26. Massage Fic 37. Coming Out Fic

tw: accidental coming out/situational reveal (good ending, situation could have gone wrong if it were the wrong partner)

I feel like a mix of these two would be... probably trans dude Obi-Wan, who's still in the closet, and recently started dating rich girl Satine. He's really, really into her, and an absolute gentleman, and refuses to give her any reason to mistrust him when he offers to give her a massage. He is not going to give her a reason to regret letting him put his hands on her.

And that goes well enough, and she offers to return the favor, but he waves it off nervously and turns around to grab his phone or something.

Satine, who by this point has clocked that Obi-Wan sometimes has a tendency to give more than he gets, thinks it's just more of that, and slips up to put her hands on his shoulders and get out some of that tension.

Except she feels the thick, stiff straps of Obi-Wan's binder, and pauses.

There's a moment where Obi-Wan is just frozen, absolutely terrified of the possible consequences, and Satine can almost feel the fear.

And so she asks, "um, have you maybe been wearing it too long? That's a thing, right? Maybe that's why you're all stiff, if it pulls on your shoulders like other, uh, support garments do."

Which is... you know, not the one hundred percent absolute best comment of all time, but hits Obi-Wan's fears and dashes them. Given that they're seventeen or something, this is a pretty solid comment.

Satine finally realizes she should maybe take her hands away, and so she does that, and apologizes for grabbing like that without asking, and Obi-Wan forgives her (because, with a whole lot of off-screen context of their relationship up to that point, he gets why she thought it would be fine and normal and within all set boundaries), and they go on like that ad infinitum.

I was imagining this all in a modern AU in Satine's bedroom (with the door open by parental demand), but honestly a variation of it could probably happen in the year on the run, huh.

I have seen it all. Canon Padme pregnancy. Trans Anidala with Anakin pregnant. But have you considered???? Trans Anakin where force got baby fever gave him Leia and gave Padme Luke and now Obi-Wan is all ‘I gotta do everything around here’ when Ahsoka and Rex are trying to sleep at 3am so here he is on the convenience store five blocks and eight floors down to get them both a horrifying mixture (that he’s chosen NOT to ask which items belong to which of them) of hot dogs, pretzel sauce, taco meat, pistachio ice cream, and tomato paste for their midnight snacks and it’s just delightful. Palpatine died on -accident- (Fox got him alone in a room with no surveillance and there was no investigation when they found out he was a Sith) and the twins are happy and born within 3 minutes of each other. Obi-Wan demands they give him paternity leave too if Anakin is gonna be handing him a baby every time he’s around because how can you expect Obi-Wan to say NO to free baby cuddles??? He can’t. He’s upgrading his birth control implant because if the force is gonna hand the dumbest idiots he knows babies he doesn’t wanna figure out if Stewjoni men really can carry 3+ babies to past full term with zero bad effects or killing the parent he doesn’t wanna give it any excuse to get more force sensitive kids okay he’s tired.
