TSM Birds

This was actually part of a far more ambitious project (I wanted to make them function like baby dragons! But I didn’t even get them to show up like that :/) While poking around in the files however, I found that TSM equipped its birds with sitting poses, which could be really useful for storytelling. (Also I remembered @tyrellsimsoficeandfire mentioning something like this and also I’m still thinking about that story about Leanne the falconer/spy.)

Anyway, these are in Misc Decor, but more on the expensive side, so they’re easily found by scrolling up from the bottom of the list.

They’re supposed to be placeable on fences, but to place them like I’ve done here, you’ll need Moveobjects on. If they’re placed on a plain surface, the tails will disappear into the floor.

Included are the Falcon, Mechanical Falcon and Parrot all with open and closed wings. The falcons and parrots have four presets, the mechanical falcons only one, and they’re all not recolourable with Create a Style.

The fourth TSM bird, the skeleton parrot has been converted by Murfeelee. The open-winged falcon has also been converted before but it was easier to reconvert it than to hunt up a working link.

TS3: TSM Fishing Pole & Bobber

I just thought TSM fishing pole looks pretty nice and wished to replace the TS3 one with it. Than I noticed that the bobber should also be replaced and I did this too. Than more TSM to TS3 than better (¬‿¬ )

Medieval Reward Icons Default Replacement for TS3

Part 2 of my medieval fantasy icon replacement is here! This time it’s for the rewards that you can purchase with lifetime happiness points. This mod will replace almost all purchaseable lifetime rewards for human and supernatural sims with new medieval fantasy themed pictures on a beige background. The icons were made using pics from The Sims Medieval, Sims 3 and 4 (huge thanks to TheSimKid on MTS for uploading extracted S4 icons, I used a lot of them in this project), and also a few free stock images. The only rewards I didn’t replace were the rewards from Into The Future, as they are time travel-specific and I thought leaving them as they are will be more authentic. As usual, if you want to replace some of the icons with your own pictures, message me for the templates.

If you don’t have any UI replacements in your game:

put the file in your mods/packages folder

If you have a UI replacement:

put the file into your mods/overrides folder, or better yet, open your main UI mod in s3pe and import my mod into it to merge them together and overwrite any reward images that your main UI mod has. This is a more reliable option.

This mod is completely standalone from my first mod, they don’t conflict with one another, but you can safely merge them together to save some space.

TSM to TS3 Conversion of Random Medieval Garments

A TSM to TS3 conversion compilation of several previously unconverted clothes for all your Sims! I finished this project about two months ago but wanted to save it for a special occasion... and what's more special than a followers' gift? lol. Hope you like it!

Based on my testing, I haven't found any issues with the clothes. They mostly use the same bone assignment system, and the only difference is how TSM handles skirts, which I adapted for TS3. If you come across anything, please let me know!

LIGHTING GLITCHES ONLY APPEAR ON CAS! (THE BURNT PAJAMAS LOOK ESPECIALLY BAD THERE)

* Note that teens and elders have neck gaps. This is sadly the price for having them available! For teens, try using this and this slider by gruesim! I might convert these for those specific age groups someday, but for now, I just activated them!

NOTES (PLEASE READ):

As mentioned before, April played a significant role in this project, not only with her support but also with her contributions! The Commoner White Dress was primarily converted by her, and it comes in two versions: the regular one and one with a floor-length skirt! She also added extra presets to certain clothes, such as the Flowing Dress (purple), which has three lace variations! Once again, thank you, April!

IMPORTANT: Except for the burned pajamas for female Sims, you'll need to use the invisible shoes mesh by @danjaley​​, which you can find here! This is because TSM clothes have feet/shoes attached to them!

In the "Making Sims 3 Medieval" server, I saw an idea for making the Altar Necklace outfit (the one with the cross necklace and purple details) more historically accurate, along with directions on how to do it! So, for those who enjoy super realistic medieval gameplay, I included an edit aiming to achieve that, as shown in the preview! It's only available for male Sims. Hope you enjoy it!

The polycount for all the clothes is relatively low, as they were made similar to TS3's clothes. So don't worry about that and use them without hesitation!

All the clothes have 3-4 recolorable channels! They have many overlays, but I hope that won't bother you because I made everything I wanted to recolor recolorable!

These conversions have a different thumbnail style! I wanted to retain the original TSM thumbnails but added my logo to let you know these are mine! Here's an example thumbnail + the collaborative dress between me and April:

I am really having a shit time finding rococo and baroque conversions for TS3 males and children (women are fine) to the point I keep feeling like I might have to call off the challenge until I find some suitable stuff... I made a website!

Now you've probably seen the attempt before, people getting mad at tumblr and then making a 'Simblr' (Tumblr clone). Though, despite tumblr being sometimes a bit frustrating because of their changes, that's not why this site came to be...

I wanted a place where Storytellers, Creators, and just generic sim players can all be together and get the exposure and fun that they deserve.

Not only that, but also for a place where the TSM community and TS1 can belong somewhere too without the use of a forum.

And eventually, I hope we can make it the home for Life by you and Paralives when that comes out :)

Plus, it's also NSFW friendly! While the site is initially PG-13, we've got tags and profile settings that allow you to browse NSFW items as well.

Mods

I've specifically made filters for different games, and their needs in mind. For example, for TS2 there are so many awesome game fixes out there and clean templates, that you'll be able to navigate and find this easily.

Not only that, items can also be put in multiple categories! Especially great if you've uploaded a set!

You can also find Testers wanted only mods here if you feel like helping out fellow simmers with testing!

NOTE:

Mods do go through a "queue", but not in the same way as you may have experienced on MTS or TSR. I merely check if it's flagged as NSFW correctly, and then it's good to go! :) So the waiting time will be much less!

It's really difficult to find new Sim stories or Legacies on Tumblr, let alone for these writers to get people to read their awesome stories! Hopefully this should make the process much easier now!

What about moderation?

While there's a report system in place, and the items in the queue are checked for NSFW, but users could still turn their non-NSFW to a NSFW, items may be stolen. So do report these as that will never be condoned!

Additionally, all comments you get on your mods, story, etc. Those are primarily moderated by you. You can delete them, you can turn comments off even if you'd like. If things really go wrong, you can always ask an admin.

color wheel and body morph compatibles, In order to unlock all clothing for ur heroes u need to either use "TestingCheatsEnabled on" in game and then "DisableClothingFilter on" OR edit the commands.ini file that u can find in "The Sims Medieval\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Ini" REPLACING THE 0 WITH 1 TO ACTIVATE IT

u can also use a cmar mod, that lets u pick the option " get undressed" or "get dressed", if u have issues seeing the clothes in game after cas, which u can grab here: Download - MEGA

Medieval Hose Pants - Updated & improved
