hey so ik u from txf and I got kinda curious, do you believe in aliens?

Logically, I would have to say no. ;))))

I'm not against the idea, though-- I definitely wouldn't be flustered if aliens touched down. Probably just go "okay" and congratulate Mulder (mentally) on being right.

Do you believe they exist? And if so, what lore or interesting fact am I missing out on?

Clint Barton & Matt Murdock Masterlist

Daredevil is an asshole (or just blind) (ao3) - juma_disaster T, 1k

Summary: Hawkeye was deaf. That was a fact that was very known and his teammates always tried to make working with them as comfortable as possible for him. When they were in the middle of battle they would sign Clint short paragraphs so that he doesn’t need to read their lips.

So there was the thing with the famous devil of Hell’s Kitchen. He didn’t even sign short words. Ever.

Clint never asked him specifically to do so, but DD had to see the others sign to Hawkeye at least hundreds of times in these last weeks. So yeah, Clint was a little annoyed maybe even pissed off. And he normally wasn’t easy to piss of. Thank you very much. (Ignoring what Natasha or Ironman might say)

Dumpster Bros (ao3) - tiredpeterparker matt/foggy G, 3k

Summary: Matt and Clint end up forming a weird friendship after crashing in the same dumpster with a background of Matt and Foggy being lawyer husbands

Summary: Who wouldn't have a little itty bitty crush on the Devil of Hell's Kitchen? He's probably the most desirable vigilante according to Clint. Those Abs! And the mystique! However, chasing down the tracksuit mafia leads to an unlikely encounter between Daredevil and Hawkeye, and the pair is forced to utilize one of Natasha's classic undercover tactics in order to escape (They kiss. Clint and Matt kiss).

Basically, just Clint having a massive crush on Daredevil, and then realizing that maybe, just maybe, he should look into dating people again (Also, Clint. You should probably ask if someone is already in a relationship before letting your crush completely spiral out of control).

Summary: Three and a half weeks after Clint pulls Matt out of a dumpster and helps him patch up his injuries, he gets Matt to return the favor.

Eyas (ao3) - prettybirdy979 T, 2k

Summary: So they're fighting some Hydra grunt with a grudge and access to Hydra mad-science. Normal day really except no one's quite sure what the gun does, since it doesn't seem to be having a consistent effect. See how Thor is now a baby while Clint's still the same wise-cracking a-hole, if maybe a bit younger than he was this morning.

Then the grunt scores a hit on Daredevil, there to help out, and now Clint has a whole host of other problems. Namely the screaming, recently blinded nine year old.

It's probably going to be a long day.

Summary: Matt gets bit by a wolf after a botched mission with Bucky and Clint. He saved a little boy but now his anger is more impossible to fight and control than ever. Turning him into a real animal. And the only people who know are of course, team red. Who offer to help keep his emotional issues a secret for other people in Matt's life.

Summary: When Stick blows back into town and gets himself on SHIELD's radar, Natasha snaps up the mission. No fucking child soldiers on her watch. Meanwhile, Matt heard that his old teacher was back in town, and goes to see what bullshit he's up to this time.

Take All The Courage (ao3) - prettybirdy979 T, 16k

Summary: When what should have been a straight forward mission in Hell's Kitchen goes pear shaped due to lack of communication, teaching his teammates sign language seems like a logical step to Clint. Communication when their comms are down - great plan! And including the local vigilante, who's been working closely with them on this, is a real no-brainer.

Until it turns out said vigilante is an asshole that thinks sign language is beneath him, judging by the way he's stubbornly refusing to learn it.

(Conversely - Matt's trying, he really is but damn it, those two signs are exactly the same... what do you mean they mean completely different things?!)

I haven't yet! I saw some Goodreads reviews and it was pretty mixed (pls tell me what you think of them, tempt me~~~ >:)))

BUT I almost broke down and bought some of the comics-- S10/11 before the Revival came about, if I'm correct.

Three Ships: MSR... and, more broadly, Jane Austen heroines w/ their heroes. Um... oh, wait! I was obsessed with Marion/Marian and Robin Hood from the BBC series (2006?)-- made crackfic comics (read: pencil doodles) about them in my teens, so that counts. ;)))

First Ship: It was either Han and Leia (though I was a really little kid who saw their relationship as already married anyway) or me and Frodo. Take your pick.

(Sidenote: @welsharcher, how do you and I live the same life? I started fandom thingamajigs with Youtube edits, too. o.o I still watch Barbie edits by earthtocailin and I'm not ashamed.)

Speed Racer (2008)-- It's gorgeous. CGI is a blend is a crazy blend that holds up; and the Racer family are so tightly-knit, full of heart and love and pain and healing; and there's the perfect level of camp and humor and villainy and everything all mixed in. Cannot recommend enough. The novelization is one of my comfort reads.

2. Ever After w/ Drew Barrymore. Amazing and witty and tender.

3. A rotating assortment of Mattel Barbie movies (the classics up to 12 Dancing Princesses, then skipping ahead to The Red Shoes and NOTHING else)

4. Holiday/Arsenic and Old Lace/Charade with Cary Grant (when I'm in a black and white mood) or Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (maybe)

I'm more of a tv person, so the rest of this list doesn't quite fit the rules but I watch them like movies:

4. X-Files FTF (and mostly series, especially S6's Arcadia.)
