinktober Day 16 - Olfactophilia (Scent Kink) | KiriBaku [My Hero Academia]
Kirishima loved caramel. The smell of it was comforting, but he wouldn't realize just why that was until years later.
IT'S STILL THE 16TH WHERE I AM which means it's still technically Kirishima's birthday!! And it's also still Day 16 of Kinktober. For this fic, I went with the prompt Olfactophilia (Scent Kink). Because who doesn't love that.
This is loosely based on and inspired by that one tweet from @BAKUGAG0: "If you think Bakugou’s smelly bec he’s sweaty then think again. Nitroglycerin actually smells like burnt sugar. In other words, bakugou actually has a caramel scent. Thank you for coming to my ted talk". Gotta give credit where it's due!
Not a commission, but I’m doing kinktober commissions all month! Info can be found here. Please check it out!

--
Kirishima loved caramel.
It was a recent sort of development, one that only came to the surface a few years ago. If he had to pinpoint an exact timeframe, he would say it began sometime shortly after he started at UA. He couldn't say what brought it on, other than the fact that the scent of it seemed to follow him. He'd catch a whiff of it in the dormitory hallways, in the classroom, in the cafeteria. He'd smell it wafting in the hallways on a rainy autumn day as Satou baked a cake; he'd catch Hagakure munching on chewy caramel candies when the girls would stay up late to study.
Eventually it stopped being a thing he really thought about. He'd catch the faintest trace of it in the air, he'd buy himself a box of the stuff, and he'd snack on it until the craving subsided. Something about the smell (and later, the taste) calmed him down, soothed him, made him feel like everything was going to be okay. That he was strong; that he was enough. It cheered him up, and slowly, that cheap box of caramels he'd get at the convenience store became his favourite snack and his go-to comfort food.
It wasn't until years later that he would realize what the real source of that comfort had been.
After graduating UA, Kirishima had been immediately accepted back into Fatgum's agency. He'd grown and developed into a headline-smashing hero worthy of his own agency long before the idea to do it had ever been planted in his head. Even once it had, he'd been reluctant to leave Fatgum's place, but he'd gone specifically because his mentor had told him it was time for him to break out of others' shadows.
So he did.
As soon as he'd left the office for the last time, Kirishima texted Bakugou to ask if he'd join him for post-patrol dinner. The response had been an immediate affirmative, and they had met up at Bakugou's favourite curry place an hour later.
"So what's this really about?" Bakugou asked, two bites into their meal.
Kirishima put down his chopsticks. "Huh?"
"Don't play dumb with me." Bakugou jabbed at Kirishima's chest with one finger, much more forcefully than was probably necessary. "You look like you're about to fuckin' explode, and you only ever get that look when you have something big to say. Just spit it out already."
Kirishima grinned and, in one breath, said, "IleftFatgum'splaceandIwanttostartmyownheroagency!"
Miraculously, Bakugou somehow managed to pick up on everything he'd just blurted out. "You idiot," he said. "You don't know shit about running your own agency."
"No, but I thought you might," Kirishima said. He extended his hand to Bakugou. "So what d'you think? Want to open up our own agency?"
After a moment of the latter staring him down angrily (no doubt pissed he'd managed to let Kirishima pull one over on him so easily), Bakugou snarled. The frown on his face twisted into a manic smirk -- the kind he only got when he was out-and-out excited about something -- and he slammed his hand into Kirishima's.
"My name comes first."
"Deal."
They finished their meal, but opted to skip the celebratory drinks. Instead, they celebrated the night with Kirishima slamming Bakugou against the wall of his apartment and kissing him like his life depended on it.
It wasn't their first kiss. Not by a long shot -- they had danced around their mutual feelings for years, each one aware of how the other felt but refusing to act on it outside of the occasional kiss or the even more occasional hookup. Neither wanted to risk the press finding out so early into their careers; or worse, villains catching wind and using a potential relationship against them. Kirishima had no doubt that if something happened to him, Bakugou would make sure there was hell to pay, but they didn't need to amplify that risk by being public about their feelings.
But now that they were going to be working together...
Well, that was a thought for later, after Kirishima had finished pounding Bakugou into the mattress. For the time being, all he cared about was the taste of Bakugou's tongue in his mouth, the press of a firm, muscled chest against his own, and the scent of caramel surrounding--
“Wait.”
Kirishima broke the kiss, leaving Bakugou heaving. The blond grit his teeth and glared, though the anger was somewhat lost among the blush blooming across his face and neck. "Why did you stop?!"
"D'you smell that?" Kirishima asked. He inhaled deeply, letting his eyes flutter closed as the tension quickly melted out of his body and evaporated. "Smells like caramel."
He didn't see Bakugou's eye twitch, but he did feel the hand in his hair yanking his head backwards. "Ow! Hey--"
"That's fucking me," Bakugou growled. "Are you seriously telling me that we've spent all this time together and you're just now realizing what my goddamn sweat smells like?"
"No, I... That's..."
Kirishima stopped. He couldn't come up with a decent rebuttal, because now that he had a chance to actually think about it, he realized Bakugou was right. All those times in the locker rooms, at the gym, at UA in the dorms and in class and during training...
"You've got to be kidding me." Bakugou let go of Kirishima and punched him in the shoulder. "You really are an idiot, you know that?"
Kirishima didn't respond. It all made sense now: all those times he'd been comforted by the smell of caramel, all those times opening a new box of candy would make him think of kisses stolen in the changing rooms when nobody was around...
He pushed Bakugou further into the wall. "Hey, Katsuki? I'm going to fucking ravish you."
He didn't give Bakugou a chance to respond. Kirishima just dove in and crushed their lips together. It was messy and inelegant and almost painful with how ferocious the motion was, but it was worth it for the absolutely filthy guttural moan he ripped from Bakugou's throat.
Kirishima grabbed his partner -- his partner! -- by the shoulders and dragged him into his bedroom. He never once broke the kiss, not even when he paused to tear his shirt off. Not that Bakugou would let him break it for any reason other than getting thrown down onto the bed.
He landed with a soft grunt, and in an instant Kirishima was on him again, slotting himself between Bakugou's thighs and grinding their hips together. He was already so hard, and Bakugou was halfway there himself, which just spurred him on further.
He buried his face in Bakugou's neck, kissing a line up and down the sensitive stretch of skin and inhaling deeply as he went. Bakugou was sweating already, a bead of it trickling down from behind his ear, and as it ran Kirishima followed it with his nose, greedily drinking in the scent.
His cock twitched. Bakugou must have felt it, because he ground down against it harder, rotating his hips to try and find just the right angle. But Kirishima stopped him, held his hips still, and pushed him away.
"What the hell," Bakugou growled. His fingers clenched in the comforter. "I thought you said you were going to ravish me."
"I am," Kirishima said, voice low and husky. "But I can't do that if you don't take your pants off, can I?"
He hooked his fingers in the waistbands of Bakugou's pants and boxers and tugged them off his hips. In an effort to help Kirishima get them off faster, Bakugou tried to kick them off, but all he really did was nearly kick Kirishima in the face.
"Be patient, man," Kirishima chided. "I'll only be a sec."
"Too long."
Bakugou sat up and lunged forward to grab Kirishima by the hips. He practically tore the pants off him, and though normally Kirishima would have said something, this time he was cut off before the words could even form in his head by another deep, hungry kiss. So fierce was the kiss, so tight was Bakugou's grip on the back of his head that Kirishima could hardly breathe. But he had to, had to --
He inhaled through his nose, breath stuttered and shallow, but it was just enough to flood his nostrils with the sweet, sweet scent of caramel once more. The wonderful overwhelming scent of Bakugou.
Bakugou yanked him away, finally giving him the space to fill his lungs, but Kirishima whined at the loss. How could he care about something so stupid as breathing when Bakugou smelled so good--?
He wasn't left wanting for long. Bakugou pushed his head down so that soon Kirishima found himself with his lips half an inch away from his best friend's dick. He opened his mouth instinctively, not even waiting for the command he knew was coming ("Well? Get to fucking work."), because he knew in the back of his lust-addled mind that the sooner he went down on Bakugou, the sooner he could lose himself in his scent again.
And he did. He took Bakugou in all the way to the back of his throat and buried his nose in the hair at the base of his cock, inhaling so deeply he started to feel lightheaded. It was only when he felt Bakugou take him by the hair again and force him to move that Kirishima began to properly blow his friend.
Once he (somewhat) regained his presence of mind, he grabbed Bakugou by the hips and forced him back in as deep as he could go, fighting his gag reflex and swallowing around the head as it hit his throat. He heard Bakugou whine above him, felt him thrash under his grip, but Kirishima didn't back off until he was satisfied. And once he was, he came off all at once, leaving Bakugou to whine in a way that was so unlike him it was almost jarring.
Almost. But it was way too hot to be anything but satisfying.
Kirishima got up, ignoring Bakugou cursing him out for stopping again, and retrieved a bottle of lube and a condom from his bedside drawer. He made quick work of stretching Bakugou out and preparing himself, knowing they were both too impatient to properly drag things out. That was just how it was for them: they both liked it fast, hard, and just a little bit rough.
Before Kirishima could even finish slicking himself up, Bakugou pushed himself onto the redhead's cock. He wrapped his legs around Kirishima's waist and reached up to pull him down into a kiss, less insistent and hungry than the last but twice as messy and desperate.
Kirishima scooped Bakugou up in his arms and held him close as he began to slowly rock in and out of him. He could feel the sticky-slick sheen of sweat coating Bakugou's chest (when had the blond taken off his shirt?) against his own skin, which meant that once again that perfect, perfect scent flooded his senses. Kirishima groaned and deepened the kiss, but a moment later he pulled away so he could nuzzle into Bakugou's neck, right at the nape where his hairline ended.
"Fuck, Katsuki, you smell go good," he whispered, not even totally aware he was speaking out loud. "How the hell did I not notice--"
"Shut up, you're ruining it," Bakugou spat, but his voice was so strained and high-pitched the usual fire behind it was all but lost. It made Kirishima laugh, but just as Bakugou asked, he said no more.
Instead, he focused entirely on the way Bakugou felt around him and under him. Tight, hot, slick; warm, sticky, sweet. Like caramel. If he could only taste--
He flicked his tongue out, but before he could get a proper taste, Kirishima felt Bakugou yank him by the hair again, pulling him only halfway out of his reverie. "Don't do that," he hissed. "Shit's not good for you."
"Mm... 'kay," Kirishima said, too lost in sensation to really comprehend what he was saying. But if it made his Katsuki happy...
He leaned forward and laid Bakugou back down against the bed properly. They were still so close to each other, chests pressed so tightly that it was hard to tell whose heartbeat was whose, but Kirishima was okay with that; he wanted nothing more than to completely envelop himself in Bakugou, to forget where he ended and where his best friend began.
It wasn't hard. They tangled each other up in their arms, clawed at each other's backs desperately, rolled their hips together and apart in time. They were in perfect sync, Kirishima hitting all the right spots and Bakugou clenching down around him just right...
Kirishima came first, unable to hold himself back. He emptied himself into Bakugou with a groan, the haze in his mind so thick he almost didn't realize he’d finished. It wasn’t until he felt something wet splash between them that he came to his senses and was finally pulled back to the realm of cognizance.
Slowly, he uncurled himself from around Bakugou, and when they were finally far enough apart that Kirishima could smile down at him, he found his friend -- his partner, his lover – smiling back up at him hazily.
"All that over some fucking nitroglycerin," he said. "You really are the biggest dork."
Weak as the insult was, Kirishima knew that meant the intent behind it was nothing but warm and affectionate. "Yeah, but you love it."
Bakugou leaned up and kissed him, masking his laughter with his words.
"Yeah. I guess I do."

Jack says "ignored YOUR rule". Does that mean it's something Bakugou obligates himself not to have or something non of them can have? I'm actually curious 🤔
It’s actually a rule Bakugou put down for himself for a number of reasons, half related to his own safety and the safety of the person he’s dating, the other half to the fact that Bakugou hates lying, but (again for safety reasons) he can’t just go around telling everyone what he’s doing - he doesn’t want a relationship in which he’d just contantly lie to his partner and ditch them for vigilante work without being able to explain them what’s going on, so he put down the rule as soon as he decided he wanted to do this. Well, he hadn’t been interested in relationships anyway before Kirishima, so it was an easy decision to take at the time - now though...
Ahhhh if only he figured out Kiri and Red are the same person smh that’d make everything so much easier on him
Anon said:When you draw Jiro and Bakugo having platonic hugs and cuddles my bi heart becomes incredibly soft THANK YOUUUUUUU
I’M HAPPY TO HEAR THAT cause honestly that’s as self-indulgent as I go hahaha
Anon said:The vigilante au is so far sad but I could totally see it going in a miraculous ladybug kinda direction. What if they tried putting distance between themselves and suddenly found that they're falling again, for the vigilante forms this time because "oh sh*t he's cute in every way Kirishima is" and "He's just my type too, Bakugou-- *sigh* I could use some moving on from him." Or only Kirishima moves to vigilante!Baku but he remains stuck on kiri..//Or what if like, vigilante! Kiribaku are about to get caught by a hero and Kirishima opens up about his last regret of not getting to see his crush one last time after they set distance between themselves, while Bakugou listens and...
That’s!!!! a lot of ideas you got there hahaha I’m glad you’re having fun with the concept!!!!!!
Anon said:That vigilante au is amazing. You really express emotions well in comics.
AAAAAHHHHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH that!!!! honestly means the world to me *sob*
Anon said:I just want to say you're really cool and I like you art uh- K bye
Thank!!!!!!!!!!! YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anon said:Oh damn. I think i fall in love for your Vigilantes AU. Please don't stop. I really love it❤️
I mean, as long as you guys are okay with it being a bit all over the place and also being just pencil doodles, then I got no problems doing that right now haha thank you for liking it!!
Anon said:I love your vigilantes AU so much 😍😍😍😍
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anon said:LET THEM BE HAPPY !!!!
THAT’S THE PLAN!!!!!!!!!
Anon said:May I ask how you draw bakugous hair so well?? I just can’t seem to get the right amount of poof (or should I say BOOM💥 )
oHO I’m glad you like it cause actually the answer is I spent two years drawing it nearly daily and I finally sorta reached a place when I guess I’m okay with how I draw it lol some time ago I drew a step by step for it? but by now my process is mostly “do whatever and hope for the best”, which incidently is also my process in drawing Kirishima’s hair lmao
Anon said:Im a bit confused with the vigilante kiri, does he have black hair in his civilian form and red in his hero form?
YEH it’s one of the reasons why Bakugou still hasn’t figured out Red is Kiri haha thought if you’re asking for the logistics of that, I can’t say I spent too long thinking about it? We can always call it temporary hair dye spry or something like that, but to be fair it’s not like it matters all that much lmao I just needed Baku to be unable to tell it was him easily haha
Anon said:I love ur gem Au! :D are you gonna make more? Its okay if not :)
As I’ve said literally every single time I’ve answered asks since I posted it, MAYBE yes! The thing about that AU is that I love it and I have fun with it, but posting it ended up being the biggest mistake I’ve ever made, so honestly I don’t know when I’m gonna draw it if I’ll draw it, but the possibility is there
Anon said:Hello! I just wanted to say I have love reading your comics and your art is amazing-- but I especially love your vigilantes AU! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!!!
HECK thank you!!!! I’m so happy you’re enjoying it ;O;
Anon said:Why must you hurt us? I started crying at that vigilante au comic..
*passes u a blanket* I’ll try not to make it as sad in the future!
Anon said:Hi! I've purchased the take my hand book about a month ago, just wondering how long it takes for it to be delivered??? BTW I live in NZ so I understand if it takes a while~
Heck sorry anon but I’m so not good with dates, you should check the @takemyhandzine blog for that sorta stuff! Thank you so much for buying it tho!!!! ;O;
Anon said:Is Nico a cinnamon roll or a sinnamon roll?
That......... depends a lot on who you ask :0
Anon said:I love bnha more and more with every new character out. All that's left is to ask, which minor character is currently your favorite? (***That isn't from UA because that is a much bigger dilemma)
oUCH it would have been easier picking from UA actually since I’m pretty sure Amajiki is it hahaha well, if I can’t pick from UA...................... you know what, probably Shishikura
Anon said:Bakujiro friendship is something I didn’t know I NEEDED. U do good work bro
I’M SO GLAD YOU CAN GET BEHIND THAT!!!!!
Anon said:Your art gives me life!!! Every time you post is just so unique in every way :00000 ❤️ anyway i just wanted to let you know that you’re inspiring in every way and that I absolutely adore your kiribaku art to the moon and back!!!
SOB thank you so much???? You’re so sweet!!!! ;O;
Anon said:FRAN!!! YOUR LATEST KIRIBAKU ART KILLED ME (in a good way) HONESTLY YOU IMPROVED SO MUCH SINCE I FIRST STARTED FOLLOWING YOU, IT MOTIVATES ME TO KEEP DRAWING!! THANK YOU
HELL ANON THANK YOU SO MUCH I’M SO GLAD MY FUMBLING AROUND IN THE ART WORLD IS INSPIRING FOR YOU ???? LET’S BOTH KEEP DOING OUR BEST!!!!!
Anon said:fran you could convince me to ship anything with one (1) drawing
Since I got this ask I’ve been trying to find the most outrageous ship just to draw it and test this theory.......... I still haven’t found something outrageous enough but.... soon
Anon said:Hi your art is amazing also beautiful As you probably might know there is a traitor in the show, if you didn't know well then im sorry for spoiling. May I request a traitor kirishima
nnnnnnnggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sorry anon but the traitor theory arts are stuff I just can’t get behind, mostly so if it’s my fav characters - I don’t find it credible and I don’t find any joy in dwelling in the idea, so I got zero motivation to draw for it orz
Anon said:I can't believe you made me read the phrase "startle and explosion out of baku". (Yay for the vigilantes AU!)
LMAO he’s actually trying to do just that tho, maybe I’ll draw it hahaha
Anon said:Please! I need more BakuKiriKami fan art! I’m gunna die without it!
Anon I’m gonna be very real with you here my first reaction to reading this ask was thinking “then perish”
Anon said:Hello! I don't know if you've gotten this question before but have you ever considered drawing the villains?
I’ve drawn Dabi and Twice in the past! I’m not really much intereste in any other villain atm tho so I doubt I’m gonna be drawing them any time soon ^^’’
Anon said:You are by far my favorite artist. Your Kiribaku gives life to my bleak exsistence. Thank you. I bought some of your things of redbubble to make me happy!
AHHHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anon said:Hello! I'm a big fan of your work and your kiribaku fluff especially, and I've been working on a (not so innocent) fic about Bakugou having burnt marshmallow smelling and tasting sweat, (funny how nitroglycerin is a natural lubricant, tastes and smells like burnt sugar, and is explosive) just wanted to know if you ever thought about it? also wanted to know if you'd like to read my finished fic, should be done real soon and it would mean a lot to know what you think about it!
Anon I’m so sorry but I really can’t say yes to this - especially because you said it means a lot to you, you’re putting me in a spot here where in case I didn’t like it I wouldn’t be able to tell you so anyway (and I generally don’t like talking about fancontent I don’t give a 10/10 to anyway, it’s too rude for me) and I’m sure it’s gonna be a great fic! But by the way you talked about it it’s gonna be a nsfw fic and I really rarely like those fics, so !!! orz I’m sorry, but this is a really uncomfortable request for me ;;;
Anon said:Can I use your art real quick if I hard out credit u? It's alright if I can't
Nope, sorry
Anon said:Could you draw another doodle of Setsuna?. I love how you draw her jfvdkd ;;v;; (Sorry if my English is trash.)
Not right now, but in the future yeah sure, I love her!
Anon said:Your Kirishima is so beautiful i fucking cry omg ;-; thank you for brightening my morning.
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; thank you for liking how I draw him !!!!
Anon said:💛💛💛💛 Thank you for sharing your art, it always makes my day
Thank YOU for liking it!!!!!
Anon said:In your SU AU what if a gem offers to replace Kiri with a 'newer, better pearl'? How would Bakugo react?
Actually, Kiri was given to Bakugou specifically because he’s sorta defective, it was punishment for both of them that sorta backfired lmao
Anon said:hi there! I'm new to your blog and I love your art style immensely! I saw somewhere with your latest seroroki post that you're still finding your main todoship; I hope I dont sound rude or pushy, but can I ask your opinions about todo*aku and/or tod*kir*baku? If not, thank you for your time! Keep up the great work!!
Still not completely sold on romantic tdbk tbh (platonic tho, that’s my jam) but I’ve been real into the ot3 lately!!! It just can’t be my main todo ship bc I still prefer krbk too much over it haha
Anon said:I loveeee your art, especially your kiribaku stuff! But consider! Size difference! What if Kirishima grows a lot but our lil' Baku doesn't? Does he get jealous or does he really like it? There'd be some epic hugs/kisses! What if he secretly loves getting picked up by Kirishima? XD
Oh that’s an hc I see around a lot! Personally I stil prefer them sorta the same size tho ???? with the only difference being Baku being lithe and Kiri being a tank, I think it has to do with the whole “complementary equals” theme they have going on, I like for it to be visually represented too ??? maybe, I had never really thought about the hows or whys of this preference tbh lmao
Anon said:Hey so I'm not up to date with BNHA but in your asks there was a thing about dragon boy having a zombie costume? I had another look at what I think is the right doodle and to me it looks like a Chinese vampire costume! (unless that's not the one you guys were talking about oops)
Nope that’s him, and you’re right!!! Either way my boy still hasn’t done anything worth of note, so I still don’t know why he’s dressed like that orz Hori plssss

anime review: boku no hero academia
not gunna lie.. i shit talked the Hell out of my hero. like sooo much shit. i claimed it wasn’t worth the hype that it was lame, bad plot, etc. all b4 actually watching it like a dumbass. oh , how Wrong i was. my hero for anyone new or old to anime is well known and is very big especially for the incredible character design. my hero gets alot of hype and i do thinks its for a reason. shonen anime is probably the most popular and is where the most popular franchises are born aka naruto, one piece, and dbz. and my hero is at the front running for being this generations leader in shonen. although this is not an anime that i cant find faults in , i can find quite a few but this is one of my favorite animes and is definitely worth the watch, now lets get into it.
this shonen like many is about the underdog who can! when 80% of the population has some sort of super human ability known as a quirk izuku midoriya is in minority 20% of people in superhuman society that do not have a quirk. and with the birth of the superhuman powers came the rise of a new profession, heroism. in which people with quirks get licenses to use them to save people. it’s sorta like how kids now wanna be youtubers well thats what being a hero is in this anime. of course midoriya wants to be a hero just like his idol All Might the #1 hero and pillar of peace.
in order to do that he must get into the top hero school in Japan, U.A Academy. with an acceptance rate of less then 2% (or 0.2% i genuinely cannot remember lol) . midoriya is the classic meek bullied kid being pushed around by childhood friends kaksuki bakugou who is loud, angry, and LOUD, and also wants to be a hero. his quirk is explosions that he creates from his palms with his nitroglycerin like sweat.
one day midoriya gets to meet his idol and the series kicks off. midoriyas journey in getting into U.A, viallian attacks, sports festivals., interships, training camps and more!
now midoriya as a main character grew on me. truth me told the first 5 episodes of my hero are Painful to get through, they made me cringe and midoriya cries about 5 times in one 20 minute episode which is exhausting. personally my favorite type of shonen anime protagonist are himbos , aka dumb sunshines. midoriya is not this he’s actually incrediblely smart but he’s so meek it’s annoying and for a while I thought he was the worst choice for protagonist especially with how amazing the side characters are, but he grows on you and it makes sense why he is the way he is and his character development is good. he grows much more confident and sure of himself. he has that naruto talk-no-jutsu vibe about him lol. but overall he’s good, not my favorite character by anymeans in fact i doubt he’d be in my top 5 in this series.
NOW FOR THE BEST PART ABOUT MY HERO; SIDE CHARACTERS (now i am only a mortal so i will only be talking about characters that stand out and add something to the show aka invisible girl is not mentioned neither is tail boy)
bakugou!!!! listen, he is a piece of work. and honestly it took me till season 2 to actually like and enjoy his character. he’s defently different from the normal angry anime boy because he has Zero reason to be angry which sorta adds to the comedy of the show. hes weathly, has two good parents, hes liked and popular despite being somewhat nasty, and he has a cool ass quirk along with being a prodigy at basically everything. his inferiority complex is what he battles the entire show I do feel like his character development was a little too slow, they could moved it along a little bit and not held onto how angry he was for absolutely no reason but again it kind of adds to the charm his character. his design is so beautiful the blonde hair the red eyes he’s great and hes my second fave character. his anger is toward mostly midoriya toward most people hes just loud but he really has a problem with midoriya. a problem he lowkey made up in his head but overall bakugou is a strong character and a different type of hero, he’s the opposite of all might in everyway.
TODOROKI!!!!!! if you dont know who todoroki is and you somewhat watch anime or see anime content on your social media, you are lying. his character design is super well known and is honestly beautiful he’s literally breath taking. speaking of character design let’s leave the Zuko versus Todoroki discord somewhere else I just don’t care let’s leave it alone they both have scars and daddy issues big whoop! they would literally be bffs move on. now that thats out of the way, todoroki is phenomenal, he’s the more silent type but not tsundere at all. we dont see alot of him in season 1 but mainly in season 2, he’s the son of the #2 hero endeavor who despite being a hero is human garbage! his quirk is half cold half hot. essentially he has two quirks one creating ice from the right side of his body and create flames from his left (the coolest and most versatile quirk in the series) his hatred towards his father makes him unwilling to use his fire side. but he gets over it! todoroki i feel definitely got snubbed , i feel like the dimmed him down because of how easily he could overshadow midoriya and honestly my hero could have easily been about todoroki and his journey discovering what kind of hero he wants to be thats how good he is. I cried 4 times during his battle with midoriya. i love todoroki and he is my fave character of the series.
Kirishima!!!!!! his quirk his hardening, he makes his whole body rock hard. i adore kirishima hes is so wonderful as a side character. we really see him shine in s4 during his work study and i love that especially since he was often pushed to the side. he’s also the first person bakugou acknowledes as an equal and friend. his backstory and motivation is really touching and his character design is so fun !! i love sharp teeth boi’s!!!!! and also i dont know they made him so obsessed with being chivalrous and manly but not a misogynist that is like so hard to do and they did it so well. and the fact that his motivation to keep going is a woman and someone who he respects was also so cool. also his hero custome is so cool. he said full chest out !!
mineta, now this is a character that literally everyone hates and granted he’s not my favorite character not even close but I don’t think he’s that bad. He’s the classic pervert classic girl obsessed character. His quirk is literally detaching sticky balls from his head he’s gross but I don’t mind him like all he does is talk like they have an anime character is a straight up harass women which he does sometimes but I don’t know I just don’t get why hes so hated when there are tons of similar character types like him that are worse that don’t get that much hate like I’m not defending him he’s gross but it’s not terrible and he provides comedic relief which is not always funny but it’s there
kaminari! cute shock boy! hes a more digestible and attractive version of mineta, slightly girl crazy but hes fun! hes also friends with bakugou and his quirk electricity but if he over uses it he gives himself brain damage and turns dumb. again hes more often then not pushed aside but hes funny and his personality is awesome and bright.
Iida, someone im kinda lukewarm about? he’s definitely a major side character and gets his own huge moments and out of all the side characters gets alot of screen time. his quirk is engine legs that make him super fast. hes a stick up his ass class rep but he’s nice and way more likeable after the first few episodes
ochaco.....um. shes ok ig, her quirk is making these float. has a crush on midoriya which is fine even though she looks his she could be his cousin dndjd. idk i dont love her type of preppy i wanna be like my crush character type, hinata does it better. but shes ok again lukewarm about her, i definitely like some of the other female characters better but shes not awful. again most shonen animes use female characters as prop to further the male protagonist character along. idk i jus dont like her personality.
froppy!!!! tsu!!! i adore you ! would d word for you!!! i love her so much shes such a cool character and she doesn’t fit into a box in terms of character type. her quirk is frog meaning she can do everything a frog can do. she’s so level headed and smart and witty she really adds something everytime she comes on. she’s just so chill i really appreciate that.
jiro!!! wonderfully talented queen! her quirk is earphone jack! shes just so again chilled and laid back but also super smart and perceptive. sorta tomboyish which is really cool 2 see a different look for a female character.
yayorozu!!!!! my favorite female characters of the show. her quirk is creation, she makes anything she wants as long as she knows the structure. its dope af. shes so smart and responsible and has an awesome sense of self improvement. i do believe in eating the rich but i still love her. shes a natural leader which i love to see and i think she should have been class rep but as always, men have to be in postions of power ...
tetsutetsu!!!!! the only person in class b with rights. hes kind of like kirishimas counter part, he also has a hardening quirk which makes his body into steele. hes jus so Funny and loud and i wish he was in class 1 a he’d be so good. he brings alot of energy and his fight with kirishima was so fun to watch.
miro, again. someone i shit talked b4 seeing what they were about. i honestly thought miro was going to have some evil agenda against my midoriya but he didn’t he was so good so bright his quirk is so cool it’s permeation meaning he can like walk through walls and stuff he’s so cool!!
tamaki!!!!!!!!! I ADORE HIM! SO MUCH!! hes so shy and insecure but wtf so badass with an amazing quirk called manifest meaning he can manifest on his body the different types of food he eats like he eats octopus he gets tentacle arms which means he basically has like an unlimited number of quirks??!! so dope and his character design is so sexy hes my bf
shinso, now his design is very good he reminds me alot of aizawa, and his quirk is insane and i dont know how people like invisible girl, tail guy, fucking mineta got into the hero course but someone like shinso with a brainwashing quirk didn’t, all someone has to do is answer his question and their under his control, literally so useful. he’s a really hyped up character which I find interesting because in the anime manga people don’t come for me he isn’t really showcased which is really annoying because he’s cool and I get what the hype is about but I just wish we saw more of him I think there is in the actual manga but in the anime he makes like two appearances??
AIZAWA!!! hes so ,, hot, idc him a bun forget it.. im .. his quirk... SO DOPE I MEAN TO BE ABLE TO ERASE SOMEONE QUIRK,,? dope af, his tsundere with more dere then anything hes so sweet and genuinely loves his class So Much, they are his babies. his character is super genuine and its so fun to see him and someone like all might working along side eachother just because they are such different people. aizawa is definitely my third favorite character
all might!!! the big man himself! honestly all might is what superman wishes he was, he is just so Nice and caring and just wants to help people thats all he wants to do, hes the only person deemed worthy by stain. he plays such a huge role in the series in a way a mentor/idol really never has 4 me. i love his other version as well its so well designed to be such a contrast to his muscle form.
stain, the best villain on the show, most complex and truly thought provoking and just all in all they did such a good job with his character design and his motives the stain arc was my favorite in terms of villains because my hero really kind of lacks in villians and sure the league does get better but stain has the most like convincing argument and morals like the concept that he wants to purge the fake heroes of the society away is just fascinating because society in the series so overpopulated with heros and just ugh such a good villain and his quirk,, crazy being to paralyze people by tasting their blood wild
dabi!!! aka todorokis brother (thats not a spoiler jus a fan theory that i wholeheartedly believe) his quirk is cremation which he basically has such hot fire that it jus turns everything to ash. aka his character design being him with burns, his body most likely can’t fully handle his quirk. hes so hot ugh literally come on emo boy! but really hes a cool villain and works for the League. I wish we saw more of him which I know in season 4 like toward the end he makes a pretty big appearance but after training camp we don’t see him as much as I wish we did and he’s super famous hyped up character again because his design is so dope. he’d be a good anti hero.
shigaraki!!! he’s actually my fourth favorite character.... you guys ever have that one character that one think most likely thinks is hot, but you do. YES HES CRUSTY BUT STILL SEXY GAMER. if i could just give him a skincare routine...His character is one that got probably the most development I mean we see this bratty childish kind of loser in season one in in season for a re-really see a masterminded plan from him and something truly thought out because I feel like a lot of his plans aren’t thought through and this is one of the first ones that I see truly come to fruition the way he wanted to. I really appreciate that from a villain who can grow because he wasn’t a very convincing villian and he had no motivation to do what he was doing and just seem like a dumb kid but like now after watching him grow he’s really coming into his own and for season five I want to see him continue that growth he’s having.
OK IM SO SORRY THE SIDE CHARACTERS TOOK 80 YEARS THERE ARE SO MANY
now onto my critiques these are MY opinions which literally don’t matter the author/artist is incredible and knows what they’re doing and they don’t have to cater to what I want at all this is just how I thought while watching the anime.
I feel like midoriya is a character that can’t really shine on his. I feel like side characters need to be pushed down and snubbed for him to look cool. and in general I just feel like because of the personality that he has as a main character he kind of struggles to shine unless they dim the light of the other characters because especially in season four midoriya is just constantly pushed and pushed as this end all be all if feels which OK he’s the main character but like was it realistic for some of the things that happen in season four to happen I don’t wanna spoil but if you watched it you know like who defeated who and so on. at least to me sometimes it’s really obvious that they’re pushing for you to have that midoriya is so cool reaction which just seems forced.
I mention this in some of the side character villains but my hero really doesn’t have like super compelling villains with proper reasoning to what they’re doing or maybe we just haven’t seen that yet in the anime but for me the only good villain the whole series was stain. sure the league of villains gets better but they’re seen as a joke for most of the series at least to me like I didn’t really take them seriously just them minus all for one. I feel like they have these major villains but only see them once especially with all for one we saw him once and then if you watch the my hero movie he’s like there for 2.2 seconds as a major plot point but him physically as a villain but I see him once in action and even so I still think stain is a better villain and notice how I’m not mentioning overhaul in this conversation. there was just something beyond villainious about overhaul especially the child abuse. and again he’s someone who was spoiler alert defeated and in one shot kind of way it only took half the season and if you compare him and his organization to the league their miles ahead of the League so why did they get defeated first it just kind of didn’t make sense to me.
I was sort of annoyed when the big three got introduced for my side character analysis I praised two out of the three of them and I love the third member she is incredible and a bad ass I just couldn’t write any more about side characters or else this will never end but did we need the introduction of more students when there are so many in class 1a themselves that just don’t get the light of day especially in season four with Todoroki and Bakugou being absent for most of it.
endeavor doesn’t deserve redemption arc that’s what they’re setting up for now i don’t want it he’s gross he’s a domestic abuser he’s a child beater he’s a child neglecter. he’s gross and I don’t understand how this hasn’t been exposed to the public about how the number one hero beat his wife and kids how we just not know that.
I mentioned this with bakugous character review but I feel like his development was just so agonizingly slow for no reason because it wasn’t this deep-rooted issue it was something he misinterpreted and created this fake narrative in his head about midoriya. and even after they have that big fight and acknowledge each other I feel like there’s still something missing which bothers me because there is no reason one it should’ve taken four seasons when Todoroki‘s deep-rooted issues were solved in a couple episodes basically.
I feel like the series attempted to add romance and then gave up which I think was a smart move just because at the moment there isn’t really a place for it and this is coming from someone who adores romance in anime and I thrive off it but in my hero specifically especially the way they were going to do it with Ocacho was just not it and I really hope they don’t reduce her character even more to just pining over the male protagonist because I’ll be sad because even though I’m not crazy for her I still think she’s a solid character who I don’t want to become just a propeller for character development for the sake of the male protagonist.
things i love!!
the animation is beautiful, it’s so unique and different and just feels really fresh. you can clearly see the movements and can we talk about how well they draw hands? got tier anime hands.
the fighting was the Best ive ever seen in terms of timing, most shonen animes can drag on battles for many many episodes especially dbz, it honestly feels tiring and i love the my hero has the Perfect length to i get all the action and never feel bored or over it. I also enjoy that the anime wasn’t super fillery, and when there was it wasn’t that noticeable that it wasn’t canon.
how everyone is friends really makes me happy especially to see midoriya be so loved and respected by his peers, and everyone views him as an inspiration. to know he was bullied and hated by his class in middle school to in high school having everyone love him enough to make him class rep at first. which I am so glad he stepped down from because it was lowkey cringe that he won djdj.
how rivalry is done is nice because its not a huge major thing, sure everyone is competitive but its friendly and motivating. its not cutthroat.
the dub is really good, ik people shit on dub which is fair. but sometimes the dub hits and there are moments when you wanna watch anime but you have stuff to do so you can’t solely focus on the screen. personally i don’t know why but i had a hard time getting into my hero with sub and had to watch it dub. but if you do like dubbed anime then the my hero dub is solid im sure certain things are said cooler in the sub than dub (aka hqs “dont let me down fellas alright?” jdjdxjxj) but it is a funimation dub which are almost always decent.
the structure of society and the information we get told about heros and the job are soo well done. I feel like I really understand the setting which in fanatasy animes can be somewhat difficult, and everything makes sense and is really normal. they do such a good job making being a hero a normal thing, especially since heroism especially in the western comics is viewed as this big deal that not everyone can do while in my hero its the opposite. i love that.
midoriyas not give up attitude is really endearing, sure most shonen protagonist have this but especially with midoriya being the Biggest underdog to the point where he ruins his body over and over again and still keeps moving. a moments i genuinely loved midoriyas character and fell for him completely was during training camp, when he fight smuscular and still keeps moving despite being Ruined. it’s my favorite right after stains.
i love seeing them train! ik the actual villains are exciting but things like training camp and the creating special moves moment were my favorite.
-
Overall;
i love my hero, it’s quickly made its way to my favorite animes of all time, the characters, plot, and motivations are so good. it’s an anime that makes me feel like I can do anything i set my mind to. I enjoy the fact that it’s an anime that like I feel like there can be a discussion and not one over about whether it’s good or bad because it’s definitely good but more in how things are done the reason things were done how things could’ve been done differently there’s a lot to talk about and I feel like this is a very unique thing because I think with a lot of anime everything is so set in stone and if things were done a different way and it wouldn’t work with my hero there are so many ways things would go which I love. and I also love that there are things that I don’t like about it or that I’m not crazy about and for some reason that makes me like it even more because I feel like again back to the discussion point there’s so much to talk about especially on like Reddit where you can see what other people think and if you’re wrong if you’re right it doesn’t really matter because I think today this is just anime! give it a watch if you are curious you wont regret it!

HEADCANONS
tagged by: honestly no one i just found this & wanted to do it. tagging: also no one. if you want to do this. do it && tag me.
fave/least faves;
music genre: bakugou is really into angry emo/rock music. but also classical. his least favorite is probably country.
movie genre: acTION. he also enjoys crime dramas, &&& just straight dramas. he likes sci-fi/geeky movies as well. his least favorite movies are suspense/thrillers because he can never get invested in them.
tv shows: since i can’t really point to a specific tv show, i think i’ll just do examples? he would like serious crime shows, like law & order sort of deal, he lowkey would like cartoons like teen titans. he hates sitcoms.
movies: again, i’ll just give vague examples. since different world && all that. movies like fight club, kingsmen, star wars, predator, the dark knight trilogy are all ones he would like.  &&& he’d hate movies like “hush” or “split.”
artists (singers & painters etc): bands like three days grace, fallout boy, red jumpsuit apparatus are things he’d be into. but in the classical sphere he really likes yiruma, this playlist probably saved his life, && he would have a lowkey crush on lindsey stirling.
youtuber (optional if they don’t watch youtube): i don’t think bakugou would be invested enough in youtube to have people he was really a fan of or really disliked. but other than music he would like montages of people getting injured doing dumb shit.
singles/tracks/album’s: again, this playlist he loves.
foods: bakugou fucking loves spicy food. but whenever he eats it he has to be extra careful not to blow anything up since he sweats so much. he doesn’t like junk food.
drinks: honestly he drinks a lot of Gatorade type sports drinks, water, &&& things like that. he’s really not a fan of sodas - or anything carbonated.
personality stuff;
the archetypes (quiz): 39% athlete, 33% advocate, 28% rebel.
game of thrones/a song of ice and fire house/rank type: i imagine his family would be on the noble side, but rather than having inherited it through generations they’ve earned it through knighthoods. katsuki would definitely be far more interested in being an active knight than the lord of some castle.
living stuff;
where do they live - explain on why they live there - or we’re the forcibly thrown there? What does it look like, how many rooms - any curtains? etc etc: he lives with his family, in an apartment building ( even though they could afford a bigger place - his mother insists on not having more than they need ) there are three bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room & four little closets. they don’t have any curtains - but bakugou’s mother has pinned up a sheet over her window because no @ the sun.
do they have neighbours (you don’t have to go supper deep into it but you can if you want - heck don’t listen to me it’s your fucking character.): lmao you mean “deku”
we have the standard vices (drink/drugs/smokes); what do they eat - are they vegetarian, vegan - lactose/gluten intolerent: katsuki wouldn’t touch alcohol, drugs or cigarettes honestly. he really values his body. like he knows he has to be in the best shape possible to be the best hero. so his diet also follows that - he doesn’t eat anything genuinely unhealthy.
do they exercise? how often? how dedicated are they to it: bakugou works out a lot. not only just in school - which is mandatory, but also on his own time. he runs a few miles every sunday, he does cardio in his room, he has a punching bag in his family’s storage unit that he visits on sundays as well & spends at least three hours kickboxing with it. decidedly not using his quirk.
cleaning routine. do they clean? do they clean once a month, does someone clean for them? can they clean - like have they been taught the standards of cleaning or are they a germaphobe: bakugou cleans a lot actually. his room at least. you might expect it to be a little torn apart - but it’s actually pretty organized. having his space neat gives him a nice feeling that helps him calm down.
accessory stuff;
do they have a phone? if so what colour is it in? Does it have a case - what kind? do they have a ring tone or is it always on vibrate/silent? What is the ringtone (default, some david guetta song etc: yes he has a phone. it’s black. his case is black, but with a orange gradient. it’s almost always on vibrate though because his mom is almost constantly messaging him about whatever nonsense. he doesn’t have a song for a ringtone - just the default one.
what does their key chain look like - do they lock their front/back/side door? how many keys do they have? do they have charms or old pet name tags: his keychain is basic as hell. it’s literally just a silver ring with 5 keys. one to his house, one to his bike lock ( not that he rides his bike all that often tbh ), one that unlocks his families storage unit, one that unlocks his dads office & one that opens this little vault he has in his room that holds his Most Precious Things.
do they paint their nails? which ones (ie their toe nails or finger nails)? what colour(s): matte holo, nail art, one colour, top coat & base coat, only top coat, ONLY base coat: he doesn’t paint his own nails no, but honestly i don’t think he’d be against having someone else paint his nails.
way too close for comfort stuff;
what do they smell like - do they shower often? do they LOAD the perfume/cologne on? if so what does it smell like - or is it a bunch of smells from birthday/christmas presents: bakugou smells like nitroglycerin. literally. because he sweats it. like he tries really hard to cover it because no one wants to smell like a chemical so he ends up smelling pretty “clean” because he uses all kinds of odorless soaps & such to cover it. bakugou has to shower really often ( like two times a day - minimum ) because otherwise he becomes a legit safety hazard. because of, as discussed, he sweats nitroglycerin.
what kind of laundry detergent do they use? i am stealing a headcanon from this fanfiction && saying that he has to use a custom detergent to avoid blowing up washing machines with his clothes.
do they ‘five-finger discount’ everything (steal shit), or is it just the ‘small’ stuff: bakugou literally wouldn’t shoplift anything. ever.
family stuff;
how did their family upbringing affect them? were they orphans? were they spoiled? I have a lot of headcanons on this so i’ll direct you to my headcanon tag.
do they even like their family? headcanon tag.
friends stuff;
are they a friend hoarder? do they have 1-5 really good ones; or 1,200 fb friends: bakugou has, if he’s telling you himself one friend. in reality he’s probably got five people he likes well enough to actually want to be around them. but he’s really such an idiot when it comes to friends tbh.
what do they look for in a friend? a listener or a talker: i think it’s more just that he needs friends who can deal with his dramatic monologues without taking them too seriously, but don’t expect him to do much in way of conversation otherwise.
relationship stuff;
what do they look for in a relationship? boy isn’t looking for a relationship right now. he’s focused on becoming a pro hero. but if he were to get into a relationship it’d have to be with someone who respected that his hero dreams are his first priority & someone who understood him well enough that they could deal with his personality without trying to change it. other things too, but those are the big ones.
how old were they when they had their first kiss, what happened? katsuki was seven-years-old & a girl pretty much jumped out up out of nowhere during recess smacked her lips against his && ran away. he was so shocked he kinda just stood there for a while. he never told anyone about it.
how many relationships have they had? why didn’t they last? lmao he’s never been in a relationship in his life.
are they straight, bi, gay? something else? he’s bisexual. but hasn’t really had the time/energy/interest in sitting down & doing any soul searching. he just knows that girls can be really fucking hot but so can guys.
are they poly? or mono? bakugou would have to be monogamous. he’s way too fucking possessive to share. however i can see him being okay with a closed relationship with two other people? as long as they were all together exclusively.
pet stuff;
do they have a pet? are they allergic to any animal? do they LOVE cats or hate them with a fiery passion - or are they just fucking cats: he doesn’t have a pet, because his dad #cannot with animals. but he’s not allergic to any of them & he fucking LOVES cats but he won’t admit it if asked.
are they dressed up super cute? katsuki wouldn’t dress any pet up tbh.
do they WANT a pet really badly but *insert relationship here* is allergic, hates animals etc? baku would like to get a cat but as said above, his dad just can’t with them.
social media stuff;
do they have…  if so what is there… AND (since it applies to all of them) what’s their avatar? if they don’t have these in their world what would they be if your character could have them.
facebook [user name], [## friend count], [any family members on the sidebar], [their about] : bakugou katsuki. 403 friends. his header image is an old family photo. his profile picture is him flipping of the camera & his about says, “if you don’t know who the fuck I am, why are you here?”
instagram [user name], [## following], [## followers], [## posts]: explosioncrowned. avatar is of him in a beanie. he’s following five hundred blogs, but has four hundred thousand followers because so many people love his posts tbh of which he has 2k of. he’s had his instragram for a little under a month & absolutely brags about his follower count.
skype [user name], [## contacts], [description]: his skype username is just bakuplosion, he’s got 2 ( two ) contacts && no description. he exclusively uses skype to talk to his dad when he travels for work &&& his mom when she goes with him.
tumblr [url], [## followers], [## following], [## mutuals], [## posts], fancy theme they made, fancy theme someone else made, OR tumblr default: honestly i don’t think baku would have a tumblr. he doesn’t care enough to maintain one.
twitter [user name], [## followers], [## following], [## mutuals], [## posts]: explosioncrowned is his username again & once again he’s got a pretty significant following with 350k. he follows about 50 other people, 46 of which are mutuals. the other four are his #favorite celebrities.
snapchat [user name], [## contacts], [## stories]: again, I don’t think he’d have a snapchat. it’s just not his thing.
youtube [user name], [## subscribers], [## subscriptions], [## videos] - extra; are they a vlogger, gamer, musician, cover artist etc. he has a youtube account that’s literally just linked to his email. he only uses it for music && to watch montages of people failing at things.
pinterest [user name], [## boards], [## following], [## followers]: while bakugou wouldn’t have his own pinterest - I have a pinterest for him so check it out.
deviantart [uses name], [## watching ], [## watchers], [## submissions], [## favourites] - extra; do they sort anything?: yeah he definitely doesn’t have one of these. baku baby sucks at art.

If children inherit one of their parents' quirks, or a combination of the two, what do you think Bakugou's parents' quirks are? Also what do you think Izuku would have gotten if his power manifested like usual(his father breathes fire and his mother has minor telekinesis)?
Actually anon!!!!! We know Mitsuki and Masaru’s quirks! Mitsuki can sweat glycerine (no explosions) and Masaru has oxidizing sweat (can make small explosions) so when combined you got Bakugou’s nitroglycerine sweat! I find it super neat tbh I was really happy when I found out about it (...also because I kinda headcanoned Bakugou taking the explosions from his mild and lovable father and he did what a good)
As for Izuku tbh I don’t know? I never spent much time thinking about it, but if we exclude the possibilities of him having his mother or his father’s same quirks, the neatest combination would have probably been firebending I think - he could either produce his own fire (like his father does, that would be the strongest outcome I guess) and bend it through his mother’s magnetizing-type quirk, or he could bend already existing fire only, which is also pretty neat but not as self-sufficient and therefore a lil less strong... anyway it would have been hilarious tbh because if he’d had a fire quirk Todoroki Bakugou and he would have all been fire babies and that’s ???? amazing™
Anon said: You know, as funny and adorable was seeing Kiri cry because Tetsu's quirk is similar to his, the new chapters that revealed his insecurities made it more sad, because the Sport Festival is for gaining popularity and attention, and Kirishima already thought his quirk was not flashy, then he meets another student who has a quirk similar to his. It must have been really devastating to his self-esteem
I’m gonna be honest anon, I’ve been keeping track of Kiri’s self-esteem issues since he first mentioned disliking his quirk before the USJ attack so anything that’s happened after it in that sense hasn’t really been a surprise for me? I’ve been hoping Horikoshi would properly address it like he did in the lastest chapters for ages - seeing him honestly upset about Tetsu having his same quirk made me go aw baby the first time I read it in the manga too, so when I saw it happen again in the anime I did still find it kinda sad BUT ALSO it does make you think about how much he grew into himself!! How much better he got with his confidence and how much he tries and works hard oh my god I love that child
Also!!! The fact that even though at first he had that reaction to Tetsu they still ended up being seriously good friends and gunning for each other and having the healthiest rivalry ever is!!!! So good!!!! He could have held a grudge against him forever but instead!!!!! Oh man!!!!!
(... what actually made me sad because I’m weak and a baby is Kaminari going “aw man I’m not good at those” when they announced the second round, like, god save me how many times has this boy been left out of children games through his childhood because his quirk is incompatible with teamwork I want to  c r y)
Anon said:Personally, I cant wait for the part where Kirishima and Tetsutetsu sparkle together while (lovingly) staring at each other and becoming (boy)friends
I WILL die when that happens anon, n g l Kiri and Tetsu’s relationship makes me stupidly happy they’re way too good ahhhhhhhh!!!!
Anon said:Baku: "DONT DECLARE WAR TO THE WRONG PERSON!!!" Deku: HERE COME DAT BOI O SHIT WADDUP??? I love my son
ANON I know you’re pretty hype about how amazing Deku is and he IS and I’m glad he’s getting the recognition he deserves, but Baku and his various complexes and the way he’s treated make me so damn sad in this arc??? Seeing him like that again when the manga has him in such a healthier place hurts me rip
Anon said:if you can hype over the smallest things then i can too right anyways did you notice kaminari saying bakugou's name yass (what no i don't love this pairing at all hah a h)
Every time Bakugou and Kaminari acknowledge each other I die anon I 100% feel you on this that’s a perfectly acceptable reasons to be hype bakunari is a good and I cried
Anon said:I only just realized the new bnha episode was set to come out on my birthday?? BUT HONESTLY WHAT A BLESSING! Hiryuu trying to get everyone to work together in the beginning?? Amazing. (i blame my love for him on you) and then kirishima running away crying, after finding out tetsu's quirk? I'M cryin, my bois, my bros ugh. Ojiro smashing robots with his tail, what a blessing. Aizawa's commentary and Toshi's proud face when deku won!!! Everything. Just everything about it. Oqjdfiwk hbd 2 me
HBD TO YOU INDEED I hope you had a good day in general too, anon!!! And I’m also glad I could make you love my boy Hiryuu he deserves to be noticed dragon child too good I want a manga about him
Anon said:Cheese sticks are made of mozzarella cheese!
*gently holds your face* anon, I know you mean well and it’s not your fault, but mozzarella’s not what you American people think it is
Anon said:I used to think bokuroo was a cute ship but not that into it but I think your art converted me. I literally can't stop shipping them now
That’s!!!!!!!!!!!! Super good to know!!!!! Ship those healthy babies!!!
Anon said:Okay, but have you realised Servamp is back tomorrow?? I'm sooooooo happy
The real question here is when is it gonna be translated and by whom??? Following that manga is hard on me pls gimme the chapter already good side of the internet
Anon said:Come to think of it, I've never thought about this before but it was brought to my attention and I thought I'd ask because it's always better to be sure, but what are your pronouns?
She/her! But seriously don’t worry about it, it’s not gonna upset me if you get it wrong or forget or mix it up~
