i want you to know, I am insane about tristian (and pathfinder), and I love seeing all your posts about them and your gameplay no one talks about them at all anymore since it's been years since PFKM came out, I really enjoy looking through your old art, posts, and some of the recent stuff you've shared. thank you so much for sharing your headcanons, ideas, writing, art, ect. it brings me so much joy and I just wanted to tell you this i hope it isn't weird !

Okay I've been sitting on this ask for a few days because I love it soo much and I'm really touched by it. I'm so glad you've enjoyed seeing all my art and shenanigans with Kingmaker!! I haven't posted about it as much because Chloe's run is like pulling teeth.

But also I decided I wanted to draw up a little reference with most of my headcanons written out, both ones I've shared before and ones that have stayed secluded to DMs with @outeremissary, who honestly is the source of a fair bit of my headcanons and has been a wall to bounce ideas off of for the rest.

I have no horse in this race, I just believe in equality and in the interest of fairness, I added Maegar as he is romanceable in Varnhold's Lot.

I don't know who at Owlcat thought making Tristian an ecclesitheurge instead of a regular cleric was a good idea but good god did they do that man a disservice by having (seemingly) the only weapon he can use be fucking scimitars in addition to that. Like, you weren't content with just making it impossible for him to wear anything heavier than a robe, but you also had to make him a frontline fighter for maximum squishy & then no additional spells save more uses of channeling positive energy. If it weren't for the ample heals, Tristian would be a mere rung above liability in a fight.

Don't get me wrong, I like the guy but babysitting the healer to this degree is not how I planned to experience combat. At least as a sorcerer my character can hang out in the back with a crossbow & lobbing spells so I'm away from the bulk of the fighting but buddy is right fucking in there & half the time I can't help but think the enemies are gunning for him.

What's the premise: 1) priests the flowers of life ���� 2) we three are hyperfixating on them 3) Desna, Shelyn and Sarenrae compile the Prismatic Ray pantheon and there must have been a drawing with their km and wotr priests together!

Liesel's trained themself to be skilled at using implication, but for that implication to work requires knowledge of a context that Tristian, in many cases, simply doesn't have!

(And meanwhile being indirect isn't something comes "naturally" to Liesel, but they've done it so often it's become far easier to them than being straightforward.)
