I was tagged by @tizniz and so I thought I would share a super fun, super casual, super chill little moment with you all:

Bobby sinks down in front of him. “Buck,” he says gently. “One time, you and Hen told someone you loved, that if he needed help, all he had to do was ask for it.” Buck swallows. His throat feels closed up, but he manages to push out the one word: “Help.” Bobby leans in and hugs him, and Buck clings, and sobs.

In his arms, Buck whines, rocking back on the knotting dildo still buried inside him. Eddie keeps a firm grip on it, letting Buck chase his pleasure. A deep rumble builds in his chest, Eddie’s alpha restless and upset that Buck isn’t held open on his knot. But he bites it back, the growl resting heavy behind his breastbone.  Buck makes another small noise, and Eddie can’t tell if it’s one of pain or pleasure. There’s a good chance it’s both with the way Buck’s spent cock twitches against the mess coating his stomach. He’s finally soft now, but Eddie thinks it’s more from him no longer being physically capable of getting hard — not from any kind of satiation of his heat.  Eddie ducks his head to press a kiss to Buck’s sweaty temple— discreetly checking his temperature. It’s high, way too high. Eddie frowns before pressing another kiss to Buck’s brow as if he’ll somehow be able to soothe away the fever with his lips.

jsjsjs hi tanis darling. uh... this is definitely the most out there thing I've written, i think. you could even say its out of this world, ha!

As anyone could've guessed, being president of the United States it's probably one of the most demanding and stressful jobs out there. And sure, Eddie was well aware of this when he signed up for it— although if he got into politics out of pure passion or to please his father, the jury's still out on that one. Still, is it too much to ask for at least three uninterrupted hours of sleep? (Eddie strongly does not think so.)

Eddie groans in frustration as he buries his head against his pillow, trying to will his phone to stop ringing, clenching his fist in the shits and counting to ten. He relaxes when the call drops and then they call again. And again. And again.

He reaches his arm out and fumbles in the dark, his head still buried deep in his pillow. “What?” He grunts out once he manages to answer.

“Mr. President, we… uh… we have a situation here.” Eddie doesn't recognize the voice on the other side of the line and he's still half asleep, too tired to even pretend to care.

“It's 3:00 AM.” Eddie does not whine. He doesn't! It's a close thing, though.

“I'm afraid we have strong reasons to believe that… uh, some extraterrestrial life has infiltrated our, uh, country.”

Jesus fucking Christ, Eddie thinks. It is too late (or early, depending on what way you look at it) in the morning for this shit.

The silence from inactivity almost made Eddie miss it. He’d thought he’d imagined the crackle, the snapping of the radio being keyed at his hip. But then the sweetest sound Eddie had ever heard filtered through the radio. 

“Buckley for Nash.” 

Buck.

Eddie nearly strangled himself with the strap trying to unclip his radio. The speaker whined and clicked from someone holding down the comm in a weird way. 

“Cap? It’s Buck. Are you there?”

“Cap!” Eddie called out, already racing towards Bobby at a dead sprint. Bobby and Hen both stopped to watch him and a few officers tensed like they weren’t sure if he was going to make a break for the bank but Eddie ignored them and held up the radio. “Cap! It’s Buck!”

I was tagged by @tizniz and @princessfbi and god it's been a long week. Not as long as the one Eddie's having in this snippet though!

“We’ll have to take you to a hospital for overnight observation,” Chim informs Eddie as he checks his pupils. “Make sure you didn’t get something in all that water.” “Buck,” Eddie rasps. “I’m Chimney, but I get it, I’m incredibly handsome and half a foot shorter so it’s hard to tell us apart. Just remember I’m the charming one.” Eddie gives Chim a deadpan look, then swings his exhausted gaze over to Buck. “Please…” Buck knows what he’s asking. “Of course.” His hand trembles where it grips Eddie’s knee. “Of course, I’m sure Bobby will let me go. I’ll stay the night.” Eddie nods, his head moving heavily and wobbling a bit like a bobblehead. “Good.”

Buck nearly drops his phone, the adrenaline coursing through his veins making them shake. Eddie’s face smiles up at him and Buck nearly sobs, but he holds it back, swiping to answer the call.

“Eddie!” Whatever Eddie says is lost in the rushing roar of blood in his ears. But just the sound of the other man’s voice has relief and desperation warring inside of him and making him dizzy. John lunges for him, knocking the phone out of his hand.

It clatters to the floor and Buck’s heart trips up into his throat. “Eddie— I’m in the elevat—''

There’s a crunch of glass and metal, and Buck snatches his hand back to his chest — barely avoiding getting his fingers stomped on. John keep stomping, rocking the elevator as Buck’s phone is pulverized, glittering shards from the screen crunching under his shoes.

“So is that the problem? Is he why you’re playing so hard to get?” The venom in John’s voice drips off his tongue and splatters over Buck’s skin, making him flinch back against the floor.

Wait! Come back!!!!! Hi, hello, have a seat. *roots around the kitchen for a snack or coffee to offer* Both of those WIPs sound fantastic. Having the background on the Cupid one got me really invested. Like Buck (ever the people pleasing stubborn high achiever) would be so frustrated with that situation. Because Eddie’s heart has been broken and mishandled for years (decades if we’re being honest) so he is shut down and shattered and closed off. The only thing that managed to penetrate his walls is Christopher.

Anyway… so, yes i am very psyched for more!
