In June I made a poll asking if you guys needed a home type of workout for the glutes. It took me a while to put it together and come up with a nice workout for the glutes you can do at home with a pair of dumbbells. I’m posting the first training today, and then the second one will be posted tomorrow. Special thanks to Nina @ninafit39 who helped me out to put these workouts for you. If you are a total beginner I would suggest to start with smaller weights, like maybe 2 kg dumbbells, and then progress and add every 2 weeks or every week 1 kg more. The challenge for me was to be able to make it beginner friendly, safe and efficient. You will have 2 workout routines: numbered 1 and 2. You can workout 2 times per week, and do 1-2, or 3 times per week: 1-2-1, and then the next week 2-1-2, etc. Please keep the tempo as in my demonstration videos. Tempo is very important. This program can be done from 4 to 6 weeks. Years ago when I first came to the US, everyone I knew was going to the dentist, so I thought I'd check out the dentist, too. So I made an appointment with some dentist someone recommended. Very good, they said. It turns out he was a very, very old man. Ancient, or so he looked to me. DENTIST: Where are you from? ME: Romania. DENTIST: Really? I did my residency there years ago. (A century ago is more like it, I said to myself.) The dentistry they practiced there was one of the most barbaric I've ever seen. They used Soviet methods. Not very pretty. (He looks in my mouth.) Nice teeth. Very healthy. (Lucky thing I've never been to the dentist before, I was thinking.) DENTIST: There was a revolution there recently or something like that, I remember. ME: Not that recently (I mumbled with his fingers in my mouth). I was a child. (I guess old people judge time differently, I thought. To me the revolution seemed like a lifetime ago.) DENTIST: What's the greatest industry there? The textile industry? And agriculture, right? Something like 70% of the country is rural, so agriculture is a big thing there. (What? What is this guy talking about? I have no fucking idea, I was saying inside my head. He could be right, but I don't really think of countries in terms of their economy. I try to see the positive side of things.) 🍒 So there you have it. Btw, I love dentists!
