You know what, call it a "hot take" or whatever but when it comes to character designs in My Hero Academia, my favorite ones are the female character designs.
If you asked me which designs I like the most the list with mostly consist of the female characters.
That isn't to say I hate the male ones because I do have favorites and some female designs don't catch my eyes as much.
But just like in general of hairstyles, eye colors, skin tones, the vibes... whatever I find myself more attentive to the female character designs than I am for the male ones.
#im sorry if you asked me best white haired character who worked it the best I'm going to say miruko#not changing my mind you can't change my mind#toga's design is definitely eye catching to me you know for the longest i wanted to wear my hair like that#when tooru's design got revealed... THAT FUCKING HAIR!! THOSE LASHES! MATCHES HER VIBES WELL!!#ASHIDO!!#burnin is my favorite fire person design like yes go beyond using fucking typical fire colors and give claws and fangs#mrs koda showed up for like 2 or 3 scenes and she won my heart over#when i think of 'loving caring mothers with big hearts' inko is a design i like think of from when she was younger to now#that one newslady with the one hand that has claws? i don't know the deal there but i love it#I'm sorry but la brava works the dark eye circles the best#freaking love the heart beat like in jiro's hair#i want to hold tsuyu in my hands every time i see her SHE HAS BIG HANDS#just kiya's thoughts#bnha#mha#boku no hero academia#my hero academia

Since Toga has slit pupils instead of round ones, headcanon that she has the vision differences that come with them.
Better depth perception.
Wider peripheral vision.
Slit pupils are usually found on eyes designed for low light vision, so she could possibly have better night vision than a regular person.
She may also see color better at night.

Personally, I'm of the opinion the slit pupils and fangs do make her a heteromorph that looks human enough to avoid the heteromorph discrimination. Heteromorphs are defined as having a 'visible mutation' that's related to their Quirk and those traits she has are predator traits that are definitely Quirk-related if you consider the fact the her eyes give her a better hunting advantage and the fangs are more suited to biting and drawing blood than regular human teeth.
10/10 would not have been surprised if it was revealed she could run/maneuver on all fours like Tsuyu and Spinner occasionally do.

Week 9
Names:
Throughout last week and continuing on this week, the students have been training - a lot. Mainly incorporating quirks into their combat and gaining more control over their quirks. Shouto, Tenya, and Momo are the best in this aspect, as they've all had prior experience. Mashirao and Tsuyu are very competant as well, as are Eijirou and Fumikage.
Denki and Mina struggle the most, hesitating to use their quirks each time. At this point, the staff have already assured them that the villains were able to survive their quirk usage, (though they're all heavy disfigured or disabled as a result, which is being kept secret from them), but the fact that it came close was enough for them to be traumatised from it.
However, Denki is slowly improving his quirk usage, using small shocks to disturb his opponents when he lands a hit. When Momo notices his improvement, he tells her that it was because of Izuku's analysis.
Bakugou, once again, is stuck with a dummy rather than an actual sparring partner. Eijirou approaches him, asking to meet him after school finishes. At first, he doesn't respond, mulling over it, but agrees eventually.
-
During Heroic Foundations (Written), Aizawa informs the kids that they'll be choosing hero names now to use for the Sports Festival, just for the little bit of anonymity. To do this, 1-A meet with 1-J, who are part of the management/business course.
This is to help 1-A learn more about managing their public image, while also helping 1-J gain a bit more experience in actually managing (future) heroes.
During this crossover, each students is paired with another so the management kids can advise the heroic students and draft a few ideas for hero names. They also bring the designs for their suits so the management kids can pick a fitting name.
Izuku is paired with Mikosu Saki, a girl with long, light-blue hair and yellow eyes, almost gold, and white gloves. She's a bit quiet, more on the introverted side, but once they actually start the project, she displays a lot of passion for management.
They go through a lot of names, with Saki throwing away all of his names to do with All Might, such as Mighty Man, Small Might, and so on. She tells him that it won't be until his third year that his name will be permanent, but it's better to choose a solid name now so he can get his name out easier.
Izuku deliberates on this, but he's unable to come up with a good-enough name. At least, nothing that appeals to him.
Saki then asks a simple question.
"What do you want to achieve through being a hero?"
Izuku is stunned for a moment, because people have asked why he wants to be a hero, (Tomura comes to mind, and he stifles a wince at the thought), but nobody has really asked about the outcome he desires.
Saki then goes onto explain the backstory behind other heroes' names. All Might once claimed to have chosen his name to express how he was to use 'all of his might' to save people. Present Mic chose his name as a little nod to say that he will be there, in the 'present', and to his quirk. Mount Lady decided on her name after classmates claimed they'd 'climb her like a mountain' and she wanted the sex appeal.
She asks him what he wants to show by becoming a hero.
Izuku thinks about this. He wants a lot. He mainly wants to become a hero because he wants to save people. That's all. But he also wants to show that it was possible, to be a spark of hope for everyone who was told they were 'too weak' to even dream of becoming a hero. He wants to show that strength is not a necessity to becoming a hero. That his intelligence was just as strong as All Might's fist.
... That the quirkless aren't powerless. He remembers the villains at the USJ, spitting out the word 'Kyou' like it was trash, a name that was branded onto him just as 'Deku' was, and it comes to him just like that.
"Kyou," he says, and Saki nearly jumps out of her seat from the shock of it all. He quietly reveals that he's quirkless to her, making sure the other 1-J students don't hear, and she tries to relax when people start to look over.
"Why that?" she asks, instead of some sort of insult or accusation, which makes Izuku feel so damn relieved. "People would be calling you that no matter what now, even if they don't know."
He knows that already. He knows that this slur will be thrown at him from every which way if he chooses this name, and he knows that it would quickly reveal to the pro heroes at the Sports Festival that he's quirkless... But it's the name he wants.
"Kyou, meaning hollow," he mumbles, but Saki can hear it nonetheless. "But it doesn't have to mean that. Kyou can also name education."
And he intends to edcuate hero society. He intends to teach them all that quirkless does not mean powerless. if he manages to climb the rankings, if he's able to be recognised as a hero, it will become that much harder for 'Kyou' to be used as an insult.
"Kyou will stop being a slur, and it will be known as the name of the first quirkless hero."
Saki eyes him, her heart still racing from the idea. After a moment of silence, she tells him about her quirk. It's called Prediction, and allows her to gain vague details about a person ten-year-later if she touches them. She asks if he's okay with her using her quirk on him.
Izuku agrees, and she peels off her gloves, then takes his hand.
At once, in a split-second, she sees it. We don't see everything she does, only seeing small flashes, of Izuku laughing freely with two others, (too blurry to see who those figures belong to), of him in the middle of some sort of passionate speech, of him with a small figure as he hugs them tight.
She sees all this in the time it takes her to blink, and she comes back to the present, removing her hand from Izuku's.
"Yeah," she says, writing onto Izuku's whiteboard. "Let's go with that, Kyou."
When she says it, Izuku sort of expects to flinch. He expects some level of hurt. But there's none of it. No, all he feels is warmth, and he wonders if the quirkless percentage will feel the same when he gets his name out there.
After the name is decided, they start ideating a tagline to go with it, as most heroes have.
When the lesson hits the half-way mark, Aizawa and Ectoplasm, (who teaches 1-J), have the students present their hero names to the class.

Target:
The next day, as 1-A are about to leave for the day, a large group awaits them outside of their classroom, (unintentionally blocking the one of 1-B's exits, forcing them to leave through the back one), all looking at them with a mix of disdain and envy. The headache builds before they even speak.
When they do speak, that headache worsens immediately, as they all speak over each other, accusing them of being attention-seekers, challenging them, or wanting to get a look at the USJ-survivors.
One and a half weeks. That's all it took before the student body decided to crack and the dam fell apart. Throughout that time, 1-A have been... on-edge, to say the least. It's not that easy to forget how terrified they were, and how ashamed they were to have to rely on heroes when that was exactly what they were trying to become.
Yet, there they were. Students from all different classes, in their faces, unable to be decent to any extent.
In the back, Bakugou scowls at the crowd, ready to burst, but quickly decides against it, recalling the several warnings on his behaviour, and instead thinks about leaping out of the window to escape them, not caring about being on the top floor.
1-A are trying whatever they can to get the group to disperse, especially Tenya and Momo, (as the class representatives), but it becomes a bit too much and Tooru snaps first, yelling, "Move!", followed by a shallow threat of making them.
"Wow," a purple-haired kid, Shinsou Hitoshi, drawls, his baggy eyes dragging over them, his head tilted up as though he was looking down on them. "You survive one villain attack and become this egotistical?" He sneers at them, like he was looking at a pile of trash on the street. "A bit of attention makes you like this already, huh?"
Izuku faintly recalls meeting him in the entrance exam - the kid who had a brainwashing quirk and helped an actor get to safety.
He goes on, mocking them, either unaware or deliberately ignoring how Tooru was clearly beginning to tremble with the rest of 1-A's becoming less uncomfortable and more frustrated. Shinsou just goes on, telling them to watch out, claiming that they only got into 1-A due to having strong quirks and the entrance exams favoured strong quirks and looked over quirks like his.
At this, Mina hears her final thread snap.
"Oh, shut up already!" she yells, silencing him, though he appears less shocked by her outburst and more smug. "You really think you can say the exam was biassed towards us?" She gestures around them, particularly to those without a typically strong quirk. "You think you can say that when you look like a damn twig!?"
Shinsou scowls, unwilling to back down. "If I had a strong quirk-"
"Then what?" Denki coldly cuts in, face red with anger. "Let me tell you something, buddy: Tsuyu has a frog mutation. Iida has engines in his calves. Jirou blasts sound waves. Mineta has sticky balls for hair. Ojirou has a tail, fluffy as it is. Sero has sticky tape for elbows."
Shinsou falters as Denki challenges him to call them typically strong quirks.
"They passed the exam because they trained for it! They didn't just rely on their quirks like you apparently do, you stick-figure-looking piece of-!"
"Kaminari-kun!" Izuku cuts him off before he says anything indecent, but his eyes are fiery as he meets Shinsou's. "... Do you think the USJ attack was fun?" Shinsou says nothing. "Do you think we wanted to be attacked? Do you think we wanted to watch our teacher get beaten to an inch of his life? Do you think I wanted to be tortured by some superhuman creature? Do you think we wanted that? Because let me tell you, we didn’t.” He glares, not even noticing how many students backed away as a result. “We nearly died. I spent a day in a hospital bed believing I did. That attack isn’t something any of us hold pride in. You want to beat us in the festival? Go ahead. But,” -at this point, he levels his glare at the Shinsou- “Do you really think you can beat us? When you’ve put no effort?”
Shinsou bares his teeth, scowling. “No effort?” he hisses, his anger rising once more. “I’m sorry I don’t have a flashy, physical quirk like the rest of you–”
“Flashy?” Izuku scoffed, rolling his eyes. “Hagakure-san is invisible. Ojirou-kun has a tail. Kouda-kun can control animals. Tell me how that’s supposed to help them kill a robot?” Shinsou goes quiet. “Simple: it doesn’t. It’s hard work and effort that helped them pass the exam. You haven’t worked out a single time, have you?” He gestures to his noodle arms, making Shinsou hide them behind his back. “You rely too much on your quirk. Do you even know how to throw a punch?” Shinsou blushes. “Before you declare war, claiming that your quirk just wasn’t suited for the entrance exam, how about you take a good look at yourself and ask if you really have what it takes.”
Izuku lifts his sleeve up, showing the horrible, jagged scar running down his forearm.
“I got this from one villain. Our teacher can cancel quirks with a single look and he nearly died. Mic-sensei is one of the most versatile heroes when it comes to ranges, and he nearly died. Snipe-sensei can control where his bullets land, yet he was nearly killed by the very bullets he fired. Thirteen-sensei can create blackholes and they nearly died. Even All Might struggled. And you think it was fun? Why don’t you start lifting before you start spitting?”
With that, he pushes through the crowd, Ochako and Tenya following after him. Ochako sends Shinsou a mighty glare as she walks past, making his face scrunch up as she did.
Behind the crowd, Neitou barks out a laugh at Shinsou's face, and walks the other way with 1-B at his side.

Calling In:
Chobatsu Osamu, the disciplinary leader in the student council, notices a student speaking quietly into a phone, eyes darting around the place.
He can't hear the conversation on either line, only hearing the student in fragments.
"I know..."
"That's not-!"
"... But I didn't-"
Suspicion arose, and he walked to the staff office. The teachers turned to him as he entered, but he simply turned to Mic. "I would like some advice for English," he lies, and Mic understands immediately.
They walk out together, their voices low as Osamu informs him of the conversation he overhead.
-
Notes:
You can probably guess where I'm heading with Mic, if you couldn't tell where it was going in the previous update
I'm alive, don't worry, and I will get to asks as soon as I have the motivation to do them. Sorry for anyone who's been waiting for the answers
Shinsou pisses me off so much :)
Conclusion:
Students pick hero names here to avoid real names being used during the Sports Festival
Shinsou gets called out by Izuku, Mina and Denki
The Student Council picks up on suspicious activity. This is not reported to Midnight, but to Mic

What's your favorite mutation, whether visually or in general thought of design? Mine is Koda's rocky head cause it looks cool, but I also like the sorta metamorphosis thing his family has with their horns.
If we're doing ones affected by Quirks, Centipeder and Gang Orca are up there. A lot of the Mutant Quirks in the series are pretty subdued in how they affect people, so it's nice to see real monstrous designs. On the flip side, Pony and Tsuyu win as the cutest designs. There's just something so endearing about their big eyes and how their animalistic traits are integrated into their shapes. Ibara is one I really like. Besides how cool her hair is, I really like how it forms a crown of thorns around her head in a reference to her religious personality. Shoji has such a distinct look for his power, having these giant webbed arms of ever shifting body parts. It's equal parts horrific and amazing without going overboard. I think Mina is my favorite overall. It's just something that immediately sticks out in a crowd with her pink skin, black eyes, and horns. And I like how it's later revealed she's like that way because of her Quirk, with her pink skin acting as a defensive feature. Still not sure on the horns though.

MHA X READER WITH ATOM EVE´S POWERS
Words: 3,735 Warning: cursing
Chapter 4
The day goes by pretty normally: English with Present Mic, math with Ectoplasm, and literature with Cementoss. Now, it’s finally time for lunch, and I’m with Jirou, Yaoyorozu, and Mina. We all stand in line, chatting. “I still can’t believe Lunch Rush is the school chef,” Jirou says, shaking her head. “I know, right!?” Mina exclaims, practically bouncing with excitement as she gestures wildly.
“Well, having top heroes as our teachers does suit U.A. perfectly,” Yaoyorozu adds calmly as we move closer to the front of the line.
I smile, thinking back on my first impression of Yaoyorozu. At first, I thought she was just a typical, stuck-up rich girl, but she’s actually really sweet and caring. In fact, she’s kind of like the mom of our group.
We grab our food and find a table to sit at. As soon as we settle in, we pick up our conversation right where we left off.
“I can’t wait to meet All Might,” I say, smiling. “He was one of my favourite heroes growing up. “
That sets us off, and soon we’re all excitedly sharing stories and gushing about our favourite heroes from childhood. Soon lunch ends and we go to class. Now we have basic hero training.
"I am... coming through the door like a hero!" All Might announces grandly, and everyone in the room sounds super impressed. I must admit, I’m just as excited as everyone else seeing him in person feels surreal. But when I take a closer look at All Might and examine his genetic material, I notice something strange—his quirk genes are identical to Midoriya's. Could they be father and son? No, stop thinking about it. He also appears to be injured.
"So, he is a teacher here, this year is going to be totally awesome!" Kirishima holds up a fist excitedly.
"Hey, look. Is he wearing his Silver Age costume?" Tsuyu askes looking at the costume as he marches in.
"I'm getting goosebumps, it's so retro." Ojiro voices.
"Welcome to the most important class at U.A. High. Think of it as "Hero-ing 101." Here, you will learn the basics of being a pro. And what it means to fight in the name of good! Let's get into it. Today's lesson will pull no punches!" All Might announces showing a card with battle written on it.
"Fight in the name of good." I wonder if All Might truly believes in the concept of good and evil. The idea that good and evil exist feels like a delusion to me. Not everything is simply black and white. How would one even define what is truly good or evil? At what point does a good deed cross the line into something harmful? I wish I could ask him these questions, but I don't want to come off as a troublemaker or make him dislike me. I think for a long while, lost in my thoughts, but Bakugo’s voice suddenly snaps me out of it.
“Fight Training!" Bakugo enthused.
"Real combat?" Izuku askes surprised.
"But one of the keys of being a hero is... Looking good! These were designed for you based on your Quirk registration forms and the requests you sent in before school started." All Might announces as the panels in the wall pull out revealing numbered cases. "Get yourself suited up and then meet me at Training Ground Beta!"
We all head to the locker rooms to change. The girls' locker room is filled with chatter and excitement. As we step out onto the training grounds, we hear All Might's voice.
"They say that clothes make the Pros, you ladies and gentlemen, and behold, you are the proof! Take this to heart, from now on you are all... Heroes in training! This is getting me all ramped up. You look so cool! Now, shall we get started, you bunch of newbies?"
The clothing allowance. Before we enrolled in U.A. we submitted our Quirk registration forms, which included physical measurements and any desired costume designs to an exclusive clothing company designated by the school. With all that info, they created state-of-the-art costumes for us.
This is My Suit:

I walk over to Midoriya. “Hey, your costume is a tribute to All Might, right? You look like a super cute bunny in it,” I say, and he starts to blush, quickly denying that he looks cute.
“It is a tribute to All Might and I—” He’s cut off by Bakugo.
“Hey nerd, you better pray that they don´t make us fight against each other,” Bakugo says as he walks off.
“What is his problem?!” I ask, furious on Midoriya’s behalf and ready to confront Bakugo.
“He’s always been like that since we were kids. Please don’t start a fight because of his comments,” Midoriya says timidly.
“Wait, you guys were childhood friends? And even if he was, that doesn’t mean he gets to treat you like that!” I yell, then realize I’ve raised my voice and quickly apologize. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to yell at you. Sometimes I get really opinionated and speak without thinking. I’m trying to work on that, and anyway, it’s none of my business.”
“No, you have it all wrong. Thank you for being angry for me. Besides, trying to get justice for people is what a hero does,” he says with an adorable smile. “And I’ve been meaning to ask, what’s your quirk?”
“Oh, my quirk is Subatomic Manipulation. It allows me to sense and alter matter and energy at the sub-atomic level, but it drains the fat and nutrients in my body,” I explain.
He starts scribbling in his notebook, muttering about the potential of my quirk. “What have you got there?” I ask, curious.
“Oh, it’s my hero analysis notebook,” he replies, showing me the notes he’s taken about our classmates. We chat a little longer before I leave.
"Whoa, your costume is super cute!" Mina says, adjusting her own suit.
"Thanks! Yours is great too—it has a retro vibe," I reply, turning to face All Might.
"Sir," Iida raises his hand in his hero suit, which completely covers him, "this is the fake city from our entrance exam. Does that mean we’ll be conducting urban battles again?" he asks.
"Not quite." All Might holds up two fingers like he's making a peace sign. "I’m moving you two steps ahead. Most of the villain fights you see on the news happen outside, but statistically, run-ins with the most dastardly evildoers actually happen indoors. Think about it: backroom deals, home invasions, secret underground lairs. Truly cunning criminals hide in the shadows. For this exercise, you’ll be split into teams of heroes and villains."
"Isn't this a bit advanced?" Tsuyu asks.
"The best training happens on the battlefield! But remember, you can't just punch a robot this time. You’re dealing with actual people now," All Might points out.
"Sir, will you be the one deciding who wins?" Momo Yaoyorozu asks.
"How much can we hurt the other team?" Bakugo demands.
"Do we need to worry about the losers getting expelled, like earlier?" Uraraka asks nervously.
"Will you be splitting us up based on chance or comparative skill?" Iida suggests.
"Isn't this cape très chic?" Yuga Aoyama comments.
"I wasn't finished talking!" All Might interrupts, though I think they’re all fair questions. I’m starting to notice our class doesn’t have much regard for raising hands or waiting to speak.
"Listen up," All Might continues, "The situation is this: The villains have hidden a nuclear missile somewhere in their hideout. The heroes must try to foil their plans. To do that, the good guys either must catch the evildoers or recover the weapon. Likewise, the bad guys succeed if they protect their payload or capture the heroes. Time is limited, and we'll choose teams by drawing lots!" All Might holds up a box.
"Isn't there a better way?" Iida questions.
"Think about it! Pros often have to team up with heroes from other agencies on the spot, so maybe that's the reason we're seeing that here," Izuku suggests.
"Yes, I see. Life is a random series of events. Excuse my rudeness." Iida bows, and All Might turns away from us.
"No sweat. Let's draw!" All Might says. I draw “I”team and see that I’ll be teaming up with Mashiro Ojiro, whose Quirk is his impressive tail.
"I declare that the first teams to fight will be..." All Might begins as he reaches into two boxes—one marked "Villains" and the other "Heroes"—and pulls out names. "These guys!" he announces. "Team D for villains: Bakugo and Iida, versus Team A: Uraraka and Midoriya as the heroes. Everyone else can head to the monitoring room to watch," All Might instructs.
"Yes, sir!" We all respond in unison. It´s little moments like these that make feel like I´m truly a part of this class. I watch the monitors as the battle begins, squeezing my hands together as Bakugo attacks, coming out of nowhere. Midoriya dodges, his mask shattering as he tackles Uraraka out of the way of the attack.
"He almost got the jump on them," Mineta remarks.
"A sneak attack, Bakugo? What kind of man pulls cheap moves like that?" Kirishima complains, clenching his fist and punching his other hand. “There is nothing as dishonourable in a real fight.” I tell Kirishima.
"It's a smart strategy. He’s playing the part, acting like a true villain," All Might suggests.
"It didn’t work! Midoriya dodged him!" Mina cheers.
"Look, there he goes!" Denki points out as Bakugo charges at Midoriya. Bakugo yells, swinging his right arm, but Midoriya rushes in and grabs it. Uraraka cheers as Midoriya flips Bakugo over his shoulder, slamming him onto his back. I watch in awe, amazed at the display.
"Hey, who’s Bakugo talking to? I can’t hear anything. Can we get some sound on this video?" Kirishima asks.
"He’s got a radio in his ear so he can communicate with his partner. I gave it to him before the match started, along with a map of the building. Also, this." All Might explains, pulling out a roll of tape. "A roll of capture tape! And now they’re out for the rest of the game."
"So, there’s a 15-minute time limit, and the good guys have no idea which floor the nuclear weapon is hidden on, right?" Mina adds.
"Correct!" All Might agrees.
"Then the heroes are clearly at a disadvantage here. A big one!" Mina points out.
"Real pros have to outwit villains on a daily basis. That’s life. Even when the odds aren’t in our favour, we fight! All together!" All Might exclaims, raising his hand.
"Let’s hear a Plus Ultra!" we all shout.
"Monsieur, he's on the move," Aoyama points out, watching the screens as Bakugo charges at Midoriya again. Uraraka is likely off to find Iida while Midoriya uses the capture tape to catch one of Bakugo's wrists. Bakugo turns and tries to kick at Midoriya midair with an explosion, but Izuku dodges once more.
"The little guy's really good!" Sato says, clenching his fist.
"He's holding his own, and he hasn’t even used his quirk yet!" Sero adds. "Probably because he breaks his bones every time, he uses it," I reply.
“It can’t last. Even if Izuku uses his knowledge of Bakugo´s moves to predict what he’ll do, Bakugo´s already adapting to that knowledge. He may seem impulsive, but that’s because he thinks so quickly. The second he breaks from his pattern, Midoriya won’t be able to react fast enough in close quarters to avoid the explosions. He’ll seek distance,” I say, and as I do, Midoriya turns and starts to run. For once me being nosy and liking watching people has come in handy.
“That guy has some real anger issues. Kinda scary,” Kaminari voices.
"I said Midoriya would seek distance, but I never said distance would work." I warn, and as Midoriya steps out, everyone turns back to the screens. We watch as Bakugo lifts his arm, pulling back on the trigger, revealing a pin.
"Young Bakugo! Don't do it! You'll kill him!" All Might yells, but Bakugo ignores him that little shit, pulling the pin. The explosion erupts, destroying the hall and shaking the entire exterior of the building, even rattling the viewing room where we’re watching.
"Whoa, this is nuts," Kirishima says, clearly amazed.
"Come on, come on, Midoriya!" All Might calls out.
"How the hell did he do that?" Mina asks, her voice filled with confusion.
"Nitro-glycerine. Bakugo sweats it, and the gauntlets are designed to store his sweat. His quirk sparks the sweat, so the more nitro sweat he has, the bigger the explosion," I explain.
Everyone looks at me strangely, so I quickly continue my analysis. "Midoriya showed me his hero analysis notebook. There were several pages with information about Bakugo and his quirk. And his costume has gauntlets on his arms. At first, it seems like a stylistic choice, but he doesn’t seem like the type if you look closer, you can see some that it is kind of storing device. This is how I came to my conclusion."
Wow, when I say it out loud, I sound so smart. But this was just a lucky guess. I really hope they don’t think I’m some kind of genius and start asking me questions. I can’t handle these kinds of expectations. “How Smart,” Yayorozu Complements.
"Sir, isn't this getting out of hand? Bakugo is acting insane! He's going to kill him!" Kirishima voices, worried.
"Bakugo, use that stored-up power again, and I’ll stop this fight. Your team will lose," All Might warns. "To use such a powerful attack indoors is risking the destruction of the very stronghold you’re supposed to be protecting. That’s poor strategy, whether you’re a hero or a villain. The penalty would be a massive loss of points."
Bakugo screams, flying at Midoriya. Midoriya closes his eyes, bracing for the impact, but then Bakugo suddenly faints, changing trajectory midair. He flies over Midoriya, blasting him in the back with an explosion.
"What was that move?" Kirishima asks, confused.
"He doesn't seem like the type to strategize, but he's actually quite intelligent," Todoroki says calmly.
"What do you mean?" Kirishima responds, still puzzled.
"He changed his trajectory mid-air using a blast that doubled as a smokescreen. Very clever," Todoroki explains.
"A feint like that requires extreme precision. He had to calculate the physics and show control over his Quirk," Yayorozu adds. So, he really is smart after all.
"Ugh, Bakugo is so talented. I hate it," Kaminari complains as Bakugo punches Midoriya in the back, then grabs his arm, throwing him over his shoulder and slamming him into the ground, just like Izuku did to him earlier.
"This is hard to watch. All he has to do is wrap tape around him, not beat him to a pulp," Mina complains.
"Bakugo’s definitely acting more like a villain," Tokoyami suggests. "I thought Midoriya was pretty amazing at the start of the fight, but he’s completely outmatched when it comes to combat power. Not to mention, Bakugo seems like a natural at all this," Kaminari voices, and I frown as Midoriya gets up and crawls—then runs toward the wall.
"He’s running away," Mina voices, shocked.
"Not very manly, but he doesn’t have a choice. He’s outgunned. Unless he’s got some kind of plan. It’s possible..." Kirishima suggests. Bakugo keeps marching toward him, and then Midoriya suddenly runs at Bakugo, his arm glowing.
"They're gonna kill each other, sir!" Kirishima yells.
"Both of you, stop!" All Might calls into the mic. Midoriya´s hand changes direction mid-air, punching upward just as Bakugo blasts him. The force of the explosion shatters the building, sending shockwaves through the entire structure. In the chaos, Uraraka uses the blast to propel debris at Ida, quickly reaching the weapon and touching it. The timer hits zero, and we all stare in shock.
“You did it. The hero Team wins!” All Might announces. Damm that was Intense.
"Your indoor combat training is over! The Hero Team wins!" All Might cheers.
"What a weird way for this to end. The losers are practically untouched, and the winners are both on the ground," Kaminari points out.
"How does the old saying go? They may have lost the battle, but they won the war," Tokoyami quotes.
"This class is intense," Tsuyu adds.
"Well, despite the results, the MVP of this exercise is young Iida," All Might suggests.
"Uh, that's weird," Kaminari complains.
"Shouldn't it be one of the heroes instead, since they’re the winners?" Tsuyu points out.
"Mm! Valid question. Why didn’t I choose one of those two?" All Might asks, raising his hand.
"Sir! I can tell you why! Iida embraced this challenge. He was the only one who truly adapted to his assigned role one who truly a Momo informed raising her hand, "I'll explain. Bakugo's judgment was clouded by a personal grudge against Midoriya. As you pointed out earlier, launching a large-scale attack indoors was a foolish move. It could have been disastrous Similarly, Midoriya's plan was also poorly thought out, considering the amount of damage that he received, he rendered himself helpless. Not smart. As for Uraraka... She let her guard down mid-battle, and her final attack was much too reckless given the hypothetical stakes. If she'd treated the fake as though it were real, she never would've risked using such an imprecise move. Iida was fully prepared for his s opponent's arrival. arrival He had a strategy and never lost s sight of his mission to protect the dummy weapon, even if he was foiled in the end. Technically, the hero team won, yes, but they took advantage of the fact that this was training, they didn't respect the spirit of the trail." Momo explained and then looked at All Might.
"Yes, well, you missed a few things. Young Iida could have relaxed a bit more during the exercise, but other than that, you nailed it!" All Might says, giving her a thumbs up.
"One should always start with the basics and devote themselves wholeheartedly to learning. That's the only real way to become a top hero," Yaoyorozu explains.
"Now, then. Time to move on. Let's get to the next match! Think about everything we saw and discussed as you approach this training for yourselves," All Might orders.
"Yes, sir!" we all respond in unison.
After the first match ended, it was now my teams turn.
"Match two! Team B will be our heroes, and Team I will be the villains!" All Might announces as we stretch.
"Ojiro, your tail's pretty strong, right? you could use it to attack and block any heroes from reaching the weapon," I suggest.
"Yeah, sounds good," Ojiro agrees.
"So, what’s your quirk? Ojiro asks.
"it is called subatomic manipulation. I can pretty much bend Matter to my will.," I reply.
"Look alive, kids! Show us you're the embodiment of good... or evil! Let’s go!" All Might cheers.
"It kinda feels like even our teacher is rooting for the other team," I complain to Ojiro.
"Well, everyone wants good to prevail," Ojiro shrugs.
"Not today, we don’t. Let’s crush them," I encourage, a determined smile on my face.
Before we can react, the ground suddenly freezes, trapping our feet in place.
"Ojiro!" I shout.
"My feet are stuck," Ojiro informs me, struggling against the ice.
"This quirk is insane," he mutters, glancing around, trying to figure out how to break free.
"Don't worry, I’ll unfreeze you," I say, focusing as I activate my quirk, turning the ice beneath us into water. Slowly, the ice melts, freeing our feet.
"Whoa, your quirk is amazing!" Ojiro exclaims, impressed.
I smile, but just as I do, I hear footsteps approaching and I make a shield around the weapon.
"I didn't expect you two to break free so quickly," a voice say. “But it doesn’t matter. I’ll still beat you." Todoroki comes into view. God he is so good looking.
“Cocky, much?” I mutter under my breath. Ok just remember the plan.
Flashback:
“Both our quirks can be used in offense and defence”. Ojiro says
“It would be best if I made a shield around the weapon and we both attack.” I say deeply in thought.
“Why not just make a wall so no can come inside?” Ojiro questioned.
“The shields I make are not indestructible they will eventually break especially if shoji and Todoroki attack at once.”
“Oh yeah, we have to account for our enemy’s strength. Shoji would be the scout because he can make more ears on his arms.”
“And Todoroki would probably attack. I can melt his ice”
End of Flashback
"Wait, where's Shoji?" I ask, firing a ball of energy at Todoroki. He responds quickly, creating a wall of ice to block my attack.
"I don't know. Maybe they're planning a sneak attack," Ojiro says, scanning the area.
I focus, melting Todoroki's ice wall with ease, while Ojiro lashes out with his tail. Todoroki dodges, then freezes Ojiro’s tail mid-swing.
"Ah!" Ojiro yelps as he crashes to the ground, his tail stiff with ice.
"Hang on, I’ve got this!" I say, forming a quick shield around Todoroki, trapping him in place. I immediately focus and melt the ice around Ojiro’s tail, freeing him.
But Todoroki, ever resourceful, breaks through the shield with a series of powerful strikes. Just as he does, Shoji rushes in, appearing from out of nowhere.
"What are you doing here?" Todoroki asks, surprised.
"You were taking too long, so I thought I'd lend a hand," Shoji replies calmly.
Ojiro and I launch our attack, but Todoroki and Shoji dodge easily, and I accidentally get too close to Shoji. He seizes the chance, landing a punch that sends me stumbling back. “Shit!” I yell as I hit the ground. Meanwhile, Todoroki and Shoji double up on Ojiro—Todoroki freezes his feet again while Shoji throws another punch. I scramble to my feet and quickly blast both Shoji and Todoroki, creating just enough space to unfreeze Ojiro.
Seizing the opportunity, Ojiro and I coordinate our moves, launching an attack together. Todoroki quickly creates another ice wall to separate us, but I melt it with a wave of my hand. I trap him again with Todoroki temporarily blocked, Ojiro and I trap Shoji with the capture tape, securing him.
As the timer hits zero, I hear the announcement ring out, confirming our victory.
“We did it,” Ojiro grins, relieved.
After classes end, we all start cleaning up, and Midoriya finally comes back from the infirmary. Everyone rushes over to him, eager to talk, but he gets overwhelmed and quickly asks about Bakugo before leaving. I wait for about 20 minutes before heading out with Mina and Jirou. We decide to go home together, chatting along the way

my GENUINE, UNBIASED opinion on class 2A’s hero costumes!! (MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE NEWEST MANGA CHAPTERS AND STUFF. DONT WATCH IF NOT FULLY CAUGHT UP!)
Momo Yaoyorozu
•the colours are cute!
•but I imagine it’d b VERY easy for villains to like find vital organs and whatnot considering how revealing it is..
•I get that she needs that space for her quirk but I think a zipper would work fine as well??
•also why is there random books on the back😦I don’t think shes gonna have time to read those while fighting!!
•overall: 3/10
Tenya Iida
•how does he move in that😨wouldn’t it be heavy??
•I mean at least it’s protecting all the areas a villain can easily attack and/or kill you at!! (MOMO.)

•overall: 6/10 (for practicality!!)
Katsuki Bakugo

•I love you tho tsu!!
•overall: 6/10
Kyoka Jirou
•oh.
•I disliked jirou’s character for a bit but I can’t remember why at all?? :(
•maybe it’s because she once called dark shadow “stupid bird” or something like that while fighting😡😡😡😡
•but yeah why’s it so like..casual??
•I’d rather it be more like alt or like punk or something
•and what are the things on her hand for??
•I like the jacket tho!!
•overall: 4.5/10
Mashirao Ojiro
•I mean it fits him definitely!!

•AND the cloak helps shade dark shadow so they can recharge energy!!
•ALSO very gothic I think!!🤯
•now…fumi my son I get that it’s like good to be practical but my omigosh
•why’s it ALL black. like maybe the boots could have had some coloured laces or something or the cloak could’ve had like cool bat or bird or whatver design on it just to give SOME colour

Completely missed opportunity for Horikoshi to not have an arc where Midoriya and, at least, Tsuyu, Uraraka, Todoroki, and Iida and maybe even Momo and Aoyama are put into situation where they are forced to work together with the LOV. It could’ve been as easy as having there be a villain group (or maybe a vigilante group) that hate AFO and the LOV, so they try and get rid of the LOV. And somehow Midoriya and the group of students I listed are dragged into the conflict.
This could build up the relationship between Midoriya and Shigaraki. As well as between Toga, Uraraka, and Tsuyu. Then for Shoto and Dabi. And if Aoyama’s there, it could add onto the traitor stuff. Iida and Momo are there to, idk, provide support or something, or maybe there could a call back to the Stain Fight, then there’s a reveal that Midoriya, Todoroki, and Iida are the ones that actually taught Stain and not Endeavor. Iida vs the League of Stain Supporters lol (except Shigaraki technically).
And then there’s the potential fallout of the arc, where a few characters could leave the arc feeling conflicted about where they stand morally and stuff. Also, the potential for some characters to get new scars or to have a slight character design change (idk maybe Momo could get her ponytail chopped off or something)
Grey morality is a soft spot for me, and this would be a great way to explore that. Especially since I also love the unwilling alliance between the heroes and the villains.
Katekyou Hitman Reborn executes this to a great effect, wherein it's not a sudden turn around for the villains to help the heroes - it's just business. It's only done so both of the groups can achieve their goals, and it doesn't serve as a redemption arc either.
I could see this happening if the common enemy was either the HPSC or the PLF. Though, the HPSC would need an actual build-up, and there wasn't much of one in canon.
It certainly would make characters interact, even if there's tension, which would serve to improve the narrative of wanting to save the villains later on. Especially between Izuku, Yuuga, and Tomura; Shouto and Dabi; and Ochako and Himiko.
Tenya facing the Stain-supporters would be so good for his development, especially if they would give a reason as to why Stain targetted Tensei, which could end up breaking his view on heroism as a whole.
Momo could be there to display how an outsider would view this all - seeing her try to use logic to explain how her friends are slowly understanding the villains, and her realising that villains are as human as everyone else. She could also have interactions with Kurogiri, who could challenge her belief that heroes are good and villains are evil.
The fallout would be the juiciest part to write, IMO.
How 1-A would react to them teaming up with the villains and thus being confronted by the idea that the world isn't as black and white as they were brought up to believe.
How the IzuCrew themselves would deal with the fact that they helped villains - the same villains that tried to kill him.
How the LOV would go forth, now seeing the IzuCrew as less of targets and more as humans, some who were hurt just as much as they were, maybe worse, (for Izuku and Shouto).
Maybe Momo interacting with Kurogiri could serve as foreshadowing for the Oboro reveal, and Aizawa and Mic would have to deal with slowly piecing it together.
The scars and new character designs would be cool to think about too. Perhaps Izuku would gain a scar after saving Tomura from an attack, or Yuuga would after stepping into battle properly for the first time. Ochako could gain a scar after feeding Himiko some of her blood to help her during battle. Tenya's skin could be affected, darker or lighter patches appearing like stains. Momo could either, as you said, have her hair chopped off, or maybe her skin would be marred so she wouldn't be able to sell her femininity as well as others.
There's a lot one could do with this idea, and I am once again proven right that fan could write and have written a better story than Horikoshi

Part 6 of :
The first story
You walked into class with Mina,Momo and tsuyu as you say into your designated assigned seats. You look up as your teacher starts giving instructions and you see an ashy blonde walk in,with his shoes dragging slightly on the floor and kirishima and kaminari follow soon after.
You make eye contact with the blonde,as butterflies start forming in your stomach, there was absolutely no way that you had a crush on him.you have to focus on your studies. It wouldn’t be so bad having Katsuki as your boyfriend, right?
You zoned out thinking of that thought, before a blonde pokes you in your stomach to pull you out of your train of thought.
“Focus, this is on next weeks test” Katsuki hummed softly, but loud enough for you to hear him.
“We have a test on this? Shit.”
You hadn’t realized that you even had a test at all,you thought this was all review,no wonder you didn’t know what anyone was talking about.
“Can you help me study? Please?” You whispered as you had a look of desperation on your face.
“What do I get in return?”
No way he was asking for something, maybe a kiss? Wait, why are you considering that? That would be all that bad,you often wonder how his lips would feel and taste.
“A kiss, maybe a make out sesh if I pass the test.”
You could see the way his face lit up as his face stayed the same, nonchalant default mode.
“Sure,my dorm at 7.”
“You’re a lifesaver,thank you!”
Katsuki just hummed in response as you could see the redish blush climb his face as he thought about even having you at his dorm, let alone give him a kiss in return for something someone else like tenya would’ve been happy to help you with for free.
As soon as classes ended around 5,due to your extra curricular activities such as the kindness club you were in,participating in recycling and whatnot to be kind, the whole shabang.
Around 5:58 is when you get home, because you had to stop by Mina’s because you guys had a code red (her boyfriend kirishima had stirred up some trouble with her) and after you gave her some advice and a few encouraging words, you were on your way and Into your dorm to get ready to study with Katsuki.
You change out of your uniform and you put on your flare leggings,a grey sweater, and some white crocs with a few gold accessories, and a vanilla scented perfume. You touched up your makeup and you were on your way around 6:55
You get there at 7 sharp, knocking on the door.
The echoing sounds seem eerie to you,and the door opens to reveal a handsome blondie with a nonchalant expression on his face.
“Cmon,or else you’re gonna fail that test.”
He invites you in and you sit on the corner of his bed.
“Where we gonna study?”
“Sit here” he offers you a spare chair next to the table to put the material that you guys were learning on.
A few minutes in and you were confused as a chicken with its head cut off.
“No dumbass,it’s four because you flip the inequality sign.”
“Maybe if you’d told me the steps first I’d understand it!”
“Not my fuckin fault you were day dreamin about God knows what.”
If only he knew you were thinking of him throwing you on his bed, making out with you.
“Whatever”

Gonna hop on this cause MHA Japans society is Fucked Up and nowhere is that more clear than in the heroics industry.
Miruko is Truely an outstanding hero, both in combat prowess and as a person in general, managing to not only survive but thrive in the hero rankings as a prey based mutant female hero (an utterly Insane combo for the show).
Going over some of the aspects to this we’ll start with her quirk. See, mutants are Heavily descriminated against in mha Japan’s society (even if it was a bit of a tack on it still ends up one of the most blatant societal issues Japan ends up facing). On top of that to have not only a prey animal, but one without tons of extra abilities seen in “strong” mutant quirks (see Tsuyu and Gang Orca)? Honestly it’s a miracle she even got accepted by a hero school considering how slanted tests are towards emitters (seen in the quirks that got into UA, in other hero schools seen in the license exam , and shown in the known hero demographics).
Next up is her gender and how that ties into heroics. While we lack much information on underground heroics, despite having nearly a whole spinoff somewhat connected to it, limelight heroics is a whole nother ball game that we can pick out the rules of. The first is pay (which is worth its own post and at the bottom of this post) and how that impacts what kind of work she can do and how she has to manage her time (badly, facing the prejudice she does she needs to manage her personal time badly. No work-life balance for the bunny). But the second is popularity. Hero’s are judged heavily based on their rankings, likely as part of their social status among hero’s and indirectly influencing their income from brand deals, sponsors, and possibly even evaluation from independent agency’s for hero pay. Very important and not something she’ll easily find success in. Last part is gender, and this is where she’ll especially struggle. Cause female hero’s? Treated Absolutely Awful. It’s utterly insane and they Must have different workplace discrimination laws in place for this garbage to pass. Everything from outfits (revealing, little support, no protection, actively hindering in many cases like high heels and impractical design), to roles in combat (side line supporters, sometimes even put behind regular police and rarely, if ever, pitted against stronger opponents without at least one, usually multiple, supporting (typically male) hero’s as backup, unless they’re facing off against a female villain in which case they Might be left to fight solo, but even then it’s rare), to popularity (almost every Japanese hero is male, and the hero rankings show a massive discrepancy. A freaking washing machine quirk beat out hundreds, possibly thousands, of heros (likely) based primarily on popularity (their quirk isn’t built for the fast efficient take downs work based major heros utilize).
On top of all that it’s likely she comes from a poorer family due to mutants being lineage quirks, rarely changing from one generation to the next compared to emitters. This is cause Mutants straight up don’t have access to as many jobs as emitters and transformation quirks do, with many jobs being based on its relevance to your quirk (seen in Jiros comment about how electric users can work in any number of jobs, most notably power plants, with little problem). Mutants however, despite seeming to have a much stronger base strength than other quirks, are rarely seen, even in jobs that would greatly benefit from them (like the actors in the license exam). Add to this the lack of support from a heroics family (like many known successful heros) and Miriko is getting by with pure grit, determination, and the most fucked up work-life balance Japan has ever seen.
Also I want to add on that it probably stings having so much of her popularity being due to comforming to all these messed up values (the outfit, the lack of support gear (though that could be a more personal choice), and the fact So Much of her popularity is likely due to having a “cute” quirk) and that popularity in turn cementing her image but also her pay check (cause no way is she bringing in the kind of money needed to pay for property damage and top line healing quirks to make up for her reckless style with Just hero work and no sidekicks).
Past this I go into how hero’s get payed. It’s not directly relevant but it is a side tangent I wrote up and feel the need to share.
The first and most important thing is pay, how much money is coming in, out, and how that’s expected to change. While it’s likely different for underground, limelight heros get payed based on their evaluation by independent agencies (though they likely have strong ties to the Commission), with the base pay being based on the type of work (rescue, arrests, and patrols) and the amount of contribution to that work, but is likely also influenced by popularity (as seen in most high ranking heros appearing to be hella rich, though that has ties to the second part). Side jobs. Side jobs are the second aspect to hero pay, relying on the popularity side of heroics as opposed to the job portion the earlier bit is based on. These range from normal jobs (teacher, radio host, etc) to ones dependent on popularity (namely model but potentially other areas). These are likely where most popular independent hero agencies get their money, not being able to support their lifestyle (or gear based on the lack of support gear in many hero’s) or agency without it. More mid sized agencies fall to work based pay, with side income being a secondary factor. Large agency’s like Endeavor and Best Jeanist however seem to rely heavily on one side or another, with the more popularity based hero’s being dependent on brand sells while job focused agencies employing a surplus of sidekicks to rack up numbers to stay afloat (which is why Endeavor actually has time to sleep at night while maintains such a large agency). Next part of pay is output, this is most commonly seen in two ways, sidekick paychecks and damages. Cause unlike independent hero’s that get payed based on the work they do, sidekicks get payed a paycheck (though it’s unclear if this is commission based, hourly, or a mix of the two, but considering Endeavors agency size despite the fact they mostly clean up after him it’s likely either base pay or a mix). This is of course Seperate from teams like the Wild Wild Pussycats, since they remark hero trams split pay equally as opposed to a hierarchy. The second cash pit is damages. Mount Lady remarks that she’s barely out of the red despite being so successful due to her quirk causing so much damage in close quarters in the city, and that she has to pay for any damage to buildings and the like. On top of being Terrifying that these sorts of damages are just glossed over with a (seemingly small) check, this reveals that more destructive hero’s struggle to make it as independents unless they stick to specific niches. Lastly is how income will change, cause it’s pretty fluid outside of the top. Since pay is based on second jobs (eatting into hero time unless it’s a brand) and how much work is done, that means it fluctuates heavily based on how much work is around and how quickly they can snag it (feeding into the stupidly competitive nature of the job). So in the case of a natural lul in activity, the presence of new highly competent hero’s (which probably spikes around graduation and internships or in cases like All Might suppressing local criminal activity), or breaks due to injury (which would lead to a fall in popularity according to the Pussycats, hurting secondary job income and hero rankings, which might indirectly impact pay) hero’s just have to cut losses, rely on savings, or work longer hours. Not great.
🐇"WEAK!"🌙

Today, tonight, whatever time of day it is for you, I want to talk about this moment right here.
I have thoughts about this and I know I touched on this topic before but after updating one of my Miruko fics, I thought about this scene some more and realized something.
Here's the thing with Miruko that I think more people should actually stop overlooking.
If you read BNHA Vigilantes (I recommend it and SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVEN'T), then you would know a bit of Miruko's history.
For those who don't, let me give you a recap of it.
During Miruko's middle school days, she was quite a rowdy one. She would often crash fight clubs and get in trouble for it. Eventually, this lead to her being expelled from her school and taken into custody. Between that time and her high school years, her whereabouts were unknown and I have a theory on that in another post here.

Now this bit of her history is why I think she says "I heard you formed a team. Weaklings."
I don't think she was being "mean" (if anything, I have a feeling that the Lurkers were even formed because of popularity reasons).
I think there's something deeper.
And that is if we dive deeper into her past, the answer is obvious.
Her quirk.
Does it not occur to anyone that Miruko may have been bullied by other people because she has a Rabbit quirk?
Think about it.
What's the first thing you think of when you look at a rabbit? Cute, right? And often how are cute things perceived? As defenseless!
Imagine growing up and people constantly telling you how cute you are, how helpless you look because your quirk gives you rabbit ears and a tail.
Rumi probably got sick of it. She probably started acting out to prove that she isn't some helpless kid (like Izuku). She doesn't have sidekicks, an agency and doesn't work with other Heroes like that because she grew up with the idea she had to carry her own weight and do things on her own so people would stop underestimating her.
Check out her interaction with Rappa.

She may have had to deal with people like him!
Also, not just because of her quirk but also the fact she's female.
Note that there is a lot of male heroes in the industry and the highest ranked female heroes currently are Miruko at #6, Ryukyu at #10 and Mt. Lady at #23. Yet, each of them had to deal with more crap than some of the other heroes. Not just even physical injuries but I bet they have heard some sexist things in their lifetime. Mt. Lady is a starting hero, but so was Kamui Woods and she did more than him during the Kamino incident.
Personally, Miruko is a better hero than the ones ranked above her (both in skill and morals). I'm sticking by that and my mind will not be changed. No, I don't care for a debate about it. You have your opinion and I have mine.
Now, like other kids, I'm sure she idolized admired Heroes, possibly All Might, and wanted to be one. But as it happened to Izuku, she was put down for it because even though she has a quirk, people probably saw it as a "weak" one and that she's a girl.
"Rabbits always running away because they're always scared."
Her motto probably became something like "I'm a rabbit that runs towards the danger, not from it. I am the danger."
Thus lead to her doing what she did in her school days and thinking teamwork is weak. She didn't want people to think she has to rely on others' strengths and to protect herself. She could do that herself.
Think about how she interacts with other Heroes and teamwork. She is cooperative and she doesn't complain ever about working with them. She didn't think twice about helping Endeavor and Hawks out and she didn't protest during the Hospital Raid (or after later in the manga).
And remember when she insists on still fighting and Endeavor told her she done enough?
She probably felt that she still had to keep going, that she had to prove "I'm not helpless, let me still fight" (again, there's that Midoriya).
While it's on my mind, since I touched on Vigilantes.
I also think it's crazy that out of everyone in her past that the one person who did think her quirk was useful was the most evil character in this story and that's All For One.

During chapters 88 - 89 in Vigilantes, AFO is watching the underground fight so he can choose what quirks to steal. However, he (and Kurogiri) was about to call it a lost cause until Rumi showed up and started kicking everyone's asses and changed his mind and attempted to steal her quirk.
That is mad wild to me that she was still training as a Hero, so again another moment of how badass she really is, just a kid and AFO sees this girl with Rabbit ears and a tail and think "I can steal that". Like you got to be one hell of a fighter for AFO to look at you and want to steal your quirk. Rumi took a "weak quirk" and strengthen it and AFO recognized that.

Why isn't Izuku dead? A Discussion on OFA + Secondary Quirk Characteristics
This is something I've wondered ever since the reveal that Hikage Shinomori died from old age at 40, because of the strain from having 2 quirks. The obvious explanation is that a human being cannot possess more than one quirk (unless you're All for One), because they will experience "quirk overload", where the mind (think like in the Nomus) and body (think like in Nine) cannot handle the quirk. This is the reason why only a formerly quirkless person can safely wield One for All.
But there's something missing here.
Izuku is shown to be the only user of One for All to be able to use past user's quirks. All past vestiges had only been able to use their original quirks and the power-stockholding aspect of One for All, even All Might. One For All has also been confirmed to have reached quirk singularity, which only makes the situation more confusing.
There are other people who have been in possession of multiple quirks without becoming Nomus, such as:
All for One
Gigantomachia
Nine
Number 6 (antagonist from My Hero Academia: Vigilantes)
Tomura Shigaraki
Izuku Midoriya
However, Nine, Number 6, and Shigaraki all underwent severe body modification to be able to handle the quirks. Healing quirks, such as Gigantomachia's Endurance, Tomura's Super Regeneration, and Nine's attempt to claim Cell Activation, are also able to undermine the effects of quirk overload. This leaves us with only two "natural" multiple quirks holders:
All for One
Gigantomachia
Nine
Number 6
Tomura Shigaraki
Izuku Midoriya
Izuku's capability to hold multiple quirks can't be attributed to his prior quirklessness, since he now has no less than seven quirks. Born without a quirk or not, that's still being in possession of more than one. By all accounts, Izuku should be braindead, or at the least, aging extremely fast/being in bad health, but he isn't.
Now, let's have a quick talk about Secondary Quirk Characteristics:
What are they? These are quirk characteristics that are inherited by a person even though they may be unrelated to their own quirk.
Fumikage Tokoyami - bird head that is unrelated to Dark Shadow
Koji Koda - rock-like head that has nothing to do with Anivoice
Mina Ashido - horns, eyes, and skin that are not part of Acid
These are usually traits that belonged to a person's ancestors as part of that ancestor's quirk. Sometimes, these traits will compile with others to form a combined quirk (such as Tsuyu Asui's Frog quirk or Shouto Todoroki's tolerance to fire and ice with his Half-Cold Half-Hot).
Secondary Quirk Characteristics can actually be compared to Darwin's Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection. If the trait aids/does not hinder the body's ability to safely use their quirk (and by extension, to survive), then it will be passed on. There is even speculation that the designs of the cast are due to these secondary traits (like the Midoriya's green hair), making them much more colourful than their Pre-Quirk counterparts. This would mean that secondary traits can be inherited by someone regardless of if they are quirkless or not.
How does this relate to Izuku's strange ability to use multiple quirks?
Because of the theory that he is related to All for One (more specifically, the Dad for One Theory).
His ability for holding many quirks can be logically explained by two things:
He could possess a secret quirk that is a fusion between the All for One quirk and Inko's Attraction of Small Objects quirk. If so, the quirk might not express the same holes as in the palms of All for One and Shigaraki, since Izuku could theoretically "pull" quirks towards himself, or it could be another type of AFO-esque power (can gain quirks though DNA-consumption, can pass on quirks like Yoichi, etc). Whatever it could be, it would have to be something that can provide him with the protection from quirk overload. Even AFO might not know about his quirk, since he wasn't able to detect Yoichi's original Transference quirk. This suggests that All for One can't detect quirks that can actually manipulate the DNA of other quirks (unlike Aizawa's Erasure or Monoma's Copy, which just block/copy their effects), or that he cannot detect quirks that are in held by a family member. I don't really which of those it could be, since canon never really explained why Yoichi's original quirk was noticed.
OR
If he is truly quirkless like the series says, he could have inherited a Secondary Quirk Characteristic that allowed him the capacity to possess multiple quirks, even if he was quirkless on his own, making him the perfect vessel for OFA. Plus, it completes the family trio.
All for One - Takes/Gives Quirks
Yoichi - Passes On Quirks
Izuku - Keeps Quirks

I can't explain why, but I'm very excited to play a domestic character and make our friends some packed lunches before they go out demon hunting 🥰
Honestly, I couldn't resist doing this. Please, packing lunches for everyone sounds extremely cute!!
Lana will have the brightest smile on her face the moment she sees the lunchbox. No really, her smile is extremely blinding and she really, really wants to hug you for the food. It’s filled to the brim with a bunch of different food she likes; pork cutlet sandwiches with a spicy mustard and mayo spread, cucumber and cheese rolls wrapped in ham, and small tomatoes as a side. She always liked the kind of food that you can just eat with your hands. It’s quick to eat and she can go on a run afterwards. In return, she’ll offer some of her favorite dried apples with you!
She can cook, but she’s been banned from using the microwave or any tools if William is within six-feet of her. Somehow, the two of them cause a lot of trouble when there’s food and the kitchen involved.
William will stare at the lunch box and laugh, saying that 'Obviously, you had to provide me the daily nutrients needed to survive!' and take the lunch box. Despite his more rich upbringing, he adores everything you make. He means it, even if he says it in the most roundabout way possible. He isn’t picky with his food, but there’s one thing that he does love: instant ramen. It’s quick, efficient, and if you made it with your own little editions, such as adding in cheese or vegetables on it, he loves it even more. He’ll bring you to a five-star restaurant afterwards because he can’t cook at all.
The last time he cooked there was a huge fire and he was laughing maniacally while shouting how fun it is to cook. He has been banned ever since. He can’t even touch any frozen foods to microwave after the ‘Jeans’ incident.
Rin will slowly get down on one knee, hold up the lunchbox reverently towards the sun, sunset, moon, or anything that’s high up in the sky, and thank you with a straight face. Rin loves to eat fish, especially salmon or tuna. They like how rich the flavors were at that one restaurant that William brought them to, but your cooking makes the fish taste even better. If you packed some grilled salmon with rice, and a bunch of fruit like pineapple, mangoes, and apples on a bed of lettuce, they’ll be extremely grateful. They’ll share with you some of their Swedish fish snacks!
Rin is the one who primarily cooks, and sadly, is often borne witness to the many incidents that are between William and Lana. To them, it’s sad to see that they know where every fire extinguisher is in the dorm.
Hanami will let out a grateful smile and reveal his own lunch box, saying that he made one for you too. Hanami has a huge sweet-tooth, so he’ll be extremely happy by the fact that you packed him something that has a few sweets inside. He loves steak, so if you managed to make that, his tail will start wagging from how happy he is. By the way, remember that lunch box he made? You see those small, glazed donuts that have a small, wolf face made of red-icing on them? It's his handiwork! Do you like them? If you don’t like the donuts, how about his favorite strawberry-flavored candy?
Hanami has become the designating cook in the group, next to Rin. He has a look of horror on his face whenever Rin tells him about the tales of their ruined kitchen from time to time.
Muzik will simply stare at you as he holds the lunch box, and from there, he’ll ask if you’re trying to negotiate for a smaller price on his wares. If you are or aren’t, Muzik...won’t be listening as he’s already taking out a chunk of his wares to sell to you, all for the low, low price of another lunchbox! He likes healthy foods, so if you make him something similar to spinach seasoned with tsuyu, fermented beans with rice, or even a vegan burger, he’ll be extremely thrilled! He’ll share with you some grilled vegetables that he’ll sometimes cook when he has a craving or two!
Muzik can make concoctions that will help your health, but he can guarantee you that they’re so disgusting that you’ll pass out! Lana was the first victim.

BNHA STREAMER AU
This alternate universe is set in a universe where the cast does not have their quirks.
|• Izuku Midoriya
Midoriya was constantly bullied as a child, so he would let himself escape by watching streamers. He was fascinated by the career in general, and while he was getting through school he started to study the trends.
He convinced his mother, presentation and all, to help jumpstart his hobby. After a while, he decided to choose the channel name Versatile (based on my alternate hero name for him).
Nervous about his Identity, he decided to remain faceless and started to play games completely out about the speedrunnimg strats and the statistics behind drops.
He decided to start speedrunnimg himself, and he found his first friend in the gaming community.
|• Iida Tenya
Iida is the younger brother of game designer Iida Tensei. Surrounded by games, Iida quickly began coding and trying to break the games his family would develop. Eventually he got his own job at the company test playing games.
He eventually decided it would be a great marketing tactic to start streaming so he began under the channel Ingenium. His start was easy given his family's reputation, so his career quickly took off the ground.
He met Midoriya by watching other streamers speedrun his family's games. At first he was very critical, but soon was endeared when Midoriya found new ways to break the game no one at the company was able to.
One day, after streaming, Iida noticed Midoriya was live and raided his channel. Midoriya was very flustered as this was the first truly huge raid he had ever received but was thankful. The two eventually became friends on discord after their fans wished for them to collab, and as they say the rest was history.
|• Hatsume Mei
Hatsume is a developing game designer. She learned coding when she was young and has an internship under the head game developer at Loading Power Ent. She streams under the name CodePink as a play on CodeRed where she showcases her mods and rough ideas.
She met Iida online when he wanted a mod, and basically used him as free promo with the promo built into the game. Iida was annoyed with this at first, but behind the scenes the two talked more and more until they grew a romantic interest in each other until they started to date.
The stream where Mei jumped on Iida while was streaming is still saved in many personal libraries.
Mei actually did not meet Midoriya through Iida, but charmed instead by the smaller streamer's murmurings. She asked him privately to play test a couple of her new mods with her, and he was nervous but thrilled to find another friend.
Iida did attend that livestream, and Midoriya found it about Iida and Mei's relationship through Iida bragging about his girlfriend.
|• Uraraka Ochaco
Uraraka knew that her family couldn't afford to much when she expressed interest in wanting to become a streamer so she started small with a YouTube channel instead. The channel Uravity was a blend between diys and gaming.
Her and Midoriya met outside of their personas one day at a cafe. The cafe was so busy that Uraraka was knocked into the chair across from Midoriya. He was surprised, but Uraraka noticed he was working on some new screens for his streaming. The two launched into a lengthy conversation about graphic design.
Uraraka revealed her channel, and Midoriya was nervous to reveal his channel but Uraraka didn't know he was but was impressed with the amount of followers he had.
The two exchanged numbers, and one day Midoriya found himself playing Smash Bros with YouTuber Uravity. Uraraka was beating his ass.
Midoriya let Uraraka have all the money gained from that stream so she could kickstart her own streaming career.
|• Asui Tsuyu
Unlike the rest, Asui is not a streamer.
She was simply a viewer of Uravity who gained the mod title so she mainly goes around through Uravity and her friends chats moderating and keeping the peace.
Simply known as Froppy, Asui gained a reputation among the forming Izucrew and was soon her name was in all of their mouths with thank yous.
Asui, feeling a bit confident, decided to get a bit more friendly in DMs and while it took a while the Izucrew happily welcomed her into their group. Uraraka eventually asked her out, and the two have been dating ever since.
|• Aoyama Yuga
A French YouTuber under the name Prince Charming who is known for criticizing fashion and reviewing style in media. He started to streaming when he found his newfound interest, and hasn't let go of it ever since. He even started to make clothes for his friends.
One day, him and his parents moved to Japan where he announced his moving with a vlog. Luckily Japanese was his third language with his father being Japanese.
He gave an apartment tour once their moving was complete, and was excited to show he has his own room to decorate for his art and designs.
Midoriya, fascinated by Aoyama's channel, bashfully sent art to his PO box (remember Midoriya is an art god) and Aoyama was so touched that he hung it up in the studio.
Midoriya squealed about it on stream, and word quickly got around to Aoyama. The two were soon in each others dms messaging back and forth until Aoyama suggested Midoriya come over for a video.
Midoriya explained that he was faceless, which gave Aoyama an idea for a video. Aoyama refused to tell Midoriya what the idea was, just that it was a secret. Soon a video was released showing Aoyama creating a face mask for Midoriya to wear using the green bunny aesthetic. Midoriya opened it on stream, and put it on. He commented it was very breathable and that he would be using it for any future vlog or content that required his body.
Aoyama and Midoriya eventually did the video together where Aoyama made Midoriya more fashionable while in turn Midoriya invited Aoyama to an Izucrew Mario Kart stream.
•| Closing Notes
That is it for now! I might write more tomorrow (which will contain Todoroki and Yaoyorozu), but for now I shall leave it at that.
