At first, it was hard for Leon to even get to know you. After all, he was the champion, you were just a trainer. But you caught his eye. With how downright adorable you were, and your Pokemon.

Leon saw you battle once, and was immediately intrigued. He already thought you were psychically attractive, but this just added to it. You were a great trainer too!

So naturally, he got “lost” in the Wild Area and followed you around for a bit. But when he tried to talk to you, you yelped, and took off in the other direction. He felt a little hurt, but pushed it aside.

So you were shy, huh? Alrighty then. Leon has to do this the non-Leon way.

He followed you around the Wild Area again, but this time, was much more strategic. When you had set down camp, that’s when he “pounced.”

He made sure not to startle you, and carefully introduced himself. Once you guys got to chatting, he just developed more and more of a crush on you. Not like it wasn’t mutual, you’ve had a celebrity crush on him for years! And now he’s TALKING to you???

You exchanged numbers, and met up again many more times. Eventually, he even got to meet your Pokemon team when he challenged you to a battle!

A Togekiss, Garchomp, Melmetal, Jolteon, Lucario, and Milotic. You kicked his ass. This was kept a secret for a very long time, as he had to keep up the façade of unbeatable champion.

He was… very surprised, and so were you. But nonetheless, you happily parted ways after a little more flirting from him. He asked you out a few days later, of course you said yes.

You both decided to keep it secret for a bit, as the media would get right up in your grill. And you are shy. You would not like that. Leon would also not like that.

He comes to see you whenever you battle, and drool from the sidelines. You have a bit of a streak going by this point, some people saying you may as well be the next champion with how good you are.

You have many secret dates with him before you both finally decide to tell people. Leon lets it slip in an interview, and everyone goes B A N A N A S.

Now, you are a target for the press. They catch you sometimes after matches, but normally Leon is there to shoo them away when they get too nosy, or when you look like you’re about to have a panic attack. But when Leon isn’t there, it’s not as good.

You usually just (very politely) tell them to fuck off, and bolt away. Leon is so so proud of you whenever this happens. You are rewarded with many kisses.

Sometimes you do interviews together, and Leon can’t help but gush about you while you sit there blushing like you’re going to explode.

You end up becoming one of the best trainers in Galar, actually! Maybe even good enough to be a gym leader, if you’d like.

Of course, you keep kicking your boyfriend’s ass along the way, and he keeps trying to scheme ways to beat you.

Leon has his sights on a much more important title

And the first step to gaining that title?

Finding a wonderful, awesome person that he loves and loves him back unconditionally?

He’s already got that covered!

Spoilers! It’s you!

Now he has to take the next step

The proposal

With Lee, I can see this going two ways, depending on the kind of person you are

If you’re someone who loves the spotlight, a fellow elite-class trainer and/or a major celebrity

I can totally see him proposing to you in front of a massive crowd in Wyndon Stadium

After an intense heart-pounding match

If you’re his opponent, when you go to shake his hand after the battle, he’ll take it

And drop down on one knee

If you’re just watching the match, he’ll call you out to the pitch

As the new head of the Galar League, he’s already got the staff clued in, no surprises with them

You walk onto the pitch to a roar of applause, having an inkling of what’s about to happen, where Lee gives you a kiss, takes your hand and get into position

Presents to you a little velvet box

And gives a heart-warming but brief speech

He’d love to go on, really pour his heart out… but some of the things he wants to say are just for your ears only

The whole time the audience is waiting on bated breath

With the occasional holler of “Go Leon!” and “Say Yes!”

Somebody did shout “Say no! I wanna marry him first!”

Which admittedly made you chuckle

The whole proposal is being broadcasted on the big screen, and across the region, maybe even the world

Which means, when you say – no, exclaim - “Yes!”, It’s the yes heard around the world

The crowd goes W I L D

Just an eruption of clapping and hollering and screaming

But you don’t register it at all

No, you’re too focused on the love of your life, slipping a gorgeous ring on your finger

And taking you in his arms

So warm, and strong, and perfect

He holds you to his body like you’re the most precious thing to him

Which you are

“I love you,” you hear him whisper in your ear

Your answer comes in the form of a passionate, triumphant kiss

Which makes the crowd go even crazier

Now, if you’re someone who’s more introverted, private and/or not a fan of public proposals

I imagine it’d go a little something like this;

It’d be a proposal in your shared home

And he’ll pull out all the stops to make it as romantic and as cosy as possible

He’ll secretly take a half day from the battle tower to prepare everything while you’re busy with work/school/etc.

The whole living room will be transformed

I’m talking candles (with your favourite scent)

Bunches upon bunches of favourite flowers

An arch decorated with said flowers

And so many photos of the two of you together from your relationship

Plus, ones of you that he just thinks are cute

He’ll prepare your favourite meal or order your favourite takeaway too

And he’ll wait by the front door, practically buzzing with excitement (and a touch of anxiety)

I mean, he’s pretty sure you’ll say yes

But he has an old, toxic friendship with doubt so, it’ll always be there, whispering falsehoods

You arrive home

Greeted by the sight of your purple haired himbo

And the lovely display he’s set up for you

It’s not your birthday, so you know something special is afoot

Even though, you’re certain it’s going to end with a proposal, you still end up feeling surprised

He takes your hand and walks you through all your memories together, reminding you how much you mean to him, how lucky he is to have you, how you’ve always been there for him, how much he loves you

And how he can’t imagine his life without you

It would be too painful

All ending with him getting on one knee under the arch of your favourite flowers

You’re crying, he’s crying

As you say “Yes!” and share a tight embrace

No matter if his proposal is public or private, the wedding is DEFINITELY private

That celebration of your love with you friends and family, just isn’t for the world to see

Except a few photos on social media a week or two later lol

It’ll be cute, quaint rustic affair

Probably in Wedgehurst or Postwick

In one of those farmhouses that double as wedding venues

Raihan is most likely best man

Hop’s just a bit too young

But he’s definitely a groomsman, and the ring bearer

He and Wooloo take this job very seriously

If you for one second think Charizard isn’t also a groomsman and wearing a bowtie, you’re SORELY mistaken my friend

The guest list is mainly your and his friends and family, and the Galar League

For the life of me, I can’t imagine Lee in a plain black suit/tux

He’ll at least wear a jacket that’s a colour that suits him

Probably something that’ll match the colour scheme

Let me tell you one thing

Well, two things

Lee will definitely cry

And he will carry you over every. single. threshold.

No exceptions

When he goes in for the kissTM he’ll cup your face and kiss you with so much love and passion you’ll be breathless

I’m sorry but that just gives me butterfrees

He will give a speech and a toast to you at the reception

It’ll be heartfelt and dorky just like him

Raihan’s best man speech is funny, and just a touch irreverent

He definitely harps on about how you’re way out of Leon’s league

And how smitten Lee is with you

When it comes to the cake, if you let him, Lee would like to smush a bit of it on your face

Just a little smush

Which he fully expects you to do back to him

Again, only if this is something you want

You two will definitely feed each other cake either way though

During the whole reception (and before) Lee just has this goofy, lovestruck expression on his face

He gives you heart eyes the entire time

And he keeps asking if it’s really real

Is he really your husband now?

You delight in telling him yes, every time

 Your first dance is basically just the two of you hugging while you sway to music for like three minutes

The world disappears, and it’s just you and your husband

It’s perfect

After a fantastic night of food, dancing and fun

Leon picks you up and carries you over one last threshold

Sure, the night may be done, but the fun? That’s not over yet ;)

First off, this man is a cuddler. He’s very needy by nature, so when you’re in bed together he wants to be right up next to you. He loves spooning you, and breathing in your sweet scent as you both fall asleep. He drags you back into bed when you try to get up, he doesn’t want to let go of you. It’s difficult to get up anyway when a two-hundred pound man of muscle is sprawled out all over you.

If it’s too hot for cuddling he’ll just settle for holding your hand from across the bed. Or he kicks off the blankets and cuddles you anyway.

Sometimes after you spend a night screwing each other silly, you wake up naked against one another. He likes feeling your warm body against him, and maybe he’s even still tucked inside your cunt after last night’s activity’s.

When you are not around he finds it very difficult to fall asleep. He just needs you next to him, and when you are not he’s very, very lonely.

The bed you two share is incredibly plush and soft in your shared home. It’s king-sized, to give you both enough space to squirm around during the night, and you have a few fuzzy and fluffy blankets thrown over the comforter. Leon normally takes the right side, while you get the left.

Leon snores too, but not insanely loud, just soft, cute little grunt-like noises. He’s a little squirmy, so you may get kicked every once in a while, and he’s quite a heavy sleeper. He once slept through an insanely loud thunderstorm.

Sometimes he talks in his sleep, and most of it is absolute nonsense.

“I have to get past the Pikachu to get to the Bulbasaur to get to the filing cabinet to see if I’m a robot or not.”

Ok, so Leon (17) was a bit worried about Hop (7) meeting Charizard.

Hop knew Charmanda, but handling a baby lizard is quiet different from handling an big not dragon.

Especially since his brother can't sit still and has problems with regulating his voice.

So yeah. He was worried. Cause he really didn't want to put Charizard away whenever he had to visit home.

When the actual visit came, Leon really didn't know if he should be happy or not.

Charizard did not react to Hop at all, expet greeting him with an small smoke cloud.

This is good, cause that means that Hop is probably safe, but also really bad,because they used to be super close before he left for his journey.

He decided to watch them for the case that something on their relationship would change.

It didn't. At least till he had to go on an emergency meeting with Rose. He left without Charizard, cause his mom drove him.

He returned a few hours later, to Charizard being extremely affectionate towards Hop, even going so far as to groom his hair.

Needless to say, he was super confused, but when he asked his brother he just said that it always acted that way.

He then (after a few days of testing) found out that Charizard only acted distant towards Hop when he was around.

What is also a bit worrying.

Cause apparently he is the issue.

He went to Raihan to cry to him about it, who then informed him that Charizard was simply trying to co parent.

As long as Leon was with Hop, they where safe and it didn't need to pay attention to them.

But when Leon wasn't? Then Hop was completely defenseless and it needed to intervene and take care of him.

Unpopular opinion time;

Leon and Sonia aren’t friend. They are barely even acquaintances. All their interactions and remarks about each other feel kinda stiff and kinda “oh yeah that person!” Through out Sword and Shield.

They don’t seem to be the type to seek the other out or really talk to the other other than an occasional “hello.”

That’s just me though.
