Finally I will rant a bit about my Separated AU! The premise is that Donnie and Mikey were raised by Draxum, while Leo and Raph were raised by Splinter. Here are Donnie's and Mikey's designs so far. Their uniforms are the same instead of their favourite colours because while my Draxum isn't going to be unredeemable, he is still a controlling and cold parent, especially in the beginning of the AU. He is raising them to be warriors and making them help in his quest to eradicate humans.

I haven't written down many headcanons yet but fun fact! Donnie is FTM trans (he/they), and so is Leo (he/him)! I just haven't designed Leo or Raph yet because I wanted to focus on Donnie and Mikey for now. I don't yet have established headcanons for Mikey or Raph's genders.

I like to think that one day Donnie just walked past Draxum like "Oh! The tragedy!! He said without a hint of sarcasm-- [deadname] has CEASED TO EXIST hehehe. Slain by DONATELLO" and Draxum is just like: "Will you ever learn to use an inside voice..??" and proceeds to update anything related to Donnie's name/gender/pronouns. I think he'd be cool with it.

Huginn and Muninn are going to be in this AU as well, I just haven't drawn them yet. They hang out with Mikey and Donnie and have funny interactions with them.

i need to know how donnie fared being pregant...pregante even. i promise this is not a weird thing or intended to be ijust like babies.

there were definitely ups and downs and all that. donnie's main coping mechanism throughout pretty much the entire experience was just treating it a little like a science experiment-- he records every symptom, every milestone, every discovery, etc. keeps him from thinking too hard and then getting stuck in his head.

he also nests pretty hard, as pictured above, and goes through an absolutely horrendous morning sickness period for the first two and a half months or so. rough time for vomitello.

overall, i think he copes pretty well? has a really robust support system behind him throughout the whole thing and felt good about the decision he and his partner made, even if the whole thing was a... surprise, but i think he finds it a lot easier to kind of distance himself from the entire experience and frame it somewhat clinically? it just feels like a lot otherwise.

donnie ends up really enjoying being a parent and absolutely adores his daughters once they arrive, but just overall did not particularly enjoy the experience of having eggs. grumpy boy the whole way through.

(^ their outward appearance doesn't change very noticeably during pregnancy, due to the nature of their turtle anatomy, but their center of gravity shifts pretty dramatically and they lose their balance/fall down/trip, like... a LOT. even grumpier boy.)

... he also finds coping with hormones and the influx of emotions that come with them to be... difficult.

2nd chapter for my first Fic

Hello. This is for my first fanfic on AO3. This involves ROTTMTNT. This involves Trans Donatello and Trans Leonardo.

I have created the 2nd chapter for this fic. A little bit more comfort in this chapter.

General summary of what the Fic is about: Donnie always has a problem. Once a month, the gender dysphoria gets too much. He just wants this time of month to go away. But luckily, he has someone who understands.
