Fanfic prompt : You know how people assume that the war of eras happens for Tune before linked universe

And how time and warriors would try to hide it but eventually it always ends up revealed for wind that he would end up helping them in the war

And wind would scheme and threaten them with pranks he could pull off as the one who knows them when they don’t know him

While time and Warriors would think “yep , that is definitely baby tune”

As they humor him and give him stories and their bond grows around the idea that wind would some day be tune

Every inside joke is shared and wind hopes someday he would get them as well

They end up being really close telling him so much

…

Yet after linked universe he never met them again

He waited for years hoping that a portal would open or something magical would happen

But even decades later he never got taken to the war of eras

Because Wind was't tune

He was never meant to go to the war

Another version of him did

All those inside jokes and jabs at him … he would never find out their origins

How they were hurt at him for never saying anything about meeting them prior when they shared everything

Maybe because he never met them

Tune never knew them before linked universe

Presumably because Tune never went on the adventure with the chain

Like wind never met mask and wars

Is their relationship built upon the relationship the three had prior even real

Because nobody was closer in the chain then them

or where they even close ?

Legend and Hyrule knew each other just on this adventure and gotten close

Yet it was genuine because they only knew each other as the adventure progressed

Twilight and Wild seemed to be in the same boat as he and the others

Wild knew him but who is to say that it was even this twilight

As he clearly wouldn’t be tune

Did wind steal connections from a version of himself who actually experienced them

He would never find out

For he was never going to be tune

Tune was on the adventure as a young adult

He wasn’t a young adult anymore

What if enlightenment isn’t just fulfilling—but pragmatic?

After all, if self-realization isn’t relevant to the average person, then what the hell are we even doing?

The average person isn’t seeking Truth. When you're worried about survival, lofty ideas don’t mean much. What they’re seeking is relief.

They’re thinking:

“Why am I anxious all the time?” “Why can’t I just be happy?” “Why does getting what I want never put an end to my problems?”

It’s easy to point the finger outward and blame the world for these burdens. But we can't afford to wait for the world to change before we find peace. And maybe the world won’t change until we embody that peace ourselves.

Here’s the catch: We won’t find real answers if we only search on our own terms. All we’ll find are bandaids and reassurances.

Not freedom.

Because we haven’t yet asked the one question that cuts to the heart of it all:

“What if the ‘you’ doing the chasing is the problem?”

That might sound abstract at first. But really—what could be more relevant to your experience of life than your own self?

Take a moment to consider: You’ve never actually experienced anything outside your own consciousness. So in your pursuit of peace, freedom, and happiness—what exactly are you chasing?

Self-realization isn’t some mystical elite endpoint.

It’s the antidote for:

Anxiety

Alienation

Addiction

Identity crisis

Existential dread

Grief

Loneliness

Let’s be clear— We’re not talking about a belief. Not a temporary state of emotion. Not another form of self-improvement.

We’re talking about one of the most profound and relevant mysteries at the center of human life: Consciousness itself.

This isn’t spiritual fluff. It’s functional freedom.

And the average person wants freedom. We’ve just been conditioned not to recognize it unless it comes with a dopamine hit or a price tag.

Unlike the world trying to sell you happiness or wholeness, self-realization doesn’t give you anything. It takes away the root cause of suffering: everything that was never truly you.

And in that absence, you don’t become more.

You become free.
