These treehoppers are usually green as adults, but every so often they grow up pink. Their nymphs are white and fuzzy, and some years, like this one, very plentiful. When they hatch out of their nymph form, they briefly look like cabbage.

hello my dears... cat-eared treehopper today

featuring a planthopper from the genus (Tricentrus) these guys usually have three horns on their heads... although this individual only appears to have two. i believe this one is non morphospecific and cannot be ided to species

frequently seen on the leaves and stems of wild bushes and can be gently picked up if youre stealthy enough

the horns always looked like cat ears to me. which makes me find them extra cute
