It’s been a hot sec since I posted here (totally didn’t forget Tumblr exists. Again.)

ANYWAYS, this was a quick study I did on a flight about a week ago, which I used to revive my VERY old art account that I abandoned on Insta over a year and a half ago (hence the different name on the watermark, as that is what the other insta account besides the one with this same name is on called)

I’m hoping to maybe do some SPN studies soon too! So, stay tuned? (Problem is I’m currently moderating a zine, making graphics for said zine, doing an art trade, two freebie customs, starting a Secret Cupid, making adopts, AND running a fundraiser for LA Wildfire victims. Plus maybe making a Discord server (👀). So yeah, it’s a lot. I’m kinda burnt out, but I gotta keep going! (Even if school starts again next week and that’s gonna be the end of me AHHHHHHHHHHHH))

had a busy day outside of my cave today so i did a quick drawing of Sun from my hairdresser AU "New 'Do, Same You" and tried yet another way of doing lineart, and decided to shade it with marker, and forgot my fineliners are water-based, and smudged the lines, and--

The different and sometimes tiring types of reactions to the neil gaiman allegations

- ‘neil didn’t write good omens’ (he did and we simply have to learn to separate art from artist)

- ‘how dare you think about anything else but the victims’ (people can care about multiple things at once + these allegations have been known for months and months?? some of us have processed this)

- ‘how do david/michael/etc feel about this’ (it’s none of our business)

- ‘donate to victims of sa’ (sure if you can)

- ‘bdsm is fine WITH consent’ (it is)

- ‘everyone is innocent until proven guilty and i refuse to condemn him’ (go read the article / enjoy being blocked by me)

- ‘his writing was always Problematic’ (learn to separate art from real life victims of sexual abuse please)

- ‘his writing can still mean a lot to you without you being a bad person’ (yes. just try to avoid giving him money maybe)

did yall know staff posts override blocked tags? because there's been several times that staff has done a spotlight post with a tag I've blocked and it shows up on my dash completely uncensored anyways and I feel like that's kind of Not Okay.
