Rewatching The Unsleeping City: Chapter 2 and in episode 9: "Fight at the Museum", Brennan goads Emily into using her reaction and then has the villains attack her. And she's so genuinely excited about him tricking her into using her reaction, she says, "Oh! You had me use my reaction so I can't use shield! That's really good stuff, and you deserve to hit me."

I love her enthusiasm. D&D is a game. And when you're such an amazing player, you gotta respect when another great gets you. Like, "YES! That was such a smart move!" One master acknowledging another.

ok so i'm not super loud about being a hot murph truther but i am one

and my best friend (who is watching the unsleeping city part 2 for the first time in prep for seeing d20 live) has made fun of me for this in the past

so they're watching with me (it's my 4th or 5th time watching this season lol) and we're looking at the shitty zoom cameras of all the cast and murph has his terrible quarantine haircut and is playing the biggest loser of all time

there’s a scene in the unsleeping city c2 that really hit me where it hurts in a good way in my rewatch.

it’s when pete finds nod after punching null and just holds them in his arms. a scene i watched with no further meaning 4 years ago but now. man.

something about the scion of endless dreaming and hope being held and saved from oblivion by a trans man. it just got me right in the fucked up ball of trans feelings around the future and connection to dreams that pete conlan is a complete example of.
