I've thought about it for the entire time i was gone here (college, going to japan for a trip, and other errands kept me away) and I've decided, I'm gonna start posting hot and steamy works on main, starting from this comic strip, primarily because making another alt is too much of a hassle.

thank you everyone for such a positive response to the chapter rerelease! i know it wasn't the update most of you were hoping for but at this point the story wasn't going to move forward until i went back and made some adjustments.

cleaning code + cutting back on tracked variables will help me a lot, and with this next chapter i'll be able to tighten up the relationship variables and make it all more manageable.

so i've been re-reading acswy (and loving it even more if possible) and something on the back of my mind is just how secret this sneaking around is 🤭 for example i think certain characters 👀 definitely know or at least suspect, whether or not they know the whole emotional depth. but my question is… how much have mike and will themselves thought about how subtle (or not 👀) they are being? will acknowledges that being careful has got him nothing so far, but what about how obvious theyre being? mike seems a bit oblivious or just subconsciously ignoring it (like max about the facepaint). do they think about this or not care? or can they not see past their own excitement etc?

hmmm i wouldn't say this is a Spoiler per say but i will say that we have set up mike and will to be unreliable narrators this whole time, so i think they definitely think they are being slick! you sent this before ch10 but obviously now with that context of mike and lucas talking about it -- lucas knew what mike was talking about, obviously, because he's friends w both of them, but i wouldn't say he had Noticed anything super different beyond the fact that mike and will had reconciled and started to make up on lost time re: their friendship. i think maybe he had hoped, bc of prior context, but i def don’t think he thought there was actively anything going on (their fwb sitch) than a feelings development.

we obviously don't see too much of el and dustin (which is a crime, but it's hard to balance a 6-person cast - we have tried to work them in more in this back half) so we aren't sure of their opinions, but obviously max is a lot more suspicious! i think that will has always been hyper-aware of max, hence why ch07 he had a bit of a freak out, but i think in ch09 as he starts to come to terms with his feelings for mike himself he simultaneously comes to terms with the fact that max has clocked them and that's okay because she's his best friend and he knows that even if she gives him shit for it, she will support him! i think really up until then it's just been him being scared that max will put two and two together and figure it out before he does. that said, i think max is the same wherein she suspects feelings are at play, but has no clue they’re hooking up.

i think objectively overall they're pretty obvious but only if you are caring enough to pay attention, and quite frankly, almost everyone But max are paying attention to other things. max is just nosy <3

i'm gonna be completely honest with you, when i tell you that the 15th season of nuwho single-handedly brought back my whovian phase that i have not seen since i was 17 years old, i love every episode, sometimes i cannot genuinely predict where that episode will go but when it goes somewhere it feels rewarding, i feel excitement and shivers while watching the show, i feel tempted to create theories, and for someone who's watched over 6 months of serialized content those are such precious things to experience

in Across the Spider-Verse, Miguel describes canon event ASM-90 as “a police captain close to Spider-Man dies saving a kid from falling rubble during a battle with an arch nemesis”

this description alone shows that Miguel must be lying about canon events. for Pavitr’s ASM-90 event, Inspector Singh does nearly die saving a kid from falling rubble. however, it was not during a battle with an arch nemesis

the Spot is Miles’s arch nemesis, not Pavitr’s

plus, Miguel says earlier that Miles shouldn’t have been bitten, and if he wasn’t bitten, then the Spot wouldn’t exist. so if Pavitr’s ASM-90 was supposed to be the Spot’s doing, then Miles has to become Spider-Man! if he didn’t, and Spot didn’t exist, then Pavitr’s ASM-90 wouldn’t have happened! (according to Miguel’s logic)

i guess you could say Miguel’s web of lies is unraveling

Ok I’ll bring it up, I’m actually surprised you’re not a Spyro fan. I feel like the Neopets/Spyro Venn Diagram has a pretty wide intersection, though looking at some other Neopets-centric blogs I’m not so sure anymore! That might’ve just been a me thing lol.

LOL ACTUALLY! my cousin had a Playstation and Spyro the Dragon and i LOVED going to her house to play Spyro as a kindergartner (i was bad at it and just ran around the peacekeepers hubworld burning sheep). I think Spyro was at least partially responsible for getting me obsessed with dragons as a kid too.

I beat the first game on an emulator back in... 2018? 2019? (with the use of savestates) and then got the reignited trilogy + got to varying degrees of completion on all of those before getting frustrated and giving up (final boss for the first game, random other areas of the 2nd and 3rd game).

i really love the unique designs they gave to all of the elder dragons in the Spyro 1 remaster- easily my favorite part of that game. oh and i like the original soundtrack; its got a great sound to it. and i used to have fun looking at the concept sketches for Spyro too because that artist has a neat scribbly style

i finished the mission, yippee ! ! ദ്ദി(ᵔᗜᵔ) was kinda zoomin, huh. . . still! it was very interesting and a weeee bit sad but i enjoyed!! super super excited to see what is in store for anaxa and castorice! i am leaving u with some pics of the pretty scholar~
