Salt is a great condiment and it can offer some health benefits, but did you know that too much salt has some negative affects? Salt is a great way to maintain moisture but too much can cause water retention, (making you look puffy and bloated). And it can dehydrate your skin making it look dull and dry. This is extremely bad if you are prone to acne and breakouts When your skin feels dehydrated it will compensate for the dryness by over producing too much oil. So be sure to watch your salt intake.
