Day 5 - "You're not looking so hot."

Mahogany couldn’t take it anymore. He put his plate on the counter with a little more force than necessary, halting the conversation. “I’ve had fevers before,” he said irritably. “I’ve recovered without magic – I’ll do it again. Just leave it.”

Without another word, he headed for the stairs. The others looked away, instead exchanging glances they thought he couldn’t see.

And then, a few steps in, he stumbled. Mahogany tottered sideways, landing against Rokaria’s chair. He pushed himself away from the support as if the wood burned.  “Sorry,” he muttered, and moved on.

But before he could pass the table, Kip leaned back in his chair to block the path. “You want a hand?” he asked.

“Up the stairs?” Mahogany rolled his eyes, resisting the urge to give in to his temper. “I tripped. It happens. I’m fine.”

“Bullshit,” Wilf coughed into his fist.

Mahogany didn’t dignify that with a response. He skirted around Kip and stalked to the stairs.

Wilf gave a louder, even less convincing cough. “Bullshit!” he hacked.

Mahogany stopped and curled his fingers over the banister. Without turning around, he said, “I heard you.”

“Hog, you don’t look right,” Rish said. “We’re concerned.”

Anyways @cyucya I drew them in the treehouse from the movie XD I saw so many similarities with Skylar-Chilli and Jess it was insane so I had to draw them ‘making’ a treehouse

Day 4 - Sacrifice

“Hey,” Solniss said. “Are you with me?”

Mahogany didn’t answer. He was staring.

“This is usually the part where you get defensive,” Solniss goaded.

Still, he said nothing. His eyelids drooped, but he fought to stay awake. Finally, in a breathless voice, he said, “I know you.”

She chuckled. “Yeah, Hog. You do.”

His eyes drifted until he stared up at the ceiling. “I think I’m…confused,” he said.

Solniss placed a hand over his and patted. “It’s alright, pal. You’re sick,” she explained. “Got a high fever.”

“Fever.” Mahogany didn’t even sound like he knew what the word meant. His gaze landed on her face again. “I know you,” he repeated. “You’re…” He was too tired to convey frustration, or any emotion, in his voice, but she could see it in his eyes.

“It’s alright,” she said.

“No. I know…”

“Relax,” Solniss said. “It’s in there. It’ll come back when you’re better.”

“I know it.“

“I believe you,” she said. “Rest.”

A minute of silence passed. His eyes slid closed, though he was still fighting it. Then, he croaked, “Solniss?”

The relief that coursed through her was dizzying. “Yeah?”

“How long have I been sick?”

“Too long.” In the silence that followed, Solniss elaborated: “A week and a half, now.”

“I’m sorry.”

Of course, you are. Out loud, she said, “Yeah, what for?”

He swallowed, and then he spoke again, his voice low and tired. “I don't mean to scare you.”

Solniss snorted. “You’re sick. It’s hardly your fault.” It was delayed, but Mahogany gave a weak laugh. Solniss raised her eyebrows. “Something funny?”

“Yes, I’m afraid it is.”

She played along. “What is?”

“My fault.”

Solniss’s smile flattened. “What?”

“Still…I’d do it again,” Mahogany murmured. “It beats what would have happened…” His voice tapered off on the last words.

Solniss leaned in. “Mahogany,” she said, “what did you say?”

He didn’t answer. Solniss waited for him to summon more strength and reply, but his breathing evened out and she watched his face relax in sleep.

She didn’t like the sound of that, at all.

Yes.

Noisette was meant to have a hare hat but I scrapped it and gave her a fox like hat and 2 fox tails!

And also for the noise he is a Bear.

And since I hc noisette as a hello kitty fan so I made hello kitty into goodbye puppy out of boredom (noise gave her the pin)

Next up, the tiny treehouse of my atla girlies! Not canon to their stories as they are both young adults living here BUT, the treehouse represents the orphanage Shen builds after the events of ATLA. This is just more functional for in game purposes aha! Again, original build was found on the gallery but altered by me to suit my needs.
