i'm reading a manhwa where people are getting red eyes and it's allowing them to see monsters that live in an alt version of our world

and things are mostly ok with the 2 sides living side by side without each other's knowledge

until you do something to get the monster's attention

then they hunt you

Donnie: *blinks* What word? Moist?

Raph: *walking in* What?

I’ve always had a deep love for Mikey and Donnie’s relationship. Especially in the 2003 show. I love that Mikey always seems to be Donnie’s right hand man/assistant, they work well and bounce off each other greatly. Plus seeing Donnie go protective big brother mode whenever Mikey gets hurt or is in trouble, calling out to him, really warms my heart.

Agreed, anon. Despite Raph and Leo’s friction that often arise, they really depend on each other and Raph at the end of the day is always Leo’s right hand (or vise versa for Rise). Even in their disagreements, they always have the same goal- Protect our brothers.

So naturally, Don and Mikey would form a sweet dynamic. Because of Leo and Raph making the bigger decisions, they have the luxery to do lots of things together. Goofing off in the lab, Mikey getting a mechanics lessons in the garage, looking out for one another, keeping each other busy during another stupid fight. And Mikey is the destinated baby of the family, and Donnie is going to take care of his baby brother. Especially when the Magnetic duo aren’t around, Don is up to bat and he takes that seriously.

tmntober day 3: Teeth

Donny pulled back his lip so he could get a better look in the mirror.

Yep, his teeth were definitely longer. He reached up with his other hand to feel them. They're sharper too.

He sighed and let go of his mouth, letting expression fall. Memories of the last few weeks were fuzzy at best, but they had certainly left their mark on him.

Was this permanent? Donny wished it wasn't, but he doubted that his teeth and claws would ever shrink back to their former size. The stretch marks will fade, but he has a feeling he'll always know they're there.

“Hey! There you are, bro!” Mikey suddenly appeared behind him, slinging an arm around Donatello’s shoulder and leaning his head against his own.

He watched their expressions thoughtfully and Donny tried not to look like he wasn’t just worrying over his changed appearance.

“Hm… y’know, between you and me, Don? I think we’re the handsome ones of the family.”

Donny couldn’t help a burst of laughter. Mikey just grinned at their reflections and hugged his brother.
