Shamanism: A Journey Through the Mind, Body, and Spirit Connection
Shamanism, a spiritual practice that spans across various cultures and epochs, serves as a profound testament to the universality of human psychobiological experiences. Through the lens of Winkelman’s (2002) research, we can understand shamanism not merely as a cultural artifact but as a manifestation of innate brain processes, representational systems, and psychophysiological dynamics inherent…

Beyond the Veil
My Journey into the Transcendence of Physical Realms and the Oneness of the Universe In the boundless journey of existence, some moments catapult us beyond the tangible, into realms where the physical dissolves into the ineffable, and where the self merges into the boundless oneness of the universe. During my dialogue with Steve James on Guru Viking, I opened a window into my experiences that…

something about kintsugi and alcor and getting broken and getting your broken pieces mend back together but different from how you originally were and how even though you've been put back together you're still broken and you can never go back-
(inspired by this really pretty post by @rilianelucifensteatime!!)

the thing about Carly Rae Jepsen is that I’ll put her discography on shuffle and think “oh wow I forgot how good this song is, this may be one of her best songs” every three to five minutes

The Facets of Ego and Transcendent Experiences: Part Two
As we proceed from Part One, a profound realization dawns. During moments of complete ego death, the individual facets cease to exist, yet paradoxically, they all exist, blending into a unified consciousness. i just finished rhythm doctor (or at least the acts of it that are currently out) and. just. you HAVE to try it if you're at all interested in rhythm games. it's like rhythm heaven if rhythm heaven
had one minigame,
iterated on that minigame until it was the most involved and compelling thing imaginable,
had genuinely great characters and sweet arcs, and
had legitimately some of the coolest boss fights i've ever seen in any game. (i'm not kidding the act 5 boss made me actually gasp alone in my room because of how overwhelmingly awesome it was)
anyway go play it it's so fun and cool and funny and challenging and honestly just an incredibly good time
