If you fail, don't give up and start again!

Well, I fell off the blog boat… but the beauty of life is the ability to start again.

I set out to write a blog every day for 100 days in order to start a habit. I then got really busy and under loads of work pressure with some welcome work and stopped writing.

I'm sitting at the moment doing some work admin and thinking about this amazing event happening at Abbotsford called Gather25. I'll be going there a little later after work, a subject for another article.

Anyway... concerning me and my (1 post per day, for 100 days) blog.

Every day I didn't write felt like a horrible failure. To understand why such a small thing could make me feel so bad, I would have to explain my history of procrastination... maybe another subject for another blog?

For today's thought though, I'm reminded of my school moto at Hudson Park, "Tentando Superabis" - meaning "By Endeavour We Succeed." Or like we were taught in primary school, "If at first you don't succeed, try, try, and try again!"

So this is me saying, "I'm now starting again!"

My goal: write a blog every day for 100 days to kickstart a habit. I don't know what I'll write about, but at least I have two subjects here already.

My message to whoever is reading this is, "Don't allow failure to have the final say!" Whether large or small use your failures as teachers and learn from them and then take a deep breathe and re-start, re-launch, or re-whatever and do that thing that you want to do!!!
