Honestly, even without Art’s attempts at manipulation and sabotage, I don’t think Patrick and Tashi’s relationship would’ve survived anyway. Before they started dating, Patrick was criticizing her career plans and Tashi was never interested in entertaining his massive ego at her expense. Passion and chemistry are important to relationships, but if that’s the only foundation, it’s gonna crumble quickly.

The only difference between Patrick/Tashi vs Art/Tashi is that the relationship would’ve ending with a bang instead of a whimper.

Oversized, glitter covered, green shamrock glasses grace her features as she holds a now slightly warm guinness between her hands — warm because she'd been nursing it for over an hour, couldn't stand the taste, but couldn't bring herself not to be part of the festivities.

She risks taking another sip, as though heat would make it taste any better to her. It didn't, and she's quick to dismiss her three quarter full glass upon an empty spot on the bar as her attention is gained by the person bypassing her.

"— did you see where the hot leprechaun from the end of the bar went? He made a joke about topping me earlier and as long as he doesn't mean drinking more of that foamy brown shit I'm not totally against it." She's joking, at least, she thinks she's joking, considering hot and leprechaun are not words she believes belong together in a statement. "I think I've missed my chance, probably gone chasing gold down the rainbow."

It had been an odd time for Patrick. Even without love, divorce felt so final and that made him feel rather empty. Gail had upped and left. She cited a plethora of reasons, none of which he could deny or argue. The day he was served the divorce papers, he refused to look at them.

Weeks had passed, his body practically shuddering with the amount of booze he had fed into himself as a means to cope. The last thing on his mind was his dick but eventually there were urges he had to satiate. There was only one person on his mind. A person who amongst all the complications was someone who he always had swimming in his thoughts. So there he was, waiting for Bastian at his slightly emptier 'luxury' home, having told the other man the door was unlocked, a glass of Bulleit ready for him as he appeared through the door.

Yknow if Joanne’s really wants to stay in business and thrive again they have to completely redirect their targeted audience. Most people don’t walk into Joanne’s and go “god I REALLY want to get hundreds of dollars worth of Easter decor, and yards and yards of gold metallic brocade and this specialty st Patrick’s day flannel”

Most people walk into Joanne’s and go “man I’m like 5 black buttons short for my project” and then they go to the button isle and all of the buttons are ornately designed except for the single overpriced bag of regular black buttons.

Although it was hours before they had to go on stage, High Society was already ar the concert hall to prepare. Their instruments had been checked and for now, the musicians were checking out the stage they had to perform on later that day. Patrick O'Connor moved the mic back and forth, deciding which spot would be best, humming and singing softly.

Then the sound of footsteps approached. High Society's lead singer looked up. "You've gotta be the big act. Guilty Ones, aye?" Patrick grinned and hopped off the stage, holding out a hand. "I'm Patrick. Part of the opening act. What crimes are you guilty of?" he jested, arching a slender eyebrow. He could think of quite a few answers...
